A very exciting day is ending now and AIEVE's prediction for ETH and DASH had an error less then 1,5%. LTC with 3% is still fine for her young age. Smiley

Here are AIEVE's new predictions, but I also updated in OP:

Friday 08.12.2017:

LTC 08.12.2017 23:59:59 Price: 98,28 $DASH 08.12.2017 23:59:59 Price: 698,17 $ETH 08.12.2017 23:59:59 Price: 436.62 $

After a very volatile day this is AIEVE's prediction for the next day, let us see if she could learn from her mistakes Smiley

Ps:

My personal Prediction will be 19.000 $ / btc - we will reach 20.000$ but then a pull back because people will take profit!  Wink

So will we be able to use this AI?

Yes of course - it would be pretty mean to post it here and not let you guys use it in the end or? Wink

We plan to release the AI for commercial use in 2018!

The ultimate goal of our project is to stabilize the volatility of the market through new saving mechanisms.
Could you elaborate on this?

Hello Labrader,

the volatality in the crypto markets is mainly because of the lack of liquidity and of the price discovery of a completely new asset class e.g. lack of information about the fundamentals.

In our todays digital world - especially crypto - the volume of data blasts away every human understanding and even the most recognized experts have difficulties to keep up with the newest developments.
This is where the power of Big Data Analysis and Automatic Machine Learning comes into play - it discovers the best possible projects based on all global available data and ever evolving algorithmic market models and could put most needed liquidity in exact such projects.

One example could be:

In the future there will be rumours of china banning the private mining of Bitcoins while nationalizing every ASIC producer and mining farms.
The whole world knows it is real (AP fake tweet sends DOW into free fall) except that it is fake.
AIEVE's Big Data Analysis and Automatic Machine learning could forecast a mega dump and recovery of the price because AIEVE knows the news are fake and could step in to lessen the volatality while profiting.

The ultimate goal of our project is to stabilize the volatility of the market through new saving mechanisms.
AIEVE should not be solely though of as a classical trading tool (Wall Street like trading algorithms) but as a solution for the people to secure and bring confidence into the crypto and bitcoin ecosystem.
If everybody would be using an advanced AI to very exactly predict the market, what would the point of trading be? IMHO, obiously you would need LOW adoption for your tool to make it valuable.

Everybody knowing exactly what the market looks like tomorrow makes for no market at all: the definition of a market is to exchange something of different value for the participants. Not something of equal value.

I mean, the ideea is very cool, but you should keep it secret if you actually plan to use the bot/ai for something.

This is already reality in classical stocks.
Wall Street companies are running super computers for market prediction algorithms and these are fighting over profits with each other - for years already.
The future is not set in stone, it is also ever evolving based on every market (or market relating) participants decision and exactly this is the main problem we humans face: hugely increasing data volumes which nowadays can only be analysed by computer software.

So i believe like everyone is talking about AI becoming medical or legal advisers, it is inevitable that we soon will have AI based financial advisers.

NASA logo barf bag ready

The reason you might want a barf bag is that In-Q-Tel was the one buying up all the coins when they were $1, so purchasing bitcoin higher is essentially contributing money to the CIA.  If you think I'm kidding, no.  The only question is how many coins they control which were bought at next to nothing.

evidence or fuck off

This is not new information.

IDK about In-Q-Tel buying it all up, but I do know the various three letter agencies were mining BTC (and I would assume the various other CCs as well) in the beginning. To the effect of multiple wallets with thousands of coins each.

pics or it didnt happen  Lips sealed

there is a high chance that they own bitcoin too, but how much and if they created it will not be known in the near future.

...roach, i've been on this forum since 2011 just after the crash from 30 bucks. iam not familiar with this information. therefore, could you please provide informational links so i may educate myself?

Someone has probably already posted wallets to watch on this forum to track the coins (unless it was deleted for some reason or they were mixed already).  I'm not making it up.  I'm sure people like Theymos know about it already too.  The speculation section has always been void of information for a long time, but I thought most people who have been in bitcoin for several years already knew about it.

well we know that the CIA had their eyes on BTC really early on - they invited GA for an interview in june 2011...

What gets me is we all know automation is coming, but so few people put any effort at all into figuring out how it works and how they could improve their jobs and wages with it.

many people will lose their jobs because of automation and that will be a big problem.

