1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone won freebitco.in lottery already? on: June 23, 2017, 01:19:52 PM
Yes they won into freebitcoin lottery but the amount is too cheap the 10 place I get. That's why I stop to buy ticket because I used many bitcoin to buy ticket but I won only the 10 place.

Taking the 10th place right now gives you 0.00380104 BTC or $10+ which I think is not that bad, but that depends of course on how much you spent on the tickets. If you buy them for the money you get from free rolls there then I think you shouldn't complain.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 23, 2017, 01:12:36 PM

Who's saying that? I don't have time to listen to 30 minutes yabbering from no-one-knows-who.

Banks are using or at least experimenting with Ripple, that's a fact. If it wasn't the case they would edit the article in Wikipedia:

1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: June 23, 2017, 12:57:05 PM

Also another one. Is the logo of the size it is shown or it it a bit smaller? I think it should a bit smaller to look nicer when weared.

It's Polyester, Modal Smiley
It's that size, however, I can resize it a bit I guess

Thanks for your reply! I like the Torcoin t-shirt very much and I will buy one for 10 TOR/ free shipping if that's still possible.  Smiley

To which address I have to send 10 TOR?

Thanks!  Smiley
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1000 where to invest on: June 22, 2017, 06:36:55 PM
My vote went for the Ethereum. This coin has shown such a big rise lately that I don't know to which other coin's rise it can be compared. Although it was over $400 ten days ago and now it might look like that was the coin's peak from where it will fall, I think ETH has bigger potential and what we'll see in the future will be much higher than $400 .
1605  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 on: June 22, 2017, 05:45:59 PM
I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 so that I can sell my Bitcoins, but seems as if it doesn't want to reach that value anytime soon. SHould I sell with the current amount? Undecided

I don't know why is it in the Altcoin Discussion, but anyway you shouldn't sell your BTC because it doesn't look like the price is going to fall in the future. And why are you waiting for the $3k to sell? At what price have you bought it? If you need money then sell a part of what you have but you should never sell all your bitcoins.
1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ SHIFT ] Price Speculation on: June 22, 2017, 05:29:32 PM
A solid $2 dollars soon... and if Polo listing happen, a solid $5 dollar  Cool

You were right on $2, so probably you are right on the other prediction too. But so far SHIFT is listed on only two markets. Hopefully Polo will list it soon because it looks like a promissing project especially if the Phantom app will be released.
1607  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: June 22, 2017, 03:55:24 PM
Nope, it wouldn't take a whole lot to get the numbers to start going down (compared to other currencies).

Depends on the kind of currencies. It's a known fact that in some unstable countries their currencies go almost to nothing in a matter of weeks. But of course currencies like EUR, GBP, USD, CHF are very strong and they will never become nothing in a short period of time. But on the other hand can bitcoin go to zero in a matter of say weeks? I don't think so. So maybe bitcoin is not the strongest currency in the world but it is definitely among the strongest.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: June 22, 2017, 03:24:33 PM
i know most of us knew about martingale and we do use that in order to gain profits but we also aware that this same system is not safe in a long term period as we will be caught out of the blue and our winning streak will start to change up, do you have any settings of strategy to make it much worthy to use?

So for me, I believe in order to make a martingle system work you need to have a huge starting bankroll. It will not work if you have a small bankroll because once it hit a loss it will eventually loose all your winnings and your starting money.

Share it here if you have something there Cheesy

They say you have to have a very large starting bankroll to win with martingale, but few people realize how big it should actually be.

Say you have 1 BTC and you want to play martingale on a dice site. You are a wise person so you start with 10 satoshi base bet playing with 50% win chance. Playing in that manner you'll be winning from 30k to 70k sats per hour depending on the speed of bets. You might think that's not bad, but remember that you are risking 1 BTC for that. To lose that 1 BTC you just need 23 reds in a row and I heard 25 reds in a row happen when you play with 50% win chance.
1609  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 22, 2017, 10:26:43 AM
Judging from the local posts I read everywhere, I think it is fair to assume that bitcoin, in a way or another, has helped lessen unemployment, either directly or indirectly, especially those from places where real full time jobs are hard to come by, and every dollar means a lot already.

