241  Economy / Economics / Re: How safe is it to keep your money and gold underground? on: June 01, 2024, 08:46:11 PM
Coins that are put in grannies cookies box are safe. But if they're going to be cash, maybe in less than a week, they're already destroyed.

I am aware of that technique but if you're living in a crowded city and you're just renting an apartment, I'd put that on a bank.  Cheesy

And that will serve as emergency fund but if I already have one, I'd place that on Bitcoin no doubt much better and safer if the people like me knows how to keep it.

Cookie box will rust and that rust will deposit on your coins. Great idea if you want to spend some time cleaning them after you dig them out.
Also, imagine the box rusting all the way through and some of your coins getting lost deep in the dirt.
There are so many ways to store valuables other than putting them in the ground.
The components of the coins might also rust but it won't put that much damage on it. They're sturdy.

You're right about other ways of storing our coins but others want it the old fashioned way but I won't do this.

It's true that they might get lost along the way and who knows if you're living on a land that's moving over the period of time, yes, this is possible. Lands can also move a few inches away.  Grin

243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What type of a trader/investor is this? on: June 01, 2024, 06:22:28 PM
A common greedy investor.

Don't be like him, there have been many opportunities that are coming to us and if you're not going to be as wise as you can be, you'd definitely lose a lot of money.

It's not about how much you make but how much you can keep based on the emotions that you're having at that time of profits.
I assume that person is not greedy but just unaware of the current situation. With a lack of knowledge and market updates could possibly lose their chances to make a profit.

I assume that person is also a long-term investor and doesn't care about today's happenings but is certain about his/her goal a few years from now.
If I was right, this would tell us that the market volatility could give us a chance to earn big but sometimes also could miss it.

That is why I would say that we don't have to feel regret about whatever happens to our investment because we don't have control over the market trend.
He's not a long term investor. He's a trader and made $3k to $80k and did nothing, he said that he didn't took profit.

Possible that he has waited for more to increase the potential profit that he's got but did nothing. Then he has made back to $10k and then lost it again.

A long term investor seeks profit not to seek nothing so I don't think he's not a long term investor, he's aware of the market but greed fed him.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 01, 2024, 05:52:27 PM
I've seen a post from sources that Dennis Schroder played in a German Football team. Yes, a football team. I was just surprised although this isn't the first time that happened from an NBA player.

I just don't know what happened. He's got no more contract now? which team will likely sign him next season?

You've got 22 reviews and all of them are 5 star which makes your google ratings into 5 star ratings. Only 5 of them left some words about your service.

Although they're from 2 years back.
only 22 reviews when the project has been around for years? Doesn’t imply a really positive image even though some of the reviews left 5 stars. Though I guess it is just a small business after all
Well, they can be genuine but they can be not.

Why say 'they'? instead of 'we'?
Op probably is just a paid endorser not a direct representative of the company.
Okay, but he's part of it already when he's a paid endorser of it. And probably that he just stumbled upon the forum and thought that there might be some customers here.

Hopefully, he will be back to have some conversations.

Why say 'they'? instead of 'we'? Anyway, what's with IP protection? I rarely hear this kind of protection from consultants.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be wealthy you need action on: June 01, 2024, 10:03:31 AM
It's difficult to take action when our economy is falling, meaning the principle is difficult to get up, but with enthusiasm and experience we fall in the economy, it becomes a very valuable lesson for us, because to achieve success requires broader and deeper knowledge and experience, with having life principles is much better.
That is true because opportunities are limited and everything is increasing but not even the wages. But on these times, it's torturing us to think better and look for opportunities even the situation is hard.

We have to do what we're used to and expand the knowledge that we have and apply it to any hustle that can help us to get up during these times.

Being wealthy is hard if you have no plan and discipline but I think discipline beats everything.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best guide amd step to learn to buy and trade on: June 01, 2024, 08:35:08 AM
Hi i am new into crypto world and i want to learn as much as possible so i ask if anyone know what is the basic steps to start and what guide is the best? I understand this is most different from what people think.. but it cant hurt to read it all.
First i just want to buy bitcoin for around 1000€. i will look at youtube today what the best way to do it is, then i want to learn trading but i will wait for that until i have teach myself more. we all start from scratch sometime?
I am so thankful for alll members here that taking their time to help me
I hope that you will not be able to watch a youtube video that's all about shilling their new projects. That's what most of the tutorial nowadays.

And after that, you will be guided by them on how to buy that specific token instead of how to buy Bitcoin. Start buying from known exchanges in your country and not with any other global exchange that's not operating in your country.
249  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can ordinary people live consciously? on: June 01, 2024, 07:34:24 AM
Acknowledging almost everything in your surroundings. That's how you live consciously.

