2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 18, 2021, 01:04:41 PM
In the women's competition, we haven't had a tennis player for a long time who would dominate like Serena did a few years ago.
Osaka came closest to Serena but she is obviously not yet psychologically at the required level and for this reason she withdrew from the GS competition in Paris.
If she overcomes these problems, she will be the new Serena, the new great champion.

Yes,,, Osaka is the closes to Serena and the same type of physicality (even with her size you think she is a bit weak but she has a power in her arms like Serena).

Like you said she is just having to adjust psychology and this happens with all young players. I really want her to become a great:)

@leea-1334 I’m also gutted to see him leave, and in my personal opinion if Real doesn’t buy any big player now Perez position will be under scrutiny. Also if Perez decides to bring Bale back, that’ll be the last straw and I expect fans to protest aggressively against him.

He said he would be back too and we all know I guess what that means,,, that he will be running for President;) And for me personally, I hope they take Gareth Bale back. He was okay with us at Spurs for the loan and now maybe his form at EURO means something more for his price but I do want to keep Son and Kane,,, but of course without a manager yet to come (and I believe the rumor now is Gattusso) I fear for our future:)
2363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Michael saylor and his bags on: June 18, 2021, 09:57:49 AM
This was a company so for sure they bought it and put it in multisig accounts maybe even under custody of some insurance backed company like Bitgo.
Is it hard to read a few posts and find out how MicroStrategy buys BTC - rather than continue to speculate and copy other people's answers? We know the way he buys, we know when he will buy approximately (there is always an announcement), but that doesn't help us at all because the way he buys never affects the price.

I am sorry if you think I copied other people's answers?

I read the story, on Financial Times, but it never gave any of those information so my first response was to title of thread saying "his bags" which clearly it could not have been. My second response I do see now that you answered about Coinbase being the ones buying for them. My bad for missing that.
2364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This time when bear market comes on: June 18, 2021, 09:36:01 AM
Watch the market? No:) Just buy and hodl and sleep and use and wake up and check when Google screams ATH:)

Good strategy than stress yourself in each market movements, if you have a good target.

Buy your asset from your desire entry and set your sell orders or store ypur assets to your safe wallet, pressure is not that much if you have plans with your investment, the cycle will just doing it's job so better to do yours too. More positive outcome to those who extend their patience and not to let emotions to lead them with bad decisions.

For sure having a target helps but I have a more like look and see thing,,, I have a very high price target that is so far away from achieving but since I do not mind holding super long term (I see it as savings) I do not mind. The other target could be in timeframe. Set a multiyear one and then check back when it is over and decide to liquidate or adjust:)
2365  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 18, 2021, 09:03:13 AM
My God, Turkey became horrible this tournament. Does anyone know what happened to them? I mean they beat France to get here, they were second in that group with very little point difference to France, almost beat them twice and took the first place, then they played Netherlands and Norway and beat them both and beat them very easily as well, not like they beat them by chance, it was a very obvious domination for both games.

And now I look at them and yeah maybe I understand Italy because they won like 500 games in a row and all, but if you can beat France/Netherlands/Norway then you have a shot against Italy as well I don't care, however even if you lose that, wales? Really? Like... it is gosh darn Wales for Christ sake, how could you lose to them if you were capable of beating other teams? I have lost a quite good amount of money on that game as you may have imagined Cheesy

But also maybe we can give credit to the teams that beat them? Italy was a fantastic team and Wales also played to their best effort and showed why they qualified for EURO finals.

Turkey of course also played badly but I think sometimes we have to also recognize the progress of Wales and other "upset" teams. Turkey now need to win and hope they get best 3rd place.
2366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 18, 2021, 07:41:58 AM
Maybe it was a platform malfunction. Maybe it was a pure scam. Maybe OP just did not know how to use stop loss or set it wrongly.
But almost 90% of traders are sharing like they are not successful in crypto trading so the most common reason must be they are unable to tackle the fluctuations of crypto markets. It means they must need to improve their technical skills or they must need to switch over to some other opportunity.

