2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 05, 2021, 04:58:59 AM
Everyone is really excited how will Klay be in his comeback, Durant's comeback last year was pretty awesome, as if he didn't have the injury, and hopefully we wanted to see the old Klay, catch and shoot 3's, moving without the ball, playing good defense.

But before we can see him on the court, GSW will needs to make sure that he is healthy because that is really a devastating injury and wanted that no stones are left un turn, 100% healthy for him or no play.
Well, if Klay's comeback turns out like that then that would be too awesome to see, though haters gonna hate, as always. The Klay Thompson that doesn't need to dribble to score? That nostalgic feeling seeing how good he was on those clutchy moments.

A 2 years of rehab I think should be enough now (fingers crossed) and let's trust the specialist around his rehabilitation that it will be all alright when he comes back to court again.

Klay Thompson does not have haters, lol. I like to see him back soon because with Curry they will definitely gonna rule with their good 3 point shooting skills. For now, they are living with the current roster but they are already good enough, in fact, they only have 1 loss so far and that's very impressive.
2342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: November 04, 2021, 11:56:47 PM
it's true that we should be able to protect our crypto assets and not be too exposed because we don't know what someone's mind is like. Although blockchain technology is a safe and protected technology, we still have to be more vigilant and careful. actually not only in the crypto world, but in other businesses we also have to be careful with our wealth because when talking about crime it can happen anytime and anywhere. use the crypto business properly and appropriately because we still need privacy on our own crypto assets.
We should always see to it that we remain private as well as all of our assets as much as possible so other people cannot interfere and will not have any insights on our own personal information. Well, its not bad to brag sometimes assuming that you can somehow inspire other people but when we talk of bitcoin, its better to keep it untold and keep it private just how most of the early traders deal with their bitcoin assets and investments. Better to keep it yourself than lose and that would make you feel so desperate when it happens.
Just like on my situation on where i do still remain low key but do end up on having lots of questions around my neighbor since i had purchased my own car and house with my crypto earnings.

There are really situations which cant really be avoided even if you dont tend to boast up your holdings but still it could really generate out questions
on people who had known you.

Therefore you should really make yourself prepared on different possible situations might happen.

Normal reaction for people since they see that you bought something valuable and they try to ask what is the source of your income since they want to have that to, but one piece of advice maybe you should higher up your job description so that they will not think that you do illegal things online since sometimes we can't deny that there are other people think about your dealing something bad that's why you earn fast money on internet.
I had a friend too that is the same with your situation so what he did is he indulge in other investments that can be visible by his neighborhood. In this way, though he's been criticized on how he has been making a luxurious life when in fact he has no stable income, at least this time he has other solid bases how he had achieved his present way of living.

There are a lot of assumptions that can be made when you become suddenly rich but as long as you never announced it on public, and you remain to be a low key, that's fine but just be careful all the time as someone might get jealous and want to steal what you have right now.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 04, 2021, 11:31:41 PM
That dream fight already happened, in fact, they had already faced each other twice and in the 2nd fight, it was Canelo who won the fight. We know a trilogy would be an exciting one, but we should respect if Canelo does not want it anymore, besides, he is still dominating in his division and has nothing to prove anymore.

A trilogy with GGG may not be too exciting anymore for me as GGG has declined a lot due to age obviously while Canelo is in his prime at the moment. We might see another Pacman vs Ugas where the older fighter could hardly move  Grin.

This fight with Caleb Plant has become personal to Canelo for all the trash talk Caleb has thrown at Canelo and Canelo said that he wants to punish Plant for that so I guess this will go the full 12 rounds and there is no chance of an upset here IMO.

This is a great odds because the odds for KO is lower so good decision mate. Just like the fight of Canelo against Callum Smith, it's possible that it will end up in the judges' scorecards where Canelo will be declared as a winner via unanimous decision. What happened in the press conference might add some spice and people would think Canelo would end this fight early but we know how smart he is, he does not fight by his emotion, he always uses his techniques to win, slowly but surely.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 04, 2021, 11:08:03 PM
I'm surprised there are four people voted for Logan to win this exhibition fight against the old time champion. lol
Tyson was one of the badass in the ring during his time and I doubt Logan did realize that but whatever, I'm sure we'll see another punching bag in the ring during this exhibition fight.

