2381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news through Mastercard. on: October 27, 2021, 11:31:08 AM
Looks like the least we can do is to support them when they start implementing this plan and as a MasterCard user myself, this is great news and I'm hoping to try it as soon as they released it.

Their client will support it because they have a big number of clients, they would still do the same transaction, it's just that there's some addition which is crypto, just like a store that accepts online digital payment like Paypal and then they added crypto for the currency they are accepting.

It's the adoption that will make this crypto market a better world to play, more adoption would result in less manipulation, and we hope it will happen in the long run.
2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 27, 2021, 09:15:59 AM
I don't think it was done by Binance Party for the purpose of campaigning for Shiba Inu, but since Shiba Inu has been officially listed on their exchange Platform, this is a common thing in my opinion. but by doing it by Binance like that there is a positive value going on with Shiba.
The positive value is definitely there, but believe me that playing with Shiba Inu always has a greater risk than with others because Shiba is only viral because of Hype alone not because of good Utilities, while others live with very good Utilities aren't they with the hype.

it seems that when talking about risk, it is not only the shiba inu that has a big risk, with other coins, I think the risk is almost the same. but for now in my opinion playing in shiba there is absolutely no risk, but for everyone it is necessary to be more careful and more vigilant because shiba is the newest token that has a strong community.
With regards about Binance promoting SHIB, i have sense that this is more on hyping SHIB because that's what meme coins are all about. Although its undeniable that SHIB has a good community at the moment, but if Binance is starting to promote it, the news should be coming from the exchange itself and not literally from the SHIB page. Some may consider it as a FOMO, but if we take SHIB as a potential investment, then it would not need any hype or FOMO because its growing community itself and its increasing demand is already enough to convince others to invest in SHIB.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: October 27, 2021, 07:19:49 AM
What are some sportbooks that will NEVER ask for KYC
The problem with sportsbook is that there are multiple ways players can cheat them and hence at times almost every sportsbook will enforce one of the two:

1- Limitation on account, which means you cannot bet significant amounts. It can happen for many reasons and they can limit you if you are simply winning too much consistently.

2- KYC is another way of restricting you and making sure you are afraid of cheating the sportsbook knowing they can report you to the local authorities.

Well, the problem appears when people try to cheat! As I wrote in some of my previous posts, currently I am betting on Stake and Betfury, only email address and password, of course, with authenticator for safety... without KYC! I don't have problems with deposits and withdrawals! I never had any serious problems with crypto casinos, but I never tried to cheat them! I am not a whale, so everything up to $1k is working smoothly... I am saying that because we all know for complaints of some whales about crypto sports books!

Betting sites are not afraid that bettors will cheat, they are confident to operate which means they have a strong internal control to prevent or detect gamblers who are cheating. I think most of the concerns I read in the gambling community are the gambling sites cheating the gamblers, not the other way around, so that's not the reason why KYC is required, it's only required due to regulatory compulsory requirements to the operators.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: October 27, 2021, 06:49:16 AM
People are losing faith in him because things have not been great for Joshua in the last fights, he lost against Ruiz which was one of the biggest upsets in the history of boxing and he did not looked good at all during the fight, it is true he won the rematch but he did not won by destroying Ruiz or anything like that, so while the win was deserved no one was impressed by it, and now he was completely dominated by Usyk, so people are not confident at all he can win the rematch against Usyk.

Sure. Even if we assume that Joshua will be lucky and will be able to defeat Usyk (in super heavyweights there is always a chance for an unexpected knockout), this will not change the fact that in the next match against Fury he will be an obvious underdog and such a fight is unlikely to cause a lot of excitement.

Indeed Joshua have lost his face in the crowd during his fight with Ruiz and also against Usyk in their last match.
He bounce back against Ruiz by beating Ruiz in the rematch, and now he will face Usyk again in a rematch, so let's see if he can do the same.
AJ changed his coach as he is looking to be better in the rematch, and that's another thing to watch out as he is serious, and I think he has a chance here but no chance for Fury.

No one believes in him anymore that he'll win against Usyk this time except his team ofcourse. And even if Joshua will fortunately win this time, he'll eventually lose against Tyson Fury and will definitely teach him.

