1661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making easy gambling site on: June 14, 2017, 01:05:10 PM
I am interested in knowing if there was any way to make a crypto gambling site for our Pandacoin. Thanks guys.
I'm sorry mate but I don't think gambling sites will be interested with your coin as of the moment, as per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pandacoin-pnd/ the value is only 0.00000001 BTC which represent that it has not develop yet not able to
attract interested investors, please focus first on the development and everything will come at the right time.

I think it depends on the kind of site they will made. If the site will be attractive to gamblers then they can buy Pandacoins merely in order to play on the site. Maybe even that's the point of creating such site.

No casino will risk on using a currency which is not fully developed or don't have any investor at all. It is high risk since anytime the value the coin will turn in to 0. Only the devs of the coin can build a casino that accepts Pandacoins as currency. I can't believe that there are still coins that has a 1sat value

Yes, but they are devs most likely, or they are somehow connected to devs anyway. Why'd they call themselves DigitalPandacoin then?

I still think creating a good gambling site accepting a crypto is a good way of promoting the crypto.

I love the logo proposed by Tomason above!

If that's official (I'm not sure about that because we can see the old logo on http://torcoin.org/), I think we should change our avatars then.

In the meantime Torcoin is rising big, 19.93% in BTC in the last 24h.  Wink

Me too, just waiting for the logo to be made official and made an avatar size.
Also i greatly enjoyed your onion throwing video that made me laugh alot. The highest available quality is sadly only 240p, when i was wishing for full HD.
Anyway the compilation video was fun, and i think all of the videos made on the challenge should be added into the ANN.
I think the tor integration will need to be made before we actually can have any kind of progress on markets.

Haha, Thank you for your compliment!  Smiley

Actually the quality is 480p, and I don't want to make it higher because I want to be anonymous, remember?  Grin

Yeah, the logo is great and I'm wondering why they haven't changed it on the official site, http://torcoin.org/ ?

1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 14, 2017, 11:54:11 AM
Are people still holding this? Pump is over for this year. Jump onto better prospects.

I disagree, it wasn't a pump if by pump you mean they were buying their own coin. No one can afford to do such things with a coin with $192 million daily trading volume. It's traders and holders who believe Ripple will rise big in the futurew who were buying XRP lately creating the price increase. Btw Ripple is 10% up in BTC today.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: June 14, 2017, 11:39:18 AM
Do you know a good strategy to increase faucet satoshis (300-500) to couple thousand?
You can increase faucet to couple thousand with any kind of strategy, you just have to roll number. You can try to play strategy which i call double or nothing, hit couple of times with full bet payout 2X and there you go.
But why do you want to increase faucet to couple of thousand satoshi, i am sure it's not enough for withdrawal.

If you know how to make 2k out of 100 satoshis then you can make 40k out of 2k. Having 40k you can make 800k out of it and so on ad infinitum. Smiley
But seriously, that's almost impossible. Being very lucky once I made around 80k starting from 200 sats, but that was only once and I lost all of it anyway.
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 14, 2017, 10:31:11 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

I save bitcoin (and other altcoins) for both fun and for future purpose. I might be not wealthy and not living much comfortably as of now, but I think me holding a good number of bitcoin, ethereum, and other altcoins will make it worth it for me in the future. So that I can buy the luxury things I want, so I can retire early, and all those stuff.

I think you are right on bitcoin and ethereum, but I don't know what other altcoins you hold. Maybe you better exchange them for BTC and ETH. Anyway I wholeheartedly wish you the best of luck with you investments. Avoid excessive gambling with what you are holding and you'll be okay.
1666  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 14, 2017, 10:09:40 AM
I think billionaires have invested in BTC, specially those who are rich because they own a tech based company like Bill Gates, who own microsoft. Who knows maybe the owner of Samsung and Apple might have invested into bitcoin but they don't tell others about it. It is also possible that Mark Zuckerberg invested on Bitcoin, if they do I hope they will consider to accept bitcoin in the future.

