I'm not convinced with Roman at all. I doubt they'll be able to win today against Fiorentina. The only factor that's in favor of Roma is Mourinho aside from the fact they're playing at home. Mourinho knows how to win these types of games. He's a winner, he may not play well but he'll manage to get all 3 points.
Fiorentina on the other hand know exactly what they're doing. The only match this season they lost that I did not expect them to lose in the league was Empoli. Every other match was against a tougher opponent. They lost to Juventus, Inter, Milan, and Lazio so far. And there lies the problem, Roma is also a tougher opponent.

AS Roma and Fiorentina are actually still at the same level but as you said playing at home will be another advantage for AS Roma it's just that it won't be easy because usually Fiorentina will try to get points too. Do you think the two teams will score each other? the odds are quite interesting 1.95 if we bet on YES but on the other hand, the bookies predicts that the match will end with a low goal.

Both of clubs were getting red cards. No doubt that if they were equal at this moment. As roma has been trying so hard to win the game but all of its efforts were not paying off caused by fiorentina has a very strong defenders as well. Btts was happening.
Im lucky enough caused by i was not taking this match as a part of my choice. The match of roma is always very hard to predict. This is the main reason why i have refrain myself from picking the match of roma.

Roma is always like that. It's not able to winning against a quite strong club in the serie a.
Actually, I see your point about Roma's lack of consistency. All of their games are like roller coasters, right? Thats something I noticed too, especially when they played teams like Fiorentina. Unfortunately, both teams seemed about the same this time, even with all the red cards. Like Mourinho's bold play sometimes backfires, which is why those players got sent off. Sure, its an exciting match, but you have to admit it.

Regarding Serie A, Inter Milan seems to be doing pretty well this year. These players seem to be taking advantage of times when other teams, like Roma, arent paying attention. Inter has a great chance to shine. Since Roma keeps losing to better Serie A teams, isnt that becoming a pattern? Inconsistency like this is probably why I dont like betting on their games.

Losing is a normal thing in football and both strong and weak teams can experience it, but what seems unnormal is the scoreline of the defeat suffered by Bayern Munich, it is quite unreasonable so the question arises as to why it happened like that.
Indeed, there is no need to blame anyone because this is not the end of Bayern Munich.
They just need to evaluate this defeat and immediately get up in the next match, because next, they will also face a team that could beat them because Stuttgart has proven themselves to be a very different team this season, it will be an interesting match because there will be the two most productive strikers, Harry Kane and Sehrou Guirassy this season.
It was quite surprising that Frankfurt managed to slaughter Bayern Munich quite embarrassingly and I really wonder why Tuchel's troops lost the morality to play amidst the consistent pursuit of Leverkusen. Bayern Munich had the advantage in possession of the ball in the first half until the match ended, but they lost concentration after two goals were scored by Frankfurt players in the first half. Trapp managed to make three saves, which frustrated Bayern Munich because as far as the match went, Kane, Sane and Coman were unable to do much.

This defeat was quite embarrassing and at the same time made Leverkusen quite profitable and now many people are starting to doubt that Bayern Munich will become Bundesliga champions this season. But for me, this will not reduce Bayern Munich's chances of winning the title as Bundesliga champions this season because it is commonplace that when a coach misplaces his strategy it will result in his team losing embarrassingly.
Your point that Bayern's loss opened people's eyes is exactly right. Like seeing a huge person trip and fall, you cant help but wonder whats wrong with that team. In most games, they're great, but against Frankfurt, it was like watching a different team. Yes, Leverkusen must be really happy about this. They're smart to keep their lead even though they tied with Stuttgart. Its not exciting, but it works.

Here's my opinion, though: dont give up on Bayern just yet. Their past struggles have made them better. Although they are currently hampered by Leverkusen, they possess the knowledge and skills to reverse the situation. Getting back on track and getting your trust back are the most important things. I cant wait to see how they handle this task. You know, these are the times that really make a team what it is.

