2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it just me or anyone experienced it as well? on: October 18, 2020, 06:55:39 PM
As you said : You try different platforms
You have to see reviews , try only the trusted sites , I do believe that you have to check where you are using your money and at the same time you have to see the game stats , check the end user agreement. There are many things that one should do if he is such a frequent user and especially in dice games.

They are fun , for sure but these things are genuinely something that will only happen on sites which are not worth being used , you should post names of those sites and at the same time give them a review , talk to their customer services , make a video maybe ?? If possible ?? Since you are experiencing this so frequently. This is serious .

I hope you engage in only trusted ones.
2342  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: October 18, 2020, 06:30:55 PM
This is just my opinion, so don't be offended:
Animals should be in nature and not arrested and abused by human.
The more you support this sick mind set of domesticate animals, the more you support that what are you fighting against right now.

Actually I don't bring any animal home , I cannot , I have limited space , funds and thus cannot even take them out of their natural habitat , what I do is, I take those who are injured, who have some problems , diseases , parasites , wounds. We treat them then get them adopted.

I believe we are not stripping them off their natural habitat but helping them in whatever way we can.

Thank you everyone else for the support, the second small kitten went today to a small family , we have now these three and I got someone who is helping me to take care of them , since I already have 3 at home and 3 outside the house , they are adjusted into a temporary house now and I have started getting more and more information regarding the people who genuinely helps them , so they are messaging me and we are coordinating with them.

The local shelters are full and therefore we cannot even bother talking with them but we are trying to have a home based small shelter where we foster animals a bit till they find home and go to places where people report some abuse or some abandoned pet.

Then again , it's really small and the real reason I thought of sharing it was because there are wonderful people here , some even helped me , so I believe by this particular thread , I want to inspire people even a little bit or maybe make someone go to their local shelter to adopt ? I don't know but I believe we should come together and end the injustice since we are the future of the society and I firmly believe that we need a lot of changes right now.

Thank you again for appreciating my efforts guys and standing up for my actions too.
2343  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a new $2 trillion bill bring back the US economy to pre pandemic levels. on: October 18, 2020, 06:21:29 PM
One question:
Where will the stimulus come from??
It will not only decrease the value of USD. But at the same time will make people to expect something more. Another stimulus bill maybe ?
They have to give them : JOBS " instead of spoon feeding once for the sake of the upcoming elections , they have to make sure that their life is secured and thus what they are doing right now is not only unnecessary, but it's also putting people in an awkward situation.
If you want to improve your economy " send some money into medical businesses instead of using it on combat equipments of police department, educate people , give them jobs , start producing more things in US itself "
What we need right now is :
Jobs
Better medical facilities
Education
Tackle homelessness
2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: October 17, 2020, 10:13:48 PM
https://news.bitcoin.com/a-system-of-robot-drug-dealers-on-telegram-allows-people-to-buy-illegal-products-for-bitcoin/

I came across this news which is unfortunate but inevitable, people use fiat, bank accounts , gold, anything which is worth any value to do illegal activities.

Quote
There’s a new avenue darknet market (DNM) customers have found that allows them to purchase illegal wares 24 hours a day via a robot drug dealer hosted on Telegram. The platform dubbed ‘Televend,’ is an automated software program that peddles illicit narcotics for people paying with bitcoin and during the last few months, the complex system has grown massively.

While many darknet markets have fallen to the wayside, a slew of new types of methods when it comes to selling illegal drugs online has risen. For instance, the world’s largest DNM in Russia, Hydra, leverages a complicated system of vendors who utilize drop zones. Additionally, a great number of DNM customers have used messenger applications like Facebook Messenger, Signal, Telegram, Whatsapp, and others to procure some drugs.

More recently, DNM users have been leveraging a new messenger route that utilizes a Telegram software program or bot called “Televend” to facilitate drug trades.

It’s not too hard to locate the relevant Televend links in order to catch a glimpse at this growing black market platform. According to the program’s learning channel, there are a number of obstacles one must complete before leveraging the Televend route. The channel’s pinned message also gives a brief description of what the bot does and how drug vendors can use the app.

“Televend is an auto-shop bot network for direct dealers, we administer the bots and vendors run them like private shops,” the channel’s message reads. “Customers can visit them and pay with bitcoin, track orders and payments, plus leave feedback and ratings. Vendors control the listings and configuration of their bot via a .onion Tor-based control panel so no Telegram account is needed to vend. At this control panel, they can add listings, process orders, answer messages, and other features.”

>>>..

But this time what's unfortunate is : Government will make this the fault of bitcoins and the people themselves, put up huge restrictions or might even think about issuing a ban.

People are now using social media and telegram to buy illegal things like : drugs , they are paying through Bitcoins.