Not entirely true. Automation also creates loads of jobs. It requires technical innovation, designers, programmers, builders ect.. Why would we 'humans' perform hard labor if we can program and build machines to do it for us? We need to keep evolving  Grin

I'd rather have more machines do labor for us so others can focus on taking care of our elder people or other stuff that matters more.
The people who take care of the elders are called "children". And we haven't had enough of them for the past 30 years.

It could easily be argued that the pension old people get should be proportional to the number of kids they sired, and possibly grandkids as well. If we have to have a socialist state, that is.

but then we have sub saharan population problems everywhere
No, we have sophists like you unable to make a living. And therefore dying. Thus making the world a better place.

P.S.
Prices on the Korean exchanges are approaching $20,000.

just do weekly/4 day polls please.

we are trying to go parabolic right now...

trying? THIS is trying? i think we got there.

Dear OP, We will get chance to predict the price daily and may earn a reward if we can preditct it correctly ?? If it is, we will be more than happy. Will do our own research and will try to win a reward.
By the way For December 07, 2017, I think BTC price will be upto $15300. There will be a minor correction.

How do you announce the winner ?

There are daily predictions, but the winners will be choosen from the people with the 10 best predictions (least error averaged over the 10 best predictions)!
So joining earlier gives you more chances to have a good prediction Wink

I think BTC will go down for sure in the midterm - people will want to take profit.

We will announce the winner in this thread after the challenge is done Smiley

Thanks for explaining! Wink

interesting contest, are we supposed to post daily predictions here, or is there a spreadsheet or via direct message ?..

Please post your predictions here and do not edit the prediction post - else it wont be counted!

What is a Human body without a Soul -   likely something artificial / impostor / fake

With USD$ as fiat as it may be....is represents United States of America and its Economy / its Government
Sames with all other paper Currencies...they represent something.

Metals even have some industrial value

What exactly does BITCOIN REPRESENT or WHO or WHAT?

I'm asking - because I still can't understand what or who BITCOIN represents.   I only speculate that during this BITCOIN RUSH..and someone  or some state is accumulating metals or other objects of real value to later use and back up BITCOIN....

Sorry for my crazy inquiry.

Not crazy at all.  FWIW, here is my response, quite imperfect and simplified:

Every piece of Bitcoin "owned" represents that you have paid for a piece of (more accurately: it's on the decentralized ledger Blockchain) of ENERGY and WORK having been done -- solving a math problem.  BTC is worth something because many, many people are OK with it as a somewhat Store of Value and Medium of Exchange (thus fulfilling to one degree or other TWO of the three most famous properties of "money" [the other being Unit of Account]), you can buy gold on the Internet with Bitcoin.  I have done it several times.

All the cryptocurrencies more or less share the above characteristics.

I own BTC and precious metals (mostly gold, a fair amount of platinum and tiny amounts of silver & palladium).  More $-value of what I hold is in the metals vs. BTC.

As BTC price has been rocketing upwards, I have been SELLING BTC and buying gold.  When BTC is over 1.00% of my net, I sell some for gold.

y2y bitcoin went over x20 - you might want to change your investment strategy on a commodity like bitcoin with such a huge upside.

One thing I can not understand, in many projects they write that they are struggling with volotility, but go to the market and their coins start trading very volotile. And why fight it? It is necessary to earn on it.

I'm not sure if i understand your question but you are correct that market movements (=volatality) is a result of changes in supply/demand, technical fundamentals, politics etc. and are normal.

This is where project Peculium comes into play:

AIEVE combines the power of Big Data Analysis (NLP of tweets, feeds, news, online research papers etc) and Automatic Machine Learning (adapting to new situations) to create the best possible predictive analytics AI for the crypto markets!  Wink

Know when volatality has a high chance to happen before it happens!
1437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 07, 2017, 04:29:23 PM
Lol, what a fucking scam.  The price is $15k on bitstamp yet you see some mysterious marginal buyer on coinbase buy 30 coins at $17.5k, and then it will happen again a minute later.  Nobody who is trying to make money does such idiotic bullshit.  When you see marginal buyers who do not care at all whether they make or lose money, or what the price is at all, while the same people simultaneously naked short metals when they're already at cost of production (so there is no money to be made by doing so, only money to lose), the market is basically an Enron fraud about to blow up.
It's called arbitrage.

Uh no, that would be called reverse arbitrage, aka setting money on fire on purpose.  This is why Coinbase added their leverage instruments for so called "institutional clients", so the bankers can come in and manipulate price, and it's clear they're doing it because they're putting in orders at the margin where they do not care about making or losing money, only moving the price to a target they desire.
