2361  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Would smaller blocks reduce Bitcoin energy requirements? on: March 25, 2017, 10:50:04 PM

There would simply be more blocks that didn't make it to the chain and it wouldn't be Bitcoin anymore but some sort of altcoin.

Everybody seems to comment on orphaned blocks, and I appreciate the distress that these could cause for some miners. Nobody seems to mention the aborted blocks that occur when a miner is too late to add to the blockchain. The hash power and electricity that is used in creating these aborted blocks must be several million times that required to create the orphans.

What you describe always happen. There is only 1 miner winning. Everyone else is loosing. It is part of the design.

Orphans though are real additional "cost" (wasted processsing power/electricity).
2362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 25, 2017, 10:19:38 PM
The future of Bitcoin is bright either way, BUcoin HF or not. I'm using every possibility to increase my Bitcoin stash, the cheaper the better!

My doubt is if splitting the miners with the competing chain could expose core to significant risks of attack for a while. There would be even some lagging until difficulty adjusts. But probably nothing of dramatic.

Depends on how many miners switch. Imagine 50/50. We would have double the blocktimes for 2014 blocks? (Depending of course when the HF starts)
2363  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Radioactive Iodine-131 detected over large areas in Europe. on: March 25, 2017, 10:07:22 PM
There are unconfirmed reports of Ukraine building a radioactive ditch along the border with the rebel-held Donbass, using contaminated machinery from the Chernobyl forbidden zone. And remember that Iodine-131 is one of the major contaminants in the Chernobyl area.
As always you are using a tale. Where did you get this information? It's a lie! Besides, it makes no sense. Why Ukraine to infect their territory? In the Kremlin there is no mind.

Looking back at all the posts in this thread, first someone accused the Russians without any evidence before provoking a reply in kind from some other user. And regarding Ukraine, if you are knowledgeable about the situation then you won't be surprised. Donbass is a Russian-speaking area, and the current Kiev junta wants the inhabitants to immigrate to Russia.

Looking back through all the post it is pretty hilarious how wrong the russian bots are Smiley
2364  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Yeah, Obama tapped his phone. Nobody thought he'd win. Now the country is fukt. on: March 25, 2017, 10:04:03 PM
It's obviously his strategy to manipulate people and to show himself like ''victim'' of negative media and bad people.
What a joke!

Actually, Donald Trump IS a victim of negative media propaganda directed against him. And his victory in the 2016 United States presidential election is a valid proof to this claim, and it further shows that the majority of the American citizens side with him in his battle against the corrupt media. It is not Trump who is trying to manipulate people. It is the media which is doing that.

3 million more votes for hitlery. Go learn some basic maths.

x+3 > x

Trump won the eloctorate - he didnt got the majority vote.
2365  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Daily life in Pyongyang on: March 25, 2017, 09:49:23 PM

China now has a 2-child policy, because their economy is in a good state right now, and they don't need to limit the population growth. Population control is needed only when the government is unable to provide to its citizens.

No they abolished the 1 child policy because it strongly damaged their demographics.
Right now they are trying hard to increase the chinese child birth rate.

If nothing changes in less then 1 generation they have to import double digit millions of workers.

Btw. The increase in child birth was much less then anticipated - which shows again that industrialisation decreases child birth rates.

2366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The level of unpopularity Trump grows. on: March 25, 2017, 09:40:41 PM
58% of the population does not support its activities. So, rating the unpopularity of the head of government reached the highest point since he became President in January. I wonder when it will reach 100%. Your forecasts. http://www.gallup.com/home.aspx

It will never reached that high. It can go up to 60 to 65 percent but never on 100 percent. Trump has gain the trust of the religious sector by removing the rights of women to abort their children. That alone has given Trump a solid and loyal support from the US Churches. The same time a huge number in business sector were amazed by his performance that in just in one month he was able to reduce the debt of America by 12 billion dollars and aside from that he made the dollars value spiked in just a few months in service.

That's just not true, the only thing he's personally done relating to abortion is going to be when he signed the executive action not allowing federal money going to promote abortion in foreign countries, I don't know how that would be something that American citizens tax dollars should be going to but that's something that you think.

Data brought to you by the same people who gave Hillary a 98% chance of winning the 2016 election.

Fellow pede I love the red pilling it's just amazing. But yes, the same people that are doing all these polls on the satisfaction of President Trump by the people are the same ones that were horribly wrong on election day.

