1581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risk and reward of having Bitcoin on: December 18, 2023, 12:44:12 PM
Yes, exactly. When we fail to invest in bitcoin completely it is only our own fault, there is no fault with bitcoin. Because bitcoin technology is so perfect, even bitcoin is freedom because no one can control it, who can control each of us, so be wise in using bitcoin, especially regarding wallet security.

So it is true that before investing in Bitcoin we have to study in more detail first so that there are no mistakes that result in losses to ourselves. It could be said that the risk of Bitcoin depends entirely on us in maintaining and using it. Moreover, there are many benefits that we can get from investing in Bitcoin.
Which makes people wiser in investing because of their knowledge and including how someone can make the security of bitcoin storage much more guaranteed. When people have limited knowledge, they are worried about storing bitcoins on an exchange and the reason is because they think exchanges and wallets are the same. For this reason, when someone has the desire to invest, they need to learn how to invest correctly and also how to choose a safe wallet as a place to store bitcoin.

Everyone who experiences losses on bitcoin is due to lack of knowledge because bitcoin is a pretty perfect move if people do it right. Both losses due to the decline process that makes them sell bitcoins and the loss of bitcoins are caused by the level of security of the wallet used and all of this is caused by shallow knowledge.
Exchanges and wallets are different. Exchanges handle transactions, wallets store. This distinction is critical to security. Understanding this improves investment intelligence and reduces Bitcoin storage stress.

Insufficient information causes Bitcoin's volatility-related losses. Well-informed investors anticipate market volatility and plan accordingly. This goes beyond knowing when to purchase or sell to comprehending the bitcoin market's fundamentals.

Security concerns are real, but misinformation exaggerates them. Carefully selecting a secure wallet greatly decreases dangers. Continuous learning and careful decision-making should lead our Bitcoin journey, maximizing potential while limiting risks.
1582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: December 18, 2023, 12:30:19 PM
Bitcoin hodling, especially over the long term, works well with diverse portfolios. It's important to spread out your money, especially if Bitcoin is risky. Although Bitcoin seems like a good way to save money, it shouldnt be the only thing you do with your money.

Stable jobs bring in money and keep your finances in order. This liquidity is very important for Bitcoin and other risky businesses. It keeps your investments safe during market downturns instead of selling them quickly.

People who dont have a steady income should work on getting financially stable. Bitcoin is interesting, but it shouldnt be your main way to manage your money. For this long-term play to work, you need a strong cash base. Bitcoin is a revolutionary way to handle money, but trading requires care and balance.

1583  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Issues Important Warning as It Plans to Perform Wallet Maintenance on: December 18, 2023, 12:00:22 PM
Maintenance is common  to ensure security and functionality. Transparency regarding these transactions is good. All crypto exchanges should follow Binance's example of open contact with users.

In asset safety, "funds are safu" is a commitment. This maintenance continues Binance's strong security. Richard Teng, who succeeds CZ, will likely prioritize user security and trust.

For Bitcoin supporters, this is a non-issue. Due to its decentralization, exchange maintenance does not affect Bitcoin's stability or security. This does not harm the blockchain. Bitcoin enthusiasts dont need to worry - these routine maintenances are normal
1584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy bitcoin ETF now? on: December 18, 2023, 11:40:33 AM
Look at the ETF's nature: it provides Bitcoin access without the actual of owning Bitcoins. ETFs are easy, but they dont offer the same control or potential benefits as owning Bitcoin directly. You invest in an ETF that tracks the price, not the asset.

Second, market conditions always matter. ETF near-sold-out position shows tremendous demand, but market timing is uncertain. Is now the best time to enter, or should you wait? Considering these factors is crucial.

