2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: November 22, 2023, 11:28:28 AM
Because they are found out, parents must immediately explain to their children what they are doing at the casino, so that children do not misunderstand and hate their parents' behavior, because if left unchecked, it is possible that their children will follow in their footsteps. parents' footsteps in playing casino and that is not good for the children's future.

Yes, by providing good guidance or understanding and slow explanations, I think it will make it easier for children to understand what gambling is.
Telling and teaching them about gambling at tender age wouldn't change anything, if the parents are gambler, there is a greater chance for their kid to do the same when he/she grows up, who knows if she start gambling at tertiary college where her parents is absent, it can only takes a high level discipline family to refocus their kids from gambling. Am talking about myself here, i grew up been taught never to gamble or i made attempt to gambling through out my university days, it really sucks funds and ruins life.

Everyone's views and opinions are definitely different, bro. Parents who are caught carrying out gambling activities by their children really hope that when their children grow up they won't follow in their footsteps because they know that gambling is not a good activity to do.

It is true, parents should not only prioritize gambling, because there are more important things to prioritize, namely family. If the parents of gamblers are addicted and only care about themselves in gambling, thereby forgetting the happiness or interests of their family or children, then there is a big possibility that there will be problems in the family, namely a lack of harmony. and love, therefore their children may gamble because they feel annoyed and angry, because their parents are not disciplined and wise in making the right decisions.

I will rephrase you sentence a bit - kids not just not have to follow parents footsteps (even though parents would love to see that), but must live their own life with their own experience, make their own mistakes. First of all they must choose the life they want to have, not that we dream about and want to see.

Even if we are a totally addicted gambling junkies, and we realize how addictive gambling is, how it might change or destroy lives, we should not hide the fact that we gamble, we must only explain all the negative and positive effects of gambling. Maybe we have to explain it now one, not twice, maybe even 100 times. Also we have to give reasons why we gamble, and let them make a decision if they want to gamble also or not.

I mean what is the point of being so much overprotective parent, when at 18 the kid will be free to do anything and we have no rights to to interfere. Let him be prepared for adult life with his experience and skill tree maxed Cheesy
Many gamblers win some of the time. Some do, in fact, make money. Its not just luck; you need skill, planning, and discipline. Parents being honest about the fact that they gamble? Thats the truth. Its very important to talk about the highs and lows, the wins and loses. Kids need to know everything. Will talking about gambling 100 times really stick? Not sure, not sure.

Too much protection as a parent? They can do anything at age 18. In a way, its like a video game; they have to level up on their own. Without it, life would not be the same. Its true that some kids might be really good at it. The odds arent all bad when you bet. Its exciting and artistic. Its about taking chances and moving carefully. Who will teach them if we dont?
2402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 22, 2023, 11:07:21 AM
People do win at gambling, which is both a game of skill and chance. Steady income? It does happen sometimes, but not most of the time. Diversifying across games? Both risky and smart. The key? Learning about chances and how to be self-disciplined. Your plan to switch from high-stakes to low-stakes play after a big win shows that you know how to handle risk well. But putting money into crypto as a "safe" alternative? Given how volatile crypto is, thats already a risk.

