1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 04, 2023, 06:30:32 PM
All of those are possibiities.

But I don't think that they're going to take it seriously when majority of them are registered and have a trademark unlike the mixers that have unknown developers or owners behind.

Maybe they'll take it as a precaution to do their jobs better and monitor more players accurately. Other than that, I don't see something serious that shall go with the casinos.

Aside from what you said, Forum restricting mixers is a not directly gonna impact casino in legal ways. This is just a forum safety precaution agains possible legal charges in the future by hosting illegal mixers while casino is legally compliant so there’s no way for regulators to crack them down without any evidence that they are knowingly allowing money laundering.

I believe only forum users is making it a big deal due to the signature campaign but it’s really not gonna affect casino operations because mixers is different to casino if we remove forum out of the picture.
Yes, I think they all understand.

But they're worried that crypto casinos might go next with the taking down of the regulators and the forum admin has to retaliate with that actions taken by them.

Anyway, there's nothing to be worried about it as casinos are typically normal business and establishments already globally. They'll just be taken down if they are unregistered.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 04, 2023, 04:35:47 PM
Let's hope it's not related to crypto casinos. However, casinos may take serious action to address the recent incidents at mixers by increasing supervision of their users. Crypto casinos will tighten their regulations, and casinos may immediately implement KYC on their users. By implementing this verification, the casino can at least monitor its members who deposit and withdraw large amounts of money. If the government asks questions about money laundering cases, the casino can provide its data for further investigation. Current conditions are increasingly difficult for crypto casinos because they are being monitored more closely by the government, so they have to be more careful in running their business.
All of those are possibiities.

1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction is possible in bitcoin price? After 40,000$ on: December 04, 2023, 03:42:55 PM
what is your opinion? Do you anticipate a potential drop in the bitcoin price, revisiting $30,000 after reaching $40,000
Yes, potential drop is always there so as the potential continuous pump.

do you believe it will continue its upward trajectory towards $50,000?
I believe in every possible action that bitcoin might do. It may go up as high as it can be or drop as low as we are not expecting it to be. That's what can happen to it so put every possibility on it and be prepared for the best because the worst might have happened already.
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Bar in Sofia, Bulgaria looks Interesting on: December 04, 2023, 02:34:12 PM
While I like the motif and design of the business since we're all good for Bitcoin. But for me personally, I wouldn't go there. Someone who comes there might give the bad people the idea that you are truly into Bitcoin.

Well, I am paranoid? Maybe.

But I want to make myself safe from others assumption because attacks are happening everywhere and the known wrench attacks.
I will not join it too. Those places and events are for people who love parties and want to be famous. I am not that kind of person and I know about risk of being attacked physically.

Known Physical Bitcoin Attacks.

They love what they are doing and they actually make contributions for Bitcoin adoption. We can not stop them and if anything we can do, just a reminder for them about risk of physical Bitcoin attacks. Then we have to let they do what they want. Bitcoin bless them.
While there can be people that are not into Bitcoin that shall go there and be part of the party. Someone can also play out that they know nothing about Bitcoin and just jam there.

But even with that, I'll not go there.

And about the concept, we're not discrediting them but we just wanna choose what we think is safe for us.
1185  Other / Off-topic / Re: Google Drive users angry over losing months of stored data on: December 04, 2023, 01:51:06 PM
some of these people lost way more than just private keys. they lost their months of personal data. that's really bad. private keys can be replaced. you just load up more bitcoin onto a new private key. but you can't replace family pictures or videos and things like that. or spreadsheets of rental properties and rents due.  Shocked
True.

Remember the old social media, Friendster? There have been lots of files as well there and family photos and videos that can no longer recover and it's the same to this.

And for those that likes to keep files on cloud storages, keep yourselves a back up on your personal local data storages or personal computers for your own convenience.

My thought exactly when I saw this. I mean it looks cool and everything, kudos for the effort but by visiting it you are putting yourself to unecessary risk via $5 wrench attack.
Yeah, today is different time where people that have empty stomachs will do everything for themselves just to get fed.

And those people that have got an idea on what these Bitcoins are for and what these are up to, sure gonna give them the thought of things that they shouldn't do.
1187  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Time ! on: December 03, 2023, 09:37:16 PM
"The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind"-2019 can be in everyone's bucket list and one movie that you must watch available on Netflix.
I have seen being recommended on me because I've watched it on a short video film of its highlights. I honestly think that the whole movie is touching.

Yeah, this is a good suggestion to happy and it's the same to the genre of what he's looking for.

1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 03, 2023, 06:05:19 AM
To the real gamblers, it is known that there is a possible career here.

It is like getting the opinion of no coiner people that gives their thought about if it is possible to make money and have a full time careed in Bitcoin.

So there you go, it is the same logic as that wirh gambling. and not real gamblers.
1190  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHAT GONNA HAPPEN NOW? on: December 03, 2023, 05:12:50 AM
This rumor has been spreading a lot of scare globally and in the internet world.

When we say wipeout, it is going to get the whole operation worldwide but with modern technology, I do not think that is how scary it is based on what has been said.

This could affect more our health than these infras.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antpool set to return 83.4btc transaction fee paid. on: December 02, 2023, 10:49:32 PM
Antpool is no dumb if there will be some bad actors trying to fool them and will claim that they are the rightful owner of that transaction and BTC.