If you love Bitcoin, why not buy it directly? This  helps the Bitcoin ecosystem and promotes bitcoin ownership. Direct investing provides a closer relationship with the asset, worth considering.
1585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to approach supporting a platform that now holds views contrary to your own on: December 18, 2023, 11:21:15 AM
In a future where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies may dominate our monetary system, correct information is essential. If a trusted source spreads Bitcoin rumors, one should take multiple approaches. First, contact content providers with evidence-based concerns. Explain how misinformation can damage Bitcoin's reputation and digital currency understanding.

Evaluate their other stuff. If their health, history, or art work is unmatched, keep supporting them. They contribute greatly to your interests. If the quality of these sections declines or their anti-Bitcoin becomes overbearing, reconsider your support.

Lastly, support matters. Subscribing and donating promotes their platform. You can send a clear statement by withdrawing support if they keep spreading disinformation. Their true material must be balanced against their Bitcoin stance's potential harm.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 17, 2023, 06:14:17 PM
Lewandowski could always leave, we are talking about it like it's impossible but he is not doing all that great at Barcelona and they may look for another striker, in that case they will want to get rid of him and the ego of Lewandowski will not allow himself to be a bench player so he will have to move to another team. He has two choices, either he will go to a team that's top of the table at some lower league, or midtable in another league.

I mean why would you want to get paid 5 to 10 million in a club that will not win the title when you could make 100-150 million at some Saudi team? That's the most important part and I think he will want to leave for a lot of money, he will be set for life with that kind of money if he goes there.

We still don't know where he will go if there is finally a club willing to pay him. Barcelona wants to make a profit, moreover, they have to get a suitable replacement or they will strengthen certain lines that Xavi feels are still lacking.
However, the Saudi Professional league has its attraction for top European players to join one of the teams. Lewandowski is 35 years old. don't expect too much but if he gets the right team in Saudi, I think he can be very productive.
Robert Lewandowski is one of the legendary strikers in Europe, and he is already done his best, but his contract is going to end after 2026 currently he is 35 years old his performance in last season was exceptional but now in this season he is struggling just because of this now we have rumors about his possible move even officially nothing is coming about this all but few Saudi clubs are interested specially after departure of the Neymar Jr now this league is waiting for another big name, and he can be possibly in this list even most chances we will have Mohammad Salah also in this league in next season but as organizers having few big names in last season again things can go on this way, and they will give try few players those are near to ending their careers they can make big amount with this transfer and Barcelona and Lewandowski can also do this same.
I think Robert Lewandowski's Barcelona situation is funnny. He's a legend, but at 35, his finest years may be behind him. As expected considering his age, his performance this season has been subpar. The Saudi Pro League may suit him. Money is a big issue, but so is the league's slower pace than Europe. This could fit Lewandowski's professional stage.

Barcelona, however, appears to be struggling. Relying on an older striker, however famous, isnt sustainable because they're no longer dominant. If they release Lewandowski, they'll have to find a successor, which is difficult. Perhaps Lewandowski should seek a less demanding league and Barcelona a younger, more exciting striker.
1587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: December 17, 2023, 05:56:50 PM
Imo everything where money are involved must be done with care. Otherwise they will turn into sand and will slide awat through your fingers. Even if gambling for fun. Careless money management decreases fun time. Even rich should have careless attitude towards money. Some might say that I am old, greedy or scrooge, but I feel annoyed every time I see someone spend money like they dont care all. Perhaps I just know how sometimes it is hard to earn Smiley

I think the difficulty of making money is one of the reasons why we have to be careful in gambling, and the real concept in gambling is that casinos will drain  the money we have if we take a careless approach, which is why more of them suffer losses in The appeal of making money, none other than I think one reasonable reason is because the difficulty of making money makes them think that gambling can give them a  win or simply that this is a good place to make money, even though the reality is far from what they imagine.

Therefore, we must have a proper understanding of gambling so that we do not suffer the same fate as those who are misguided and end up getting lost in the cycle of losing to winning. That's true, sometimes even if you come with the intention of just looking for fun, it cannot be denied that defeat will definitely happen, so as much as possible we must be able to minimize everything, limit hopes and expectations, set a small budget and limit the time involved. I think those who spend a lot of money don't mean they don't care about the amount they lose but it seems like they consider it like a sacrifice for a bigger win.