Adhering to your idea of self-control is very important; its what keeps gamblers alive. But the idea that gaming can give you a "steady income" often hides the harsh truth that it cant be predicted. People who play successfully are few and far between, and their stories are often overshadowed by those of people who lose. The real question is: Can someone get through this high-stakes situation with skill, plan, and a firm grip on reality? For a few people, yes. For most people, its a dangerous road that should only be taken with care.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 22, 2023, 10:43:26 AM
Do owners of betting companies place bet on their own platform or is there a policy specific policy that restricts them from betting. Do you think that there would be conflict of interest or that it will be unethical if owners bet on their own platforms. These are the questions that I am seeking an answer to.
just like drug sellers, rarely will they be successful if they use drugs too so i don't think that the owner of a gambling business actively gambles, he is definitely too busy taking care of his business so he won't have time to gamble, besides that there are many things that must be taken care of if you set up a gambling business, being an active gambler is not something that is easy to control, especially since gambling is a game that doubles your money, but i can't be 100% sure that in this world gambling owners are not gamblers, maybe in other areas the culture is different.
Right said betting company owners do not bet his main task is to supervise all the responsibilities of the company and what is happening to them. The casino environment is maintained and controlled by the casino owner if the casino environment is not good then no one will be able to bet. It is his responsibility to make the environment of the casino beautiful so the owner of the betting company has to control everything well and take care of the gambling so that there is no problem in betting. Maybe he doesn't have time to bet on these duties.
Yes, the boss of a betting company has a very important job to do: they are in charge of everything. Theres more to this than just "maintaining the environment," though. Putting together an experience, a world where every little thing matters, from the sound of a chip hitting a glass to the swirl of a drink. Owners aren't just monitors; they're also builders who make the world that draws you in. You dont have to bet to be good at gambling. Its the dance of risk and return that makes it art. And with all this planning for the ballet, who has time for a flutter? Finding the right balance between making money and appealing to people is like walking on a tightrope. What does the owner bet? Its on the house, which always wins because its where riches are made and dreams either come true or fail. And isnt that the real risk?
2404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The love in football on: November 22, 2023, 10:26:20 AM
Why football? Allow us to move on from the past. Its not just about the game; its also about culture, identity, and, dare I say it, a little nationalism. Football plays on our basic need to feel like we belong. We're built to connect with each other, and football gives us a group, a tribe, a shared pulse.

And all the excitement! Its not just people kicking a ball; a story is being told in real time. Its like a blockbuster movie, but real. There are heroes, villains, and losers. Now think about how simple it is: you dont need any fancy gear, just skill, plan, and spirit. We can relate to it because it's honest and raw.

Does everyone really love football "more"? Or is it that the way it affects the world makes its love stand out more? Football has a huge audience, but love? Thats up to the person. But for football fans, its more than just a game; its a feeling and a part of who they are.
2405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got started with Bitcoin and how it is blessing for me? on: November 21, 2023, 11:52:58 AM
It is admirable that you have gone from being a novice in 2014 to seeing its potential in 2017, and now you are reinvesting with a plan for the future of your family. A move toward democratized finance, Bitcoin is more than just a currency. Your narrative exemplifies how Bitcoin can change lives, especially for individuals from less fortunate origins. Making money is only one aspect of it; other goals include removing obstacles and fostering opportunity. A lot of people may learn from your financial plan because it is informed and grounded in hope. In your possession, bitcoin becomes a motivator for overcoming personal adversity as well as a tool for financial gain. Continue down this route; your tale serves as an inspiration to a great number of others, demonstrating how Bitcoin may be used for purposes beyond profit.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Argentina Be The Next El Salvador To Accept Bitcoin As Legal Tender? on: November 21, 2023, 11:30:27 AM
The election of Javier Milley as president of Argentina was a turning point, especially when you consider the country's unbelievable 140% inflation rate. His support for Bitcoin starts an interesting debate: can Bitcoin really help Argentina's economy? Accepting Bitcoin is a brave step toward decentralization that could protect you from inflation and policies set by state banks. But Bitcoin's value changes a lot, which is not a good thing; it threatens the security of the economy. Also, Bitcoin's widespread use needs a lot of technological infrastructure, public teaching, and regulatory challenges. Therefore, Milley's ideas are in line with new ways of solving money problems, but making Bitcoin a legal form of payment needs careful thought. Will this risk pay off, or will it make an economy that is already weak even more complicated?
2407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to fulfill my mother's dream of building a house with Bitcoin. on: November 21, 2023, 11:11:38 AM
firstly I want to start my Bitcoin journey through trading, after making some money from trading I plan to invest in Bitcoin for four years. These four years I will hold my investment and also save the money earned from trading or signature campaign for four years so that after four years I can start building the house.

