2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Good Altcoins Fail on: November 28, 2016, 07:08:31 PM
Why do you think good altcoins fail to keep going?   It seems there are some that are good and people collectively have put in tens of thousands of hours supporting, but the team decides to give up midway.

I think most of the new altcoins created just to earn on pump and dump strategy so no wonder they disappear afterwards. So the team you are talking about probably decides to give up midway because they already earned what they wanted.

Of course not all of them are like this. There are at least several established altcoins such as Dash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and some others.

2384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: November 23, 2016, 05:02:38 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Fortunately Bitcoin is such a thing which would be very difficult to ban. it is possible for a government to forbid exchanges but they will never manage to control whether people having Bitcoin or not. Also you not necessarily need an exchange to sell your coins if you need cash. You can sell them to people you know personally or to a friend of a friend.
2385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying House with bitcoin from USA on: November 16, 2016, 04:52:40 PM
Anyone can buy a house in the US, but that may change your right to a visa. You go there with a tourist visa, you buy a house and suddenly you're not a tourist any longer. It's OK if you're over 50, as they will think it's a second home, but you have to be cautious.

But isn't buying a house involves a lot of paper work and then they will see that you are not a citizen and thus have no right to buy a house in the USA? I mean I don't know for sure about the USA but where I live it's impossible to legally buy a house if you are not a citizen.

Guys I think it's obviously that Clinton wins the elections. The question is will be the Trump supporters very unhappy in the long run? Will they regret that they live in the USA? I think the answer is NO. I think that Hillary will be a good president for most of the Americans.

I personally know a fimily which pays half of their rent with Bitcoins they earn one way or another on the Inernet. So Bitcoin affects their life a lot. For me it is not so unfortunately, I'm only starting with BTC and hopefully I will succeed in the future.

2391  Economy / Economics / Re: Have $20 worth of bitcoin, how to earn more with it? on: November 04, 2016, 12:22:18 PM

Trading would be great if you're really know it's basics. Before you invest your bitcoins make sure to ask favor to some experts or read a good thread for trading then once you're equipped then try to invest your bitcoins little by little.

Yeah, investing little by little is what you should do when trading without experience. A friend of mine lost 0.5 BTC in one day because he risked it all at once. He bought a new altcoin at 50k sats and then almost in no time the price was less than 20k, he waited couple of hours hoping the price will rise, but the price dropped even more to less than 2k sats.

Bitcoin Price $800 Imminent; Boosted by China Capital Outflows

Bitcoin has been going strong since the past few weeks. The cryptocurrency which was priced at around $640 in mid-October has surged past the $700 mark and now stands at $725, after falling to $690 briefly over the weekend. At the current pace, the price of Bitcoin reaching $800 is imminent.

I wish that was true, but unfortunately the price has dropped to $705 and there are no signs for it to rise to $800 in the nearest future. However I do agree that the price of Bitcoin reaching $800 is imminent, only it will happen not so fast, maybe in 6 months or so.

2395  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: November 03, 2016, 02:08:57 PM
To manage your money properly it is very useful to create a list of the expenses you should do anyway: like paying bills, buying food, clothes etc. This should be done every month and after you substracted from the total amount you earn per month all those expenses you can plan your activity of leisure.
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: November 03, 2016, 01:25:21 PM
This is still the most common mistake among newbies. People buy their bitcoins on coinbase, circle, or any of those sites, and they almost never do any other research than that, they think they are set and it's safe to leave the coins on there. Those people will learn the hard way.

Yeah, but sometimes it's hard to expect that someone as big and reputable as MtGox was will quit on you.

But of course no one should keep all their coins on an exchange. In fact I think not many people do that, but they still lose large amounts even if that was not all they had.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I hope i don't regret on doing this action on: November 03, 2016, 01:19:07 PM
right now, i am staying away from altcoin markets since it has a tendency towards going down. and as you can see all the altcoins are in red right now and everyone is cashing out to go back to bitcoin.

this is temporary though, it will change as soon as bitcoin slows down.

Bought back 7k psb at 6.8k satoshi
Hold and hold and i sold all the psb for 0.17 btc at price of 2.3k satoshi

this is a huge loss (-66%) and you should never hold that long and sell on a lot higher price with a lot smaller loss.

I agree. When trading altcoins even minutes matter sometimes let alone hours. I think the strategy should be like this: if you can sell with over 20% profit - do it right now.
2398  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is the most admirable leader that can change the world? on: November 03, 2016, 01:10:06 PM
I can't choose anyone from that list. I'm wondering why you have not included Kim Jong-un in the list?  Smiley

If seriously I think no leader can change the world for better, only people if they have good will can.
2399  Economy / Economics / Re: Paying taxes on forum? on: November 03, 2016, 12:57:17 PM
Do you think that people who offer some services here on forum and make money from it (like exchangin Bitcoin, offering lending services, web design, translations etc.) are also obliged to report that to their local authorities and pay tax?

The laws are different from country to country, so it's hard to say whether should report to authorities or not, but I think if they have very small profit compared to what rich people have in their countries it would be anfair to demand from them paying taxes.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best price to enter zcash? on: November 03, 2016, 11:49:05 AM
50.000 sat it's a good price to start thinking about it

Yeah, I think it's a reasonable price, but I heard that they are planning to reach up to 0.6 BTC which sounds like a nonsence to me. I even saw an article on coindesk I think where they were saying about 1.5 BTC for ZEC.

And here are rates which I can't comprehend:

https://www.cryptonator.com/rates/ZEC-BTC

Are people really buying with that price?