Well who wanna take bets that the trumpwall and the tax reform will fail too?

And whos fault will it be?
Of course it is all a big obama/hitlery conspiracy.
They probably blackmailed half of the GOP with money from SA and from selling kids to pedos.
2368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nazi New World Order on: March 25, 2017, 01:37:46 PM

The main aim of the modern feminism is not to achieve equal rights for both the women and men. Actually their aim is to make women a dominant gender, and rule over the men. This is a form of supremacy, just like the racial supremacy of the Nazis.

That's correct, it's not about female equality, but about female supremacy.

70% of the service sector jobs are made up of females, and then they cry that they are under reppresented in the workforce, gimme a break.

The media, education, healthcare, bureaucracy, waitress, etc... all of these jobs are predominantly filled with women.

In questions with abortion, one must also answer the question of whom they kill. At what stage this is permissible, and which one is no longer there. We very often start to mention that our society is becoming more cruel every year than it was before. But you need to remember the story.

I dont know where to draw the line exactly, maybe the first 2 weeks after pregnancy is acceptable, but by the 1st month the organs start to form in the fetus.

And certainly most feminists advocate for late term abortion, which would be like 1 week before birth. That is totally murder.

Besides, why do they need abortion at all? C'mon you can buy a pack of condoms for 5 EUR, it's not that fucking hard to be responsible in your sex life.

But no, they are irresponsible idiots, and then they either give birth at which case you will pay for the welfare of the baby, or they will murder them via abortion.

Great, it's a very evil dilemma, and it's a false dichotomy. How about women get more responsible so that they won't have to put people in this position to choose between murder or theft (taxation, welfare).

Fucking imbeciles.

Wow much fake news.
Such alternstive facts.

2370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big ponzi scheme pumps bitcoin. on: March 22, 2017, 10:34:57 PM
Nah. After it collapsing last holiday season way back on 2016 it isn't as big as the same as it used to so it is impossible that it is them that is causing the btc price to pump and dump these days. People like you posting about them only give them recognition and helps them to get more fools to be involved.

You really think that somebody in his own mind gonna spend money there?
Ok so there is nothing to be afraid of?  I just think that this topic must be researched more. As capitalization of our bitcoin is just small ,that everything like this ponzi can afect it.

If we say 50mil people spend just 20 bucks, it's a $ billion in bitcoin already.

Average early salaries of $4000.You mean $4000 per year, right?
Why do you care about some ponzi that will steal a few million USD from the naive and poor people?
A few million dollars won`t pump the bitcoin price.
Ponzi schemes will exist as long as there are stupid people with money.Sad but true.

Well its actually 2500$ per year (2016) - not sure where that 4000 comes from.
I doubt there will be trillions of $ coming from nigera ^^"
Actualy  special to this mmm ponzi psihology, people like to go all-in there.
Aslo a quantity is important not a money amount.
p.s.
this site tells 3600 i rounded up to 4k  OK?

Post author smoking something green

I realy think this could be affecting bitcoin much. But a bigger research is needed to tell extacly. Can you prove that's they are not in a role of afecting price big. No? then ^$$#U&!  Tongue

if it would be 3,6 k but it isnt.
im looking at statista, worldbank, imf, tradingeconomics and even wikipedia.
there was a peak in 2014 at 3,2 k but since 2009 nigera has an average gdp per capite around 2500 $ - before that 2009 nigerias average gpd per capita was (much) less then 1000 $.

there might be 3 billion Naira in bitcoin Smiley
seriously though, your research is pretty questionable.

2372  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MGTOW's among bitcointalkers on: March 21, 2017, 11:27:34 PM
I've been treated shittily by women, and I've been treated just as disgustingly by supposed male friends. I'm equally uninterested in new friendships
Sorry to hear that m8.
So you are Man going his own way after all. This is exactly it. Luck of interest in people. There are many levels of MGTOW, many colour of pills. However in my opinion, it is a gender thing. Think about reasons of your mistreating by males and females. Most of man that hurt you, probably have had a women behind them, they where operating under some form of indirect(?) influence.
It is all very hard to me to put in correct English, as behavioural evolution, political ideology are full of hard concepts. This is why Im linking to those youtube vids.
OP, I'd like to ask how has this helped you in any way? I get that you might feel insecure and vulnerable in a relationship and want to change it, but how building a wall around yourself can help in any way?
Being in defensive from the start is not the way to start a healthy relationship.

