241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are crash games profitable??? on: March 25, 2024, 11:08:37 PM

Crash games are not going to give you that extra source of income you are looking for.
I have proven this myself and it's a big joke to think that you're going to make a living doing all of games, Crash game where your chances to profit are very slim.

Quote
Using the martingale system in these games is quite risky because sometimes you might lose 20 times in a row
And continuing in this system will make you an addict,, protect your financial life at all cost, stake what you can afford to lose and be disciplined
The fact is, it will not work on any luck-based games on online casinos, although you have a good chance on some games the longer you play the house edge will always come into play and you will just become disappointed with the outcome, so to avoid disappointment play money with money that you can afford to lose and don't go play long hours if you win a small amount or you have triple your bankroll call it quit if you want to profit.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best way to go about making a crypto casino. on: March 25, 2024, 01:58:31 PM
Totally makes sense, all the replies here are valid.

Yeah its difficult to find a dev to help create this sort of thing that you can trust at the start.

While looking for consultants why not collaborate with marketing experts here these people have insight and contacts to casino operators that could lead you to people who can help materialize your plan, marketing people here are trustworthy they can give you a good lead on the road to realizing your goal.

And while at it, why not start with setting up a domain, It's hard to think of a domain that is gambling-related that will make a good impression on the gambling community, and having a domain you can have something to present to your potential partners.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: brazil sanctioned law that taxes online betting in the country on: March 25, 2024, 11:55:25 AM

Summary of the story: the government wants to be our partner only in gains, but in losses, we alone are forced to bear the financial losses. Very convenient, right?
That's how a government works they want you to share what you have, not only on winnings, on losses on casinos but also from all taxable profit and sales or everything where you are making a profit, they don't care about your losses they only care about your gains.

Quote
What do you think of this? Is there any regulation in the betting sector in your country?
Your government only taxes you here in our country, the government manages the casinos and many profitable gambling platforms, they get all the taxes and they all get the profits.

Quote
Do you think the government should really collect alternative sources of income from its citizens such as online gambling?
Can we do something about it, can we complain, I'm ok with it as long as the profit and all the taxes are being used for the welfare of the citizens, here in our country corruption is so rampant that you have a hard time accepting all these taxes.

244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best way to go about making a crypto casino. on: March 24, 2024, 03:00:50 PM

So I am wondering if anyone here knows a place where we could whip up a simple MVP crypto casino to be done at a cost effective price, or even partner with an existing one to bring it to market.

You seem to know more than we know you have done your research already and you're not someone to be lured to pay higher fees for deceptive developers, why not create a topic on the service section and post your desire that you want to set up a casino and want to form a team or get in touch with a consultant.

A specific thread on what you want will gain a lot of attention from those already working in casinos, but continue your research as there are bad players in the industry, so you will not get deceived by their offers and suggestions.
245  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naranasan Nyo Na Ba Na Masisi Dahil Sa Cryptocurrency on: March 24, 2024, 02:34:47 PM

246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 01:46:14 PM
You're lucky bro that the casino's support is responsive and understands the situation, they understand that things like this happen, and maybe because they do not have this on their terms.
Things like this happen so we should not feel comfortable when sending and receiving funds at our address whether it is a custodial or noncustodial wallet or wallet coming from any platform always check and double the correctness of the address.

It's good that you created this topic for awareness newbies do not about wallet updates on platforms where you make deposits and about clipboard malware, so you must make it a habit of checking your address even if it takes time, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 23, 2024, 04:29:53 PM

I am just wondering if anyone here have ever been in a similar situation before? That is, gambling until you are completely broke with nothing to fall back on?
No money in the bank, no cash in the hand, what did you do?

I hope no one here was on that kind of position, that's a desperate situation if you are on this kind of situation and you are worse than a beggar, because a beggar can keep a money while you keep losing it because of your addiction.

Quote
Or maybe gambled until you are one bet away from going broke (if you lose), do you go ahead and risk the money, or cancel the bet and  keep that money for something more important?
I have not done that I always have a line that I created where I have set my boundary, if you keep doing this habit of betting, you will eventually go home penniless, you should never bet your last money you will feel self pity if you want to buy a cheap item like a cigarette and you can't.