You must pray for me so that I can fulfill my mother's dream.
I don't know how deep your trading skills are, but hopefully, they are sufficient enough so that when you do it you won't be surprised that trading is not a money-making machine that will always make your money grow, in fact you will have the opportunity to lose capital if you only enter a trade with low skills.
Saving Bitcoin that you get from another job will be much better than using it as capital for trading, but whatever it is, hopefully, your plan goes well and you can achieve what you have targeted to be able to build a house for your mother.
Yes it depends on the trading skills to get the best out of the training. So if the op doesn't have good trading skills then he won't be able to trade well. And if he is not able to profit from the trade, his dream of holding bitcoins will not be fulfilled and if this dream is not fulfilled, he will not be able to fulfill his dream of building a house.  So he should leave the trading plan and invest directly in Bitcoin according to his ability.  And to continue this investment. Investing $10-20 a week would be a good DCA. And thus he can fulfill his dream of building a house if he continues his investment for just a few years
Managing the turbulent Bitcoin market requires trading skills! Without the appropriate actions, winning is difficult in strategic games. Direct Bitcoin investing, not trade, is correct. It follows "Slow and steady wins the race." Investing $10-20 weekly is smart. To build your dream house, stack bricks one by one. Investing in Bitcoin is exciting, like gambling, but strategic. Making informed decisions and watching your investment grow is more important than the rush. Anyway, why not? Building your ideal home with a little risk can be fun if its within budget. Bitcoin is a marathon, not a sprint. Consistency, patience, and courage can lead to success. Continue investing and dreaming - who knows? Bitcoin may build your house.
2408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if there was only one cryptocurrency, which is Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2023, 10:56:03 AM
When the general public talks about Cryptocurrency, what comes to their mind is Bitcoin. Alternative cryptocurrencies are not competitors to Bitcoin, their founders have no intention of creating alternative coins as competitors to Bitcoin because they are very aware that they will never be able to surpass Bitcoin's popularity. As the prime mover or first Cryptocurrency ever, Bitcoin has advantages over other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has the largest network, the most legitimacy in the eyes of retail and institutional investors, investor confidence in Bitcoin because it is built on the most secure database in history.

Nothing will happen to Bitcoin even if it plays a single role because its price is very dependent on supply and demand. Just imagine Bitcoin being able to reach several ATHs even though it is side by side with Altcoins, especially since Bitcoin is the only Cryptocurrency that has ever existed. Even though thousands of other Altcoins have been circulating amidst Bitcoin's popularity, the Bitcoin community firmly believes that altcoins will not replace Bitcoin due to its fair and unchangeable monetary policy, a trait that no technology can fix.
Bitcoin is the first love of the cryptocurrency world, and its domination is unshakeable! Its pioneer position provides it an edge, like a cryptocurrency celebrity. Bitcoin is the cyber gold standard due to its size and security.

Bitcoin's ideology, decentralized and unchanging monetary policy, makes it unique, not merely being first. The combination of technology and trust makes it more than digital gold - it represents financial development. Altcoins are like new ice cream flavors - interesting but not enough to replace the classic flavor everyone loves.

What about price? Standard supply and demand with a market sentiment twist. Bitcoin capitalises on investor emotions, producing a captivating but risky investment story. Like a high-stakes game where everyone knows the name but cant anticipate the conclusion. Exciting, right? Bitcoin's resilience while altcoins rise? Its stunning and shows ingenuity and belief's power.
2409  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITTREX GLOBAL EXCHANGE SHUTTING DOWN, MOVE FUNDS NOW on: November 21, 2023, 10:36:28 AM
Oh no, Bittrex Global is closing down? That hits home for me because it was my first cryptocurrency exchange too. I made a lot of money and lost a lot of it. And also lost many many

This ending is shocking, but its not the end of everything. Its a wake-up call for crypto fans like us. This has happened before; the trades come and go. What stays, though? Our ability to bounce back and change. Its crucial to move funds to a non-custodial wallet - safety first, folks
2410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be intimidated on: November 21, 2023, 10:18:40 AM
Dear newbies pls don't rush into making Bitcoin investments like selling a property very valuable to you just to impress on the forum or putting in your entire savings to purchasing Bitcoin I am not against making Bitcoin investments but
Before making Bitcoin investments always make sure the odds are safe for you  like some members here will say  "" make investments that will not affect you" in other words make investments with free money  except you have more profiting ideas than hodling

I am sure this is what other investors here do

Not exactly for everyone. You can see that the biggest advantage of the rich is that they can make more mistakes than ordinary people; no matter what they do wrong, they can still use money to make up for it in time. Unlike normal people, if you just make a little mistake, where will next month's rent come from when all the money has been invested?