In our future society, when financial literacy is crucial, your gaming observations are powerful. We show that gambling, a tempting way to get rich, often destroys finances. The drive for fast money and a lack of awareness of the chances are factors. Education is vital here. We must promote gaming transparency and risk awareness.

Interesting, our "healthy" gambling approach evolves with us. Setting limits is different from banning it. A responsible gambler uses a minimal budget and time constraints. Despite the thrill, we stay alert. Not frivolous but deliberate excess.

There is a deeper issue. Gambling is a desperate attempt to escape financial misery for some. This misconception that gaming may solve financial problems must be addressed. Society must prevent people from believing they've won a life-changing prize when seeking entertainment. A healthier, more informed approach to gaming requires education and responsible gambling.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: December 17, 2023, 05:34:43 PM
That is crazy I mean the news said he is the grandpa's same blood right, after this happened I don't know what happened with this family I think its gonna fall apart. In my opinion gambling is just for fun that evolve money not gonna explode like this one.

I hope case like this wont happen again.
Anyone who has ever experienced an addiction will definitely feel like they have forgotten everything, they will do whatever it takes to be able to finance their gambling, no matter what their grandchildren or other people close to them are, the addict will definitely ignore that, if they do that, it means they are a very serious addict, because if a lower level addict wouldn't do something stupid like that, because they could still make money in other ways.

Addicts are getting weirder every day, but sometimes it's quite difficult for older people to get money when they're old unless they do that, crimes that don't actually have to be done to satisfy their addiction, it's really beyond reason, even a grandfather still doesn't understand that Gambling is just entertainment.  Grin
In my opinion, this is no longer about gambling addiction but rather a crime, how could a grandfather kidnap his grandson just to be used as collateral? I think the grandfather was in a psychological state disturbed by his gambling, indeed sometimes gambling addiction has a bad impact on our lives, especially for the future, for example, like this grandfather who is still actively gambling and his age is no longer possible, but age is not an obstacle to taking actions that are out of control and finally did this stupid act, I think this grandfather's gambling is at the stage of a chronic gambler and is very worrying.

It is true that there are stupid acts committed by addicts, even in my local media news, there are people who commit stupid acts of breaking into ATM machines just because he was addicted to slot gambling and wanted to continue his activities but his money had run, so he ended up doing a rash act like that but in the end he didn't succeed but ended up in prison.
A ridiculous act, isn't it?? Grin Cheesy
We must go beyond surface-level crime to address this tragedy. Though wrong, the grandfather's actions reflect the destructive potential of unrestricted addiction. His desperation shows our addiction and mental health policies are failing.

Future society must distinguish recreational gambling from addiction. Education and proactive help are crucial. We should encourage early addiction detection and stigma-free treatment. Should we prioritize mental health and addiction care like physical health?

Family influence must be considered. The family is traumatized and distrustful by this incident. How do we protect fragile children like this from addiction's effects? Our society must address these concerns quickly, comprehensively, and compassionately.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: December 17, 2023, 05:15:59 PM
Obviously, gambling is a business; gambling only becomes a way for us to become addicted to it. But gambling itself was not the main reason; instead, the main reason was that we were driven by greed to become addicted to gambling because we experienced winning by playing gambling on the gambling platform.

There are still many gamblers who use casinos to gamble, but they do not become addicted to gambling or develop an addiction to it because they know how to limit themselves from gambling. In short, they are responsible gamblers.

Right, and they would laugh after reading "Reckless gambling starts after a win round". What? After a winning round they collect their winnings and cash out. What kind of a greedy person one must be to start gambling recklessly after a win round? When are you going to stop then, after a losing round?