250  Local / Pilipinas / Re:Crypto Taxation on: March 22, 2024, 11:38:56 PM

Quote
Sa pagkakaintindi ko kasi, if may pumasok na "income" mula sa iyo from different sources, taxable ito dito sa Pilipinas. If they were to approve cryptocurrencies as taxable entities, then ibig sabihin din kaya nito na magkakatax ang signature campaign earnings natin weekly? I really think na medyo magiging complicated ang implementation nito. The only way I see this from happening is if sa mismong exchange magkakatax doon if you convert your BTCs to cash respectively.
Mas maganda kung ganun kasi pwede makaiwas kung ang balak mo ay mag hold na lang at kung wala kang income walang ibabawas sa yo kasi walang papasok para i trade mo

Quote
I just hope na hindi ito maging kasing burden sa atin. Instead of taxing it, dapat nga mas active ang government natin in promoting cryptocurrencies as an avenue of opportunities for investments.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navarrete Vs Berinchyk Vacant WBO World Lightweight Title May 18 2024 on: March 22, 2024, 10:45:16 PM
Navarrette has fought better fighters than Berinchyk, Berinchyk is aggressive and loves to slug it out but Navarrette has fought the toughest in the divisions where he campaigns and one of these is the match against Dogboe, their classic two fights has won me the heart of many boxing fans.
I'm not saying this is an easy fight for Navarrete but he has enough skill and power to beat a fighter like Berinchyk.
I voted for Navarrete to win by knock out, Lightweight division will give him a lot of challenge, Kambosos and Loma are still tough contender for this division.
252  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do I tell people about my crypto escrow services/server? on: March 21, 2024, 11:29:36 PM
Escrow business is one of the hardest businesses to establish because it involves trust and reputation because people are entrusting their money to your platform if you don't know what reputation and trust is don't run this kind of business.

You know you are trustworthy because you are confident that you are, start with people you know because they know how trustworthy you are, and from there slowly build it up, trust is something that adds up and leads to another client.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 21, 2024, 11:00:48 PM

I’m only reading this issue on scam accusation but this is painful if happened to me like hitting max multiplier on slot games that result to 50K profit. Can’t imagine finally hitting my dream multiplier then casino seize my profit.

This is our number one nightmare besides losing your bankroll from chasing your losses, we have in our mind this possibility that it could happen to us one day because we are in a gambling platform, and in a gambling platform anything can be expected like you can win hundred multiplier and earn huge amount of money.

The only WAY to address this issue is to play in a reputable casino and follow their terms so they will not have a reason to deny your payout because if they do, they will lose their reputation
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football teams create a kind of community on: March 20, 2024, 11:55:14 PM

The point is why does football create such a tension and division that can even result to fight and dispute sometimes.

It's not only football the same can happen to other sports, like Basketball and hockey, especially if the competing teams are representing their regions like in the NBA.

We are a Basketball crazy country and some fans are so fanatic that there's always tension whenever there's a championship match and fans and teams will engage to thrash talks and jeering that could result in fistfights.
When tensions are building up it is important that officials are fair and strict with their rules

Your feedback regarding the title is appreciated, and I am open to updating it to better reflect the essence of our service. If you have a good suggestion, I would love to hear it.
You haven't changed it and I will not suggest any title because it's not my platform that I'm promoting, you just have to be transparent, people are educated to know the difference, you know how your platform works don't make them believe in something that it's not, you make it appear it's free but there's a catch.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 20, 2024, 10:35:03 PM

Yes, that's what Mexican are known for, total action in the ring, just like the last great Mexican boxers JCC Sr, or the JMM, MAB and EM, they all give us great fights in the ring and I think it will continue like that for the next generation of Mexican boxers.

Now both are Mexicans so we should expect no clinching but just fighting it out and see who are the best right now. It could define like the transfer of authority to Munguia as the next face of boxing if he beat Nelo hear. Or Canelo still some fire inside of him and continue to welcome anyone, Berlanga, Bivol and David Benavidez in his next fight.

Munguia's time to shine will not come to this fight, what Floyd Mayweather did against the then-young Canelo, Canelo will do the same against Munguia, Canelo is now a polished fighter who knows how to deal with Munguia's eagerness and aggressiveness, Canelo displayed when he fought Mayweather.