I don't know about Zuckerberg, but Winklevoss Twins, known for their legal battle with him, earned $11 million from their investments in Bitcoin.

But you are right, we can't know for sure whether billionaires invest in bitcoin and how much if they do.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY - Decentralized yt/netflix ; is this the most undervalued coin? (NEXT x10) on: June 14, 2017, 10:00:13 AM
LBRY has been performing well, lately. Looks like it's not too late to get in on the action

Indeed LBRY is showing a great performance, 24.90% in BTC in the last 24h. It is up from 16.5k satoshis just two days ago to 23k right now.

Considering the trading volume on Poloniex, which is around 4 million, I can imagine how someone has made tens of thousands of USD in two days by trading LBRY.
1668  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be created by Russia or China? on: June 13, 2017, 11:25:15 AM
Can Russia or China done such a thing to erase the dominance of the dollar over the world?

Generally, there are always governments behind such technologies. For example, StuxNet
If they had done it,then why should they first try to ban bitcoins and then start to regulate it.Bitcoin was created by satoshi not against US dollars, but to free people from banking sectors. But surprisingly, bitcoin is reducing the dominance of dollars world wide and it could replace dollars as global reserve currency in the future.

I agree with this. If Russia or China created bitcoin they would be already showting about that from the rooftops. No need to keep in secret such great achievement if you've done it.

But if I were them I'd probably was spreading such rumors too.  Smiley

Even 5 dollars at the end of the year 2017 is a fair price for XRP.

Not sure about 5 dollars, but, as I was saying before, I'm sure Ripple will be $2 by the end of this year. A friend of mine who invested in XRP 10% of all his savings is confident about $1 though.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: June 13, 2017, 09:56:03 AM
I do not have much experience with faucets in many major bitcoin sites but definitely it's tiring because you would just keep clicking on and on and the reward isn't that great anyway. There are a lot of ways that you could try instead of fauceting like freelancing or something alike. That would increase your earnings by a lot.

I agree. I also tried to earn from faucets but after some time I realized that it is very time consuming and the reward is too small. From my experience you can earn $0.3 per hour max, and for that you have to visit dozens of existing faucets without a break.
I agree with you mate, Faucets it's a waste of time, In general it's for newbie who are new in bitcoin community, to claim their first satoshis. By the way, nowadays faucets pay too low than old days. So by wasting your time, you don't expect that you can earn a lot with them, It's too hard.

Yes, I remember when bitcoin was around $250 many faucets were giving from 700 to 1000 satoshis and although it was the same amount in USD as they are giving now, for those who knew bitcoin will rise it was a great opportunity to collect some. But on the other hand, what if bitcoin will be $25k a year or two from now? Then the faucets are still good.
If the price goes that high, faucets will probably give 1-2 satoshi a claim
Of course, many people are ignoring the fact that rewards are linked to the price.. until 3-4 years ago you could get a good amount (if you kept it until today Cheesy)

Yeah, true, but who knows how much bitcoin will rise in the future? Maybe those 70-80 satoshis you can claim today from a faucet will look like a very big money in 5 years, or maybe even earlier.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: June 13, 2017, 09:35:34 AM
almost all gambling games I liked but I like dice games because it is very easy and straightforward without use of the mind by playing a man happy just pitted luck there, In addition, moreover, I also like sports betting, because football is my passion and I love the moments of tension when watching football. I'm sure my favorite team as my support for them

I like dice games too. I'm not into sports, especially when it comes to watching it on TV screen so I never do sports betting. I tried slots couple of times but wasn't lucky with them so I quit. And poker is too hard for me to comprehend yet. So yeah, dice is the best.  Smiley
My favorites changes from time to time because there are a lot of games in the world of gambling and every new game is an exciting game to play.
For now, I am back to sports betting since it's already NBA finals and it's very exciting to watch my favorite team playing and I cannot just watch without playing bets, that's what gamblers do and I can say I am a real gambler.