If someone gets in contact with such agents , they should timely inform the authorities, make sure you don't engage with things like this. It is not only bad for the whole community but it's also attracting negative attention from the black markets.

Again , in some places onion is banned 🚫 but in many you can very easily use the dark web and even order weird and illegal stuff online.

What are your thoughts on this ??
How should we go about controlling this situation without hampering the freedom cryptocurrencies give users ??

( We already have so many restrictions )
2345  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: October 17, 2020, 09:54:54 PM

Again we have now 3 more cats for adoption , it been really hard this week since there is mass poisoning happening in Ukraine and police did nothing till there was countless applications and unfortunately more than 20 animals died in a week.

Some we knew , cared for, some were just looking for a kind hand offering food.

There is literally no execution of laws for the welfare of animals in Ukraine, government doesn't care!! Thats why every week , we find more abandoned pets , more abused animals.

Again , we got application for the last kitten but we are still not sure about her home , the first two needs house immediately.

They all are very beautiful and kind, loves humans even though they have been though a lot.

If anyone wants to adopt and lives near ukraine, please message me , the puppies are big now too (pitbull ones) we are looking for their new owners too.

2346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unique to man. on: October 17, 2020, 05:51:12 PM
Bitcoin gives people in charge of their funds for real , the government, the banks , it's all too complicated and too superficial, but with bitcoins it actually your funds and you can independently make a decision despite any ups and down.

In stock markets and such you have a specific time when you are supposed to mature your funds for and thus it takes some independence away from you, at the same time it's very intensively connected with the government and the market situation is very controlled. But with cryptocurrency like bitcoins it's actually really good to have an option.

It would be better to see if more people appreciate it like you .
2347  Economy / Exchanges / Re: localbitcoins is still exisiting im surprised on: October 17, 2020, 04:12:32 PM
See there are certain things that we have to consider here , not everyone have choices and therefore local bitcoins is well known all around the world , therefore people just try and use their services instead of trying something new that might cause problems or might be a fraud.

But I have seen that even exchanges are giving better rates than local bitcoins now plus most of the times it's really hard to pin point where you would buy/sell because of so many choices and restrictions.

Some have very specific values that they can deal with but with exchanges it's really easy to sell/buy and people should use P2P trading and make a local community this is very easier to deal with and you do have more options there.

But government limitations and limitations with lack of information about fellow crypto users , some have to use local btc in the end.
2348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 17, 2020, 03:28:43 PM
I want to make a survey from gamblers in the forum if they are really reading the TOS of the gambling sites they are playing with.

Therefore, I request you to vote and give an explanation on why you voted yes or no?

Since this is a survey, I would like to honestly answer :
No

I do believe that the starting page is the only one I even look at , most of the times I check the reviews of the site and most of the times it's the sites which are involved in the forum , the ones with the signature campaigns so these sites are the one's that I can trust since most of them take these things seriously.

TOS is much like the user agreement therefore I believe just how we ignore the end user agreements most people ignore the TOS too.

I hope OP is not making this survey for the gambling sites to know, lol.. If they'll know that majority of us here are not really reading the TOS, they might make some sudden changes that is not in our favor. By the way I voted no because OP says he wants and honest answer.

I don't quite sure they will remove it some users here are really serious about the terms and conditions and will not agree that the casino will not have a terms and condition that would be really dangerous for all the players of that casino.

I believe people tend to gamble on sites without any knowledge of TOS. So this dangerous part is really something to be looked upon .

It should be used friendly for sure, but also save site from some problems.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone betting on "Electronic Leagues"? on: October 17, 2020, 02:23:19 PM

I don't feel comfortable and more entertaining compraed to live games.

Betting on live games is intriguing and heart pumping. It is more real and not freely manipulated unlike the program games. I think I prefer the live games if I have opportunity to bet on it. Especially with soocer , it gives me the opportunity to analyse the game before it starts.

I believe it's more like analyzing the players , knowing about them , their stats and such , when we are talking about the live sports it's more or less very varied since there can be new players and such.

I've been seeing that everything I check on the basketball section, even before the NBA was already live and honestly it doesn't interest me as I don't reallt have an idea on how to play it, maybe after reading all the helpful information shared by some users here, I might try.

See it's something that would take time , experience and you have to be consistent with it , which would eventually make anyone with good skills a pro player Wink hopefully

I'd never try this honestly but it looks interesting to me, though. Maybe just a try but I don't want to make myself betting in here because I don't feel comfortable and more entertaining compraed to live games.

I know that this it runs into a certain programs, I'm not sure if this can be still manipulated or not which I'm worried about and this could also a reason why it lessen the interest for many bettors.

