No bitcoin will not die. You really just need to wait in order for your transmission to transfer. It is just a matter of time. My friend waited almost a month for him to withdraw his .25 btc. And for you btc you just need to wait or try to better the fees in order for it to become faster.

Actually we have two options: we either wait as long as it is needed for transaction with low fee to be confirmed or we can pay 300+ sats/byte and our transaction will be confiormed within 25 minutes. If I were transfering 0.25 BTC I would definitely choose the second option.

I usually turn Bitvest's faucet to 250k or 300k tokens by just using 1000x multiplier ( which many people do ) and then I try to gamble using them to reach a million tokens which gives 10% in BTC . I have succeeded in this like around 10 times Smiley Its possible but it takes hell lot of patience.

As for me, I didn't have the luck to turn faucet to a really good number and used it as base bankroll. I guess I don't have the patience and just really go out and bet big that's why it is always not possible for me. Again for me its not possible for the simple reason that I haven't succeeded it doing it.  Smiley But if you says that you have done it more than 10 times, then I would say it depends on the player itself.

No, it doesn't depend on the player, rather it depends on luck. Everybody is in equal position here, everyone can win a lot if they are lucky enough on a particular day. And everyone can get a long lose streak and lose all the balance because of that.

Now with this recent beating Bitcoin has been taking since the recent weeks many holders of the coin may think the end is here for it. From over $2800 to $1870 within three weeks isn't any consolation for anyone not to panic. However, I still think Bitcoin will survive this year. As for next year, I really can't say.

We'll see what happens after the Aug 1. Some say this is the end of the world, others say it will be a good improvement and bitcoin will rise as never before. I support the latter ones. I strongly believe that bitcoin will not only survive but will rise from that point.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: July 16, 2017, 03:06:00 PM
I have tried it from bitsler when their faucet gives about 1,200 sats I made it till 200k sats.
Are you sure about this? You have made almost 200 times  Shocked You seem quite lucky, you should try to make similar outcome betting with some real cash  Wink Grin

Many simply loss what they get from faucet in first try including me, never made even 10x with what I got from faucets.

Happened to me too once. I went to 0.00036081 from the 150 sats faucet on a dice site playing with 9.90% win chance.

~

But that was pure luck I guess. I don't think I can repeat it with real cash. Smiley

Actually gambling on dice is based on our luck at one moment we are lucky and in other we could lost all winning amount there. But when we play with faucet amount or promo balance than it's much easy to take risk with bug odds rather than deposited money.

That's right, it's much easier to risk when it's not your money, but the money from the faucet. When we lose in that case, we just forget about it. When we win, we remember and tell others. That's how an impression that you can win big with gambling is built.

As long the effort counts still I pretty much feel sorry for myself if my faucet earnings will be drained for certain greedy acts on gambling but if this case will occur well I just stand up and collect again maybe next time I can even earn more when luck strikes to my bones. But as long as you can risk to do that well that would be ok since if we win the jackpot we will be the one who's been fruitfull for our risky acts their.

Imo if you don't spend much it's okay to hope for the jackpot. What is not okay though is when you are obsessed with the idea of hitting the jackpot and spend all you have to have better odds of hitting it.

I am very sad to read an article about chainsplit in August, if this happens, the bitcoin body will split in two, this is a bad thing for the bitcoin price up front.

I hope people continue to reject btu because the impact he generates is so bad.
BItcoin blockchain will not split in two if the hard fork succeeds. Do not worry about this issue because most of developers and people who have high mining hash rate accept his hard fork. Just need a little bit lucky and some praying and I bet that bitcoin can never split into two. Even if bitcoin has two blockchain, it can never be die because bitcoin has been a big part of this world already Wink

I agree. Even not knowing much about blockchain and how it works, I'm sure people who are in charge will prevent any bad outcome  because billions of US dollars are at stake.

1468  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 15, 2017, 08:09:42 AM
definitely not the strongest, transaction time is way too slow for any practical purposes. could you imagine standing in a store for 2 hours for your payment to clear?

for now, i think no one will want to standing in a store, but after everything is run smooth, transaction will be fast and we only need to wait less than 5 second to completed transaction. i am sure that we don't see slow transaction after segwit or other maintenance for the network is completed so this could make transaction works fast without having waiting too long.

This^ and also even now we can use bitcoin for payments but not directly. If you have a bitcoin ATM in a shopping centre you can exchange your BTC for local money first and then go shopping. Takes 2 hours? Go see a movie during that time.  Smiley

1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: July 14, 2017, 05:03:06 PM
Since I strive to not deposit my money on a gambling site my lucky day is when there's a promotion somewhere, when they give you chips or satoshis to play on their site, or when there's a happy hour and they give you 5k or even 10k from the faucet to play. This is always a good opportunity to gamble without risking your money which I like very much. Those are my lucky times.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: July 14, 2017, 12:11:58 PM
For me it somehow it relieves stress. I don't really take gambling seriously, I just do it for fun or thrill. It's stressing if

you would take it seriously. And, also it's scary if you're talking about big money. So, just moderate whatever you do when

gambling, so that you'll enjoy it.