I kinda excited to watch Usyk against Fury tho, these two fighters is much more entertaining to watch.

I do, I still believe that he will win against Usyk, he was the bigger fighter (though not quick enough) and he can impose his length if he'll learn a new technique under the new coach.
2385  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is Happier: Stock investors or Bitcoin investors on: October 26, 2021, 10:55:28 PM
The one who gets profit or the the who gets more profit is the most happier. That is easy. But, I think there are just two differences between them. Investing in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, gives higher percentage growth, than investing in stock. But, cryptocurrency is way risky than stock, because it is easier to scam with fake crypto project, than to scam with fake project that has issued stock.
I agree on you on this point. Of course the one who gets higher profits is obviously happier than those who only get minimal profits. And this depends either if you invest more on crypto or you choose to put more funds on stocks. But one thing is certain, there is more profits in crypto rather than stocks. Crypto has a higher rate of growth compared to any other assets, and its certainly more expensive than any other assets. So the bigger the risk you take, the higher the returns you'll gain. Not just in crypto alone, but this applies to all types of investments.
2386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: October 26, 2021, 09:11:40 AM
I don't know why I see threads like this where people talk about the "death" of fiat, banks or anything that comes in front of crypto? Why shouldn't fiat be used just as it was since decades?
Why to eradicate banks from our society? Banks only lend people for their businesses and not everyone here can afford to learn about crypto or join this revolution by buying the expensive cryptocurrencies. I'm not against crypto, but I guess we need everything we already have, plus a few new things for a better tomorrow. Why remove anything out of them for our convenience?

When I mention "death" in the post, I meant the death of the old financial regime where banks own your money. Ca'mon, it wouldn't be posted any other way. We are still slaves of a regime where we are forced to receive our payroll through a Bank. In case the government has something against you, they have the power to take over what is yours and freeze your bank accounts. while cryptos give you back the power over your money and total financial freedom, banks own your money and decide if and when you can access it or not. So, why shouldn't I be pledging over the "death" of a corrupt Banking system when there is already a better system at our disposal?

I am a crypto enthusiast for a long time and i understand where's your sentiment is coming from. Maybe we can say that banks owned by government are functioning too far from what crypto can offer us. In banks, although it is our own money that is being deposited and yet, they still have the control on it and definitely have an access to our private accounts. But with crypto, our own money will have our own bank and no one can access or control it except by the owner alone. Of course, there is more security and convenience if we are putting our money in crypto than keeping it in banks.

However, i know the government also sees that but definitely won't allow such decentralized cryptos to replace over banks or fiat. Maybe in the near future, as crypto gets more massive adoption, then banks might face death if they can't totally adopt crypto.
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hodl or change? on: October 25, 2021, 10:43:07 PM
If someone bought the Dogecoin at the highest price, then it is better to wait or change it to other cryptos and make money by exchanges and swap?
I would say that getting out of doge at any price is a good choice.
There are other coins that you could make the loss back so there is really nothing wrong with that.
I personally wouldn't put any money into doge, I would stay away from it and have been staying away from it.

However, if you made a mistake back in the day and got in, there is no reason to keep it there, eventually it will go down more and more, and sure there will be some good times but that doesn't mean that it will stay like that forever. All in all I would get something more decent, get cake and stake it, get uni and stake it, get bitcoin if you want to but stay away from doge.
Dogecoin's hype was definitely over so we are seeing it already losing its value and is already in a low price. Those who have bought dogecoin when it was still very famous and its price was at its peak, holding it continuously today might only be a waste of time hoping that it could reach another ATH one of these days. Let's face reality that the time for dogecoin is already over, so its better to change it with another coin that has still a bright future ahead. There are a lot of choices to make since the market has both favored bitcoin and altcoins today. So choose what you think that has a great real use case so that its demand will continue to grow together with its value.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 25, 2021, 09:14:33 PM
Don't forget that Melo was once a superstar who leads the Nuggets and the NYK during his prime, so scoring 28 points is not to be surprised.
His stats are getting better now compared with his stats on the Portland Trailblazers.

