How does this scale well with APU's?
Is only AMD cards work proper with this or can Nvidia cards too? If the Nvidia cards work, is there performance similar to AMD?
What cards seem to be the best power/performance for the miner?

Wow, such profit! I have been using my GPU's to mine ethereum.
How have you fared so far? And with what GPUs? Just curious as I've been looking into doing the same ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Ethereum and Ethereum clone are best mined with the following: HD 7970, R9 280x, HD 7990 or 295x2. These cards probably have the best hash power per watt and better scalability. My mining rig has 3x HD 7970's that do 68~71 MHS and do about a block a day with Ethereum or 6 to 8 blocks with SHIFTcoin.

GPU mining is the most profitable at the moment, mostly Ethereum and also SHIFT coin. CPU mining is more cost efficient mining CryptoNight coin, than GPU at the moment. I don't know if AXIOM is still profitable to mine via CPU, but was for a moment. Magi is cool, but minimal profit, mining it is mostly supporting its network.

How long will the testnet period last?

I reported problem with TX and eth ++ client ~2 month ago at their github, .... I don`t get how basic functions are not tested... then I started using althzero which worked more or less for transfers and geth later
Yeah, this isnt like small bugs, they are quite severe imho, but we knew this risk when we forked it so. Any progress on DAPPS for SHIFT?

Bittrex sucks!
Everyone thinks if a coin gets listed on Bittrex that it is a scam. We better focus on getting on poloniex or cryptsy.
...I heard the same for Cryptsy... Poloniex is the best exchange at the moment....

I'll mine this Me too definitely. I mined both ETH and SHF, but surely this too.... ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Nice to be back in the GPU mining gig....lmfao....Lucky I didn't sell all my gpu's away, especially AMD cards....lol AMD 270x's handle ETHASH very well! What cards you running? Just 3x HD 7970's at them moment, hashing about 68~71 MH/s....Trying to get more cards at the moment, HD 7970, HD 7990, R9 280x or 295x2.... Think the 270x is pretty good and also the HD 7950/R9 280/R9 285.

Any news?
We are very close to the announcement now and should have it up within days. Sorry for the delays, but we want to get this done right. There will be public test mining in advance of the actual launch so people can test and have everything ready, so that the actual launch will be as fair as possible for everyone. There should be no problem with getting Expanse on a good exchange. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Good to hear the hard work and effort to make it a fair launch.

@shojayxt
Please look at ethereum info! Genisis (60M Crowdsale+12M Other): 72,009,990.49 Ether Generated From Mining: 932,484.43 Ether Current Total Supply 72,942,474.93 Ether
99% premined private monopoly FFS!
only retard would buy eth now!
Sadly, it's not supply that influences prices. It's demand, usage, adoption and popularity that mostly influences the markets. People will looks pass large premines, if they deem a crypto is worthy in their eyes... Sure but don`t forget manipulation, the party that hold ~70M is only one with agenda to keep the price up and make it like it good investment, but in reality ether can never have better price! (well I am 99% sure of it) :d Adoption and popularity are direct influences by some form of manipulation....

@ShiftTeam wrote you a PM 2 days ago...
Answered. Thx Added to http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shift/ , but it does not yet show the stats. They might need more info, especially a real time block explorer. Also, you might want to put ocminer's pool on the OP.

That's sounds about right the block height. I was going to link you to the block explorer but for some reason I am not getting that page up atm? but will post as soon as I do. There you can check all stats about SIA. Do you have any SIA coins to test your wallet with? You got to at least upload a little music to your SIA wallet ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Ok, thanks. I'm up at 5 peers now. I'll probably mine some coins later, currently I'm mining ETH and SHF on my rigs.... I'll probably buy some on Poloniex to give it a try...lol SIA explorer http://explore.siacoin.com/post your wallet address in here or pm me I can shoot ya 100 coins or so lol I'll just buy some, to help the market out....lol How do I encrypt/put a password on the wallet? I'm lazy at the moment to look through the whole posting...lol Unfortunately, wallet encryption is not available with 3.3.3 looking for it in final version of .4.0 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) In the meantime just be careful lol Oh ok...lol I was trying to unlock it via CLI...lol

found block on pool but i didn't received my coin, is that normal ?
found 1 block, coin generated 3 and my balance is 1.8
thifes block owner should get all! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) lol, yes it is normal. If you want the whole block reward you need to solomine. The whole point of pool mining is to eliminate the random reward risk from solomining. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ones more I was get this warning from suprnova, whats to do !!! WARNING !!! You seem to be sending a large amount of INVALID shares ! Check your rigs, you might be mining the wrong algo and your hashrate could be displayed wrong! !!! WARNING !!! seems all good with my miner setting, ethminer 0.9.41 Contact ocminer, pm him.....

I know it's in beta but I'm not working for you...so until stuff like this is ironed out don't wonder why no one is using it.
There are thousands of people who were able to download Sia and get it working. And on average they have uploaded less than one file each. I'm sorry that you are having troubles, but if you refuse to help us figure out what the issue is, we can't improve your experience. Maybe you should come back in 3 months. The beta is working fine for many people, and we are grateful for all the help that they have given us. We couldn't have gotten this far without the mountains of feedback we've received so far. And some volunteer developers have started making non-trivial contributions to the proejct, which is going to help significantly in the long run. I for one am going to focus on building Sia for the needs of the people who are most excited about it and willing to tolerate all of the turbulence associated with the early stages of the product. They are the users who are most important to me, and they are the ones who will get their feature requests prioritized. I have to somewhat agree with nextgencoin. I have a certification in Computer Networking, specializing in Cisco Systems (Router, Switches, LAN and WAN). I can't even get the wallet to work and so I couldn't mine it, that why I'm focusing on Ethereum and the Eth clones with DAPPS. I've try all in the tutorials, read me's, open ports on my router and machine, and even turn off my firewall. The upnp needs to be added to the wallet, as much as some people will complain of security issues with upnp, but just connecting to the internet is always a chance of a security issue and anyone is naive to think otherwise. The decentralized storage of this project need to be promoted more effectively. I like it's a working model, but that won't matter if people aren't convinced and trust the security factor of it. The wallet does have upnp support, although that might be new to the 0.4 version If you truly are cetified then you would know that saying "it won't work" is useless. What won't work? Won't run, sync, upload, mine? Check your .log files for errors, take some initiative. You're certified you know how to do this. You know the logic programming Cisco System is totally different than computer logic of a pc, I hope you know this. Cisco Systems is using more GUI now a days. The irony, I just ran the wallet and all of a sudden it can sync...Ain't that a funny thing....I didn't open any ports and have my firewall on with 0.3.3.3....I guess I'll retract the wallet not working, my apologies.....Just weird I guess for it to work all of a sudden.... Still, the promotion part needs to be address more and more demos on how the system works in general to the general public. Hey that's great! see learned something new already about SIA, takes a little while sometimes to begin syncing ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) as far as upnp, you will only need that if you want to host. Which we all want to do that eventually. But is not needed for normal wallet use. The promo part and that step by step info is on the way in near future. EDIT: If you want to play around with hosting now, 3.3.3 you will need to manually open ports in your router or DSL modem etc. for ports: 9981 and 9982 I'll probably define them in the port forwarding rules in dd-wrt router I currently am running, when I decide to start hosting. I'm currently connected to 2 peers and on block height 16165, but it seem to stop there or is this the current block height?