Tottenham Hotspur's performance this evening really impressed me; they played well and won by three goals margin, which I honestly did not expect. Newcastle United was under intense pressure with 25 shots and 12 of them one target. I'm not sure how long Tottenham can keep up their good form; they're not a team you can rely on for long. Also, I hope that this game does not weaken Newcastle's squad for their next match against Milan in the champions league.

Tottenham is unstoppable in this match they control the match from all sides even since the first half therefore I was not surprised if Tottenham scored a lot of goals, indeed Newcastle played poorly today but I know they are trying to secure the squad for the Champions League match as we know Newcastle will fight either in this last match to determine whether they can qualify for the next round there is no other choice they have to win because of that newcastle game is different today.

Fulham also surprised us somehow they beat West Ham with 5 goals even more surprising West Ham was unable to score a single goal even though they usually always score in every match, we know that West Ham also has a match in the European League this week but they are already in a safe position or they really want to maintain a position as a group winner and avoid the play-off round? maybe this is the only reason that makes sense to prepare for physical conditions.
I agree with you that Tottenham is unbeatable! They really took charge from the start of the game. Would you agree that Son Heung Min was truly amazing? The guy was everywhere. He scored one goal and set up two more. Whatever he did with the ball seemed to make something exciting happen every time. Also, Richarlison scored two goals, which was great. Although Newcastle tried their best, Tottenham was simply better. Even though Joelinton scored a good goal, Tottenham won the whole game.

Another surprise was Fulham's win over West Ham. No one saw that coming. Five goals and a clean sheet! It came as a big surprise that West Ham was shut out because they usually score a lot of goals. You have to wonder if they were really trying to get the top spot in their European League group or if they were just having a bad day. The Premier League is always full of shocks, and this weekend was no different.

In a game which Mbappe were really ineffective PSG won against Nantes in Parc des Princes anyway. The first half was completely one-sided before anything else. Nantes did a good job in the second half by starting to have a balance in the game. That early equalizer was also enough to resurrect their hopes for getting a point as well.

But Kolo Muani had the last word in the last ten-minute period of the game by scoring the winning goal. He is performing impressively since he joined PSG. They spent a lot of money for his transfer fee and they must be really happy to do so now.
Watching PSG beat Nantes, even though Mbappe wasnt playing his best, really made me think. Unquestionably, they won, and Kolo Muani's play stood out. Im not overly impressed, though. Due to their home field advantage and past performance, PSG usually wins these games by a larger spread. Historically, they've had a big advantage over teams like Nantes, right?

The quality of their wins is another issue. Three points is three points, but when you spend a lot of money on stars like Kolo Muani, you kind of expect more, like victories that are more convincing. Although Im happy for PSG's success, I guess I was hoping for a little more style and control, especially at home.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 11, 2023, 06:24:56 AM
The sad news in Barcelona is about their player Ronald Araújo. This Uruguayan player had a perfect performance in Barcelona since he joined there and because of that good performance, he got offers from some famous teams like Bayern Munich and obviously, if Bayern Munich sends an offer for this player Barcelona doesn't have a good financial power for a stand against them.

There has been no concrete news or rumors regarding this Barcelona defender, if I refer to Fabrizio Romano's report regarding Ronald Araújo in the last 12 hours.

Talking about Ronald Araújo in the match against Girona, his performance was the most inconsistent of the defenders and also the goalkeeper Inaki Pena who played poorly. Araujo and Inaki Pena played the most underperformed, compared to the other players. Apart from that, Balde, who replaced Christensen, also played badly. It seems that the rotation that Xavi implemented was not appropriate and failed miserably in the defense sector. even though Barcelona's midfield players played quite well, and Gundohan was again the most consistent player throughout the match.
Barcelona actually had many opportunities, but of the 31 total shots, they only converted 2 opportunities into goals. Finally, Barcelona suffered its second defeat in 16 matches this season. also, the only match that was outside my predictions from the 5 other matches that I predicted for matches in various leagues. Barcelona, as we know, is having difficulty scoring goals.