Manipulation is always possible.
Be it online, offline, live , prerecorded. What matters is - " what the institution allows, how well they handle it "

Look for a site which have : stats , analysis , recording , previous games and such.
2350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase to Support Bitcoin Core Developers on: October 17, 2020, 07:16:54 AM
That is something very nice that coinbase is going to do for sure , since developers and software engineers do face a lot of problems with limited funds , people who are not willing to support a crypto related project. A lot of resistance from the government itself.
I believe with this they will be able to give them not only support but confidence to the new developers /engineers.

See I understand for a fact that coinbase haven't been the best when it comes to using bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies in a positive way and trying to get politics involved with bitcoins is very catastrophic but I do think I support their idea of supporting the new developers as long as they don't ask for a share in the project or try and use it in negative ways, rest it's a good step , if they are looking forward to correct their mistakes.

Doing something good for the community I think Huh??
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learn the importance of RTP, volatility and hit ratio in online casinos on: October 16, 2020, 05:51:31 PM
It's very interesting to see that players use different methods to win in gambling and online casinos. As for me I go for mainly two things :

1. Games that require a lot of skills eg: black jack
2. Games that have good outcome in terms of probability

But I do believe that using your methods one can very easily add another third in the list.

But mostly it's just for fun and sometimes you are just using slots and don't even remember how many bets you made Tongue

For more detailed information:

Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll)
Slots 103: More In-Depth about Return To Player (RTP) (With Poll)

Anyways, the hit ratio is useful information if gamblers want to vary their bet. Let's say with the hit ratio of 20%, 1 hit out of 5 spins on average, gamblers can increase their bet after x no-hit spins. Let's say after 10 no-hit spins, next spin "would likely" hit something. However, keep in mind that 0.1x "win" is also considered as a hit. lol

Yes , that's something very important too , but now a days I have seen casinos which are trying to evade the hit ratio and it's most likely luck by chance when you hit something high.
2352  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump and imf boss want to print more money on: October 16, 2020, 04:12:09 PM
Trump have literally no qualifications or whatsoever to actually take on an economy like America and do something good out of it. Along the course of his reign he have had not only successfully guided the economy towards recession and inflation but at the same time personally I believe gave a strong support to racism.

Right now what he is doing is something that we should not judge since we all are right now in a pandemic and thus we have no idea how it's going to turn out.

But it's unfortunate, the guy literally is holding rallies and such , people are there without masks, now the guy wants to print excessive amount of money , it would not only cause inflation in America but at the same time it would also crush economy of the countries related with American economy.

trustless
Huh??
- did you mean trustworthy??

Quote
Nobody can run off with all your money, but you can

This is a funny statement, since most people here are not the ones who will run off with their money , it's something which imposters , criminals do.
The base should always be : stability

Plus I do believe that there are many other things that one can add here , regarding the bitcoins and their usage, helping the economy build globally over the scope of internet.

- economic instability is prime problem now a days , we are going through a pandemic and unfortunately stock markets , governmental system , everything is down Where as bitcoins is somehow stable and providing people with job opportunities, opportunities of inter day trading and long term investments.
2354  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Supply Growth Has Never Been As High As It Is Today on: October 16, 2020, 10:26:03 AM
Yes this is one of our most dire concerns. The huge money supply needs a strong back support , the country must be able to tolerate it , but unfortunately due to the pandemic I don't believe that they can keep this up for long.

The Inflation is bound to affect not only the people but the country as a whole , but I do believe it's going to be worse for the nations who rely on import, even of basic things like flour and vegetables.

Quote
The countries that are heavily relying on imports food are Mexico, Japan, S-Korea, Egypt. With the exception of China, the proportion of the globally imported food for most other countries is relatively small (usually less than 20%)..
{Taken from google}

So these countries will be worst hit eventually.

The zero interest rates aren't helping actually, people are taking loans more and eventually they would have to pay off somehow, it might stimulate economic activity for a while but unfortunately right now every country is at a peak.

We need more job creation.
More production of foods and other resources in the countries themselves.
Better and cheaper healthcare facilities right now.
Free distribution of masks and gloves , because I have seen shops selling masks for 0.5$ -1$ , unaware that this would just cause more problems.

We need to go though this pandemic without loosing the value of the printed money.
2355  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tennis G O A T: Who Will Eventually Be Considered the Greatest of These Three? on: October 15, 2020, 05:02:01 PM
I do think that age would actually be considerably very important but then again all the players are experienced here.

I personally believe that : Djokovic would eventually beat them up to the top but then again if we look at the stats , it is going to take a while.
For me the answer is clear: Federer is in a league of his own followed by Nadal in second place and Djokovic is third.

I do think Federer is the greatest, and as others have said this can't be determined purely on number of grand slam wins.

But Nadal is certainly greatest on clay... so if we are talking about greatest overall tennis player, it can't be Nadal because his record on other surfaces doesn't match Federer or Djokovic.