That is a situation where their mental and psychological will be played, isn't winning something that gamblers always want? of course, but do you know what impact there will be on your mindset after you experience such a situation? I think healthy people and always think realistically and address gambling will not go wrong even if they get an extraordinary sensation from the situation of winning with large amounts, but unfortunately most gamblers experience a change in mindset and point of view when they have experienced such situations and conditions.

Usually they will assume that "this seems like a good place to earn" and after that winning is not the end of the world, because of the change in mindset and increased hopes and higher expectations they will usually apply greed by hoping to get a much larger amount because they feel that luck is still there even though it is completely unknown. In my opinion, such gamblers will never stop especially after winning, usually they will stop after running out of ways and money, simply put, losing is curious and winning is addictive, that's what they are.
Your gambler psychology observation is right. Gambling is about the joy of beating the odds, not just winning money. While thrilling, this feeling might distort reality. Casino winners can fall into a cognitive trap, thinking they've found a profitable path. Dangerous perception skews reasonable judgment.

Second, post-victory mindset change is crucial. The move from gambling as entertainment to income is risky. Why? This shift encourages greed and distorts risk assessment. Gamblers want bigger rewards, ignoring rising hazards.

Winning is obviously addictive. The "curious losing" and "addictive winning" cycle is dangerous. Problem gambling is fueled by an inability to quit and a constant search of the next 'high'. This involves both individual willpower and a society adjustment in gambling perception and regulation.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 17, 2023, 04:56:16 PM
It seems the bad financial situation is just putting Barcelona under more pressure because Claudio Echeverriinthe Argentinian player who has the same playing style as Messi and people think this young talent can shine for his team like Messi but Barcelona cannot hire him because of the financial issues they have in the team. In fact, Claudio Echeverri, the player of the Atlético River Plate is even interested in joining Barcelona but he should wait to see if Barcelona can have a better financial situation in the future or not.

I really feel bad for Barcelona right now. It hurts to see a club with such a long past having money problems. As for Claudio Echeverri, its too bad that money problems are stopping what could be a good addition to the team. While Echeverri isnt Messi (because really, who is?), he's really good at what he does. It might be too much to compare him to Messi, though. The way Echeverri plays is unique, and we shouldnt expect him to be "the next Messi." For Barcelona, its clear that the money mistakes they made in the past are coming back to hurt them. This is a tough lesson in being responsible with money and planning ahead. They need to make a better plan, and right now it seems like the most important thing is to strengthen their defense line.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: December 17, 2023, 04:33:41 PM
It's pretty exciting, making a successful career in gambling. If what you mean is to make gambling a basic job to meet the needs of a day-to-day life and hope to live a successful life and have a lot of treasure, I think it's very difficult.
However, if you expect big gains in gambling, like you win the lottery or get other big wins, it's still quite possible. If you have a lot of money, maybe you can make a gambling site. As a gambling site owner, maybe this can be a promising profession.

I also think that way, it will be difficult for gambling to be the main income in life because in my opinion gambling is not a place to make money, also with a win that is difficult to get and it is impossible to get a win always which is made the main income in life, big wins do exist but it is impossible to get every time we gamble, because the bookie is also not stupid so there is no way they will let gamblers win continuously.

That's right, if becoming a casino owner can be said to be successful in gambling, because if only his role as a gambling player is difficult for me to say successful. by owning your own casino and it must make a profit every day, there will be a profitable income. this can only be called success in gambling.

people who play casino games that depend on luck when they win a lot of money because they were lucky to hit a big multiplier, these people do not take the time to calculate how much money they have deposited at the casino since the day they created an account at the casino and how much money they lost since the day they created an account at the casino and how much money they managed to win since the day they created an account at the casino and then they will see if even with that big win they are making a profit or not. Why is it so important for people to do this?