So, Xavi should have several plans and strategies to overcome the problems he faces with his squad. As a Barcelona supporter, I am a little dissatisfied with the results of this match and what the coach implemented.
On the other hand, Girona is back at the top of the La Liga standings, an extraordinary job by Michel and his squad. I cannot deny that Girona has so far been the difference in the competition for the La Liga trophy so far. and yeah, congratulations to those of you who bet on Girona.
The numbers dont look good: 31 shots and only 2 goals? Thats not the Barcelona we know. We dont seem to have that killer sense in front of the goal. I mean, Girona did things a lot better. Even though they had fewer shots, they scored 4 goals. That hurts, especially since it happened on our home field. Also, Araújo and Inaki Pena really messed up this time. Defense doesnt seem to be working together at all, which is strange.

In the race for La Liga, we're now behind, and every game feels like a peak to climb. Xavi needs to really think about what he's doing. The center is doing a good job, but if we cant turn chances into goals, whats the point? Lewandowski's patchy hitting is also a worry. Everyone on the team needs to step up, not just him. We need to make some big changes to how we do things if we want to get back on track.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 11, 2023, 05:51:10 AM
Xavi wants to make Joao Felix deal permanent and the player is already very willing to do so. Because he is already playing for his dream team at the moment. He is giving his best in games to make a good level of contribution to the team as well. Only thing left is to convince Atletico Madrid to make the signing.

But first Barcelona's offer will need to be convincing as well. Because his current market value is 50 million euros and Atletico Madrid wouldn't like to let him go for a cheap price. They already want to part ways with Felix normally.

Xavi have made the right decision and is for the good of the team and for his own job too. Joao Felix have been great since he joined Barcelona on loan this season after his club Atletico Madrid didn’t want to add him to their squad this season. He has improved under a new team and a new coach which he claimed to have been his dream team all along. His love for the team will be amongst the factor that made him improved his game in order to get the chance to make it as a permanent player in the team. I am very happy for him, I just hope the deal will go smoothly because Atletico Madrid will want to get a lot of money from his sale since he has improved and will add more value to Barcelona now when they make him their permanent player.

Joao Felix is definitely a great player and we saw that in the games we saw from this player but the fact about Joao Felix is he should leave the team unless Barcelona hires this player permanently, I think the player Xavi chose during the time he was working at Barcelona was mostly effective and to be honest Xavi didn't spend money on useless players so far.

Im wary of Joao Felix's performance and fit with Barcelona. His inconsistency worries me, although hes had brilliance moments. Have you forgotten his Chelsea days? No big news. I doubt its worth it because Barcelona may have to spend at least €80 million to seal the transaction.

Felix suits Xavi's style, thus he likes him tactically. Felix's performance at Barcelona has been poor - hes scored two goals in twelve appearances. That doesnt justify spending so much, especially considering Barcelona is struggling financially. Because they're in trouble, every investment must pay off large, and Felix may not be a safe bet. He may prove himself with time and experience, but its risky today.

Harry Maguire's being the Player of the Month in the EPL was one of the most interesting incidents I have witnessed this season.  Grin  Because we have seen so many memes related to him all over the social media due to his bad performances before. This was like an answer from to all those memes but it is doubtful if he can maintain this effort longer.

He had better do so for Manchester United's next game especially. Because they have a very critical game to play in the Champions League.

Honestly I think that they can win against Bayern Munich. Because Bayern Munich don't give their 100% anymore after securing first place. They might not even bring all of their main lineup players to England or we might see many of them in the subs.
There is no doubt about this he was most hated person in Manchester United but with his skills and performance he changes things and now having award like this which is amazing stuff from him even the team is not at his good and facing many challenges on and off the field, but he just gives shut up call to all his haters with his performance and improvement now after having humiliating defeat at home against Bournemouth now they are going to face Bayern Munich which is another challenge because in cast of lost we can expect good changes in this team but win can bring some stability.

Bayern Munich also having some troubling time with they are playing relaxed games and this can give good advantage to Manchester United even their chances for the qualification still depend on other match result, but they can bring this success for their own moral and confidence.
Okay, Harry Maguire and Manchester United's situation is muddled, right? Maguire's growth is admirable. His recent performances have silenced some naysayers. Lets be honest - his prior failures cost the team, and fans took a while to change their tune. Now facing Bayern Munich is another challenge. Bayern may be struggling in their league, but they're still a force, especially against English clubs. United needs to develop a rhythm, not just win this game. Winning against Bayern could bolster them, but stability will need more than one win. They must keep showing themselves, and Maguire is crucial.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 10, 2023, 07:01:23 PM
I support Leverkusen. They've dominated their group, and not just because they have it easy. Though their group wasnt the toughest, they performed well. In five matches, they've scored 14 goals and conceded two, a remarkable performance! This demonstrates their strategy and execution strength this season.

Currently the team that has the biggest chance of winning the title is Liverpool, followed by Leverkusen. Leverkusen did perform very well in the group stage by getting all the wins. But we all know that Leverkusen have relatively easy opponents in the Group. But I still appreciate it because Leverkusen showed an extraordinary performance by conceding only 2 goals. Which proves that they are strong enough for the other teams in the next round.

Do you realize, that Liverpool also got a relatively easy opponent in the group, but the fact is that Liverpool failed to win it all. Also, at least you can also check about Atalanta there and even, Atalanta is in a group that is not easy at all if compared to Liverpool but ya, the fact is that Atalanta managed to win everything so far too. Therefore, I personally think that Liverpool is not the team that is at the forefront to win the Europa League trophy this moment because anyway, the reality is that there are other teams that are better at this moment.

Though there are still more competitive club alongside Liverpool but for now I tell you that no team in the Europa competition that can match up with Liverpool force and squad right now as Liverpool is ready to demolish any club that would want to stand their way right now and for the fact that they're the current league leaders in the EPL will even give them more energy to focus on achieving the two trophies or either of them.
Liverpool's performance is great. Improved play makes them a Europa League powerhouse. I think their EPL dominance gives them an edge psychologically. They shouldnt relax. Bayer Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso has improved and may present unexpected challenges. Whatever the opponent's strength, Liverpool must focus and take every encounter seriously. Even the best footballers can stumble due to complacency.

I think Liverpool's depth and tactical flexibility are advantages. Players must adapt to varied play styles in the Europa League. We all know football is unpredictable. Opposition mistakes or brilliance could change the game. Im thrilled for Liverpool's Europa League run.
1689  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 10, 2023, 06:44:30 PM
I don't regret it as I never felt bad gambling except the few times that I overdid it.I know it is my responsibility to behave correctly,to know when to quit and not go deep down to lose money I cannot afford to lose as that would only bring negative consequences.Based on this I think that it depends on people character, the ones with a weak one most probably regret it a lot while the people with strong character are the ones who don't care what happens to them as they are strong enough to overcome any situation no matter how bad it can be.
Yes, your gambling perspective is insightful. Not everyone has this nuanced insight. You know, most people struggle with responsible gambling and often go too far. You're right - its about self-knowledge. "strong" people have an edge. They can withstand pressure and storms. But remember that even the strongest can fail. It's about being ready for anything, not not caring. We must watch the fine line between confidence and overconfidence. Strike a balance in gambling, as in life. Recognizing one's fallibility, even in strength, may be the greatest wisdom. Your self-awareness and accountability are admirable.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 10, 2023, 06:26:50 PM
Manchester United have not yet found the right coach like Alex Ferguson, but all the coaches who handle the Red Devils have shown their lack of expertise in looking for players who are worthy of being included in the Red Devils squad. In fact, Erik ten Hag brought his former players from AFC Ajax to Manchester United but instead to build Manchester United like AFC Ajax..