But at the end of it, you have to live your life with compassion to others and always be considerate. It's not going to cost you money if you're going to be kind to other at most times.

The summary is here note what the environment your in desire as the word acknowledge may be most preferable let be what you can't change as well don't interfere what you know it's beyond the physical, offend no one but be yourself and give everything around you their due respect, nature is a reciprocate what one gives in become it out avoidance of the unknown even if it may occur as unforseen circumstances make you live more conscious.
I agree.

You should offend no one but we don't know if there are times that we're able to offend someone through our actions and words.

That's why as much as you can, just be yourself and if you think that you're not intentionally hurting anyone and offending them with your moves, it's not your problem if they get offended.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your preferred method of converting bitcoin (or other crypto) to fiat? on: May 31, 2024, 11:47:41 PM
Peer to peer trading is the most convenient mode for me to convert the cryptocurrency to fiat currency. I mean I have been using it since 2017 and never faced any significant challenge. Yes there are risk factors involved. But if you know how to find a reliable person to trade with, you should not face any challenge.
I agree, you only need to see some signs if the person you're trading with has got some red flags. But if you've been trading in the p2p for how many years, you'd notice some slight info that shall stop your trade.

And you'd only do this on a reputed p2p platform.

People need to be very cautious about the pricing being offered. The highest pricing quotation may not be safe every time. Rather look for rating of a trader and the time of the last trade.

Look at the rates and trading history instead.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Bitcoin] woman found with £2bn worth of bitcoin on: May 31, 2024, 11:23:32 PM
Her prison sentence definitely serves her right. She definitely knew what she was doing when she was laundering money for her boss so she has to get their own fair share of punishments now that shit has hit the fan. Soon, we're going to realize that some of the richest bitcoiners/crypto folks we see in CT or any other crypto communities amass those assets from non-legal means. We're not set for that story.
I'm sure that she's getting a good compensation with that. But she can literally stomach that money that others have worked hard for even though she's just a worker.

Even if she denies, her story isn't convincing and the background of her work surely gave her an idea on how the process goes with all of those conversion.

Hopefully those monies will be returned tl the defrauded victims.
I second that, the hardworking people regardless of the race deserves their own money that they sweat and worked for.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $84k the Peak for Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2024, 10:58:31 PM
Just as what we're telling about when might be the bull run or how long we need to wait for the peak, just the same answer - it's only a matter of time.

As for $84k as the peak, we don't have an idea yet. BTC has to break new ATHs first and able to make it to $84k.

$100K or $150K for me is not a wild guess but it makes sense in terms of the cycles combined, some investors expect this to happen soon and we just wait until after the 1 year halving then the rally will come or is it stuck at the current price?

But we are optimistic for bitcoin where there is always an important number value in its new history, maybe we are now a little bored the price continues to be in the current area but the bullish time has not yet arrived now.
I hope so that $100k-$150k will be reached in no time and it's more of the analysis from this thread but it's not also a fantasy based on the historical price and cycle that it has got.

Congratulations.
Did you made that image or you generated it through AI? I like that peaceful village image at night and Bitcoin serves as the moon.
How I wish that all of us will always have a decent and peaceful night.  Smiley

I created the image with AI. Looking at the picture gives a lot of peace of mind. I also love the night, especially the moonlit night.
Me too.

Although I'm living in both worlds of day and night, it's more peaceful at night. What AI software did you use with that?

Is that for free? Because it looks fun to do that whenever I've got a lot of spare time.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Failed crypto project will promote bitcoin more on: May 31, 2024, 09:56:53 PM
altcoins=>tokens=>airdrop>bitcoin
At the end of these exercises investors will turn to bitcoin as the best to invest because of it quality it has. When beginners are going the wrong way in investing cryptocurrency their is nothing that can be done to stop them but the experience they will go through their is a lot to learn from it to true back to the right thing which is bitcoin.
That's why I always tell to invest in Bitcoin first. There's no problem if they're using airdrops and tokens to earn but if they want to stay on this market, Bitcoin will prolong their money.

Unlike with such random projects out there, many aren't telling their losses because it's shameful on how they fell for these failed ones.

But if you're into Bitcoin, compared to them it will no longer 100x-1000x as what they're expecting but the grow it has is stable, slowly but surely.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What type of a trader/investor is this? on: May 31, 2024, 09:29:05 PM
Greed won't bring us that far.

Whether it is with the crypto market, stocks, or even in forex. If you're too greedy, you're going to lose a lot. And that's why do not make the same mistake that you might happen to you too.

Be happy with how much you can potentially earn and stop being bothered with how little you have earned, as long as it is a profit, that must be fine.

If a person feels happy for all the things he has then he will not be involved in greedy behaviour and he will accept the little profit too due to which one day he will be such a successful person that everyone will desire to be a person like that.

Greed cannot give you anything instead of becoming a cause of your non fulfilment therefore avoid greed and move with a clear mind and open mind to welcome the least but sure profit. If you neglect the minimum profit and wish to have more then you will be deprived of everything.
To be honest, it's easy to say that. But when you get into the actual situation, you'll be having a lot of hard time for it.

Although there are many ways for us to control our greed. If you're trading for a very long time, you know how to control it already.

The most prone ones are the newbies when they're too happy looking at their gains but they didn't cashed it out, they'd feel depressed when they start to see the going down of their portfolios.
256  Other / Off-topic / Re: best 2FA app for IOS? on: May 31, 2024, 08:58:08 PM
It doesn't makes sense to use google authenticator for an iOS device. But even with that, if you like to use it, you're free.

The other choices that I've known that are being used by many are authy and aegis. But with aegis, I don't think they have it on iOS.

I've found authenticator app+ it has got 4.8 reviews. I am not an iOS user though but authy seems to be supported in iOS.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: May 31, 2024, 08:28:01 PM
That's crazy when someone believes on that about having a lot of losses, you will now have bigger chance of winning.

The chances won't change and it is constant but you can't just know until you try it. Maybe the casinos are the source about that and they've told about it and it's not just all about Mathematics and statistics.

But, it's always been the best to stop if you are total loss. No reason to continue for that day, I know it's hard and the situation wants you to recover but better to quit.
Just let those people believe on what are on the things that they do have in mind on which on the moment that they would really be having those decision and letting them be able to realize that they were wrong at the end. lol Trying out to believe that after all the wrong ideas into their mind would really be something that would really be a huge lesson for them at the end. This isnt how gambling works on which on the moment that you would be keeping on piling your loses then it would really be continuing and doesnt matter if you have already lost that much or not. It would really be always according on how lucky you would be at the moment that you would be playing and this is something which cant really be known and something that cant really be guaranteed.

Ths is why at the moment that you would really be able to experience loses then it would really be that wise that you should really know on when to make yourself be able to stop.
On the moment that you would really be losing that control then it would really be putting you up on a certain situation which it could potentially destroy your life when it comes to finances
and this is why you should really be that careful.
We can't do anything with that if they're going to realize it at the end that they're wrong with it.

They can believe whatever they want to believe and if they think that they have more chance of winning after losing big. I've been there and done that, so it's best to just stop and analyze if it still makes sense.

If so, having this mindset will make them positive at most times but that being positive in a negative sense.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: May 31, 2024, 07:55:38 PM
Losing a lot of money isn't fun, so stop when you're in that situation. If you can take that and you have a deep pocket, then there is no problem doing it.

If you want to keep on going then you do your own thing but don't deny that people have reminded you that, when you're in deep losses and it's stressing already, you have to stop.

But if you want to proceed, do it with caution because it's no longer fun when you're losing and then there's another series of it.

Right words.
I guess OP just need to be able to admit that hus lost. This is normal, and sometimes the ability to admit it is a victory. Victory over oneself, which in fact is often the heaviest but most valuable prize in the world of gambling.

Probably someone will say that according to mathematics, after many losses, the chance of winning something greatly increases. But I think this is a really bad argument in a dispute with myself. Again, I advise to OP to just accept that gambling turned out to be not profitable and leave this occupation.
I am writing from my own experience.
That's crazy when someone believes on that about having a lot of losses, you will now have bigger chance of winning.

The chances won't change and it is constant but you can't just know until you try it. Maybe the casinos are the source about that and they've told about it and it's not just all about Mathematics and statistics.

If your parents could really see this letter, what would you write?
I am not showy to them.

But I'd say that I love them and even though I have pretty much changed because I have a new priority now, they shall remember that I will love them until my last breath.

And I'm praying for their good health and long life. That's what we want for them, all the best and longer life.

exactly , being thankful to every little thing in life is the best way to show that we are living consciously
actually its not just  for ordinary people but more on those who are living luxurious because that is not permanently
and surely they will be the one that mostly affected once they fail not like the ordinary people who can survive in
all forms of living.
I agree.

Being grateful at all times as well with every little that you have will also make you a great person. It won't cost you a lot but it will effect you that much.

That's how you are living consciously when you're grateful to the things that you have. Not all people are grateful with that much they have but if you only have a little, you need to be happy and thankful with that and be content.