It is very important that people do this because they need to see to what extent they are profiting or losing so that they can analyze whether it is worth continuing to play and for how long they will have money to play and lose and whether it is not time to get the money. who won and stop playing altogether. In my opinion, when a person manages to hit a big multiplier and wins a lot of money, then that person should take that money and stop playing and live life in the real world, they can take the money and invest in a business that will at least be able to guarantee money for health and good life in old age
Gambling's genuine financial impact is crucial. We typically focus on large successes and ignore the hidden losses. Why do we ignore this? Confirmation bias makes us emphasize wins and downplay losses. However, only by carefully recording our deposits and transactions can we see the whole picture. Responsible gaming goes beyond profit or loss.

Think ahead to future society. In an age of data-driven decisions, this analytical approach to gambling is crucial. Understand long-term financial sustainability, not just today's triumphs or losses.

The appeal of a large win is tremendous, but the reality is often different. We must promote informed, prudent gambling over jackpot hunting. This strategy is smart and essential for financial security, especially in retirement.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 17, 2023, 04:11:48 PM
Lens struggled to get a win in the first 5 weeks, but they managed to pick themselves up and they haven't lost in the league for 11 weeks, a statistic that reminds me of last season again.Lens will continue on their way in the Europa League even if they are eliminated from the Champions League group. The opponents they will face here are easier and more competitive teams for them, so they can focus a little more on the league. Lens, who are currently 5th in the league, will at least want to finish in the top 3 of the league. The next week they will go to Nice, one of the form teams of the league, and this will be a very important match for them. The next week they will play PSG, so the better these 2 weeks go for them, the better their chances of finishing the league in a better place.
Lens is looking great lately. Their league unbeaten record is outstanding and reminds me of last season. They've persevered to recover from a slow start. I think they're right to prioritize Ligue 1. Given their 5th place in the league, they should prioritize league progress above the Europa League. These games are essential with Nice and PSG coming up. They could finish in the top 3 if they keep up their form. They have momentum, but it will be tough.

Although crucial, their Europa League performance shouldnt overshadow their league objectives. They've shown they can compete well, and I think they can beat expectations with the correct focus. How they manage these high-pressure games will matter. Their confidence will soar if they beat Nice and PSG. Im excited to watch how Lens fans do in these crucial matches.
1593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: December 17, 2023, 03:49:19 PM
~snip~

Gambling at work is a bad thing. Bad for the company and bad for yourself.
Work will be neglected when we gamble while at the office, because our performance will decrease and that is detrimental. If this happens repeatedly, it is possible that you will be kicked out of the company.
Which means you won't get the salary you might normally use for gambling. It's better to be wise in gambling, you have to be able to manage your time. Because life is not just about gambling.
Not everything will be that bad and what you said is bit excessive because it all depends on how worker manages his time.
For example, when it lunch time and you have approximately 30 minutes, during that time you can eat lunch by playing game session such as slots or card games and this is just for refreshing.
There is nothing bad as long as it is within limits and can be controlled because bad things will happen if you overdo it and you cannot control it. Of course, when you can manage everything well then nothing will be harmed.

Moreover, if like manager finds out that you gamble during work breaks, I sure he won't be angry, he won't fire you even though you gamble almost every work break.
Because if you work well and can be responsible for your work or you could say that what you do can be completed well then what you do during your break time will never be problem.
Remember that even simple behaviors like gaming during breaks can increase. One could argue that a fast game is just relaxation. We shouldnt ignore the slippery slope. Healthy gambling? The idea is complex. Setting and following limits is important, but so is recognizing dangers. When you say "as long as it is within limits," you assume everyone has self-control. Not always.

Too optimistic is the idea that a boss will gamble during breaks. Professional conduct is as vital as performance. Its not only about tasks; its about professional conduct. Think about it: Which message does it send coworkers? Could it affect workplace dynamics?