Therefore, future risks cannot be foreseen. Although the probability of it happening is only 1%, when it happens, it will destroy your life 100%. If your resistance is strong enough, you can overcome that storm, and if not, the consequences will be like the mess after the cataclysm.
Indeed, the wealthy do have a safety net, dont they? They pay for their mistakes. Basic. What about the typical Joe? If you make a mistake, your finances could be in jeopardy. Everything in life - rent, bills, and necessities - hangs dangerously. What if we think of this as a gambling game played strategically? Yes, life may be unpredictable. Therefore, rather of being alarmed by the 1% chance of catastrophe, why not take a chance?

The bottom line is to educate oneself. Not only the wealthy should be financially literate. Setting up a budget, saving money, and even investing occasionally are all necessary. And keep in mind that even a tiny wager can result in significant gains when it comes to risks. Thus, be cautious, learn from your mistakes, and maintain interest in the game. I mean, isnt life the biggest gamble of all? I mean, why not make it entertaining?
2411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: November 20, 2023, 03:43:40 PM
Well, I think something, that the core of all this is based on the quality of the financial education that the person has. to have money, the person must be intelligent , because money runs out. Another very valid option is that when people try not to have a lot of money and decide to play not to have fun but to multiply their money, it is the worst mistake they can make in life
obviously that is an issue. For a gambler, he must have knowledge how to take care of his financial management besides having skillful about gambling sector also. Person who have less money & the person who have much money, both can enjoy gambling until decide to multiple funds within short time, for example you mentioned about casions! I think It isn't easy ever possible to beat casinos continuously but people start doing so after losing money cause sometimes they have own insufficient amounts at the end. This thing should be focused.

Does everyone choose to gamble when they have no money?
If that's the case, I think they took the wrong step. When they don't have money or have only a little money and want to get more money not by gambling, but they have to work hard to be able to get more money. if they choose to gamble they will only spend their money in vain, although there is a chance to win but it is not as big as the chance to lose, because gambling itself is created to make money not to give money to the people who play.

I think that is a fact that happens in every gambling. It's hard to beat a casino machine especially when it has been set up by the people in it, of course they set up casino machines that only give small wins to attract players to play more often, and in the end many of them make gambling the main income in their lives. Even the bookie can laugh loudly when the players start to get addicted who can spend a lot of money just to gamble that is not certain of victory.
The promise of fast riches draws people into gambling without money, not only "choose" to do so. Casinos arent built on winners, thus the odds are skewed. However, a twist: Suppose gambling isnt simply about winning? Perhaps its the thrill, risk, and entertainment? Gambling can be a way to escape the daily grind. Life doesnt always require "rational" decisions.

You're right about casinos' setup - they offer just enough wins to keep gamers hooked. Isn"t that entertainment? Suspense, uncertainty, hope? Enjoying the game is more important than conquering the system. Responsible gambling may be thrilling. Hard effort is commendable, yet gambling is exciting and alluring. Life's too short for practicality, right?
2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: November 20, 2023, 02:00:37 PM
~
Other than that, I confess that I didn't spend much effort in publishing links to other casinos, so I'm not sure if they are profitable or not, but one thing I know for sure: the sites profit much more than the users who publish them.
The truth is, none of us earned money using referral bonuses. Why? One thing is that what we are sharing is a casino, and we know many people are hasty when it comes to casinos or gambling, so it's not easy to attract or refer one. Second, we are not popular. Yes, popularity is one thing that could make you earn referral bonuses. For example, streamers, vloggers, etc. can earn from referrals as many of their viewers could be attracted or tempted to try what they are playing, or simply streamers or vloggers can earn from advertising the casino and using their links.

For us normal people, it's hard for us to attract people to use our referral links. If we can get some, it's not enough to earn a fine profit, but maybe by hard work some can earn from it as there are a lot of ways to advertise now, especially on social media.
When it comes to gaming, it is very hard to figure out how to use referral bonuses. You are right; being well-known is important. That being said, what if we look at less common paths? As an example, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter offer a world of options. Maybe you could make interesting and fun material about going to the casino. Beyond the risk, its the trip, the thrills, and the stories that make it worth it. Stories make people buy!