We need to make the clay/all surfaces distinction... because even if Federer is the greatest overall tennis player, he still wouldn't be favourite against Nadal on clay.
Exactly
We have to analyze everything here , even for the future I believe Djokovic would be able to beat them eventually. Plus at the same time right now a statement was made how he was under the pressure of his coach so he wasn't able to do well.
Mental health plays a great role too here.

Apparently people are so set on Rafael because of his experience and scores.

https://tennishead.net/novak-djokovic-is-younger-but-i-am-going-with-rafael-nadal-says-top-twenty-star/ they are all set on Djokovic getting out of the rounds soon , but who know ? Maybe he can turn things around.
2356  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin start Backing USA dollar on: October 15, 2020, 07:37:02 AM
Cryptocurrencies cannot back fiat

For Backing we do need something:
Non Volatile
Stable
Usually acceptable all over the world
Etc..

Cryptocurrencies are certainly in the rear end of the spectrum when we are talking about Volatility and such , for right now I think we have not yet reached a state where cryptocurrencies can do that.

Therefore I believe it cannot back USD in any case. When it comes to government , they have to back up banks and are mostly are very interconnected with them , banks are the number 1 competitor of cryptocurrencies therefore it would not only create an economic unrest but issues in the governance.
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "mining cartel" (centralization power) on: October 12, 2020, 06:16:26 PM
In economics I believe : Money can influence anything.
Bitcoins was not considered a form of money in the previous time but now I believe anyone would be lucky to have some bitcoins lying around. Not only that , the government is trying to copy bitcoins by creating something like it , but centralized. ( But they don't realize that , they are killing the whole purpose of bitcoins)

At the same time , it is now important to understand that bitcoins is influencing the nation's in way unprecedented previously.

In many countries it's been used as a way to fight the oppression of the government.

In many countries it's been used to start a political uproar during crisis.

Bitcoin have already proved itself to be useful in the cases that you are asking about.

_*_

But a mining cartel able to control economics? I doubt that . They will have to face immense resistance from everywhere since the network like bitcoins is based on freedom , power given to an individual holding it, if mining companies started influencing things like this, they would be long gone.
2358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone bet on the sharks yet ? on: October 12, 2020, 03:17:23 PM
I think it is not possible for us to bet on White Sharks. As far as I know they are the most dangerous kind of sharks out there. And beside this I am never a fan of animal fighting or sea creatures fighting or whatever creature without logic to bet on them.

No fighting
No violence
It's actually just the opposite.
Sharks usually follow a course , a directed path, to find food/mates etc... So the betting is to essentially:
1) spread some positive news about sharks/ their conversation/ make people more involved
2) people are getting the live view , making it more or less interesting for them.
3) without killing an animal , you are helping it save and at the same time it's like watching your own personal discovery channel with probability of winning.
I don't know if that thing is available, but if that so, I don't know if people will try to bet on the sharks because maybe they will try to bet on other games. But I don't want to bet on the sharks or other animal betting because I am not feeling right to bet on them. I think that better to bet on sports or other gambling games, and I think many people will do the same. But if you are still interested in that, you can try it on.

Actually it's just a way to help people focus on the shark conservation:P

A lot of comments here ... I wish you guys would read the article first. It's actually positive for them.
2359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin truly moving forward? on: October 12, 2020, 01:48:02 PM
See I do believe that you understand that the highs and the lows are both the part of the same coin. Most of the times it's a part of *demand and supply* , people are going to sell if they buy it, they will infact sell in during a pandemic or a situation which needs immediate attention. Therefore I think you are missing the whole point here.
The main part of bitcoins is the : Usage
If we see fluctuations in price every once in a while , it's not only a buying opportunity but at the same time, it's also a test of patience. Be patient, sell them later and for the meanwhile worry less about the price , but the usage. If you do think you cannot take a huge loss then keep trading or either encash them as soon as you receive them.

See the most important thing is : freedom, you can do whatever you want with your bitcoins now. It's your choice.

-*-

Now it's even more recognized, by the government by the people. No matter what  it have helped most of us through this pandemic. This is for sure much more than 2009 .
2360  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 12, 2020, 11:31:37 AM
Pandemic is never good for anything, not for bitcoins, not for economy , not for anything else but when you see in the bigger picture , pandemic have made people to choose another option, option other than banks and big companies. Now what they are doing is : Switching to bitcoins , to try and get jobs which are well paid for in bitcoins, to explore their options etc.. I have seen people asking me things like: "Hey, are you still into that bitcoins thing ?" So I send them the link to the forum and I believe they can explore, give it some time, see how they can run their businesses internationally, online , thorough cryptocurrencies.

But bitcoins have performed extremely well during the pandemic, it actually didn't go into a recession and therefore it's also attracting people from stock markets now.