People are doing something in order for them to make the fight interesting but isn't Tyson is too much for Logan? Well, as far as money moves they can do whatever the hell they want and even if they say that this is for the charity but somehow it's helping the real boxers to make some money since I know for sure this is just for the views.
Upsets do happen but this one is never having 0%  chance of winning even  on my wildest dream on which Logan could take down Tyson.
Boxing or any sports industry is a business and no surprising that they would set out these kind of exhibition matches for the sake of money and not just for pure entertainment.Just get used to it because this is how this industry works.
You can never tell that because Mike here is the old boxer and we don't know if his stamina is strong enough to last until the last round of the fight. Logan Paul may have no won a single fight yet, but he is well conditioned and he might not be easily taken down by an old Mike Tyson.
2345  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 04, 2021, 10:14:36 PM
As far as I see, a lot of people here are very happy when they read news about this or that bank adopting bitcoin exchange, offering crypto related services or doing something related to crypto.

At some point I understand that people like it because they want to see crypto everywhere but the downside of this is that crypto gets more regulated and I think it losses the magic/spell that it had before. Personally, I think that more adoptions and regulations won't do any good for bitcoin, it will just become a little bit different digital version of fiat. I think as time goes, anonimity, decentralization and these words are fading away and they turn into myths like Greek gods.
The thing is there is nothing we can do about it, banks will eventually get into this market as banks move only because of one reason and that is money, banks are not moved by ideologies, if their owners think they can make money with bitcoin then they will adopt it and offer it to their clients and eventually offer custodial services as well.

This is nothing unexpected, or did anyone thought they would refuse to adopt bitcoin despite the profits they could get and they would watch while bitcoin takes over their traditional services? They will adopt it and will try to mold it to their needs, but as long as we can transact our coins without them being in the middle of the transactions they are not really affecting the fundamental way in which the bitcoin network works.
Sooner or later, we just have to accept the fact that bitcoin will be adopted by banks and all financial institutions. As bitcoin continues to be part of big companies, then it will also likely to happen that in the near future, banks too will also adopt bitcoin and integrate crypto related activities in their transactions. For now, its not yet happening but as bitcoin gets mainstream and continue to receive positive feedbacks, then for sure the government will allow banks to accept bitcoin or crypto in the long run. The process might be tough only in the start and will be smooth sailing as the time goes.
2346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages Of Crypto, Disadvantages of Crypto on: November 04, 2021, 08:38:23 AM
I think the biggest disadvantages of crypto and the main obstacle for it to become mainstream is how unstable and price volatility it is. Many other disadvantages can be addressed and resolved but this one is kind of dilemma since because of this, many people also become attracted to crypto.
The volatility of cryptocurrencies can also be a very good key in terms of exploiting profits although the potential for losses is still there and also very close, but for those who dare to act and understand how to run it, then it is a good opportunity to try it.
I agree on you. Volatility will always be an issue when it comes to crypto adoption. The citizens will certainly be confused on the amount of crypto as it has no fixed value, and is prone to changes once price fluctuations happen. However, if its a barrier for crypto adoption, well it is an asset for crypto to have price volatility and decentralized nature that makes people to stay more in crypto. With price volatility, there's always a chance for all investors to get rich quick once the new ATH for a certain coin is achieved.
2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency must adapt in schools/colleges curriculum on: November 03, 2021, 11:38:59 PM
Its already been a while where certain schools had included out crypto/blockchain into their curriculum.

https://www.coinspeaker.com/universities-blockchain-courses/
https://www.europeanbusinessreview.com/top-universities-who-added-bitcoin-to-their-curriculum/
https://www.accounting.com/degrees/cryptocurrency-blockchain-courses/

Its great to see such add up and recognition which would really even haste up the level of awareness or adoption.
This really has a huge impact. The more people get educated about crypto, the faster adoption we are able to see.
Young minds are more aggressive when it comes to new learning and since they are more exposed to the internet and know more about gadgets, that was easier for them to understand.

One year learning about crypto, I think it was good enough and that was enough for them to educate and teach their family members as well. Maybe we have to wait and see how much it is contributed to the adoption a few years from now as this couldn't have instant results.
Right. If all people will receive right education for crypto, then there will be no instances that the government might doubt its potential as everything is transparent in crypto. The adoption will be more achieve in an earlier time because there will no big barriers that will block from crypto adoption. And indeed, this adoption will bring a lot of positive effects not just for its users but also for the whole country as well. And once crypto is legal, scammers will be sanctioned once they are caught scamming in crypto so probably it will be lessen the cases though.
2348  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: November 03, 2021, 09:13:48 PM
Its too early to predict $1m price in 2022 lets give it another 5-10 years and this will become really possible if we consider the supply it will become really scarce in the next few years. For my own realistic prediction based from history its possible to reach $250k in 2022, that $80k can easily reach this year.
Yeah, we can be sure about $1M not possible in 2022. It must need one more halving to happen as per my speculation. By this current bullish trend I guess we could expect up to $500k levels if this trend continues to 2022. Otherwise we may end up around $120k levels by end of this year. I guess the November month may get us exact clue on where we are going to finish 2021 which might lead us to speculate on 2022 later on.