But none of the players he brought in brought Manchester United back to glory. In fact, in the months of big clubs, not only in the Champions League in the English League, Manchester United was so disappointing in every match. In fact, it became increasingly unclear what Manchester United was doing. This season..
There is still a lot that needs to be improved about this club and Erik Ten Hag doesn't seem to be able to improve MU's performance to become stronger to take on its former glory days and in my opinion MU needs very talented star players as they used to have reliable players in the club and until now MU has not been able to get players like before and I am very sure that if MU had got talented players like in the past this club could regain its glory but not with Erik Ten Hag.
I really don't trust this coach anymore, even though previously I still believed in seeing MU qualify for the Champions League but it seems to have failed and I don't have any sympathy for the coach.
I believe MU's problem goes beyond talented players. Talent is important, but team dynamics and the coach's adaptability are more important. Ten Hag struggles with tactical versatility, especially in difficult situations. His technique worked well at Ajax, but MU's roster and Premier League intensity require a different approach.

Its not simply about the players' fame or accomplishments. Their form, motivation, and fit with the team's style matter. Consider Hojlund. He's underutilized and feels out of place. This suggests a strategy and execution problem for the team. MU needs a coach who can recruit and integrate talented players into a winning squad. Regaining their old greatness requires more than merely chasing big names.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: December 10, 2023, 06:08:12 PM
I’m a new member here, and I want to gamble on online casinos. I found some good trusted casinos. And I want to begin with a game with a low budget. First, I need your suggestions about the best games, slots. Live casino for a beginner.
Do you think Me starting gambling would effect me in my real life or make me addicted to gambling. What’s you suggestion and advices.

I wonder why do you consider to start gambling? Do you expect to win big or become a pro in poker for example and make it your side hustle?

Of course you can get addicted. Unless you only gamble occasionally and don't have big expectations. For example, I'm only gambling for fun, I have no goals associated with gambling and I mostly do sports betting.
There is the case of just wanting to have fun with it. But these days if we really want to say the truth, the reason why most person go into gambling is because they actually want to rustle up some few bucks which at the long run of everything can be a negative taught that will work against you.
That's it, most of the people who are gambling are doing it for the money, this is as many might pretend to you that it's otherwise. There is no way they can have many behavioural changes and issues towards it if it's to be for entertainment. In this case, at least with this view, it is something they would be enjoying and will have their limits to playing it and will also be using little amounts to have the desired fun without hurt. And if this is positive for the people, it does the job of entertainment which they really need it for, they can't be negatively addicted to the point that it would be worrisome for them and those who know them. Gambling might be good and also good to engage with but our mindset matters, and so does our preparedness even before we start gambling. These are what will make sure that we do not do excessive gambling that could cost us even more than our money if we engage it with the money mindset and without any viable plan.
Intention doesnt matter to addiction. The brain's reward system might get hooked on profit or pleasure. We declare, "Im in control," but how often do we see self-control crumble in the face of gains or losses? Heres a problem: if gambling is for fun, why do so many battle with limits? Perhaps the manner matters more than the why. Approaching gambling with a clear brain and strict boundaries. The key? Not simply for fun or money - to understand ourselves. Even the most "fun" gambler can slide without self-awareness. Instead than judging the "why", lets focus on the "how".
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: December 10, 2023, 05:51:29 PM
Well, we can comfortably say anyone that’s financing a gambler is in a way gambling himself. But the only thing is the financier is only the one that would bear all the losses.
The one doing the financing has to know that winning doesn’t come all the time irrespective of how good the person doing the actual gambling is.

Personally, I think it’s too risky to partake in. Cause you’re the only one who bears all the losses while the person you’re financing would play with funds that’s not his and be totally safe from any risk irrespective of the outcomes of any bets placed.
Surprisingly, funding a gambler is a gamble. Like you, I think this is risky. Why? Since the financier becomes an indirect player, sustaining losses without the joy of the game. Almost like a shadow gambler, invisible but involved. Shouldnt risk be assessed for sustainability rather than short-term gains?

Healthy gambling emphasizes control and awareness, although rapid wins sometimes eclipse it. Financers, blinded by possible wins, disregard this. They ignore human nature, which favors hope over reason. Thus, they bet on luck and human behavior as well as money. A dangerous venture. Why not invest in risk comprehension and mitigation rather than mindlessly financing them?
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: December 10, 2023, 05:33:41 PM
They don't learn it but subconsciously they look around them, usually children are curious because the people around them encourage them to want to find out more about what the people around them are playing, for example gambling, that's why It is very important to keep the child's environment positive. As long as he is still in a negative environment, of course it will be difficult to stop him from learning about gambling.

