i think they really surprised every body in the industry and people are actually making money here, this can indeed be the next big thing if they can keep up had a post there it's only one post but already made more than $50 on it ,unfortunately I can't cash out yet..
So how does this work? Will you have to wait a year to claim this value, or does it pay out within a reasonable time frame? I'm curious about STEEM and I'm usually cold about most alts. But was looking at some of the trending stuff, and wondering if those guys were actually about to get the 5k+ value from those postings, and in what time frame.

Holding bitcoin for long time is only the safe way so that you can save your money, but here is some risk in that also, how means when the bitcoin price falls definitely there is a loss. Even you are holding you are not losing any money so that is good for yourself. Without risks than you cant also make money.
Actually it's not safe to hold it for long term we don't know what will happen next to bitcoin at this moment bitcoin price continue to increase but what if bitcoin crash ? At that time you will lost .so it's better to prepare buy and sell bitcoin to earn profit sell it if you think the price will decrease Unless the price decline is long term, and severe, I would say to hold through the dip. Trading carries some inherent risk of losing value; I would only peg back to fiat after I lost 7-15%, and intend to buy back in at the bottom. Otherwise, safer to hold now that bitcoin isn't as volatile as it once was. A crash to ruin is highly unlikely at this point, or at least it won't be sudden.

Very simple solution to this. Get a glass bottle with a metal screwcap. Print a paper wallet, pub and priv, and roll it up in the bottle with the private key not visible. This is the hard step; glue the bottle shut. You can bury it if you want at this point, but the necessity of breaking the bottle will deter you from accessing the wallet. IF you bury it, I wouldn't use glass, and I'd would pick something more permanent than paper to record the keys.
If you want to up the ante, put it in something valuable you will have to break to access, like a vase. You will think twice before accessing said wallet.

I think about all the cool things I could have purchased with that money. Then I get salty and think about the stupid things that I could have brought, like a backscratcher or a whoopie cushion, that I would actually have instead of the zero balance that is worth nothing. I get annoyed at this point, until I remember it was a game. Then I shrug it off, and go do something else.

Its good as long as you play with money you can afford to lose cause you are not harming yourself or family even if you lose it all. For example if you make lets say 0.10 btc per week and your aim was 0.05 btc then you can do whatever you like with the 0.05 btc additional amount you have got. Things tend to go for worse when you think that you can be rich from gambling. I have seen so many people in my country in the lotto shop playing triples in sports bet and betting huge amount in an attempt to get easy cash. Unfortunately there's no such thing as easy cash, yes you can make them with a bit of luck but in the long run you can lose it all if proper money management is not in place.
And please don't forget the guys that buy lottery tickets all day. I have watched people spend half of their check on stratch offs and quick draws; people that play these forms of gambling probably spend a larger percentage of income betting without even realizing it. Losing a dollar 100 times feels a lot different than losing 100 in one go. Deceptively different.

Depends on what you consider gambling. If you include lottery tickets and stratch offs, women make up a large percentage of lottery spending (although males purchase more of these types of instruments). How many times have you seen a female purchasing a stratch off at a gas station? I'll wait.

Gambling is just for fun and game to me no more, but even if it is just game and for fun i always apply management of risk and money. And i always play gambling with i can lost it. And i don't play gambling every days. Do you apply same something what i have doing or you are very can not control your self? Share your opinions at here.
Like investing, I only gamble what I can afford to lose (much less in the case of gambling ) . When I reach x return, or run out of pre allocated amount of funds, I'm done for the night. You have to employ rules before you go in; this isn't just a game, it's a game for money. Always apply discipline when you deal with money.

As I stated in a similar thread, you may want to shy away from digital goods. You may want to look at a product you can make, a product you can buy in bulk cheaply and resell, or possibly even offering a service. But as far as digital goods go, unless you are creating them (say photographs, or music) you won't be able to mark it up enough for it to be profitable. Also, think about things that all bitcoin users (your target) use. We all obviously have internet devices You are gonna kill this, man just take your time and think it out before you commit.

