Well, im hoping to see a good swing of LTC at one point. Thats why i keep my miners running there.

Anyone else running in multipools with LTC payout? - Or do you still focus on LTC for now, before all those crazy MH miners hits the market?
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Choice of pool on: May 10, 2014, 02:59:14 PM
So, i'v been running my gear in themage's pool since it started. But im wondering what other pools you guys are running?

Im mainly looking for ones that do profitability switching and pays out in LTC - putting my money on LTC to rise in value.
244  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitcoin Network Traffic on: May 10, 2014, 01:45:08 PM
What ports are typically used with this type of traffic if using pool mining?  If there is a document that goes over this, I can just read that too.

if you are scared about that, then run on a pool that does port 80 or simular http/https port usages.. noone will notice.

Or alternatively, get a 3g connection to run your stuff off if your just stealing electricity at work..

i cant believe that they said shipping starts next week and customers still do not have an idea what to expect..dont have clue about final specs, about compensation(an extra 1th unit) and its shipping time and price-which includes PSU that we need to buy as a part of compensation..all of this is just ridiculous!

On the other hand. Would you rather wait or have the X-3 in hand and hashing with possibility / propability for firmware upgrades to upgrade hashing rate?

.... So, you are telling him to trust someone who doesnt show any evidence of the transaction.

In a crypto world, where everyone tries to cheat everyone to gain an edge.

Clever.

do you like CAPS sir? - It really does make you seem a lot more serious

no prefernce, i just wanted it to stand out, normally i would appreciate the sarcasm- your remark is genuinely funny, but enjoying levity so soon after being taken is hard for anyman- i hope i have stopped them from getting anymore easy btc

Are you sure you didnt just fuck up yourself and transfer money to someone who wasnt Jack? - by own mistake?

On the BA forums they mention there is an 8% power leak on the current PSU's and sort-of off-handedly said that if you don't like it your order will be delayed until the replacement PSU's are in.  I imagine this is because they are tired and frustrated.  A more official update will hopefully come soon that explains our options and what the final testing results are.

I think most miners would want to run these off ATX psu's in the long run. Efficiency in mind thats prolly the best option?

What i still don't understand about the whole thing is, where the hell do the bitfury boards and shit come into play. Why was it that after 3 months of taking preorders that they get their hands on a massive amount of bitfury boards and chips? Remember the pictures from the first trip to china (i think that was when they were posted, it was a pretty decent sized farm for the time)? I bring this up after checking out the black arrow site and seeing the "liquidation price" of 100 bucks for 40gh/s bitfury boards. Still not as nice as antminers as the furies need a supply and it appears a control board as well.

My guess.. they are dumping their own farm as they see it very close to bringing their minion farm online.

Anyone who can tell me if the usb hub that LA supplied with the first LA3M kits are capable of running without powersupply? - to make the restart dead miner work.

Dear Black Arrow,

The 50% hashingpower ontop of the initial batch 1 order is a slap in the face to your backers.
Please review this and ship the "compensation hardware" fully functional (yes, PSUs included) and with no additional shipping fees to cover.

Thanks

+1

Can you guys bring a general update on boards/cases/psu's etc?

- Would love to know if the 200A board assembly line is on track etc.

You should consider getting those blades onto a proper ATX psu imo. Those bambuu PSU's from china are really not very efficient.

its not nice to spam other people's thead ...

Oh, your back.

So, can we get back to how you ROI'ed your gear?
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HASHWARE Announce Scrypt ASIC 84M -stock available on: May 03, 2014, 01:08:01 PM
LA got some samples like others, probably will mine until shipping date to cover costs.

That's cool idea to use and sale for less.

I wouldnt mind a DIY kit tbh, would be kinda fun Smiley

You can poke me if you want someone to test it when your ready with one Wink
258  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 03, 2014, 08:49:14 AM
I am still quite confused as to how come the rest of the hardware is not ready when the ASIC chips were delayed by a few months?
eg cases not made yet, is that for real?

+1 - thats what seems odd to me aswell. Could be some stuff about the efficiency etc, but i'd argue that the pcb, the backplane etc. could have been done. Would think the last stuff to be fixed would be the heatsink - due to the unknown need for cooling and the powersupply.

So they sell you DIY kits for mass production?

They look a lot like LA's units:
