241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 29, 2024, 01:06:19 PM
It seems that the game was going there but it didn't, a lot of turnovers and missed free throws for the Suns.

Anyway, congratulations to TWolves for sweeping the Suns that are going to pay hundreds of millions close to half to their three superstars for this result.

That's the risk of forming a Superteam, because when a team choose to build a Superteam, it's expected that they'll be in the championship but a first round exit, is a big disappointment. Giving up Ayton was a big mistake, he was a very dominant big man so they really miss a production on that area.

Also, the team has no real point guard, so the ball movement is really a problem. It's fine that CP3 was traded but the big man, I think it should have not happen. Also, Beal seemed not the same anymore, his injury have change his confidence, he is just like Klay Thompson now.
We have seen superteams that didn't succeed and disappointed their team management. There's certainly a big problem with these superteams nowadays.

That's why building from scratch is a good thing that some teams are doing like the Kings, Nuggets, Bucks although they've added some help through Lillard eventually.

I also agree that having no big man with the Suns is a big mistake.

This Suns vs Timberwolves game has been pretty close with plenty of lead changes. All the superstars are having great games. This one is fun to watch. Durant and KAT especially are having great games.
Yeah, very close.

Remaining time is 7:38 minutes in the 4th quarter and Edwards has got 20+ points and still a lot of time remaining. While Booker got 42 points.

This could be an OT later.

I was hoping for an OT but Suns could not convert their shots, the defense of Timberwolves is so good. Now, this team who exited will still be the same team next season, I wonder how the management would feel after investing a lot of money for the big 3 that they could not get a first round pick. They are getting old, and they lack players especially the 2nd unit who could help Durant and Booker, I don't know how they'll work that out next season but they have to.

Not that I believe Lakers would win the series, I think the series has been long over for a long time now and next game will be at Denver, with that famous altitude, and I believe that Denver will end up winning that game.
There is no way to control the entire series but happy to see Lakers at least get that win instead of having a big egg on their standings with Denver Nuggets for each playoffs they face each other.

It is so hard to stop Murray and Jokic together, and they are doing so well now.
Still an underrated tandem that many of the NBA fans don't recognize. But as they say, this series is like to end with a 4-1.
245  Other / Off-topic / Re: Read the Cryptocurrency Industry Report for the First Quarter of 2024 in 1 min on: April 28, 2024, 11:16:32 PM
Overall we can say that crypto has had a good run this year so far and I am confident that this is not where crypto will end. I am sure that we will see much more good news for the whole crypto community in the next following months.

The community has not stopped growing ever since and more and more people are being influenced to finally take the step and invest.
Yeah, this start of year is already great and this gives us to set the expectation that the bull run is going to be greater as it starts.

Halving was done and before the date of halving came, we've seen the ATH reached and crossed over and that's why it's giving that positive speculations before this year ends and for the next year to come.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lies told to cover up gambling habit on: April 28, 2024, 10:33:00 PM
Try a deeper meaning, if you read the truth about why someone can claim that gambling is a hobby of his to seek pleasure, here I am not trying to find validation, but look at how a person treats a hobby whatever the field is, and if someone is impulsive then he is trapped in the hobby itself which causes addiction, then there is no such thing as a hobby anymore in him, because if you look at me personally I come when I want and gamble to feel happy, especially when I am with friends.

It is true that winning will bring great pleasure into our lives, and losing will get sadness is the doctrine that occurs, but it is not that simple if you understand what is called seeking entertainment in gambling, and the name of the entertainment place definitely requires you to spend money.
There's actually no deeper meaning with that. Someone will say that they're for the hobby but gets emotional when they're losing money and seem to be not prepared for it.

You will always gamblers tell that they are there to gamble for fun but when they win, it is giving more fun. Ans when they are on a losing streak, it is no longer fun.

It is entertaining and fun to gamble but it is certainly a lie that gamblers who tell that, are only actual for fun.
The majority are gambling for money, that is the reality. It is possible any of you guys is one of those gamblers who can't afford to lose and blame other people for your losses. I was skeptical of those who were saying just for fun as this is not the main reason, I might consider it if they are rich but if these words are coming from poor and average people, that is impossible.

As a gambler, we know what is in our mind when gambling - that is to win. It means that we are in the chase of money, not for fun or entertainment.
That's true, we're all for it. Whether we admit it or not but I guess it also depends on the mood that we're having. Like if we're happy and losing today isn't a problem, we can reason out that we're only gambling for fun and not actually for the money.

We've got mood swings so reasonings are changing.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: April 28, 2024, 09:21:58 PM
Debt is good for those that understands it and I still stand that debt is used properly can generate good wealth for you.
For business, it's actually a good debt. But for someone who'd use debt for his personal pleasure, it's a bad debt and not recommended to you.

What most of the people don't understand about debt is using it for important and emergency purposes. But nowadays, people are also taking care of their mental healths and using debts for their pleasure and vacation.

Well, that's them and I am not going to ask for a debt and will use it for vacation. If I can't afford to go on, then I won't go and will save up for that.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: April 28, 2024, 08:30:31 PM
Those are top coins in the market and those are good choices.

Yes, no doubt that they have strong fundamentals and we have seen the pumps that has came to those. Still, btc's dominance on the market makes it the best choice of them all whether you trade or hold.

No doubt coins like ETH, BNB are good choices but there price moment is tightly linked with BTC. If BTC moves up these alts go up and vice verse. So why not focus on BTC then to invest on alts that are dependent on BTC for price moment.
To me whether you go for BTC or alts the success lies in long term investment not in short term. Just invest in BTC and HODL, the best way to invest in BTC is to adopt DCA strategy. So far results of DCA for 4 to 5 years are very much hofty.
I am also suggesting to buy BTC instead of many alts. But we can't force people into buying it if their main strategy is to hold a lot of altcoins for this bull run.

Because with what they think is that it's best to have a lot of it for their preparation for the upcoming bull run.

If it is not going to work for them then they can always do the strategy that we're doing and that is to hold Bitcoin no matter what the market status is.

Another big fucking lie is that it's a hobby or I'm doing it for fun, your doing it for fun and it's costing you a fortune then you must be a fucking out of your mind, I've heard some person saying that they take gambling as a hobby and that is the biggest fraud lie anyone told himself, do you feel bad when you lose? Yes, then how is that fun, fun is supposed to be entertaining not to make you sad about lose.

Projects like ETH, BNB,SOl etc have very strong fundamentals and they are returning some very good profits to their investors as well. Yes BTC has influence on these a little bit that can't decide the bright future of these coins..I think they'll come more stronger in upcoming time.

251  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you know any good ways to promote a mobile application game? on: April 28, 2024, 10:23:50 AM
yeah , there are influencer that we can use to promote our online businesses and as what I am seeing here in my country now?
this is really helpful .
But you have to pay them with hefty talent fee but sure they are effective when they have a lot of fans that they show the mobile app.

It is the new trend and many brands are asking for the influencers to advertise their products and services because they have a specific target niche to market.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I believe crypto prices in general will pop after May 1-2. Here is why. on: April 28, 2024, 08:11:00 AM
IMO, there is always the effect of whatever the FED does nowadays that is related to finance. As for this meeting, it is possible that you are saying with sense.

Although over all, I do not know what actually is happening there on the dates that you have given. But, I think that i have seen those news where the FED did something or reported and the crypto market reacted a lot.
253  Other / Off-topic / Re: Objective look at schooling on: April 28, 2024, 07:22:14 AM
We all need to learn and there is always the start of it but there is no ending on it.

So learning is a continuous process that will be done by all of us and that is what creatures that have brain does like you and me and others too.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: April 28, 2024, 04:25:31 AM
But it doesn't matter if he is well disciplined in the sense that one week only gambling $20 or below stays at that limit then I consider it still a normal limit.
Setting that kind of limit is actually good. As long as the amount is affordable and within the threshold, it is good.