I agree with your realistic predictions still I am just extending that into bubble region as usually we do finish off all bullish trend into bubbles. Hence, I am expecting this bullish trend as well will conclude with a strong bubble which may be around $500k levels.
I think $80k is not even possible this year because as we can see, bitcoin price has only made a slight increase up to the present and its price is only between $60k-$63k and yet, the year will be almost over. So to be more practical, my prediction for bitcoin price as of this year will only be $70k-$75k until the end of the year. Although its not really sure because who knows, bitcoin price will take a high leap when december starts. No one really knows how far bitcoin can go this year. Hopefully by next year, we can see bitcoin price touching $100k-$150k, and more chances that it could even go higher than that.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 03, 2021, 06:53:20 AM

Are there any timeline for a Kawhi Leonard return though?

No timetable yet, but it's safe to assume that he won't be available this season as he underwent surgery that would require him to rest and do some rehabilitation to regain his strength. Besides, the Clippers are not rushing things, they cannot risk their main star health and get him reinjured again

https://www.si.com/nba/clippers/news/kawhi-leonard-ahead-of-injury-rehab-schedule

Man, this long term injuries really suck. Especially If the injured person is a superstar. Some of them played differently when they return, I remember Vince Carter, and TMac. Though there were also those who recovered and played the same or became even better like Paul George.
The is the reason why I appreciate LeBron's durability and Kobe's passion to the game playing against his injuries. I'm starting to think, it's very important for the rising superstars to train their body to become more durable and less likely to develop a long term injury.

Well, the Clippers is really in bad shape right now without Leonard. I hope he'll be fine once he comes back.

It's an ACL Tear, that has been his problem and I could not forget who started that injury, it's Zaza Pachulia who intentionally put his foot on the landing spot of Leonard during their series, and that resulted to a loss of the Spurs in the series. Good thing Leonard does not commit serious injury when he played with the Toronto Raptors, maybe the load management helped him a lot which we don't see a lot in his current team.

When Leonard is health, the Clippers are a championship caliber, but now, I believe they'll be lucky if they'll make it to the playoffs again.
2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: November 03, 2021, 05:46:05 AM
I'm not surprised by the result though, but it was suprising to see that Caraballo has a weak chin he was really exposed in this fight.
Yeah, this fight exposed his glass liked chin and his next opponent will certainly make a game plan to target his weak chin if they will not work on strengthening it, and I don't know if it's possible as Amik Khan had that same problem and that made him struggle once he hits in his weak spot.

Let's see if a rematch would happen, although he has a glass chin but let us not underestimate him because he always gets up and is eager to continue the fight, in fact, there are rounds that he is winning. Maybe next time Caraballo will try to improve his defense and not be too confident and always go for a kill, that loss will be an eye-opener for him that he cannot knockout every fighter he will face in the ring.

Maybe he wasn't hit solid by Jonas, but just imagine if Jonas hits him with one Hail Mary punch, specially that he didn't expect, for sure he will be knock out cold. He already knows that Jonas can take his shot, he may have broken Jonas nose, but what can you say? the Filipino is very tough cookie to crack that not even a knock out artist like him can put the good man down. And that's a wrong mindset to begin with, thinking that everyone of his opponent can be knockout by his power. Hard lessons for him to learn.

Sultan has earned respect winning the fight, he is due for a big fight and will surely gain attention from the fans since he beat Caraballo who is an undefeated fighter and a knockout artist.

Just like Casimero, I believe one day that they will become a champion also, and though his record is not so impressive he is always a tough challenger to anyone with a flawless record and a boxer who has a huge potential to be a champion. Based on his record, he has not been KO yet, and most of his losses is via UD, which means he has strong stamina but lack of boxing skills IMO.  https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/648292
2351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: November 02, 2021, 11:03:47 PM
The live SHIBA INU price today is $0.000079 USD with a 24-hour trading volume of $37,333,226,707 USD. Then many people flocked to buy shiba inu when the price is now close to 1 IDR.