It's going to take time but that person probably is aware of how he's going to contact Antpool and ask for that retrieval of his fund. Well, it's a nice gesture that Antpool has thought of returning it anyway.

The owner must be happy and he just needs to prove that he's the one.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: December 02, 2023, 09:58:02 PM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?
Don't stop the younger generation, what you need to talk to is with the old ones that whenever they talk about cricket games and bets, they should look at their surroundings and don't talk if the young ones are on their sides.

That's why if you're going to stop the young ones, they'll be even eager to know what's happening and will try to gamble and bet on cricket games. But if you tell it to the old ones, they will be aware that they shouldn't talk about it when there are kids around them.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If i have 1k how to trade future on: December 02, 2023, 09:36:35 PM
It seems that people just want to trade without having basic knowledge in trading and that's a dangerous decision that you guys are trying to make.

Do not trade when you don't even know how to start but how will you gain experience if you won't try? Simple, just don't get into the high amounts because you might not like it.

Much better to get a head start with those trial modes or demo accounts that are also being offered by the exchanges or some may not offer it but can start with minimum amount.
1194  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long Apple can survive with their ecosystem strategy! on: December 02, 2023, 01:38:29 PM
From this, you're able to understand why branding is important for a product. And by the time when Steve Jobs was still there and explains the feeling of owning one capturing the moments that you will have to remember a life time is what sold to the people.

Until it's been developed and the luxury feeling that a consumer needs it has been built. They just managed to maintain that and good thing they're successful on it.

They are selling the experience but how long they can keep doing it and to be honest people started to realize the importance of spending compared to the previous decades and technically apple products aren't worth the cost they sell it but somehow they are managing to be the market leader in the smartphone market but the change is not far away in my opinion.
If that's the case for now, there will still be billions of sales that are going to come from people that don't realize what you've realized.

What I can see is that Chinese phones are going to get a bigger share from them together with Samsung if they keep on just upgrading a few size of lens, etc. and will keep you selling experience.
1195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust wallet KYC verification Phishing mail. Beware! on: December 02, 2023, 11:55:45 AM
Good job because most of these emails are truly phishing attempts to get your seed phrase from that wallet. And to mind everyone, this isn't just specific only for Trust Wallet as this can happen to every wallet that we use that they're going to use the name of.

And also, even on the hardware wallets, they're going to use the names of these brands just to trick people into belief that they really have to replace or fix it through the link that they will include at the bottom of their emails.

Don't get tricked everyone and always verify these emails or much better ignore them all and block.
1196  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long Apple can survive with their ecosystem strategy! on: December 02, 2023, 11:24:25 AM
I always wanted to ask you about the existence of APPLE devices, especially smartphones and mac. Because their only strategy is to convince them that they device is safe and secure which is not 100% true and their insane pricing for the gadgets released is getting outrageous.

So do you think they will survive forever or will go down in the next 10 years if they don't make any changes?
No one knows, really.
1197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it about morality or productivity in choosing to work from Home on: December 02, 2023, 10:38:14 AM
Nothing better than Working at home , because aside from I own my time I also own my freedom , because I am in control of everything now(actually work as businessman)
and yes I don't follow anyone now but myself , so morally and productivity? both is mine now.
You know what's best on working from home? You are able to avoid the stressful city traffic especially if you're in the city where the rush hour are hectic and toxic.

That's going to save you a lot of time to your life wherein you can enjoy that spending with your family or anything that you love to do. That's why WFH should be implemented for most jobs where it is possible.

Of course for logic, it can't be done to manufacturing and other industries that requires physical appearance of the employee.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and it's 4 Year-Cycle on: December 02, 2023, 09:46:31 AM
I'll be happy if your $100k ATH happens in 2025. I've posted today in a different topic saying there isn't a guarantee halving's going to make ATH. We don't know if it's going to happen.

I am believing that cycle and looking at the potential of how high Bitcoins price might be is exciting.

You see that curve for the fourth year where the bull run is going to happen? That is 6 digits that we are seeing that could potentially be reached.

Well, we also said the same words on 2021 but even with that, 2024 and 2025 could be the best years this cycle. I'd give it on 2025 but if bull run ticks in as early as 2024, why not?
There is no guarantee but it's just the same that we might see the cycle happens again for 2024-2025. If you don't think that $100k won't be reached after the halving, that's fine.

How long you've been in the market? The experience and stay of someone can easily make ourselves believe on what's possible to happen.

FOMO's reaching boiling point in the forum.
And the market doesn't only revolve on the forum.

We're expecting bulls but it's like we're in a bullish period for weeks which didn't get going.
Because it's still early.

1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance reaches deal to pay $4.3B settlement to American regulators on: December 02, 2023, 01:13:30 AM
I don't use Binance I'm stacking sig campaign sats on Electrum wallet so don't need it. There's ppl out there who like CZ or hate him equally it isn't about him being rich so he's a target for American regulators. SBF said CZ purchased 20% of FTX because he wanted to bankrupt it. How would you feel about CZ if it's true?
AFAIK, that deal was publicly published but later on didnt proceed. I think it would have been a different story of CZ managed to acquire FTX. But I guess during that time, he has already foreseen what was about to come and he can no longer fix it.

Anyway, whether we like it or not. There is always the good, bad and unknown sides of these prominent people in the crypto scene.