I enjoy gambling too, and that's because I don't take it seriously either. I think that's where problems start, when people start taking gambling too seriously, like their life depends on it and stuff. Don't do that, guys. Always take it easy.
1472  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 14, 2017, 08:47:15 AM
I do not think so. The USD is still being used in many countries and the USA know how to supply and help other countries with their force and money. Therefore, we can see USD in almost countries on the world. Bitcoin is new and it is not used by many people yet. Bitcoin needs more time to develop and make more people to pay attention to it

I agree. We are still too far from the point when all the people in the world would know bitcoin and were using it. But we are going in that direction step by step. Slowly but surely.

Bitcoin is the strongest currency in the world. The sooner one realises this the better for them.

How does the bonus points calculated? How many chips needs to be played for 1 bonus points? Sorry for asking this simple question but I cant find it on your site or in this thread?

Good point, we will add it to our FAQ page. You receive 0.08 bonus points for every 1 chip you pay in rake.
No matter win or lose, we will still get points ?? Sorry may i know whether the points we collect can us exchange with chip ?? not much player online at your site maybe you need made tournament for increase the player.

As far as I understand, no matter win or lose you receive bonus points. You need them to have the capability to withdraw the funds.

~
All players who signed up today have received their 1000 bonus chips. Remember, you will have to collect 100 bonus points before cashing out.
~

I'm wondering myself, after collecting 100 bonus points what's the point to have more of them?  Smiley
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin about the free world, but not for us in the Middle East! on: July 13, 2017, 12:27:37 PM
Buy bitcoin in localbitcoins.com or in coinbase

Coin base doesn't work in middle east. Localbitcoin is ridiculously expensive.

Thanks bro.
Is Localbitcoins actually that expensive? Haven't used it in a long time, but when I did, I was always able to find some pretty decent deals depending on which payment method I used.
I would think that there was enough competition there to push the markup down, or not?

Decentralized exchanges might also be an option, I recently used Bitsquare to buy Bitcoin and that went pretty smooth.

Depends on the area I guess. Where I live Localbitcoins is not the best place to use, so maybe where OP lives it is not the best place either.

Maybe try to google +btc +[your town] -localbitcoins
1476  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 13, 2017, 11:18:11 AM
Yeah right, the current price of around $2400 and is bitcoin is the biggest and strongest, 10 more years price bitcoin will reach more than $25.000 so bitcoin is the strongest currency.

Although we've seen the fall during the last days, I agree that the future of bitcoin is bright. It will become the strongest currency in the world sooner or later. Just don't panic sell now, guys and girls, it will recover in less than a month.
1477  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: July 13, 2017, 10:23:15 AM
I'm wondering, how many of you guys played on the site already and what's your thoughts?

Also don't forget about this promotion  Wink :

Quote
As a limited promotion we would like to offer 1,000 chips for FREE to all players signing up before midnight July 31 2017. We use CET (Central European Time). 1K chips = 0.001 BTC

Good luck to all!
1478  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: July 12, 2017, 01:41:03 PM
Many people are now curious to know what bitcoin is, whereas once bitcoin was just underestimated, now upside down many people stop working instead they prefer to focus on bitcoin

Is this the impact of rising bitcoin prices?

Yes, it was the impact of bitcoin price rising. And now, when the price went under $2,400 I think many people will start buying since they remeber it was close to $3,000 not so long ago. That was a good think that more people became familiar with bitcoin.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 12, 2017, 12:38:10 PM
Gamble for fun or profit? Maybe both of them. I would have fun if i made some nice profit and when i lost all, i realize that gambling just for fun! Personally, i think most of people play for profit because when you gamble with high bet, you would be stressful, not really fun.

That's called adrenaline rush, people pay money to get that. So if you lose a bit to gambling but you can say that you've had adrenaline rush from playing I think you shouldn't regret the loss. Of course you should never gamble with more than 2-3% of what you earn per month. But better set your limit at 1% even.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: July 12, 2017, 10:26:28 AM
It's very hard to win thousands just using faucet. Some sites offers faucet but with low amount because you need to wager or level up depends on the site but making faucet to thousand you will need a good luck. You might trying hitting 9900x payout from day 1 and don't stop until you hit it.

No, 9900x is not necessary. If OP means thousands of satoshis then with a faucet of 100 sats it's enough to win a max bet on 50x to get 5k, which is not so hard to do. Another question is how to go to the amount you can withdraw.

With really small bankroll 100 satoshi, it will be very hard to earn big from faucet. Maybe for the faucet lover, they can run it for a bit but still you need big luck on it. I think only dice sites that can earn thousand from faucet.

Yes, you can do it on dice sites but you'll need luck for that. I tried it many times and only a few times I've succeeded to make a signincant amount which was close to that that you can withdraw.