Newbies forget that once they have enjoyed gambling and they become fiercer as they get more bets.

And upon results, when they are in most losses, they cannot let it pass so they become aggressive.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making the Most of $100 bankroll on: April 27, 2024, 10:42:50 PM
With $100 bankroll I will place a single bet on sports with $20, if it win place another single bet with $20 + profits from the previous bet.
And if it win again, do another yolo bet with $20+ previous profits, for example with the odds 2x:
$20 bet - win = $40
$40 bet - win = $80
$80 bet - win = $160 => stop, and start from the beginning with $20 bet
If it lose on any stage, always back to $20 bet.

I suggest not to place a $5 bet on 20 different bets, it will be hard to win anything with that way.
While it looks a good strategy but you may have trouble with some of your bets along your way. It's doable and possible but it's not going to be as easy as it may seem to be.

But as you've said that if you ever lose, you shall go bak to $20 and if OPs friend can afford to lose $20 per bet then he can copy this strategy of yours.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 27, 2024, 10:02:54 PM
OKC wins against the Pelicans and it's now 3-0. SGA dropped 24 points and he's really an underrated player for me.

^ I don’t think the Nuggets will be giving the Lakers anything. I think they want another sweep over LeBron to send a message. This will be an interesting game to watch though. I don’t think the Lakers win
As much as I want them to give anything to Lakers even 1 game, it is a game that no one gives anything to the others and no one owes a thing or two to the other teams, so it's true. This might become 4-0 when we've mostly hearing fans say 4-1.

but the thing to watch will be DeAngelo Russell and what sort of effort he brings to the table after seemingly checking out of the last game.
I hope that he won't be looking forward the next Klay but he just did the last game but yeah, let's see if there's a redemption for his lackluster last game.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small general trading place? [I wouldn’t know as I’m fairly new to this] on: April 27, 2024, 09:25:15 PM
Considering the fees are too volatile as well, that $1 of your purchase would mean nothing because it will go to the fees and sometimes it won't even be enough.

You need at least to have $10 for most centralized exchanges to have no problem with the purchase.

Even in P2P, you won't be able to proceed by just purchasing $1 worth of BTC.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: April 27, 2024, 01:43:17 PM
Currently the only option to invest in and hold over the long term is Bitcoin. It is the only truely decentralised cryptocurrency, with a finite supply and being used for its original intention on a regular basis - a storage of wealth that is not impacted by inflation, and the ease of making borderless transactions.
It is deflationary and that's why you're saying that it is not impacted by inflation. But I'd say that it's still being affected by world events and news.

But the good thing about its nature is that it recovers quickly. Its resiliency makes it unique from the other assets and investments that's been known by most and even better compared to altcoins.
259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you care if your play to earn game is fun? on: April 27, 2024, 08:15:56 AM
Gone are the days of the play to earn that they're all fun.

Yes the dramatic changes has made the game system not interesting any more as many game today has negligence on the fun but centered on the money gain, it's quite clear that fun alone can't make game interesting but the both side should be if balance for many don't go for game as fun but for money, but fun is also an attractive parts that making the game more interesting , the best us fun should be in balance with the money.
When your main motivation to play the game is to earn money, you'll lose the fun and eventually excitement will be gone.

That's what many and I have felt with those games that are ran by profit for gamers. But it's a dream for every gamer to earn while having fun, but the game itself is no longer fun.

When you focus on earning on the game, the main purpose of the game really changes and as a fun gamer, you'd feel that.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: April 26, 2024, 11:45:41 PM
The only problem with poor people is they don't change tactics, because gambling is working for Mr.A doesn't mean that it will work for you and if it's going to work, you will have to find a way to explore your own options and see the one that works for you and you will be fine.
The case has been like this.

When a gambler sees another gambler that flourishes to the games that he's betting or gambling with for so long, that gambler that sees that other gambler will try to do the same thing and think that luck is with him as well.

And that's why it's true that whatever works for the others, might not or migth work for you but at most times, it is not going to work for the rest of us.
