241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EURO 2020 England vs Italy - Poll ⚽ on: July 09, 2021, 12:07:56 PM
Thanks to all of you who contributed so far! It's a very interesting poll both in terms of results (so far, it looks everyone thinks/wants/hopes that Italy will win the Cup) and discussion.
The poll's open until Sunday afternoon so hopefully we'll reach at least 50 votes (the minimum I had in mind to place a bet).
64.3% for Italy is a lot!

Also when talking about Pfizer never forget who they really are

Pfizer's no charity guys. I don't buy they wanna save the world and looking at the high adverse reaction rate of their thing (that's no vaccine, but sperimental drug) I'm more and more convinced not to get the jab.

And here there's another useless competition where we can lose our hard earned money via betting! Grin
Of course, I'm in!
Fehervar-Ararat Over 2,5 goals
Inter Turku-Puskas Akademia Over 2,5 goals
Birkirkara-La Fiorita Over 2,5 goals
Siroki Brijeg-Vllaznia Over 2,5 goals
Sant Julià-Gzira United Over 2,5 goals

These are my picks with absolutely no clue of what I'm betting on, never heard of these teams before. Therefore I might be very correct and win the bet! Trust me!  Grin
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / EURO 2020 England vs Italy - Poll ⚽ on: July 08, 2021, 12:47:56 PM

Which team will win between Italy and England? Anticipation's growing for the Euro 2020 final that will be held on Sunday at Wembley, London UK.

These are the two teams indicated by bettors as the big favorites to win the European Championship since France was eliminated.

Italy, after having won all three matches in its group, struggled in the round of 16 against Austria, while its success against Belgium was a bit clearer. In the semifinals, against Spain, it was an authentic battle that was resolved with penalties.

England, on the other hand, against Denmark, got the only goal of the entire competition. The Southgate's boys suffered a bit too much in 120' but then found a second goal with the usual HurryKane.

Looking at the betting odds, England is slightly favored over Italy, but the prediction is undoubtedly open, even if playing in a stadium like Wembley full of English fans, where Italians should be less than 10,000, could be a determining factor.

Let's crowdsource the bet for the regular 90 minutes: what is going to be the end result after 90 minutes?
Your move!
245  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-07-02 CNBC - Bitcoin mining consumed 56% green energy in June quarter on: July 07, 2021, 07:28:32 AM
Great find stompix, I didn't know that. It's almost impossible to keep up with the news as there are too many things going on. Certainly, though, mining is a business like all others and in the end it's about P/L and margins, lots of margins. I wouldn't be surprised if miners would move to Australia for example (Australia's the largest coal finder and burner in the world).
Cheap electricity, bigger profits: this equation will always stand.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will China's crackdown on Bitcoin cause Bitcoin to become worthless? on: July 07, 2021, 07:23:24 AM
I think that one of the best positive news for bitcoin has been that of China banning bitcoin mining. Now mining's getting greener (so naysayers have nothing to complain about), decentralization is ramping up and even old timer are reusing their gears which have been long forgotten.
I put 50TH on slush just for fun. I'm gonna receive peanuts but I'm a miner!!! Cheesy
247  Economy / Economics / Re: The trend of prices is still upward, any hope for downward? on: July 07, 2021, 07:20:52 AM
The money inflow into the financial economy (not the real one) has been to hhuge to be absorbed without consequences. Prices won't go down, they can only go up. Expect some huge rises on old good assets like land, gold, real estate (I mean good properties). These trillions of fake paper money will have to be paid at some point but my question is who's gonna really pay for it?
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 07, 2021, 07:16:08 AM
Great match yesterday between Italy and Spain, seeing the Iberians play I was convinced of their potential. The Spanish dominated in terms of ball possession and the Italians arrived exhausted at the end and this will definitely weigh on the final.
Two wonderful goals by Chiesa and Morata and then the penalties decided everything. Italians much more concentrated at the end than the Spanish and this led them to win the latest shots.