There are many things that a child often sees, they don't have to see a casino or people gambling, they only have to understand how the people around them are doing their activities indirectly, the point is that as long as they have a very positive environment, ofa course a child will not try to find out more. about gambling.

The gambling industry was build with the younger generation, because now the generation was changed. Now the younger generation was attractive towards the money,it was the reason for the boom in the crypto currency market. The gambling also feed with the huge younger generation by inspiring the old people in their family or by the parents influence to the gambling. If the gambler parent was playing in front of the kids, they easily get tempt to play the gambling in the future.

The gambling also had some negative impact of loss due to the random bet,the kids should ready to play the gambling game by the parents influence most of the time compared to their friends influence.
Explore how gambling attracts youth is intriguing. Your response shows a shift in mindset: younger generations prefer rapid financial benefits from gambling or cryptocurrencies. This raises the question: is this risk-return obsession new or a timeless human tendency worsened by technology? Parental influence on children's gambling is substantial. Gambling teaches parents and children risk-taking. The problem is how to teach kids to discriminate between healthy ambition and reckless speculation in a financial success-driven world.

Understanding gambling addiction psychology is crucial. Complex risk-reward-brain connection. We should encourage calculated risks and informed choices. Shouldn't we reassess our values and education to address these issues?
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: December 10, 2023, 05:15:36 PM
`
I think those who really can't get away from gambling or addiction as well as people who consider gambling their life are people with disturbed thinking and psychology, in the sense that they can't differentiate between what is more of a priority in life.
It will be very difficult to stop someone who has experienced something like that and there is no way that can be successful in healing or stopping it unless they want to stop.
Because it is clear that they have different way of thinking and psychology from normal people in general.

So, that is good thought and decision which will not allow any family member, even our own father, to continue gambling activities in old age because time spent with family during this period is the most valuable time.
The warmth of the family will really be felt because when you are young you are too busy with every activity you do, such as working, doing business and gambling for those who enjoy it, so if you still let it go in old age, it will be great shame.
It is true that problems may also occur that allow disputes to occur between family members and older people usually have emotions that cannot be controlled so we must always pay special attention to them.
Let's face it: gambling addiction is psychologically complex. Bad prioritization is simply one of several cognitive errors. Gamblers often believe they can control outcomes, the gambler's fallacy. This warped perception is a deep-seated belief system that has to be addressed, not just a 'disturbed' opinion.

I differ with you here. This perspective is hard to change, but not impossible. The key? Support and expert intervention. We cannot ignore them and say they won't change until they want to. We must lead them to that realization. You're right about family. Twilight family time is precious, but gambling may ruin it. Empathy, not aggression or shame, bridges gaps. We must be sensitive to their feelings and provide support. The goal is to replace a bad habit with something better—family, interests, community. Balance is delicate, yet we must aim for it.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 10, 2023, 02:06:07 PM
It's possible but I don't think it's entirely and not always like that, but on the other hand there is also a point that loneliness is an indication that someone is addicted to gambling if indeed that person chooses gambling to reduce boredom / fill spare time compared to several other things that are also no less fun. This is only an indication and not entirely, because for addiction problems it always depends on the approach and involvement you have there, if you come because of loneliness and just to fill your spare time I think it doesn't completely make you addicted.

The question is whether you always feel lonely or do not have any activity so that you have a lot of free time? If it is true that you do not have any activity like an unemployed person then obviously I think addiction can occur if you choose gambling to fill your time because over time it is very possible for you to take more interest in the activity especially if you have been given victory based on the wrong mindset and understanding, but if your lonely time is only one day a week then I think it is unlikely.
Addiction frequently stems from psychological requirements, right? Loneliness as a trigger is true, but its not enough. Gambling provides a short high and escape, but isnt it just occupying time? The pleasure, the dopamine rush, right? How gambling replaces other hobbies and becomes the go-to remedy for loneliness or boredom is dangerous. This tiny change is often missed until its too late. It goes beyond free time. Their mental resilience, support system, and risk awareness? These factors are key to addiction vulnerability, right?