The reason I suggested a physical good (tea) rather than a digital good is because the digital market is already over saturated. Not only are there forum members selling steam games and keys, and PlayStation codes; they are also a number of homebrew websites, and after all that, you have to compete with Gyft. Better a thing only you can provide, like a hand crafted thing (art, craft, food even) or cater to a niche (specializing in having a wide selection of funny trucker hats, for example). That way you can order in bulk, and make that markup.
There is always a niche.
Always sell what you can mark up the most.
Know your target demographic. You are dealing with techno savvy folks for the most part. Wouldn't do to sell them hamburgers, you could sell those to anyone. Sell them USB cables even. But sell something relevant to the target.
Might follow my own advice about that tea,. Was an afterthought, but I see some merit in it if done right. Gonna clam up about it now.
On second thought, don't sell tea.

Unless you are looking at naked children, you should be safe on the darkweb. You are free to view anything on sale in a dark market as much as you want, thats not ilkegal at all. Buying a controlled substance however, is. You can also buy legal products from the dark web, although it would look dodgy in a court of law. So, unless link clicking is putting files on your comp that shouldn't be there, you haven't broken a law.

I consider all my internet generated value to be like crypto, because I buy bitcoin with it mostly, to speculate long term (or until I spend it). Between Turk and the forum, a slow day is about .013 - .015. If I do some transcription work, that can easily double.

Use one of the crowd sourced labor platforms to generate income, then use that fiat or virtual value to buy bitcoin. A little tricker because of the extra steps, but ultimately, way faster.

It would not even be necessary to affect the price through trading, you could make a change through social media or traditional media way easier. Imagine if everyone at a huge protest wore Bitcoin t-shirts. Or if someone took hostages waving a bitcoin flag. Or even if they bust some guy selling drugs on the dark web for bitcoin. Positive or negative, that news could easily affect the price, at least temporarily.

Try Mturk. You will have to buy your bitcoin, but it's so much faster than a faucet, and you actually get cash direct deposited into a bank account. If that account is attached to coinbase, you could buy directly, with a relatively little exchange fee.

Hold as many btc as you can afford as part of a savings strategy. Don't touch it. If you believe in crypto currency, then you should believe that your investment should mature at least 50% over the next few years. There is little risk in this strategy, and little effort; just park the coins in a paper wallet and break the seal when the price reaches the desired point.

I prefer the logo with fail facing forward. It's one of the simple ones, but from my discussions with one of my SEO minded friends, logos that are clearly recognizable (and legible) tend to stick with users the best. I like the design of some of the other better. Also really liked the guy falling down one in the circle. Very identifiable picture that is persisting in my mind even as I type this post. That's a good thing, as Marth Stewart would say.

Finished. As in keeps on going and rising
deadcat bouncing. ETH is going down, wait and see. Like BTC before it everyone keeps predicting ETHs demise. How long post-fork should we wait? Now is the best time to invest in more ETH. I don't agree with this being a good time to invest, as the 'ETHexit' will undoubtedly mean temporarily lower prices. But I will concede that over time, it will go up. Not a bad coin, just a really, really bad look for the devs.

Please, please do this. I love you Minecache. Not homosexual style, I love your persistence and ambition. Hell, if I was active in social media, I would do this just for the questions it would garner from my friends. #Ethereumlivesmatter I'm black, and from Baton Rouge, I might take some heat for that

Apparently, you would inherit some of the flaws in the model, such as people walking out into traffic, off small cliffs, and into the waiting arms of muggers. Maybe make it more like a pedometer and less like an interactive game. Go is entirely too interactive.
That is like inventing a new sport and blaming the inventor when players hurt themselves. It is not the devs job to prevent people from being stupid. On the tracking thing: The idea of using GPS is obviously flawed, but there are other means to track somebody. The iPod touch uses open Wifis to determine its position. If you know where a wifi spot is and you can measure the strength of the connection, you can triangulate your position once you find at least two of those spots. The simplest idea would obviously be to use this. Another idea would be to create dedicated spots similar to nodes. To incentivise people to place those spots, you could share the earnings of players with them, when somebody accesses their spot. to prevent them from playing themselves on their own node the whole time, you could create tasks that need to be fulfilled. Those tasks would require players to visit nodes that are far away from each other, so they have to travel there. American football. Those guys have been knocking the dog shit out of themselves since the inception of televised sport, and the NFL is taking the heat. In my opinion, it's the fault of both parties. My safety supersedes the sport, and the sport should understand that there are fools, and you have to look out for them. This is why rules evolve in sports, like spearhead tackles being illegal. But agree with the feature suggestions. Like the tasks, I was trying to figure out a way to make the player activities actual useful and non spoofable.