Now, he averaged 17.7 points, and that's decent enough for a player that is only paid less than 3 million dollars a year.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/anthoca01.html

I'm looking forward to his consistency here but it still depends on how the coach would manage his time.
2389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 25, 2021, 08:40:08 PM
Despite being an exhibition fight, I'm anxious to watching it.
Mike Tyson was a great boxer (perhaps one of the best in the sport's history).

I saw some videos of Tyson training and he really is a monster! He's more than 50 years old, he's still fast and technical.

One question, is the height of Logan Paul and his wingspan that could make a difference against Tyson? Even though it's an exhibition fight?
Wouldnt be that effective since Tyson could easy block and avoid those sloppy jabs from Logan and also we've seen that stamina is really way too far off even Tyson had long time retired but
those qualities of being a great boxer does still remain and also he's still in shape even he's already old.

Just like on what others been saying. How long he could last or stand up if he would be hit that signature uppercut of Tyson?
Well business is business as usual.
Exhibition fights do really automatically means money and which is really an entertainment even those non-boxers would tend to challenge with those pro boxers whether active or retire it doesnt matter.
All they do just need is to make certain hype on which they could create because the more noise it has then the more money that they could have.It seems that Logan isnt still contented on
how much he did get on that Conor fight? And now we are seeing that he do set up some fight again against with the greatest boxer? LOL!!!!!!!!
That's correct, it means money but it doesn't mean that exhibition fights are scripted or rigged, it's not like Wrestling where there's a script that they follow. IMO, although this is called an exhibition fight, it's still as dangerous as professional boxing, so they also deserved to make money here as they are risking their life.
2390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: October 22, 2021, 04:16:22 PM
There are 3 options to profit in the cryptocurrency industry. according to my version like this:
 - Trading: It is called a way to get more money by trading cryptos, either by transferring between them or by providing exchange services.
 - Investment: There are many cryptocurrencies with a good future, but I only recommend Bitcoin and Ethereum.
 - Gambling: sometimes beneficial and sometimes detrimental. I don't recommend it at all (risk high)
Don't invest yet until you're able to understand the whole concept of cryptocurrencies and how volatile this market is.
There is a process before you can do that, however, you can start by buying bitcoin with around the smallest amount that you can test to see how it feels like owning it but you won't feel the fluctuations since it's just a small amount.

But most of the time Trading and investment is the main thing for us to earn here in cryptocurrency other than this thing nothing else.
And there are a lot of altcoins that are on top in the market in which is good to buy aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum, in fact, Bitcoin and ETH are both reasonable good only for long term holdings only in my own opinion only.

eth and bitcoin are indeed feasible for long-term investments, but if you want a bigger profit, of course, many other altcoins have potential, so we can research them well and get double returns. On the other hand, of course, we have to take the risk into account
Altcoins can give us bigger profits even with short term holding, but definitely it has a higher risk. But for bitcoin and ethereum, they are more on long term holding because their value consistently making a price surge until it finally reaches their new ATH, and that's the time a huge profits can already be gain. Although it takes time before they reach their new ATH, but we can guarantee that they are really heading towards it.

However, if crypto has a lot of advantages, it has also its disadvantages. If crypto can make us rich through our hard earned profits from long term and short term investments, it can also be a reason why we still end up totally poor. Losses are inevitable if we are not careful with those coins we are putting our capital. So invest only on the amount we can afford to lose.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: October 22, 2021, 01:40:23 PM
I hope there's free live streaming on this, yes, I believe this will be on Sunday and you know, Sunday is family time but you can't want this in our local channels so live streaming would be helpful. Sometimes we have free facebook live but the audio is not good and there are interruptions, so it would not really give us the entertainment we like to experience.

I used to post links for free live streaming here but the site for that one is taken down. Facebook live can be a good use sometimes but oftentimes the reception is not that good so I'm looking to subscribe to a site that offers sports like boxing and basketball in one, anyone got an idea on where to subscribe for these sports?