If I now buy with a capital of 1000 USD, is the future still a profit or loss if in Hold?

anything could happen but in my opinion with a high trading volume it is very possible the price will continue to increase, today the price has reached 1 IDR and has lasted a few days after the price increase so it is very possible the price will continue to increase, I hope so because I bet big on this coin to be able to repeat success like the Doge coin, I strongly believe it will.
A meme coin like Shiba Inu has its own potentials to attract its supporters and as its community continue to grow, its price will also be increasing in value. But if you aim that it could be better with dogecoin, don't expect too much. Yes, it really has chances to outperform dogecoin in the long run but just like how dogecoin falls its value when the hype is over, it will also be possible for Shiba Inu. Knowing their both meme coins, their future might also end up in the same way. Although not really sure, but to make it less risk, you can invest in Shiba Inu with the amount you can afford to lose.
2352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: November 02, 2021, 04:53:28 PM
Bitcoin value grow faster just because are more people adopting it on a daily basis and that make the demand curve higher than the supply curve. Bitcoin price will continue to grow because as more people adopting it the higher its market value because Bitcoin supply is limited and that alone is a strong sign that it will continue to grow. Why people believe in Bitcoin as compared to others is because of the people has for Bitcoin.
The growth of any coin will definitely base from its own adoption and how the community reacts or benefits from it. No wonder bitcoin is growing faster than any crypto coin because it dominates the crypto market in the first place and so its even gaining more recognition from its users and holders. And with the blockchain technology that bitcoin brought to us, there is a big assurance that bitcoin is safe and more secured having it as an investment and as a currency. But behind all those positive things about bitcoin, there has never been a guarantee that it will always grow forever. It has its own pump and dump season so its price will be in constant change. However, despite of its volatility, bitcoin value will always lead into a more greater value and will definitely won't stay dumping for a long time.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 02, 2021, 01:56:28 PM
Paul George went off again tonight. He’s starting to look like pre-injury PG13 again. A shame he doesn’t have his sidekick out there with him, but at least he won’t tonight. He had to put up 32-9-7 on 5-8 from 3 point range but a win is a win no matter how hard the Clippers have to lean on him for it. It would be nice to see more wins coming from the Lakers/Clippers/Nets superteams.
He can't do it alone, I think he has the same predicament as Luka in Magic, needs to put up offensive numbers just to be able to win. But when everything went wrong, there's no one to help. It's good though that Reggie Jackson, Kennard and Batum has somewhat scored above 10 points, enough for George to get a very hard win against a 1-6 OKC. But maybe next time, they won't be as lucky as this game.

George has been somewhat carrying the team but this won't work every game right? My guy scored 32 points,  gave 7 assists, and took 9 rebounds. He has been very good both in the defense and offense. Although this match he got the support needed from his teammates as Batum, Reggae and Kennard scored 14, 15, and 14 points. But I hope his teammates keep giving him this support throughout the season.
Of course, that if they still want to be in the playoffs.

Leonard is out of the season already, they can only defend on their one superstar which is PG13, the Clippers need a healthy PG13 so they will have a leader. They reach the WCF last season but I think it will be harder this time as teams like the Warriors and Lakers are healthy again.

It's a big task for PG but there's no doubt he can carry it as he proved it already to us who doubted him during the last playoffs.
They struggle from the start but they are still a good team as they play stronger in the 4th quarter and win.
2354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 02, 2021, 01:22:19 PM
I think Mike will either get gassed and look terrible after the second round, or he’ll knock Logan out. Still no official announcement from either camp on the fight…
I'm pretty sure Logan knows this and his strategy to get Mike tired so he can use that as an advantage to win.

While for Mike Tyson's camp, they know that their boxer is pretty old, so their best shot to win the fight is to beat Logan early and make sure Mike will knock him out so a win will be achieved. Lots of possibilities in this fight, but one thing I'm sure, this should be fun as both boxers does not run, I mean, they'll have a war and give a real entertainment value to the viewers.

Both are considered as good strategy, but considering that this is just an exhibition fight and is more on the money side, if they'll be able to create a good script that buyable for the fans, while finalizing the dates better to start throwing trash talks to be ring generated interest, use their social media channels to hype up the event.

Logan Paul has his 23M fans, those people who can multiply once they are convinced that the fight will be interesting to watch. Roll Eyes

If they will fail to sell this fight, they will just waste their money paying both Tyson and Paul's camp! Tongue

I don't expect that 23M fans will watch the fight or will subscribe on the PPV, even if they get at least 10% of that total fans, that would still result in a good amount of money as the amount of PPV is around $40 to $50 depending on who will fight. So for the purpose of demonstration, let's estimate that the PPV price is $50 and there are at least 2 million fights that will avail the PPV, that would result to a whooping $100 million cold money,
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia doesn't wants its citizens earning with cryptos on: November 01, 2021, 11:45:35 PM
If the reason is that they don't want the citizen to earn bitcoin, then that is a stupid reason.