Yes I do know that. It is statistically proven. But in OP's case he actually never explained what happened and I think part of a good trader's responsibility is to check that the site he is using is legit. Software is good,,, does not cheat you,,, does not give false order filling on market condition that actually did not happen.
2367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fear : The Debacle of a Trader on: June 18, 2021, 05:53:13 AM
A simple technique to overcome the fear factor is, just gaining experience on every trading scenario. When you are getting practice to different market conditions then you will slowly become brave against market which may help to get rid of all the fears of trading. Demo accounts must be playing vital role in gaining experience but most people never consider it and directly get into live markets.

That does not sound like technique,,, it just sounds like gaining experience;) And experience in crypto definitely needs to have the full cycle. From the early days of rally to the super bull run, and then the following two or three years of extreme crypto winter.

And it needs to be active in all those phases of the cycle.
2368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PANCAKE (CAKE) will reach $100. My own goal, NFA on: June 18, 2021, 05:21:59 AM
I just checked and it seems CAKE did really well near the ETH/BTC peak,,, and actually unlike many other deficoins I see it is maintaining the same level as BTC and ETH, both just above 50% of the ATH.

I think hard to see $100 now, first it needs to make new ATH:)
2369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought £700 worth of a cryptocurrency I don't know much about, is this moonshot? on: June 18, 2021, 05:00:11 AM
I have never heard of this unfortunately,,, and of course I do not keep up in these deficoins at all so I would never have heard of even a good project if it came out.

Be wary even yesterday supposedly stable and secure defi coin went to zero. Rug pulls all over the place and from a glance this looks exactly no different from all other defi projects. Put money in. Earn APY. Where is the value of that?
2370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $9 Billion worth trades got liquidated in last 24 hours. on: June 17, 2021, 03:56:59 PM
As I said using leverage requires people who really have knowledge and experience, meaning they can manage the use of leverage properly.
While beginners will be more emotionally affected when trading with leverage, which ultimately makes their capital run out. Therefore, for beginners,
I recommend mastering spot trading first before deciding to use leverage, which is not as easy as we think.

Also what beginners hardly realize is almost nobody checks for leveraged trading records. I have seen them and they are extemely tight. Very low percent of capital,,, many many trades but also very close stop losses, and very moderate takes on profit exit. People make a lot of mistakes to ride out their gains by a lot and then suddenly a few non-stoploss trades can completely wipe you out.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 17, 2021, 03:05:03 PM
Felix will be facing Giron next, who beat J Struff. So I think this will be a good match. Giron also beat a good player in Struff and we can call it an upset. But I think with Felix win against Federer, he will beat Giron here.

We also have Zverev vs Humbert, I have Zverev winning in 2 straight sets.

So two big upset winners coming to face each other, the odds should be with Felix I guess, money on Felix + Zverev straight sets maybe the "safe" option,,, but I think I stay off betting on this tourney, did not do well in the last one. Wimbledon towards the finals maybe is better picking if we get another crazy outing from Djokovic:)
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi made simple. WhenMoon in purely understandably DeFi on: June 17, 2021, 01:59:46 PM
When Moon Token is specifically dedicated to provide a sustainable return by only holding a reasonable amount of tokens. Early investors will see the benefit of receiving almost ( sometimes more ) the same amount of their invested capital back in returns along with the increased token value.

More than 51% of the Supply is locked in AREA-51. All income via interest & transaction is funneled back directly to the core.

I have learned already that supply locked does not mean much if somebody has a backdoor to all these smart contracts in defi,,, and no, audited by certik does not mean much in the space when almost all high profile backdoor liquidity draining was actually having their contracts audited by certik:) How is WhenMoon different?
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 17, 2021, 01:17:16 PM
Today when I open my eye and check instagram news see Sergio Ramos announce to leave Real Madrid after 12 years, very bad and sad hear this information about Ramos will left Real Madrid, always my favorite team never give applause and more appreciated for legendary player who give many trophy for team, from Raul Gonzalez, Iker Casilas until Sergio Ramos always neve give more applause by Madrid management.