I expect a unanimous decision so as not to embarrass Munguia in front of the Mexicans or he will knock Mungia to show the Mexicans how a great Mexican boxer he is.
Its going to be Canelo all the way, could have been different if is Benavide
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Online Casinos Publish Their Bankroll? Your Thoughts? on: March 20, 2024, 04:57:47 PM

>my opinion is that legit casinos should publish the bankroll amount as I think a big bankroll will attract big and small players and a small bankroll will only attract small players if at all.

Bankroll should not be a measure of how a casino can become legit, reputation and how they treat the gambling community, are the measures, it should not be a battle of bankroll because if that's the case the playing field will not be equal, the big casinos will always have the edge, and there will be manipulation and besides casinos need to secure their platform from bad actors.

I think you should even if they do not comment so you'll get the numbers on who is against and who will agree, I always create a poll to know who agrees and who is not on my topic

258  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Leads to Colabs/Promoters ? on: March 20, 2024, 04:22:37 PM
Does anyone have any suggestions or know an individual or groups that would be interested in doing a direct promotion to raise awareness and help grow the 8ombard platform?

You could run a signature campaign in the forum I guess. Many people here wear casino signatures and get paid for it. Hhampuz is a well known campaign manager and you can talk to him if you are interested in this. There are posters willing to work for every budget. Obviously the more you pay, the more quality posters you will attract. If you expect people to promote your platform for free, you are in the wrong place probably.

They already have one running right now and it's being managed by Yahoo

8ombard Signature & avatar campaign

and it started 10 days ago, success in establishing your presence in the industry does not come overnight, the signature campaign is already good for awareness, from here you can build your supporters and community, keep on creating events, and competitions to grow your community and address every issue as they come the key is consistency.
259  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Im looking for a partner on: March 20, 2024, 03:14:27 PM
HOPEFULLY FOUND SOMEONE.

This is the most unusual post I have ever encountered  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy OP is looking for a partner without providing details

I'm trying your game. First of all, I'm curious, why do you come to bitcointalk to promote your work?
If I guess correctly, you want to make this game a web3 game based on blockchain. In this way, it has the meaning of "PLAY-TO-EARN". From this perspective, there's a lot to think about in your game.
First: your game is a Sims-like work. Games like this seem to be rare in the P2E mode, maybe it’s a gimmick. However, P2E games have a typical problem: "playability" and "payback cycle" are difficult to balance. If players come for P2E purposes, then the importance of "playability" will give way to the "recovery cycle."
Second: the production speed of gold coins. If gold coins correspond to game tokens on the chain, inflation must be considered. How to achieve balance between "output and consumption" and whether you have reliable market-making means to control the depreciation speed of gold coins are issues that need to be considered.
Third: the balance of characters. I found that among the characters that can be created, Superman seems to have the best attributes. Why did you design it this way?
Fourth: interactivity. I'm personally very interested in street racing and fights. Based on your game, I have an idea. If a dual-token system is implemented, gold coins are the base currency and diamonds are in limited supply. Then we could set up a leaderboard based on street races and fights. Statistics are conducted daily or weekly, and the top 100 or even the top 1,000 on the list will be awarded different amounts of diamonds. Diamonds can buy more advanced equipment and more special assets. In this mode, gold coins will only serve the character's attributes, and players need more gold coins to exchange for resources to strengthen themselves.
Fifth: Web games seem outdated. You should have the idea of making an APP.
If you think my suggestion is good, I hope we can communicate in more detail. This is my email: qzl9799@gmail.com.
At the same time, I also hope to join your team and try an interesting thing together.

Then came a newbie posting a lot for potential partnerships it should be the other way around  Cheesy Cheesy
@qzl9199 you should be the one creating a thread and looking for a partner have you communicated before creating this post.
260  Other / Meta / Re: Reasons of be inactive on: March 20, 2024, 02:11:03 PM

I observed that the reason why some active members became inactive in the forum is as result of lacks of campaigns, I don't know if anyone have noticed that, I don't want to call names of people who has reduce their activity in the forum based their not in campaign...it means that many users will silent forum if signature campaign is not on forum, these is my little observations.

We do not know the actual numbers and no one's posting here that he will be inactive because he cannot participate in signature campaigns, but what I'm sure of is there is life outside of this forum that some members need to prioritize.
I have friends whom, I refer here and they were on vacation because of their food business and it takes up a lot of their time some friends on Facebook who have an account here are busy with their freelancing jobs or personal lives and they prefer to be investors.