Now think about this: engaging with specific groups of people. People in some groups are really interested in the world of casinos. Pick them off! Be the voice they can connect to by taking part in discussions and sharing your own experiences. People want to be popular, but they also want to be able to connect with others. The fun and excitement of gaming are also important. What if you draw attention to that part? Someone could find their way to success through your recommendation link. Do not forget that planning and patience are just as important in this game as luck!
2413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: November 20, 2023, 01:41:49 PM

Unfortunately, gamblers who are already addicted to gambling will not easily realize that they are addicted to gambling unless someone else tells them. They will continue to gamble as usual, or maybe they will gamble more often until they experience even bigger losses. Those who have people around them who are aware of changes in themselves and are willing to tell them that they have a gambling addiction are truly lucky and should be grateful. The people around them can start helping the gambler to get out of his gambling addiction and start stopping his gambling activities before it is really too late. And if they can stop gambling, it will be better for them because they can leave gambling for good.

Yeah.. it can be challenging for the people who are struggling with gambling addiction to recognize their own condition. Denial is a common defense mechanism that allows them to maintain a sense of normalcy and avoid confronting the negative consequences of their behavior. The presence of supportive people who can identify and address gambling behaviors is crucial in helping addicted people recognize and address their problem.

These people often provide a reality check, helping the gambler to see the impact of their actions and the need for change. The support of others can play a impactful role in helping gamblers break free from addiction. By providing encouragement and guidance, loved ones can empower the gambler to take the necessary steps towards recovery. With the support of others and a commitment to change, gamblers can reclaim their lives and build a healthier future.
Yes, recognizing gambling addiction is difficult and painful. Denial? The terrible realities of addiction are hidden in a dense fog. Whats key? Systems of support. Essential, not just beneficial. Think about it: a caring reality check can change everything. Like turning on a light in a gloomy room. But when done safely, entertaining gambling may be fun and thrilling. How? Promoting self-control and attentiveness. Consider a world where gambling is both fun and self-disciplined. This might make gambling part of a balanced existence. Lets remember the fun and excitement of responsible gambling while discussing addiction. Its about balancing risks and rewards.
2414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: November 20, 2023, 01:16:22 PM
It can be said that it is naive to make deposits on any central platform before verifying the possibilities of imposing identity verification procedures and completing them, even if this is not necessary upon registration. When we register for the first time, we do not know anything about the procedures in place on that platform, and therefore all precautions must be taken to ensure that no disruption occurs during withdrawal operations. In general, casinos also require a first deposit as a procedure to verify the account, so the rest of the identity verification procedures must be completed before that.
The mentality of gamblers is somewhat unique, they expressly play a game of chance expecting to win, and yet they make no preparation at all in the case they got it.

So they make a deposit at their favorite casino without thinking about what they will do in the case they finally got lucky, and once they do they struggle to pass the KYC verification as they cannot corroborate the source of their funds or prove who they are, and then they make excuses about the casino playing dirty and not allowing them to withdraw their money when they are the ones that are at fault.

But the source of funds thing is sometimes more complicated than it seems. It really depends what money you are using. If you are a normal employee and you are playing with a bigger sum of money relative to your monthly income, the casino can give you a hard time to accept the proof. They have all the leverage against the player and if they decide to make it as complicated as possible, you can quickly find yourself in a situation where it is hard to prove the source. You can say you saved up that money, but essentially that would be like the casino just asking whether you have a job or not. But it becomes tough when people are self-employed. Most casinos when they have a good reputation will just pay out the winnings unless the winnings are monstrous.
It can be tricky to follow the rules of a casino when you are self-employed and making money. Casinos are very careful because they care about their image and compliance. You need to show that you didnt get your stake from shady sources if you want to keep your job. The catch, though, is this: what if casinos took a broader view of verifying funds? Think about a situation where a player's past income, spending, and even tax returns are important. While it is intrusive, could it not make the process easier, especially for people who work for themselves? Its true that privacy issues are important, but if being open is the key to winning, might it be worth the risk? Casinos already have to balance following the rules and making sure customers are happy. Why not change the way they check people out to match the complexity of today's pay sources? At the heart of every bet is the thrill of the unknown, so shouldnt everyone have the same chance to get to the table?
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 20, 2023, 12:53:14 PM
How do I take advantages over the gambles while I am not gambling anymore?
I tend to invest in the gambling. How?
At my visits in the gambling grounds, I will be lending my funds to the losers who has run out of  funds and willing to bet more if they have more money.
I tends to make this a deal with interest charges with concrete agreement to be secured and I will be opened to also accepting collaterals.