I agree, especially when you simply have no time for a full time job becauase you study in a University. And I disagree with those saying that bitcoin just takes jobs from one part of people and gives them to another. You can say something like that about any job providing business. Say a company from the UK builds a clothing factory in Vietnam thus providing Vietnamese with jobs, but some might say that's a job stealing from the UK's workers.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 22, 2017, 10:16:10 AM
Yes, the best lesson you learned from gambling is to be satisfied with what you earned and that your luck is the one who gives you a chance to win a lot.
Yes you are right, gambling teaches us to always be grateful for what we have, and do not too often want more. Sometimes we have trouble controlling ourselves when we want something more than what we have. Self-control difficulties always lead us to bad things.

Well, basically we should be grateful for what we have. Gambling is not actually giving us a lesson to remain thankful, but instead gives us a lesson to keep striving in every thing we got. If we don't get a victory right now so we should be confident and believe that later on we will get a huge profit, and it must be believed and always work hard. Gambling has only a simple formula that is self control

Do not do that, do not think that way. That's exactly how you lose your self-control and gamble until you lose everything. Gamlbing is not some job where the more you work the more you get from it, gambling works as the opposite in most cases.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: June 22, 2017, 10:03:50 AM
Although it looks like it is pointless to create such casino, with 0% Edge, I think apart from what I mentioned before, earning money from ads on the site, there is another possibility for such site to be created. Imagine you are a poker player and you have many friends who are like you. You are fed up with giving your money to poker sites and you create a site of your own, for you and for your friends to play.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone won freebitco.in lottery already? on: June 22, 2017, 09:46:20 AM
You are asking about the lottery winner.
Yes, there are some lottery winner of freebitco.in I found on this forum.

On May 21: One Sr. Member(tomos81) posted about his lottery win. He has got the 7th prize and the amount was 4M+ satoshi.
You can check it here:: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.msg19129881#msg19129881

On May 22: Seeing tomos81 post one Hero Member(BTCforJoe) of this forum said that he won the third price in lottery a long time ago.
You can check his post here:: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.msg19133195#msg19133195

On May 30: One Legendary Member(BitcoinBarrel) of this forum told that he also won the lottery at past. He won the 2nd price and it was around 1.4 btc.
You can check it here:: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg19280603#msg19280603

On June 15: One newbie member(snoop23491) of this forum said that he won the first prize in lottery and he also give a screenshot proof of his email sent by the freebitco.in site. He won 2.44+ btc. Freebitco.in admin(wetsuit) also give him 0.005 btc bonus for posting his lottery win.
You can check it here:: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg19589625#msg19589625

I think if you search/read all the replays on those threads you may found some more winner.

I think there are a lot of silent lottery winner on this forum who doesn't know about these thread or not willing to share their wins. Freebitco.in is the legendary faucet of bitcoin world. So I don't think they do something wrong/false proof on their site. There is only one problem with the high house edge(5%) of their hi-lo game.

Wow, that's nice! Congrats to the winners! Those are big prizes, 1.4 btc and 2.44 btc. Hopefully the winners didn't lose it playing the hi-lo game there.  Smiley Anyway, that's great that it's possible to win such big prizes on freebitco.in lottery.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 22, 2017, 09:38:09 AM

There is also nothing unique in your arguments. Move on. People see ur shitshow Smiley
Im buying more   $XRP
Hmmm, Could you, please, explain your baseless aggression?
For me it looks like Ripple hired a bunch of trolls who advocate here like insane ones...

I wasn't hired by the Ripple team but I do believe this coin has a great future ahead mostly because reputable banks are adopting it. I know some people laugh about that like it has nothing to do with reality but they wrong, it is the reality and you don't have to trust my words, do research youself.