Gambling as a refreshment is exciting but risky. Knowing the difference between a harmless hobby and a doorway to bad behavior is crucial. Is this the greatest method to recharge? Are there healthier options? Setting an example for work-life balance is important, not simply for the individual.
1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: December 17, 2023, 03:26:53 PM
I can tell by your gambling that you are short of money. You want to make money from gambling. Or do you want to get rich from gambling? I think you need to find a part-time job to earn money reliably and no longer have time to think about gambling. Gradually, you will understand that money is not as easy to earn as we thought.
In gambling, almost everyone thinks it will be an easy and quick job to make money. As a matter of fact, more people lose money than make money.
It's really true only a few make money gambling most persons lose but don't come out to really make it public so it looks like they are making it gambling but then the reverse is the case. Most of the time these people only put out their wins which are gotten only a few times and not always, so it's important we don't allow ourselves to me moved by that.

Money isn't easy to come buy but a few wins few times in gambling will make you think it's actually easy to come by until you probably suffer some losses the it will come to your knowledge that it's easy making money and the few wins were just luck coming by a few times so it's very important we get something els doing so we don't turn really reliant on gambling but engage in gambling only a few times when we have got the times and few cash to spare.
No gambler will say publicly about his defeat and the majority of gamblers will only talk about the wins they have had.
When there is gambler who actually says his defeat it means it was big defeat and he talks about it to ask for suggestions and advice regarding his defeat.
Moreover, when gambler tells of his defeat, he will definitely only be called stupid gambler because he lost his money in betting, things like this will always happen in social environment.
Maybe there are several people who will give advice and direction to stop or reduce the intensity of the gambling they do and of course there are still very few people who care like this out there.

Most gamblers, after getting their winning, don't immediately withdraw it but try to make another win by betting more, only in the end they don't get the winning but all the winning money runs out without any remaining.
And I agree that money will be very valuable but this is why many gamblers try to gain more from gambling and try to recover when they suffer losses.
This attitude is what most gamblers always do and indeed the best step is to have time and financial limits.

But about gambling addicts they can't set limits and they can't set time for when to play and stop, even they can't manage their finances well.
If you think about it logically, gambling addict becomes person who really experiences big losses financially, even though psychologically they also experience pressure.
But in terms of financial calculations, gambling addict bets without having any limits.
They will lose any amount of money just for gambling and when they realize it is all gone and they have to spend some money back to pay professional who can help cure them of the problem of gambling addiction.
This kind of understanding must be given to novice gamblers so that they can be careful and avoid excessive gambling activities that can cause addiction.
Society shuns gambling losses, yet they must be acknowledged. Gamblers who acknowledge defeat seek advice because it's a major loss. This disclosure deserves understanding and advice, not mockery. Why? Because acknowledging a problem is the first step to fixing it. Gamblers seek losses because they think a large victory is coming. But this loop deepens the financial abyss.

Addiction is a major issue. Gamblers lose sight of time and money constraints. Gambling over their means causes financial and mental stress. New gamblers must be warned of these hazards. Prevention of excessive gambling and addiction requires awareness. We must encourage safe gaming and help those in need. Not just financial health, but total well-being.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 03:02:23 PM
Gambling isnt my problem. A "sometimes" gambling issue is noteworthy. It suggests a cyclical pattern - a dormant issue that resurfaces under particular situations. One may not struggle daily, but certain pressures or triggers bring it back. Many behaviors fluctuate with life's circumstances, including gambling.

The second point, ending a cycle needs introspection and change. Not simply avoiding gambling locations or activities, but knowing triggers. Routine changes, new interests, and exercise can help. More crucially, it entails recognizing emotional or psychological conditions before relapse. Knowing one's vulnerability enables for proactive action.

Treating intermittent or chronic gambling requires a holistic strategy. Lifestyle adjustments, emotional resilience, and self-awareness are involved. Breaking the loop requires recognizing patterns, triggers, and weaknesses.
1596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 17, 2023, 02:40:00 PM
It is too early to make such comment in my opinion. Because there are 22 more games to be played for Napoli. Everything can change significantly in this time period. Mazzarri isn't a very successful manager considering his whole career so I wouldn't be so sure about him already. He doesn't have a much different career than Rudi Garcia in the end.