I verily know that I will succeed more of the inexperienced and those gamblers who doesn't have gambling budgets including those who can't take control over their gambling emotions

I don't think this is the best investment you can make with your money. Why would you lend your money someone that has no more money and still wants to gamble? First of all, if they lost all their money through gambling then their strategies and risk management is not really the best and the chances are high that they are just going to lose all your money as well. Making a contract and requiring interest is a good thing, this gives you at least some form of protection. However, a contract alone is no guarantee that you actually will get your money back. Let’s look at the worst-case scenario where the gambler loses all your money and still needs to pay you back. What happens if he doesn’t have a job, or only a job that doesn’t pay a lot of money? Even if you go to the courts and ask for your money back, it could take years for you to recover your principal. In my opinion a better approach, if you want to invest in gambling, would be to look for a casino that is looking for a new partner and you could invest your money there. There will always be people trying to sell their shares in casino and if you have enough money, you could buy their shares.

Giving a gambler who is broke money? That sounds like the plot of a sad comedy. Yes, you're right to be wary of contracts and slow law mills; they're not magic wands.

Hey, let's change the subject to something more... exciting. Cryptocurrency casinos! That's where the real action is. There's more to these digital parks than just rolling dice. They're smart, creative, and a lot of fun. Just think about it: blockchain technology provides openness, fairness, and, guess what? Privacy. This is the perfect set of qualities for a player.

Putting money into a casino, whether it's online or off, is more than just buying a ticket to the money show. Being in charge of a show of luck is a lot like that. You're not just watching the game; you're in it. Also, you made a good choice with those gambling shares. No matter who wins or loses at the games, the casinos make money. Why bet on a horse that will lose when you can own the racetrack? Remember that the house always wins, and you could be the house in this case. If you play your cards right, anything could happen.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: November 20, 2023, 12:30:45 PM
The main reason crypto gambling has gained popularity for its anonymity. But with the change of time, the government of every country has become active and made KYC mandatory since those who started using this platform to do financial irregularities. Now we all know about the advantages and disadvantages of KYC. But I think that if the feature that makes people interested to gamble on this crypto but if the main feature disappears then it has the potential to lose people's confidence. I think KYC should not be forced. If the gambler does not have any suspicious behavior or high volume of transactions, it is best to keep it anonymous.

If the casino uses only high volume in transaction to determine if they'll request for KYC, alot of illegal individuals will get away with crimes because they can split their transaction into smaller amounts that will not make the casino suspicious and run as many transaction as they want and get away with their crimes. KYC helps casino to keep eyes on their customers so they can identify them easier when the authorities need to for their investigation. And since the individuals knows the casino has their identity, they'll be careful not to use the casino for illegal activities.

KYC has its advantage and disadvantage but it's not benefiting any individuals that's using cryptocurency to gamble because our purpose for using cryptocurrency is because of its animosity but when KYC is been implemented it takes away that. We have some casino and sportsbooks that don't demand high KYC but just regular ones and we can be using them to help prevent our information from getting into the wrong hands.
We're here for the thrill and the privacy, but KYC stops us in our tracks. In other words, "Come for the fun, stay for the paperwork." But lets not get rid of the good thing along with the bad. KYC has its place, like a bouncer at the club door who keeps bad people out. Still, does it need to be so direct? Why not make KYC like a good game referee: there, but not in the way of the play? Casinos could use KYC that is less intrusive and focuses on behavior instead of name. Find the bad guys without making everyone else feel like they have to stand in line. Do you agree that we should keep the game fair and fun? Lets praise the companies that get this right. And finally, rolling dice should be about rolling the dice, not telling your life story.
2417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 20, 2023, 12:14:25 PM
I did this sometimes and it also works sometimes as well but more often it never works. Why? Luck doesn't stay long with us, maybe the time we arrive and see that person win will be the last time of their luck and miss following him earlier, while making the next bet is a losing bet. Or we are too unlucky that change his winning momentum?

As I gamble, I don't make it in a rushing situation, I'd just observe first.
Though we can gain some ideas from other gamblers, it doesn't mean that we have to follow them either instead, we make our own discovery. Yes, luck has never been shared with others, so be it.
That's nothing more than a myth. Your luck cannot be someone else's luck and similarly, you being unlucky cannot make someone else's luck change. So, when you and the other person, both lose the game, it simply means that you both were unlucky at that time, and it doesn't mean that one of you was lucky but lost because the other one who followed their bet was unlucky, that doesn't make any sense at all because luck doesn't see or know such things.