The anticipation of a great victory can be intoxicating, right? This harmful worldview is fueled by infrequent wins. Gambling exploits optimism and mistaken beliefs. Your gambling frequency point is intriguing, but isnt it misleading? Addiction isnt time-bound. Experience intensity and emotional reliance matter. Even occasional gamblers can fall into this trap if their beliefs and emotional needs match gambling's seduction. Understanding psychology is essential to treating gambling addiction, right?
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 10, 2023, 01:34:00 PM
Playing for the first time is not the basis if the gambler is going to become addicted or not. Regardless of you win or lose when you first time playing, it still depends on your mindset towards gambling. Is it a way to make money or just for entertainment?

But there are people who see losses as an indication to just stop because of that bad experience. While others chose to continue to somehow recover back their money. Some of us believe that winning can trigger the gambler to keep playing, it might be true. But again, it depends on how you treat gambling, how you value your money to risk in games where luck is a major factor to be able to win. Because if you have no discipline and just let your emotion control you, certainly gambling can affect you negatively that can lead to addiction.
Is it naive to reduce addiction to mentality and discipline? We must accept casinos' clever strategies for hooking gamblers. Everything from slot machine sounds and lights to casino floor architecture is carefully engineered to attract and retain gamblers. In addition to strength, a person must understand their environment. Every piece is designed to attack human vulnerabilities in this psychological battleground. Isnt it equally vital to teach potential gamblers about these traps as mindset?

Money and winning are triggers, yes. What about societal factors? Do peer pressure, gambling camaraderie, and the glamorization of "large winnings" contribute to addiction? Gambling is social. Gambling may be for fun or profit, but social dynamics often influence behavior. Why not also address these social factors and educate individuals about how they can be quietly manipulated into gambling more than they intended? Not just the individual, but the gambling ecosystem. Dont we need a broader, more comprehensive approach to identify and reduce gambling addiction risks?

I say once again that the truth is that gamblers are aware that the chance of losing is greater than winning, but they don't care about it because their ambition exceeds their excessive expectations of winning.
What more, they feel it, an adrenaline rush that truly satisfies pleasure that might truly be considered pleasure like no other.
What you have to realize is not that the chance of losing is greater than winning but realizing and changing your ambitions and goals in gambling to win because this will have more influence and can change gambler mindset.
Moreover, what they are playing is slot which clearly works randomly, but this is what always makes gamblers curious and interested in slot games where they will be proud and happy if they win.
Slots are the only game that has a very large fan base, even bigger than other types of games, and slot games are also the only games that can spend large amounts of money in a short time.

Yes, you are right that every gambler must stay away from or eliminate the thought of being able to make gambling a place that can make money because they come to spend money, not look for money that can be obtained for sure.
It better to just gamble as you should and never go too far in having the wrong approach.
As gambler, you must be able to differentiate between places that can make money and places that are only used for fun.
It's true that you said that his ambition is too big to cover his awareness that gambling is just entertainment and there is a greater possibility that he will lose than he will win. Those who gamble too often will not be able to think that they have actually lost a lot of money, which will be difficult to recover even if they decide to gamble longer. Slot games require luck to be able to win, so gamblers must be aware that if they have experienced quite a lot of losses, it means that their luck did not come at that time and they should immediately stop gambling. Even though their ambitions will be bigger, they should be able to understand that their ambitions will only be fulfilled by playing slots because slot games are very difficult to win and get big multipliers that can give them big wins.