This win over Cagliari was good for Napoli. This would surely improve their morale to play better in next games. But we need to see some consistency from them in the future to be able to trust them more for betting on them as well. For now I will continue to avoid betting on them.  Smiley
That's right, we haven't been able to see Napoli in just a few matches and we have to look broadly, perhaps until the end of this season, regardless of Mazzarri's past or track record in the past playing the teams he coaches, but with Napoli it will certainly be different and also the management Napoli does not need to rush because nothing is instant in football, let alone building a team like Naoli, which has lost character after being abandoned by its coach at the end of last season.
I think Napoli's situation isnt so bad. They've had a hard period, and losing their coach last season threw them off. Remember that rebuilding Napoli is a marathon, not a sprint. I think Mazzarri can help them rediscover their rhythm again. Beyond this season, they must think long-term.

However, football is unpredictable, even though Inter is leading the group. Napoli are down but still in contention. If they focus on each game, progress gradually, and maybe change tactics, who knows? They may yet be influential this season. I hope to see a great recovery.
1597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 17, 2023, 02:22:16 PM
Watching with bet used to be more enjoyable than just watching a match. When you've placed a bet on a match, it makes us watch the match and gives us the opportunity to avoid loss if things were against our prediction. Apart from the same my preference used to be live betting which lets us predict the outcome in a much closer manner.

Not for me though, when I watch the game and I see my team aren't playing well, everytime I do a live bet, I have experience losing most of the time. So it's not working for me, watching it and thinking of live betting will only make the situation worse, unless you are a professional sports bettor and you have a data to back up your pick, however, if it's "emotion-based" bet, forget it.
Losing much time when watching all matches its not good ideas but you will feel how interested and more push your adrenaline exactly in sport betting. You can watch football matches and see how to make it interested exactly with your teams bet have won but with small score and left few minutes before ended your favorite teams on under pressure. I believe you can't wait for referee as soon stop the game and not give many minutes for additional time. Only watching with one teams for betting but I agree with you when watching all matches bet waste and losses our time exactly in football have more than 90 minutes o every match.

Just watching one match only and another matches result waiting from livescore update, its not take more time and return when matches have ended to see our bet win or loss.
Your love for sports betting is obvious, but you must be cautious. A single match enhances the experience but limits one's perspective. Isnt understanding the sport's context exciting? By focusing on one's stake, one risks missing the game's richer tapestry.

Additionally, livescore updates alone can be risky. While saving time, it also removes us from the game's full dynamics. We gain efficiency, but at what cost to our sports knowledge and appreciation?

Finally, responsible betting is crucial. Its about healthy, sustainable sports participation, not just winning. We should enjoy the sport, not simply our bets.

Yes if both husband and wife become addicted to gambling then it is better for your wife to stop gambling. Female people are rarely addicted to gambling and taking care of their family members is more important than gambling. It will be difficult to protect the family if the girl becomes addicted. If a guy spends time gambling a girl can bring him back to normal if he wants. The better the experience about gambling the easier the game.
Yes, of course the wife should first give up gambling and then her husband should be made aware of the evils of gambling.  Because girls have less courage to take risks than boys but boys never hesitate to take big risks. Because of this, it is very difficult for girls to give up gambling to boys.  Because of this, it is more important to give up the wife's gambling. Because after giving up gambling, the wife can convince the son-in-law about its bad side and if necessary, she can put pressure on the husband and give up gambling.
The gender-based strategy to risk-taking and gambling you propose makes no sense. First, the claim that women are less risk-taking than men is untrue and creates negative stereotypes. Future societies acknowledge that risk behavior is individual, not gender-specific.

Second, believing a wife's gambling abstinence will affect her husband or son-in-law is wrong. Healthy gambling requires personal responsibility and understanding one's actions, not just following others. Problem gambling should be treated by professionals and supportive communities regardless of gender.

Pressuring someone to change their gambling habits is unproductive. It overlooks addiction's complexity and the necessity for supportive, knowledgeable treatment. Instead of pressure or gender-based decisions, awareness, support, and professional intervention lead to healthy change.

