I just clicked on his profile, saw that he has indeed over 5000 posts in this short time, clicked on last post, immediately saw this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=441694.msg4901283#msg4901283

and made my decision that this users contend is worthless.

Yes I'm judging quickly sometimes.  Undecided

How bit is Apples Marked share?

Just wondering if that wouldn't basically work for all groups anyway.

79% Janitors would never consider using a phone like I-phone  Tongue

243  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Soon only sharks will mine ... on: February 06, 2014, 01:01:49 PM
The only good way to start mining is invest 10.000$ - 15.000$ minimum.
Then we can talk.

How is someone who invest that much not affected by the rising difficult?

He's not. but investing 10k-15k$ will make it more sure that you will get your money back and earn some more.

You still haven't explained why that is. I know several who have invested quite more. Why should someone with 15k get more BTC per invested $ than someone who only invests 1000?

If you buy 1 TH for 10,000 or 100GH for 1,000 makes no difference in the $ to BTC ratio.
244  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in Aliens? on: February 06, 2014, 12:57:00 PM
Some single cell organism that eventually spawned all this came from somewhere in the great vastness we call the universe
Yes, I agree. "Aliens" are often portrayed as grey beings with hands and feet like we do. They may very well be very primitive organisms such as bacteria/virus in water. I remember watching a documentary about the possibility of liquid water in one of Jupiter's moons.

Intelligent beings takes billions of years to evolve into, and may not last very long (judging by our pollution and weapons capability). Finding another alien species at around our evolution stage is actually extremely difficult. So, if we were to find alien lifeforms, it would be primitive organisms like bacteria/virus.

Good point.

We also don't know how likely it is for Live to develop at all, even if all the conditions are perfectly met. Is it a certainty that live develops if a planet has the right descitions or still very rare? Also even if live develops, how probable is it that an intelligent species develops and at the same time is outfitted with the tools (Hands!) to make use of this intelligents? If dolphins where even more intelligent than Humans they still couldn't build anything to develop a civilization.

In Billions of species on this planet, this happened exactly once! It actually could have been universes event of 50 Tails in a row.
245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info app removed from Apple App Store on: February 06, 2014, 10:07:41 AM
I use their laptops for my djing, so Apple isn't going anywhere for me soon...

They won't be getting any bitcoin donations though..that's for sure!

 Huh

Why would you donate to an enterprise that makes Billions?
246  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Soon only sharks will mine ... on: February 06, 2014, 09:56:00 AM

A big mining farm suffers the same effects + they have much heavier effects of running expenses, like power, cooling, rent and maybe even staff. They have to shut down the very moment they are not profitable.

Mining is not about "printing" money. It is designed to be a highly competitive field with minimal gains.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome, Apple. Seriously. on: February 06, 2014, 09:50:54 AM
I wonder how much it would cost to publish something like this in the New York Times like Steve Jobs did years ago....

Maybe another electronic spot could be purchased on a high traffic website via crowd funding here.

I pledge BTC0.1 toward this. Just for the lulz. (I don't even care about apple as I have never used one)

Nice:

The common denominator of all these applications – and the real value of the Bitcoin experiment – is a digital basis for trust: the "block chain", which allows transactions to be recorded without reams of red tape. Get rid of the red tape, and you could also get rid of those who make money by dealing with it.

That's something so many even here seem not to understand. The Blockchain is the big invention of Bitcoin.

Not for example "printing" your own money via mining.

Also aufpassen max 255,99999999 coins zu schürfen.   Tongue

Richtig. Und gerade Apple. Vergessen Ihre Wurzeln bzw. eigenen Worte ...

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward.” – Apple, Inc.

Year, because the whole point of Bitcoin is "printing your own money". Everyone as much as you need and we all are going to be rich  Roll Eyes

Go play in the Altcoin Kindergarten if you believe this.

Too bad thermos is never going to bother trying to fix these issues... Or properly fix any other issues for that matter.

I doubt that thermos can do anything but keep my Coffee nice and warm.

255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon? on: February 05, 2014, 04:00:38 PM
If the number is so important why cant we replace the lost coins?

Because it would undermine confidence in BTC and it's not necessary at all. Just split them up!

how would it undermine confidence if the coins will not be undermined but just mined?

The Value of coins is under the premise that there currently are only about 12 Million coins and that there will be only 21 Million. Also every lost coin is basically priced in.

"Issuing" More would reduce the value of every coin, also it would undermine the confidence that the new Max, truly is a max.

Luckily, it's simply not possible without the agreement of the users.

257  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC explode again? on: February 05, 2014, 01:42:20 PM
What is your guess?

This week, a month? A Quarter, A year?

What will be the top of the mountain this time?

How about, ~1 Year for the actual infrastructure to catch up after 1 Year of crazy growth.

After that again growth, but not as Bubblish and crazy like it recently as almost everyone is already aware of BTC?
258  Local / Presse / Re: SPIEGEL Printausgabe (48 /2013) - Fail on: February 05, 2014, 12:42:34 PM

Grin

Ne, Comedy schau ich eher abends

Vermutlich keine...

Ich habs befürchtet  Sad

259  Local / Presse / Re: SPIEGEL Printausgabe (48 /2013) - Fail on: February 05, 2014, 12:18:42 PM