This is the biggest news of the week for me,,, not Morata moving or Sancho rumors but this. I do not follow much Spanish football but everybody knows the name of this guy, either for national team or Real Madrid. Losing their king Zidane and now their prince Ramos. I guess it is a total new era for them now.
2374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Michael saylor and his bags on: June 17, 2021, 11:04:48 AM
The only way to find it is ask his bitcoin address. Obviously you can't know how and when he will buy the bitcoin. But if he feel bitcoin is dropped lot from his buying price, he will announce it on public if he already bought bitcoin to hope it pump. Just like he did when bitcoin dropped below $40,000 back then

I do not think it would be in one bag and in his personal wallet,,, This was a company so for sure they bought it and put it in multisig accounts maybe even under custody of some insurance backed company like Bitgo. Saylor is one man and we all remember what supposedly happened when 1 man died and Quadriga exchange lost everything right?
2375  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best way to send BTC? on: June 17, 2021, 09:59:12 AM
Agree,,, best way is to send from Electrum first to Coinbase, then take everything out. Coinbase fee is flat and you have to pay it once anyway so just make it the last transaction.

If you send to Electrum, you end up paying more because additional input into your wallet means bigger tx size.
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This time when bear market comes on: June 17, 2021, 09:26:47 AM
Hopefully, the price now is the next lowest price or the bottom price so the price will have a chance to increase. But some people out there will not be happy to see the price now because maybe they do not buy bitcoin at below $39k Grin

Sometimes, watch the market will give us an idea to know when to enter the market.

There will always be more unhappy people than happy in any point of the market:) Even during an ATH there will be loads of unhappy people who sold too early OR who did not as you say get in in time.

Watch the market? No:) Just buy and hodl and sleep and use and wake up and check when Google screams ATH:)
2377  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io- Club House- The best EURO 2021 promotions around!!🚀 on: June 17, 2021, 09:04:15 AM
Oh I did not see the Behind the Bet promo yesterday,,, checked in so quickly but did not see anything. How many of us got burned by Wales yesterday?Wink We should have seen it coming though but wow I think even Wales themselves did not see it coming:)

I take today the Special Ukraine, Netherlands, Belgium to win. Poor Denmark lost their best player:(
2378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: June 17, 2021, 08:03:21 AM
My idea is if we hold some coins it should be linked with a good project. Unless it will be useless keep holding for 5 years. If you have no time to analyze what are the  good projects just try to keep holding around first 10 coins on the coinmarketcap. As example if someone hold 1 Eth since 2018 to 2021 it can be got more than 3000$. So the conclusion is you need to invest in a good coin.

Unfortunately if people are waiting for profits then it is market price of the token that they care about,,, and we all know in crypto good projects hardly and rarely translate into token price. At least,,, not for the few years when starting out (look at BNB).

And worse, many good projects end up just ignoring the token eventually. Great products but no adoption:)
2379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 17, 2021, 07:31:57 AM
First, did you find out why you lost? Yes? No? If you found out why you lost then you're a step ahead to achieving success but if you didn't, it simply means you've to devout more time to learning. Trading is a profession and must be handled like every other profession that demands time and practice like medicine, law, engineering, teaching, journalism etc. Ironically, people hop into trading without getting themselves armed with the least knowledge of it. Going into trading without the required skills set is akin to gambling, simple and short.

Good point actually. We all jumped to conclusions about why he lost,,, assuming that it was like all of us in our first time and playing to emotions to gamble away everything.

But there could be other reasons. Maybe it was a platform malfunction. Maybe it was a pure scam. Maybe OP just did not know how to use stop loss or set it wrongly.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LatticeX Foundation launches Lumino ceremony, a 60-day Multi-Party Computation on: June 17, 2021, 07:08:38 AM
So let me get this straight,,, anybody can join this just by running a machine you will provide? And we do not need any additional technical knowledge to operate the thing?

Then why would you need people to apply for why not just distribute it for free on Twitter or something? Maybe I do not understand it well enough:)