So, these are all misconceptions and myths that people take seriously and either don't let others know about their bets or don't follow others thinking that their luck might affect others' or others' might affect theirs but that's not how things work. If you are destined to lose, nothing can make you win, and if you are destined to win, nothing can make you lose, simple as that.
See, blaming the weather for your mood is as scientific as attributing your poor luck to other people. Its funny, but not very scientific. Well, thats half of the allure of gambling, isnt it? The truth is that gambling is not about luck contagion but rather about chance and decision-making. Consider it a skill-based game masked as a chance game. Not to mention that its all for entertainment purposes. Superstitions like that? One of the performers! Like bringing your lucky socks to a poker game, the significance lies more in the tradition than in the magic. Therefore, keep in mind that the excitement, suspense, and entertainment are the main goals when we toss coins or roll dice. Together, we are all players in this game, each with unique odds. Who knows? Perhaps your "unlucky" friend is actually your lucky charm; just not in the traditional sense!

Regulating the gambling industry is indeed very difficult its trend for online gambling has spread a lot. Although many organizations conduct monitoring they cannot be easily controlled and information on these is difficult to find online currently it is becoming easier through mobile, if you play gambling, no one will understand if you don't tell anyone. If law enforcement forces control they can take various steps to shut down the outside world which is not the case online. People who are addicted to gambling are usually harmful to their family and society and after selling their wealth they become destitute and do not know of such a big bad crime.
The gambling that is played today is very different from gambling in the past, now everyone can easily gamble without the knowledge of those closest to them because they can play gambling with the cellphone they have so that other people cannot easily see directly.
I agree with you that when someone is addicted to gambling, of course they will be very detrimental to themselves and the environment around them.
Yes, it is true that gambling today is very different from gambling in the past because of the advancement of the times, maybe gambling in the past was often done openly without using cellphones and almost everyone who did not gamble knew and was easily identified by the police, And gambling now most people who gamble use cellphones online so it is more difficult to be known by others, but in gambling now most people experience financial losses because gambling is now played by bookies on gambling sites so the impact is very bad to the point that it can damage the household if the gambler already has a wife. . So for those of us who don't gamble, don't try to do something like that because online gambling is addictive. If we are addicted, we will lose a lot because we are played by the bookie, and for people who are currently gambling or addicted, reduce their gambling so that you do not experience losses because there is no history of getting rich by gambling because gambling is just a trick of the bookie. It is not easy for gambling addicts to stop completely, but if you have the intention, you can definitely reduce or stop completely.
Technology has undoubtedly changed the face of gaming, but remember that control is ultimately what matters. Indeed, internet gambling is a new animal entirely ; more accessible and covert. However, lets not ignore it completely. A major component of the game is entertainment and thrill, and for other people, its just a harmless kick. The secret? Realizing your boundaries. Like candy, should you have one piece or two? All is well. But the entire bag? Problems.

Here, addiction poses a greater threat than the actual game. Those that gamble recreationally are aware that its a hobby rather than a source of income. And those sportsbooks? Of course they want to win, but isnt that the case in any business? Heres an idea: What if we approach gambling as more of a pastime than a habit? Stay lighthearted and have fun. And those who are having trouble? Ask for assistance. People, its all about balance. Play deftly, not forcefully.

I don't think I expect a meltdown, but sure it can happen when PSG gets fired up and maybe scores early, but otherwise I can also see how Monaco could become dangerous through counter attacks. Their offense was quite ok so far and they have conceded not too many goals. It is not the best defense, needless to say, but still I think if a team can cause PSG to have some problems then it is rather Monaco than any other team from the lower part of the table.
It will be a great match no matter what. I am sure that we will watch an enjoyable match between Monaco and PSG. PSG is a stronger candidate for victory. Monaco is in a good position as a team that has played successful matches this year. I'm sure it will be an enjoyable match. I want Monaco to win.

