If you post something and it's been within the 360 second time limit it will say you must wait 360 seconds to post, then if you try to repost it again it says the post has already posted but it really never has you have to go back to the original topic and do it from there for it to actually post a message.

Vision was for merit reduce spam and shitpost. Yes it's success.
Then nothing else matters. Over time all will be fine. However, taking some hard actions against merit abusers will alert the abusers a lot. They won't dare to abuse merit. Merit abusers are giving silly excuses and saving their ass. |

I can confirm that.Last Friday: 40. 254 Merit received by zentdex (#1331637) from 83 unique users in 105 transactions He now has 270 Merit, and received 6 since Friday. Confirmed started from 0 or from 10?  |

As for the data that you need I think you should also include zentdex.
Thanks for the shout out mate. I appreciate your positive input. zentdex - has s/he started from 0 merits. Looking at his profile (November 20, 2017) seems like s/he was already a member and started with initial 10 merits. Can anyone confirm? |

To receive merit you do not have to have a specific rank. TryNinja already gave you the answer. To give you some encouragement you may check this... LoyceV called dibs on detailing these cases, so I believe the right thing to do is wait for his data and simply use my aggregate as a contrast. I would love to create more list like the 0 to 100+, sepreate table but same format. I am thinking of three more lists: 100 to 250+ 250 to 500+ and finally 500 to 1000+ I would appreciate if any of you DdmrDdmr, LoyceV can provide me the raw data.

Well guys, I will say it's more!!! Unfortunately it 15/24 are questionable (!!!) Check yourself. It's a big question (?) how these members are misusing merits. Yes is working great but we (as forum in this cause, you DT members) need to be more strict to punish abusers.
Wish they would. These merit abusers has their own excuses and lately I noticed IT WORKS. I feel in need of shifting my energy to something else. |

There are also at least 590 users that have ranked-up to Members using the Merit System. I've only focused on users created from the 27/11/2017 onwards, since they started off from a rank with no associated Merit (thus some names from your list are missing in mine). I would have liked to derive the complete user list, but unfortunately, this cannot be answered completely due to the lack of a snapshot created just when the Merit System kicked-off (i.e. User, rank, activity, airdrop, etc.). There are bound to exists more cases, at all rank levels, but it's quite a gruesome task to try to find out exactly who they are without making plenty of mistakes, due to the lack of the above stated information. Also, it's been a while since this case came up originally - why what's caused the delay mday?
If my memory serves me right then after my first comment on the Need help with recovering lost password to Legendary Account topic, I realized this could be an innocent mistake since most of the merit transaction happened on Jan 31 which was very early stage of introducing merit. Yesterday I saw the latest one was on April but I am pretty sure my eyes missed those at the first time. Anyway I did not follow the topic ever-since. Yesterday I noticed the post from eddie13 with possible more accounts. Then I had a wish to dig it deep. OP can you take a look at the findings from eddie13 and then (if necessary) add a clear list of involved accounts in the first post? Make sure not to link to merit pages when listing users.
I will try mate however I can not assure you that I will do. I am not feeling energetic today. Reading the comments on this topic and another one which I created few days ago ( Discussion needed: xtraelv and Lafu activities), seems like we accepted this kind of unusual behaviors. These people always have their excuses and they are doing very well. Mistakes or ignorance are forgivable if it happens once or twice ( this is a mistake) but if it happens 10 times ( #) then it's not a mistake, it's intentional and ignorance can not be an excuse but looks like I am wrong here. I guess it's time for me to shift my energy and focus on something else. Right now I am enjoying IPL final match (I love cricket). |

Those are new and hold Bitcoin, they might be worried about current Bitcoin price. I want to say just stay cool, it's the game of Bitcoin. When it will bump no one can say. If you don't have pateince then you can't gain on crypto market. No need to worry about price. The price will recover soon more then you expect.
Reading you post I literally checked the price in google and figured out the price is over $7k. The way you sounded, to me it was like the price dropped under 3k!!! I was getting excited but google destroyed my mood  |

I see quality of your reseach on my own examle and really im not want to waste my time on those actions. How im say before im not see any bad in help my old friend and sent him part of my merits, man love that forum and help me not once, so im not see any criminals in help each other. How im remember ppl always help each other , thats one of the main reasons why crypto have grow and success - trust and help. You like doing research so you can check all history of my main account since 2014 year here. If you really want to make community better better help anyone to solve any problem. Also not forget to check any about spamming or etc. And try to explain where is begger here in simple help one member to another. Show me exact parameters where clearly explain what means begged.
Look mate I see you are a gentleman, I respect you for that. Your history is good! I have no problem with that. It is clear that you and me both has different views. I am not saying helping each other is any criminal. Help anyone with anything but not with the merit IMO. Merit is here for a bigger reason, bigger than one friend to help another. We better stop exchanging words back and forth here and let the community decides how they see these activities. After all we both are not in the same page. |

Because before 14th December 2017, I did not have any idea about BitcoinTalk. I can assure you that this is my only account. I don't yet need another account. If I do any in future then I will make sure the community knows about my ALT. PS: Indeed our opinions are different here.

Im really not see any wrong if i sent my smerits to another community member if i know him and if here not any scam actions from his side.
Please read the rules mate. It's a community driven by some set of rules. You need to respect the rules instead of creating your own.
Make sure you screenshot all these users' merit pages. I see those exchanges happened at the end of January not long after the Merit system introduced. 120 days gone since the merit system was introduced so those transactions will disappear and you will lose the proofs. I created a topic asking for DT members attention. Already mentioned your investigations. Hope DT will have a look inside. |