There are lot of bitcointalkers like these. Especially the young ones, earning bitcoin is their motivation and girls are not really their thing, they are not nerds but they are weird. Friends that I know using bitcoin, have girlfriends of their own. Saying these, this type of person is more likely the true lovers when they find the right girl, and I am envious with these kind of people because they prioritize their own selves than love, it is quite the opposite to me, and I think it is taking the toll on me.
Being an egoist is really nothing to envy. If your girl's needs are more important to you, you are good the way you are, you just need her to appreciate it. Don't try to change yourself to adapt to society!
This is a very good question coolcoinz.
Just like I said, it was an awakening, I took the pill and all of a sudden I have started to see all the codes. (obvious matrix parabola is obvious) Let's say it made me in to a "badboy". I'm almost immune to females charms, therefore I dont loose cold blood, seeing through woman's deception makes me less of their slave and more desirable as a lover (sex with no strings attached, friends with benefits and so on) Its all very personal, that's how it works for me.

you might want to sell your TV and stop watching hollywood movies  Wink

@topic

gentlemand said everything which is important:

Quote
This isn't a gender thing, it's a human thing. Many humans are incapable of love or deeper thoughts, or more likely aren't actually interested in them and are more interested in their own gratification at the expense of others.

2374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DONALD TRUMP WILL BE AMERICA'S MOST FAMOUS PRESIDENT on: March 21, 2017, 01:03:02 PM
Trump is a good chance for America. He built a multi-billion dollar business with his own labor and intelligence. He is more impressive to me as a businessman, not as a politician.

He started from a loan of $30 million. Right now he is worth some $4.7 billion. This guy for sure knows how to make profit out of a business. And remember, he did it legally and ethically, unlike Hillary Clinton who charges $500,000 per speech.

He was working with the mafia and has hundreds of millions on loans left (i.e. deutsche bank) additionaly to the debts that he never payed....

Why would i feel safe when some sub 60 iq people can legally own guns? :/

@spendulus
Where was that gun show? Laws differ from state to state.
And was it a private selling or from a gun business?
Because the latter doesnt need to do a background check for sure.

I think this explains the problem very well

Wrong move for both counties. So stupid situation for both of them teally...

OK..... the drama is over. The tensions were artificially created by the Dutch ruling party VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy), so that they could defeat Wilder's PVV in the elections. Now the elections are over, and the VVD will apologize to Erdogan.

^^^
Wilders always said mudslimes are the worst and he wanted to ban them+islam as a whole.
VVD did exactly what wilders wanted them to do lols.

Reality is that he lost because of trump.
He is the dutch trump just with less trumpconomics but more muslim hate.
People see the first 2 months of trump and it was enough.

Btw the greens increased their seat in the parlament by 400%. They probaly will replace wilders protest party soon.
2377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trumps Travel Ban? (Round 2) on: March 20, 2017, 03:03:15 PM
The travel ban will not work at all, The best option is to stop the inflow of these immigrants from coming is at the Embassies, Its a waste of time trying to ban them with executives orders.

The travel ban will not work, because the corrupt judges appointed by the Democrats are hell bent on blocking any legislation which will make the United States safer from Islamic terrorist attacks. Unless these biased judges are thrown out, democracy will be a joke in the US.

I think he should replace most of the pro Liberal judges, the one he feel will vote against him, He already sacked some of the judges why should he not just continue.

Replacing the judges is not that easy. If I am not wrong, in the US the judges are appointed for life. Their post will become vacant only if they die, or if they get impeached. And the latter option is extremely difficult.

Amen. Leave these guys be. If Trump can get elected and nit get impeached in the face of lunacy, surely studied legal professionals should get their 'day in court' (see what I did there?) Besides, do you really want the executive branch to be able to dismiss members of the judicial branch at will? Wouldn't that be a gross violation of separation of powers, kinda like what would have actually happened if Obama had tapped Trump's phone (see what I did there as well?l

Well..... that is the point. There must be a separation of powers. The judiciary must mind their own business and they should not interfere in issues such as immigration. Policies regarding immigration must be left to the government. It is the judiciary, which is overstepping here.

Nice alternative definition of seperation of power.