Gamblers should be able to limit their gambling activities and not think about using gambling as a place to make money. They should gamble with enough money so that they can avoid losing a lot and also avoid gambling addiction, which has become a serious problem. If they can make the best use of gambling, they will be able to enjoy gambling as entertainment and a place to get pleasure.
First, the gambling industry relies on the "gambler's fallacy" - the idea that past occurrences randomly affect future outcomes. The tricky part is that casinos skillfully construct slot games to exploit this. It's not just luck but complex psychological traps. Realistically, the house always wins; its their business strategy. Given this, gamblers should be cautious with slots.

Limiting gambling is essential! The industry is regulated to prevent exploitation, but personal responsibility matters. We must raise awareness. Why are cigarette packs required to have warnings but not slot machines? Gamblers should know that gambling is entertainment, not a business. Walking on thin ice requires caution to avoid falling. Dont fool yourself; the house always wins. We must speak out against promoting gambling as a way to wealth; most gamblers fail.

Aston Villa are still continuing incredibly well. They have added another win to their streak. This was their eighth home win at the same time. With this performance they can even fight for the title but it is still early to talk about that of course. Because their consistency level will determine that. However for now Aston Villa are definitely doing much bigger work than their capacity.

This is thanks to Emery's great working system of course. The bond between the players and him must also be very strong now. They stay really mentally strong against even the biggest teams of the league. They have just beaten Manchester City and Arsenal I mean this is very impressive.

Aston Villa is certainly in the conversation for the Premier League race
Beat Arsenal and the champions Manchester City, 15 home wins in a row, 3rd  and 2 points off the top. Villa is riding on the crest of a wave at the moment.

But It wasn't a bad game by Arsenal. I think they were a bit intimidated because the coach wasn’t there. Normally they wouldn't let such an easy goal in.
Overall, It was an amazing game. Arsenal at least deserved a goal.

I like Aston Villa's right now. Being in the top 3 is no easy task, especially after beating Arsenal and Manchester City. Having 15 home wins in a row and being 2 points behind the leaders shows they're serious. I agree that their consistency versus weaker teams may be an issue. Villa must demonstrate consistency to fight for the crown.

I think Arsenal performed well despite losing. Their performance may have suffered without their coach. They usually wouldnt concede such a goal, but football is unpredictable. They deserved a goal for their work. The game was spectacular, and both teams showed why they're on top this season.

For Bayern Munich, their loss to Frankfurt will cause them a lot in their title race should Bayern Leverkusen win Stuttgart in their match today.

It's quite a big goal difference, even from the start I was convinced the worst result was a draw. It seems that Tuchel's statement is correct, if Bayern's players take the match too easily. This resulted in their mental breakdown when the opponent made 2 goals. This saw the first half they lost by 3 goals. Even Frankfrut took the initiative to attack, they seemed to deliberately shock Munich by pressing above, so that Munich was not free to control the ball.
That scoreline is still beyond what I understand. Something feels off about Bayern Munich losing by such a wide margin. They appeared to be outside of Frankfurt's league. A team like that one would be expected to win, if not at least put up a fight. Football, though, is a volatile sport. We are reminded by times like this that even the greatest can buckle under duress. Bayern might use this game as a sobering reality check. This loss must be taken seriously, and they must grow from it in order to return stronger. If not, that would drastically threaten their goals, especially in the Champions League.

Juventus are winning but they score few goals per game making them indeed weak since once their opponent score a goal or two against them, the game is kinda over for Juventus. Poor Napoli, taking successive defeats..
Indeed Inter are very strong but they cannot create a larger gap against vs Juventus. The gap is clearer vs Milan after their unfortunate defeat vs Atalanta.

Yea we also need to consider that Inter will have almost all the big games at home in the second half of the season while Juventus will have, INTER, Napoli, Lazio, Roma away.

As we know home or away games are a big thing in football.
Inter and Juventus' next matches have been on my mind. Actually, Inter playing most of their major games at home in the second part of the season could help them. Home advantage can give them a big advantage in football. The tough road games make me worried about Juventus' position. Juventus has some hope. Allegri is a manager who excels against the odds. They may not be as deep as Inter, but Allegri's ability to maximize potential could be their wild card. How they handle top-team road games will be intriguing. Their resilience and plan will be tested.