Monaco to win the game would be good and if PSG wins the game, then at least Nice shouldn't lose to retain some tension for those following Ligue 1. But I think the French guys Mbappe and Dembele are pretty pumped and they will try to continue this against Monaco. But Dembele is up and down and therefore nothing is set in stone yet. It is still possible that PSG has one of those bad days and Monaco gets their chances. Monaco's attacking line is strong enough to get something done in that game.
I expect an almost head-to-head match from both teams. Monaco or PSG, both teams are playing great. PSG has a great player like Mbappe. This shows that they have a much greater advantage. When we think about this, although PSG seems to be one step ahead, we must say that Monaco is also strong enough to win.

I respect Monaco, but playing against PSG at home should not end in a head-to-head match, also not almost like it. I think that PSG will have plenty more chances than Monaco and most likely it will be Mbappe who decides the game. Every opponent from the Ligue 1 needs some luck and one of their best days of the year to win something in Paris. Since PSG players are fully aware of the importance of the next few weeks, it would be unexpected if they now show some signs of bad concentration.
This form makes PSG impossible to beat, especially with Mbappe leading the way. They lead Ligue 1 due to strategy, skill, and force on the pitch. They outplay teams everywhere, and their Monaco record? Quite remarkable. It shows a dominant squad playing to win. Remember last season's results. While PSG has been stronger this season, Monaco has proven difficult to beat. Their moments at home and away arent to be dismissed. While PSG is better, especially at home, Monaco wont go down easily. Although PSG is the favorite, Monaco could surprise us in this clash.

You know what impressed me the most? It is not that one game that Copenhagen has played so well in the Champions League group. Every bad team could have a great and lucky day. What impressed me so much about Copenhagen is that they played four great games in the group, could have tied the game against Bayern Munich, could have won the game away from home against Galatasaray, won the game against Manchester United and lost the other game with only one goal in England. This is what made me think twice about this team and how I underestimated them. I thought that this is going to be an easy group for Manchester United and Bayern Munich, but seriously this was a tough group for them and Manchester United will probably fail to pass it.

The team is not tough for Bayern Munich because they’ve won all of the matches they’ve played in the group, only Manchester United will see the group very tough for them to pass through because of how many points they’ve earned, their position on the table and their chances of qualifying to the next round of the competition which is very much unlikely seeing how they are playing now even in their domestic league. Like I have said in the past, Manchester United underrated the other two teams; Galatasaray and Copenhagen which they needed not to and play with full force with them. They had their chances in the past already but were not able to convert it to their advantage. They have only earned 3 points with 4 matches already played. Their two remaining matches could in the best case be a draw and a draw which will not give them a qualification to the next round of the competition.

As I can't tell how interested you are in football and how much you follow the games, it's probably worthless to talk about those games when my assumption is that you don't watch them.

Without a doubt was that group quite hard for Bayern Munich and if you were to ask the players, I tell you that they will say that this was a whole lot of work they were going through and that some games were about to end in a draw or loss.

The game against Galatasaray was Galatasaray only. Bayern Munich didn't take place until the second half of the second half, yes, you read this correctly. I don't know exactly but it took Bayern Munich 65 - 70 minutes to get into the game. Before that Galatasaray could have long won it.

The game against Manchester United and Copenhagen were both close and Bayern was behind until late in the game against Copenhagen.

When a team won every game in a group, it doesn't mean that the group was easy.
I think every team that participates in the Champions League group stage is a great team that really has the capability to become a winner in the Champions League. There is indeed a difference in level between representatives from small European leagues and teams from the big leagues, but it still does not rule out the possibility that those from the small leagues will become dark horses in this competition.

So I think the competition in Group A is a tough battle for all of these teams, and if in fact, Bayern Munich can win all their matches, it doesn't mean they have an easy opponent to play against, but because they can play with consistent performance while their opponents may be having their own problems which prevents them from playing optimally.
I agree that all group stage teams may win. Its intriguing how minor league teams may surprise us and become tournament dark horses. Consider Manchester United. They may not be at their best, but their powerful squad and the correct tactics and direction can turn things around. A win over Galatasaray could increase their prospects of advancing. Taking the chance and playing with determination is key.

Bayern Munich's prospective clean sweep is a monument to their consistency in Group A, where competition is tough. Other teams may have their own issues that hinder their performance. Manchester United needs to win their remaining two matches. This pressure can make or break them. Given the conditions, Erik ten Hag guiding them past the group stage would be extraordinary. These circumstances make the Champions League so exciting.