There should be a bigger reason than that, it could be the risk that they can't and don't want to manage.
I'm afraid that Russia would treat bitcoin and crypto as a whole like China, I hope they won't impose a total ban.
I think what we have here is certainly a FUD. Russia is very different from China so i don't think Russia will come up banning crypto just because they don't want their citizens to get involved in cryptos. How would that happen if the president alone is not taking crypto as against the government? President Putin has been more vocal that he certainly knows bitcoin that has a value so i don't think crypto will be banned. Instead, its adoption is more possible because crypto is now widespread in Russia and with the tax that the government can get from it, it will be a huge help to maintain the progress of Russia.
2356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think October will be for alts? on: November 01, 2021, 09:38:30 PM
I think if an altcoin is promising, then it does not need an altseason, but in general, of course, I am waiting for this, but for some reason only the top 10 CMC show growth dynamics, or these are my subjective observations, I think by the end of this month we will see new ATH for altcoins.
I doubt October is the month we all waiting for, the total market dynamics don't go in up direction for the last 2 weeks. Small corrections towards ATH for BTC don't mean it will be the same for the altcoins, alt season may happen after November.
For me, alts season will be more possible after bitcoin's bull run and most probably it will start by early next year. Although some altcoins are making significant price increase this time due to bitcoin's bullish trend but there is no guarantee that they will always be in a high value. Whenever there's a market crash that may hit the market anytime soon, these altcoins will be the first to be affected including those low value coins that are also seen having a price increase because they are influenced with bitcoin. So let's not hope for alt season this time, its more on bitcoin's bull run that is starting to be more visible this time.
2357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top coin to invest in for passive income? on: October 29, 2021, 04:35:05 PM

It is very important to find a prospective coin on the early stages of its development. But to do this development it is necessary to check. For example something like this - https://pacificdefi.medium.com/pacific-defi-weekly-report-oct-11th-18th-d41f66363dfb

I agree that now investors have a big choice. But because cryptocurrency is very popular a lot of scams appear too, that is why it is very important to check all the projects and its development.

It is good that now investors have a big choice of cryptocurrency projects but big choice means big work. It is necessary to carefully check all the projects.
If you wish to invest in altcoins, then you should be more careful in choosing which projects to invest as most of the projects today don't have high potentials and don't even met the demand from its community. So its very risky if you invest in altcoins because most of them are just easily affected by the market sentiments, and they easily get dumped. I suggest to focus on the top coins in CMC as they have high potentials because they are well established and well developed coins, and whatever price corrections that affect them, they are still bound to recover.
2358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 29, 2021, 12:25:03 PM
Clippers vs Blazers tomorrow, what do you think about this game.

Game history. Oct 25, 2021, Clippers won W 116 - 86.

They dominated the Blazers and now the Blazers will play at home and will try to avenge their loss against the Clippers.
So what's going to be the bet here, will the Blazers win here and cover the spread of -2.5?
2359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The president of El Salvador just bout 420 BTC! on: October 29, 2021, 11:37:14 AM
Nayib Bukele  really stuck his head out there, because his decision to accept Bitcoin as a legal tender, angered the "Puppet Masters" of this world. They already threatened him by warning him that international loans to his country will stop, if he continue on his new path. (Giving them the finger, earns him points in my good books)

I am not saying that dictatorship is correct, but his decision to give Bitcoin an opportunity to help with remittance to his country and to reduce banking fees in a country filled with poverty, is definitely commendable.  Wink

That's right, dictatorship is not bad at all if the policy is to help the economy of the country to improve.

Supporting bitcoin by legalizing it and buying it tells complete confidence from this country.
Actually, I think the title is a bit misleading since the BTC that they bought is not for the personal funds of the president, it's for the country.
2360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: October 29, 2021, 08:37:22 AM
Hello friends happy weekend to you all.

What do you think about Saturday and Sunday trading Huh
^ If you have been noticed that weekend is most likely the market is not good for trading, it will usually drop the price, and weekend I think the best is filling up your bag. As you can see many of us here suggest that weekdays are supposedly your day, a family day that there are no traders playing in the market. But you can try, because sometimes weekends have a different flow compared to other weeks, there is no a perfect day on trading, you must observe the market too and analyze how it will move.
To be honest, i don't see any difference when it comes to trading at weekdays and weekends. I usually trade when i see the market is very positive, and starts to take a break when the market is now at its bearish season. But to answer your question OP, i prefer to make trading when its weekdays since i also considered trading as my job that gives me a decent income. And when it comes to weekends, i rarely do trading these days because i considered them my rest days. But that won't stop me from not seeing the market price movement because i really still do. After all, trading has given me huge profits so i would not want to lose that chances whenever i see good opportunities to trade.