That's what I can't understand is how's it funny to watch sports games on TV screen. But that's me, and I'm glad for those who are enjoying it. Probably it's a nice feeling when the team you made bet on wins.  Smiley
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 13, 2017, 09:24:49 AM
I do save bitcoin for my future,  and half of my bitcoin I spend on my personal needs and also for fun like Gambling, Trading Etc. . Bitcoin can lead  us to  the luxury life and cozy life. Long live bitcoin!  Smiley

You are doing the right thing saving at least half of your coins. Although I don't spend much on gambling and I rarely trade, I can't make myself to save 50% of what I earn. I always need money for something and thus I sell BTC. But I'm planning to save at least half in the future.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 13, 2017, 09:10:07 AM
I absolutely think they are into it too even though I doubt if they will buy them directly and hoard like us but I suspect they will rather invest in big mining farms which will mine bitcoins for them.

Part of them are investing in mining farms, yes. But there's another part who is unwilling to show off how much money they have. That part is just buying bitcoins quietly and holding never bothering to make profits on price fluctations.
1676  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 13, 2017, 08:58:26 AM
Even the price of bitcoin is very high I dont think bitcoin replace dollar. Because we dont know when the bitcoin die or how many years bitcoin will live in bitcoin world. Dollars live hundreds  years for sure so dollars cannot replace . Bitcoin will live decades I think base on my observation and prediction. But i hope bitcoin will live long . Bitcoin and dollars is both good investment.

Compared to most national curencies, especially in undeveloped countries, USD is a good investment indeed, but it is so only if you for some reasons can't invest in bitcoin. Looking at btc/usd charts we can't deny that bitcoin is much better investment and in terms of investment bitcoin is replacing dollar already.
Yeah man, but I think it's not enough to base on chart. Because if our basis is the selling price of bitcoin yearly yeah it was higher than Dollar, but how about the statistics? Is the charts discussed how many billion people used BTC compared to Dollar?

How's that matter? If most people are doing the wrong thing ignoring bitcoin and investing in USD instead of BTC, should other people do the same? No. If they know bitcoin is better investment they invest in bitcoin. And for those people bitcoin has already replaced dollar.

It's falling forever Huh Huh 19251 buy it. now=16500  Undecided Undecided

Chill, mate, it's rising again.  Smiley 0.00017427 right now.

I just discovered what a good thing the LBRY team did recently. They mirrored 20,000 college lectures by the University of California at Berkeley, which were deleted from YouTube. https://lbry.io/news/20000-illegal-college-lectures-rescued

This is especially good for students like me. Good job, LBRY! You deserve rising.

I've noticed that in the OP in the section on Torcoin exchanges Crypto Dao is not mentioned. But I'm sure Torcoin is lsited there, I even traded Torcoin there myself.  Smiley

Also, though I haven't checked it myself, I think Torcoin is traded on Cryptopia and Novaexchange (source: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/torcoin-tor/#markets).
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 12, 2017, 08:43:15 AM
I save Bitcoin as a means of investment as it shows growth at a very fast rate so that i can have have very good returns. Bitcoin is also showing an increase in acceptance which also increasing it's value. I only save it for future purposes.

I wish I was like you. Unfortunately I spent 90% of what I had in BTC earlier this year. Now I'm planning to not spend it because I can see how much more fiat I'd have if I sold them now for example. Now I'm saying to myself: "I'm not selling at anything below $10k!", but we'll see whether I can stick to it.
if you spent your bitcoin you should not regret for that, because we earn money for spend it. and if you are regret for the price then bitcoin is giving use more and more chances, we need to concentrate of the market and we can get more chance to make more money form bitcoin.

Yes, I agree, I really needed those money back then, but from now on I will try to not spend because I believe the price will be rising in the future and it's stupid to buy a thing for $50 now spending $150 from your future money on it.