I never knew Barcelona would be finding it very hard to get a goal in this encounter against Valencia and it seems like Barcelona are gradually getting weak by the day. I don't see them having that force to make teams pay, like making them lose possession of the ball.
The second half shouldn't end like the first half did, I believe that Valencia would be pleased with the result if they have to end the game in a draw. At this point Xavi needs to make some changes to make the team start getting goals in all games because if you noticed in the champions league they (Barcelona) didn't play like they used to, even the game before the champions league game against the league leaders Girona, they couldn't keep up with the pressure that was on them.
I won't say Barcelona would win but if that happens, they need to go and come back with a better plan in their next game.
Barcelona were playing good football and winning their La Liga matches at the start of the La Liga season, but all of a sudden they started struggling to score goals in all competition. Barcelona's poor performance made them lose their last match in the Uefa Champions League. If Real Madrid wins against Villarreal today, they will be 7 points clear of Barcelona in the La Liga table.

I believe real Madrid should claim another 3 points from Villarreal today. Real Madrid has remain unbeaten in 25 of their 26 most recent home matches in La Liga. So I expect a win from home today as well.
Like you, I anticipate Real Madrid to beat Villarreal. Given Villarreal's weak form, especially away, Real should easily get those three points. Bellingham's recent game-changing form has amazed me. He may score against Villarreal and make an impact. Real Madrid fans consider this match a sure thing.

Villarreal's defense is struggling, so Real Madrid may score numerous goals. Real is a tough opponent at Bernabeu for Villarreal, who are trying to stay in the standings. I hope the bookies recognize the odds and offer something worthwhile. In games like these, Real Madrid shines, and I'm delighted to see them play and possibly close the table gap.

This week, we will see league leaders Leverkusen take on Frankfurt. Frankfurt itself is not a club that can be underestimated, they are a club that can provide surprises that were not expected before. So Leverkusen must be very careful in this match, if they still want to be at the top of the standings.

One defeat will not threaten their first position in the Bundesliga but it will be very dangerous because they will only be 1 point behind Bayern. But I think it will be an easy win for Leverkusen. They are unbeaten this season. This means they are very strong so Frankfurt doesn't seem to be able to surprise the other teams. Leverkusen does have to be careful with some underrated teams but for me they will always get the win because I see them being too strong this season.

Although Bayer Leverkusen remains the favorite to win and also, Bayer Leverkusen still has a very impressive trend of being unbeaten so far this season. But yes, I still think it will not be easy to beat Eintracht Frankfurt because yes, basically Eintracht Frankfurt is not a weak team and also not an easy team to beat. Therefore, I believe it will still not be easy for Bayer Leverkusen to beat Eintracht Frankfurt in this match.

Indeed, Bayer Leverkusen will also play at home and of course, playing at home will make Bayer Leverkusen seem certain to win. But yes, of course Bayer Leverkusen also remains to have a great effort in this match, because to get 3 points in a situation like this is certainly not easy.

We can't just take because Eintracht Frankfurt won Bayern Munich last weekend and start seeing them as a threat to Bayern Leverkusen, Bayern Leverkusen is a team that put most of their energy in matches just to attain a positive result so despite that Eintracht Frankfurt won a giant side like Bayern Munich doesn't mean that they will do the same to Bayern Leverkusen because if you watch Bayern Leverkusen pattern of play you will understand that Xabi Alonso is doing everything possible to make sure that his team achieve the best results in their matches.
Yes, Eintracht Frankfurt's win over Bayern Munich was spectacular, but it doesnt make them a threat to Bayer Leverkusen. We've all seen Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso-led success. Their form and approach are evident in their 14-game league unbeaten streak. I think Leverkusen knows Frankfurt's game and can counter them. Leverkusen is my pick. Home advantage and a strong attacking and defending line give them an edge. Frankfurt pulling off another upset is unlikely.