When you know what Bitcoin is about you don't need to be reminded by anyone about its true value. Supporters like Michael Saylors will come and go but the most important thing of it all is to never forget what bitcoin stands for.

Berrettini's journey continues on the English grass, beating Belarusian Ilya Ivashka 3 sets to 0 in the round of 16 at Wimbledon without any worries. The Italian left only one service turn to his opponent in an hour and 49 minutes of play, but only in the second set and with a comfortable 5-2 advantage with a double break. There was too much difference between the two players, with the Italian number one statistically giving up only in the aces (7 to 8 for Ivashka), but dominating in all the other fundamental categories (the differential between the Italian's winners and those of the Belarusian is even +20, despite a few more unforced errors).

Found the latest line-ups for the upcoming Argentina Colombia
ARGENTINA 4-3-3
E. Martinez; Molina, Pezzella, Otamendi, Acuña; De Paul, Paredes, Lo Celso; Messi, L. Martinez, Gonzalez.
COLOMBIA 4-4-2
Ospina; Muñoz, Mina, Sanchez, Tesillo; Cuadrado, Cuellar, Barrios, Diaz; Zapata, Muriel.

Leo Messi looks really determined to reach the final and win La Copa America for the first time, which could also be his first real trophy with Argentina in his history.
He won basically everything with clubs but nothing with his national team.

From a pure betting and gambling perspective Italy Spain is a great match: there are so many stats and data to look for before placing this bet that one could go nuts.
A few hints:
ITA: The Azzurri are unbeaten in their last 32 international matches (27 wins, five draws)
ESP: La Roja leads the tournament with 12 goals
The Italians have scored an average of 2.67 goals over their last 12 games and they could be scoring at least twice over regular times.
Spain's best attack could do the rest so a great bet for this game is over 2.5 goals.

Some news from La Liga, in fact it seems that Real Madrid has decided and they are strongly convinced that the adventure of Isco with the Merengues' jersey has come to the end of the line. For this reason, the agent is proposing him to different clubs and, according to some sport news outlets, today AC Milan is thinking about signing him.

In the quarterfinals, Peru eliminated Paraguay on penalties. Regular game had ended at 3-3. Gustavo Gomez gave the Paraguayan selection the illusion of an early lead. Then he put the team in trouble with an own goal and an expulsion, which came after the momentary 2-1 Peruvian goal, signed by Lapadula. Lots of emotions characterized the second half: Junior Alonso rebalanced the situation, Yoshimar Yotun put Peru back ahead, Carrillo got himself sent off and also left Gareca's team in ten, Gabriel Avalos again restored parity. Then, as mentioned, Paraguay surrendered from the eleven meters.
The dream may stop there as I think Brazil's gonna win easily against Peru.

They call it Manic Monday, the first Monday of the 2nd week of Wimbledon. To reach it is already a small conquest: it means to have survived the first, hellish seven days and to have become part of the restricted club of the best sixteen. Among these there is also the class Sebastian Korda, who surprisingly imposed himself on the specialists De Minaur and Evans, both overcome in three sets. The American has talent and, despite still being very young, is showing it a bit on all surfaces. In the round of 16 he will face another who, according to the forecasts, should not have reached so high: the Russian Karen Khachanov. Who, in the third round, didn't even leave the crumbs to the excellent Tiafoe, who in turn executed Tsitsipas at the beginning.
Right now Korda leads on Kachanov 5-2

Ok for some pure speculation on the final results of this Euro 2020, below my thoughts on Italy Spain:
- two completely different teams on completely different stages because while Italy is almost at the top of its shape after a 3yrs of Mancini's work, Spain looks me like a shooting star ready to disappear.
4 yrs ago it was the opposite so I believe Italy should win the match and reach the final.