1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 19, 2017, 06:33:11 PM
Bitcoin is a blessing to some of us here. We can testify, how since the beginning of this year that, we have make alot of return on our investment in bitcoin. I foreseeing bitcoin touching $4,000 before the end of October this year. Hope you join us in this less risk investment.

If you ask me, I think bitcoin has the least risk of any investment possible. Pity most people have no idea about that and invest their money in much more risky enterprises. I agree with you that $4,000 before the end of October is quite possible.
1616  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 19, 2017, 08:59:13 AM
in my opinion , yes theres many people who resigned to their job , just to have time for bitcoin , because its more easy to earn money , and you dont need to hassle , you just have to post , reply , and apply , and most important is patience

From your post it looks like you are talking about working on signature campaigns. People living in rich countries say that's not enough money to work for, but I disagree. The opportunity to earn additional $20-$25 per week is a great support for many around the world including me.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 19, 2017, 08:42:30 AM
If you lose a lot thats the time you only realize that gambling is not good and it only takes away your money and possession. Being broke in gambling affects human behavior, family relations and spiritual being.

That's true, but still gambling can teach you lessons as this topic suggests. Yes it hurts to lose your money but otherwise how can you learn a lesson? Usually we don't listen to others until we experience something by ourselves.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predict the date for the 'Flippening' - on: June 19, 2017, 08:33:28 AM
Well surely it wasn't easy to comprehend for me but what I understand is that you think Ethereum has much bigger potential than bitcoin, because BTC is only a currency and ETH is many things and only lastly a currency.

But why do you say that if I invest in bitcoin I "will lose a shitload of value as ETH continues to rise like crazy"? Maybe people who invest in ETH will earn more, that's possible, but I think bitcoiners will be in profit too.

Bitcoin has been cripple by lunatics who are trying to take over.  It will operate as a 'store of value' (just like gold) for some time.  But as more and more systems are deployed on the Ethereum platform, people will continue to abandon bitcoin - even for the only good function for Bitcoin - store of value.

The funny thing is everyone keeps saying bitcoin is good because of good merchant adoption and use as currency.  Use as currency is near zero. >$5 in transaction fees means for purchases less than $100 it is horrible.  Even if the fees were 0, the manner of paying via QR has very low adoption.  Bitcoin is a horrible currency.  Currency is the very dumbest of all the applications that can be built onto a blockchain.  Currency can easily be built onto Ethereum too.  But nobody gives a shit about that, they are working on important stuff instead.

That's not true. Right now you can pay 74,580 satoshis and have your transaction confirmed in 30 minutes. And 74,580 satoshis is less than $2 now. I agree that it is still a lot when you want to transfer less than $50.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: June 19, 2017, 08:09:27 AM
~

But running a site without house edge you can earn on placing ads from other gambling sites if your site becomes popular. PVP casino without any house edge would be a popular site among gamblers because many of them think that it is the house edge what beats them.
What "ad" has to do with house edge?

A gambling site can earn money either from the house edge or form the ads placed on it. And I disagree with above comments that the money from placing ads wouldn't be sufficient to maintain a gambling site. Dependening on the popularity of a site the price for placing ads may vary.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone won freebitco.in lottery already? on: June 19, 2017, 07:59:26 AM
I used to try once a day for about a month and I never ended up winning one of the top 3 prices.

Anyway if you calculate your average payout , you can see that you get less then a cent for each time u claim the facuet with is very bad and doesn't worth the time you put into it.

The minimum reward on freebitco.in is exactly $0.002 always, so yeah it is less than one cent, 5 times less actually. But nevertheless it's one of the best paying faucets around. But that's not what this topic is about. You are talking about FREE BTC where the biggest prize is $200 and in the LOTTERY the biggest prize right now for example is  0.23627586 BTC which is much more than $200. I've never heard someone won that prize though.