I have no idea if for basketball it's usually through NBA TV and for boxing, usually, it's for ESPN +.  Maybe if you have an account in a sportsbook that offers live betting, you can see the fight live without paying, I think stake.com offers free live streaming, you can check it out https://promotions.stake.com/live-streaming/.
2392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 22, 2021, 01:06:47 PM
I'm doubtful that they can get on NBA finals with this roster even if Klay Thompson back again. There is a lot of strong team right now that can shut down this splash brother easily compared during there prime.
Just wait until you see Klay, what if Klay Thompson played the same when he was not injured yet, I think you will change your mind. have you seen how the GSW beat the LA Lakers on the opening night? that means they are capable of beating even the team that people think will win the championship.
2393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin flash crashes to $8200 at Binance.us on: October 22, 2021, 11:44:37 AM
Wow, I didn't notice that, I was just looking at CMC for the price, and since it tells only the average price among exchanges, it did not print the figures.
I guess we have some lucky buyers who bought at a lower price and got their order filled, I never imagine it could happen to bitcoin which has a huge trading volume. Anyway, we are back to normal now.
2394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 22, 2021, 08:55:55 AM
[snip]
In my opinion, regulation, practicality, and stability are definitely required for the mass adoption of crypto as a payment method/currency.
What are your opinions on this?
Well, I believed mass adoption will start those who lead in the country or as a president and accepted it legally --so I think you are right. Regulation is very important but it is not mandatory at all. Because we can still adopt bitcoin without knowing by the government if they will still insist on the regulation process. As I see it is not hard to accelerate mass adoption if your country does not have any negative comments about this.
With or without them, bitcoin price will always increase the price.
We've been hoping for it to happen wayback into those yester-years and only this year it did really become possible on where a country did really make it as a legal tender. We've never been anticipating
for things to happen because we know that decentralized stuffs wouldnt really be that regulated easily knowing that government doesnt really like decentralization but here we are now on where
there are countries which had already made up such decision. We dont know on whats up into their minds but having these events or news would be always considered a good one.
I think we are already in the process of accelerating mass adoption for crypto seeing some of those big and developed countries are already considering bitcoin as a payment method. But if we are aiming for a higher rate of mass adoption, i think we should start it in the government itself. They should not be one sided and should be more open on crypto because crypto itself needs an attention too just like fiat. Because at the end of the day, the government should always think of the welfare of the people and that crypto will certainly give them the convenience they want.
2395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Technical Analysis? on: October 22, 2021, 08:01:03 AM
Do you use technical analysis when you trade bitcoin?
But of course, what else would one be doing trading without Technical Analysis? How would one even be able to navigate the murky waters if not with the help of TA? Yes, to your question.

If yes, what are the best strategies?
There's no holy grail in trading. I rely on leading indicators as a major part of my TA, even while taking cognizance of the fact that the market (crypto market) is a highly speculative one and nothing is that certain.

Bitcoin is so volatile now.
This is even what makes Bitcoin enticing and exciting for traders. Once the market goes to sleep, a lot of traders don't like trading it. I believe the volatility is a plus for Bitcoin.
Volatility makes the world of traders more exciting. Although it may bring a negative thought when it comes to price fluctuations but for traders, its a big word that makes them trade every now and then.

I usually use technical analysis more than its fundamentals but the fact that this crypto market is so unpredictable due to its volatility, i end up using multiple strategies that will make me more profitable. But the best trading strategy i think that has less risk and what most of the traders are using is that buying from the dip, and selling in its peak. Even if you just sit the whole day waiting for the target price to reach, you will still make profits once the market price reaches its ATH.
2396  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all time high record | $66,000 on: October 21, 2021, 11:17:23 PM
It was a special moment for me to see Bitcoin price breaking a new record after a long period of time. We saw the price at nearly 67k dollars a few days ago. Maybe it is around 62k dollars now but I expect another increase after this price correction ends. Bitcoin is capable of doing much more than this. Maybe we won't see 100k dollars this year but we should be able to see over 70k dollars.