PSG, an incredible revelation: Sergio Ramos has rejected a Man UTD offer to keep its new french jersey.
Today's edition of the Daily Mirror tells a market backstory related to Sergio Ramos. According to the British newspaper, the Spanish defender, on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain, has rejected an offer from Manchester United. The Red Devils would have proposed to the former Real Madrid central a £10 million contract.

So, Denmark was the first team to reach the semifinals of an edition of the European Championships after losing two games in the group stage of the competition.
In Baku, the European dream continues for the Danish national team that overcomes the Czech obstacle and reaches the semifinals (the last time was in 1992), where it will face England (at the Wembley stadium).
Delaney immediately opened the scoring with a great head shot, then at the end of the first half, Dolberg doubled the score on a wonderful assist by Maehle. The Czech Republic scored in the second half with the usual Schick, but after the triple whistle, it's time for Denmark to celebrate and keep dreaming.
Problem is that waking up, England is right before their eyes.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 04, 2021, 06:25:53 AM
Months before we heard a news where to increase the chances of people getting vaccinated they government gave them a chance to win prizes, lotteries and even in some countries you are allowed to travel for free. Yet again the Government of Poland announced quite an unusual prize for people who have gotten pifzer. You are eligible to participate in the lottery plus the prizes are up to 260,000$!!!! Which is a great news. But unfortunately only 35% of the people in Poland are vaccinated yet. Not only that read this :
Quote
From 1 July every 500th person to take the dose will receive a cash prize of PLN200, while every 2,000th person will receive PLN500. The Polish Government will be giving away five prizes of PLN50,000 every week for three months, alongside the incentive each month to receive PLN100,000 and a Toyota Corolla for two lucky winners. The final winners will scoop up the PLN1m and a Toyota CH-R each... If you were thinking of moving to Poland, then now’s your chance. And if you need an electric scooter, they’re flogging them too, 720 to be precise.

Now that's a gamble that you gotta try! If you are from Poland then you have to get the shot! I do think this is an interesting gamble for the people there what do you think ? ?

https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/12395/pfizer-for-prizes-as-poland-launches-covid-lottery
lol this is just a copy from what other country did previously and i Believe it is in Oklahoma if i am not mistaken that offers lottery wins for those who will be participating in vaccination .

But this is a good step still for the increasing demand from the government to stop this virus.

The question is will this stop on lotteries and gambling or do we anticipate that government will allow access to each and every facility only to those people who are vaccinated  Huh

I heard that in some part the government is giving tax relief to the people who got vaccinated. Soon vaccine will be made mandatory.

This is already happening in Pakistan and indirectly vaccine is mandatory if you want to buy a sim, go to wedding or cinema's.

Only vaccinated people will be allowed to enter wedding halls, cinemas: NCOC

Punjab govt decides to block SIM cards of people refusing vaccines
I'm not against vaccines, let's specify that. They have been very important in the history of medicine to eradicate various pathogens (smallpox, polio above all). But this anti-covid19 vaccination charade where experimental drugs (not vaccines) have been licensed on an emergency basis and will end clinical trials in 2023, I don't like it at all.
Vaccine blackmail doesn't appeal to me at all, and it undercuts something intriguingly suspicious. I do not belong to risk categories, I take all the necessary precautions (mask, hand disinfection, distance from others ...) but at the moment, even in agreement with my GP, the risk-benefit ratio in my case is not in favor of vaccination. And I honestly don't know what to do with a fricking lottery ticket, a pint of beer or a joint.

The amazing performances of Middleton and Holiday make it 4-2 and drag Milwaukee to the finals!
The Milwaukee Bucks return to the NBA finals for the first time since 1974 and they do it dragged by two thirds of their "Big Three" (with Giannis Antetokounpo still out). A sensational performance by Khris Middleton, who scores 23 of his 32 points in the decisive third quarter, and an excellent game by Jrue Holiday, while Atlanta fields Trae Young but the Hawks' superstar doesn't even remotely resemble the player capable of enchanting them in the playoffs.
Off to the great finals now.