Somehow a good sight to see for certain individuals who think about buying but they doubt about the stand of bitcoin at the moment, But anyways as the new ATH has been break and also the year doesn't end yet so maybe we can provably see another ATH price breakthrough so guess this is another wait for us then speculates about on when $70k will surpass since if that happen we can possibly a 6 digits figure maybe or december or next year so hopefully no breakout will happen or other fuds that can make this bullish streak collapsed.
The market cannot guarantee that there won't be any incoming negative news in the market that it won't affect the bullish season. It will be inevitable as it usually happens whenever a new ATH is set to achieved. But meanwhile, let's keep going and enjoy the ride while bitcoin price at the moment is very bullish. I think by the end of december, we will witness a new price at $75k-$80k. This would be very possible if there won't be any market crash that would drop down the value of bitcoin. But no worries if it ever happens, bitcoin will always regain its value after the crash is over.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: October 21, 2021, 08:52:52 PM
There's already a lot of betting options in this fight from sportsbet.io

Totals:
Over 10.5 -1.46
Under 10.5 2.70

Winner & exact rounds and Winner & round range are also available.

So it's time now to put our bet on this fight, unfortunately, I haven't decided yet, I'm thinking of Herring winning as a underdog, but Shakur Stevenson is also a durable fighter. Totals might be good as Over, but the odds are not that attractive to me.

Thanks, good to see more markets in this fight are already available.

I like the underdog as well and I think I'll go with the under 10.5 since it's a bit 2.70 odds and I still have a price boost so it could increase.
Sometimes I feel the excitement more on betting the underdog especially on decent fighters and the odds are very attractive.

Herring to win at 7.40, who's with me here?
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 21, 2021, 08:35:36 PM
What's important is they win the game, and for sure the NYK has matured already and they will be a better team this season compared to the previous. As usual, Randle always delivers in the regular season, and this season they have Fournier who is a legit shooter, they needed that if they are struggling inside.
I still have doubts with Randle that may ruin the Knicks team. I saw him at the crucial moments trying to take the outside shot for a winning moment even though it's Fournier who has the free space. That could have been an unselfish move if he passed it and he will still have half the credit for it. At the end he missed it and I am sure they will look at the replays even though they won the game. He has to learn more and being a team player is part of that.
I have this bad feeling that soon, the Knicks problem will be that everyone is trying to be a star and co-players being a threat to reach that instead of a team.
Sound pessimistic but that is how I see it. It's mostly the issue for a young core team.

I don't see the same thing.  Yes last night evan got hot late but Randle is a great closer, proved it time and time again last year.  EF is not going to get every last shot, and if you watched the game Randle was taking his shots but at the same time was dishing it out when needed.  The ball movement last night was never an issue.  There was no iso or me ball out there.  Randle played his ass off.  They know they live and die with Randle on the floor.  Without him they are meh.  Dude dropped a hard 35 points.

I think Randle has been missed out as an MVP candidate this season, he is pretty underrated and if he will continue with this kind of contribution, I guess he has a shot.

Current odds for MVP this season, Randle is.

2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: October 21, 2021, 07:42:47 PM
The biggest reason is that at this time crypto is still a trend, and many millionaires are investing in crypto. It is hard to say whether cryptocurrencies will last for the long term or not, many things are unexpected and when the market looks like it is going to skyrocket but the price drops again, this is normal.
With altcoins, i know they're more on short term investments because altcoins are mostly seen affected with pumps and dumps. When you see an altcoin that has skyrocket today, sell it quickly when you think you'll be in profits already, because if you still let it sleep in your portfolio, you might be seeing it dumping the next day. Not all altcoins but i can say a lot of them. So they are no good for long term holding as they easily change their prices based on the current events and updates.
2400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk Sees Bitcoin Price Reaching $69,000 on: October 21, 2021, 08:38:56 AM

Well, am not complaining with the way Elon Musk is using his influence for the market to act positively according to what he believe the price of Bitcoin should be days from now. I just imagine if around 5 big crypto influencers will be uniting to push the price of Bitcoin to $100K...now I am hoping they can use that same influence to make regulations under the Biden administration for cryptocurrency acceptable and bearable. Go go go Elon Musk tweets us some more. And also don't forget the Dogecoin.
Bitcoin price has passed $60k already when he started to tweet back on bitcoin so even without him, its not surprising that bitcoin will still reach that amount soon as its set to reach its new ATH. Of course, many investors have been excited about the comeback of Elon because his tweets will help bitcoin to push through to its new ATH. But for me, Elon's presence is not as good as it seems because i know he has his new desires again to try manipulating the market, but hopefully this time bitcoin won't be influenced and may drop its price drastically.
