1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 17, 2023, 11:40:27 AM
I'm preparing for the college entrance exam to go to college, so I can't make money from working. I get about $100 of allowance from my father every month. I use all of them to buy bitcoin because I can use father's credit card for expenses such as food, clothes. I can buy Bitcoin on a satoshi basis every month, but when I see people buying Bitcoin basis on the internet, I feel like I'm too behind myself. Maybe they have a much higher income than me because they have a job. I think I can only invest $100 a month for the next year or two, would that be enough? I am worried about missing big bull market with halving and etf approval.

Investing 100 USD per month in Bitcoins as a student is totally fine and you shouldn't be giving yourself a hard time about it. Since you don't have any income yourself and fully rely on your parents to take care of you, it's already a lot to set aside 100 USD for investing. I assume that is the money you could be spending going out with friends during the weekend or go watch a movie, have a nice dinner, etc. So, cutting back on your personal expenses to start building a crypto portfolio is fine and should lead to some decent long term profit. Don't worry so much about missing out on the next bull run, because there will also be the next bear market around the corner which will send prices down again. Crypto markets always tend to move in cycles and you will find another good time to invest in. Focus on your studies and then you can buy much more cryptos once you graduate and have a well-paying job. Another thing could be to find a student job that gives you additional income without impacting your studies. That additional capital you could be using to buy more Bitcoins per month.

Even though he relies on his parents, it's smart to save $100 a month. A good mix between enjoying the present and making money in the future. It's mature to put investments ahead of meals and trips. Diversifying your investments is important, though. Back Bitcoin, but don't forget about other crypto and non-crypto choices as well.

But caution is very important. The crypto market is unstable, so you can make money or lose money. Long-term wins should be more important  than market swings. Your plan should last a long time and stay the same even if markets change.

When invest, think about jobs and schooling. As you said, getting a part-time job could help him make more investments. Never at the cost of your schoolwork. In terms of job and money, education is an investment that pays off.

1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 16, 2023, 04:59:23 PM
If really good logic was used then it wouldn't be that kind of thinking, but they would know that luck won't come second time at almost the same time.
But if it is said to be strange logic then it is true and usually gamblers with thoughts like that will never be satisfied with their winnings, in fact they will lose more or even more than the winnings they have already won.
If luck can come back then I sure there will be no gamblers who will lose more after winning and continue to gamble again, they will definitely get the same win again.
It just that in reality what happens is that the win is win that cannot be repeated and every gambler should be able to take advantage of the win by withdrawing it, even if only part of it, at least there is money that can be secured.

And it is true that calculated correctly using mathematics, the chance of that luck being achieved again will be smaller.

The gambler who had good intentions to win will bet on the most possibility option in the gambling site. The gambler who find the best possibility in the gambling can easy make money from the gambling site, but most of the gamblers won’t satisfied with their win.So they will do the betting for the longer period, the gambling loss may occur as the mathematics law defines of loss after the win.If the gamblers who not satisfied with the small win may forced to face the big loss in the gambling site. After this the gambler should not spread bad about the gambling sites. The reason for the gambling loss is he doesn’t agree with the gambling giving winnings for their gambling game.
A gambler can only choose which game he thinks can provide big chance of winning and this is just like having confidence in one of the game choices in the casino.
After all, no gambler knows when they will be able to get larger multiplier, but there is thought that often occurs where gamblers think they will be able to get the same win or multiplier.
But apart from that, it can be called feeling of dissatisfaction with what you have got, there are also other factors such as the pursuit of making money, but I still can't understand how gamblers have thoughts like that.
I sure they have experienced repeated failures several times because of their own ambition but they don't learn from these failures and still believe in clear beliefs that only bring destruction, isn't this very detrimental?
The actual calculation in mathematical law is that there will always be price that must be paid if you get profit and defeat is the payment. We must understand logically that there is no victory without defeat.
No one can avoid it but we can minimize it by being wise gamblers, we must be able to save or withdraw certain amount of winnings to protect it so that when we lose we don't lose anything bigger than the winnings we get.
You apparently correct but most times, even the games that we don't trust win but the ones we trust get cut sometimes, however I do like to say that luck is the number one thing a gambler should pray for and not to trust an odd because no odd is sure, every odds have a chance of losing.
No body will ever tell you this unless you sit down to think about it, this same situations makes most gamblers to gamble more and also lose more anytime they are trying to chase their losses.
Although I don't blame those gamblers that are trying to chase their losses because most of them have use a loan money to gamble or someone's money, but the truth is that no gambler should ever use a loan money to gamble, instead they should not gamble if they done have the money to catch the fun.
Your point emphasizes gambling's unpredictability and hazards. In our world, luck rules and certainty is an illusion. Despite this, gamblers often believe they can beat the system. It's a psychological trap - "beating the odds" is appealing but unlikely. We must acknowledge this.

A friend, an enthusiastic gambler, thought he had perfected betting. He kept betting after losing, believing his strategy was good. He was riding chance, but reality was cruel. His example shows that gambling, especially with debts, is risky. Leisure activities should be done with money you can lose.

Gambling to recover losses is risky, especially with borrowed money. A spiral of loss and desperation typically results. Gamblers must accept this fact and bet wisely, acknowledging luck and our boundaries.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 16, 2023, 04:27:48 PM
More or less all of us are related to online gambling in particular but I don't know losing gambling and dying but really it's madness. However after losing money in gambling, the temporary nature of the self changes and then any kind of bad behavior comes to mind. But i go to face the situation when i lose more in gambling then i stop playing. I give some money to the family first and gamble with the rest so even if i lose i find it bearable. Usually society blames gambling more in such incidents but you have to understand that no one is forcing you to gamble.
A person can only take his life if he is under immense mental pressure, and that mental pressure makes them mentally paralyzed after one point which means that they lose the ability to think or understand anything, that's when they decide to end it all and they finish their life. They say that a person loses their ability to think or feel anything within 15 minutes of committing suicide, but I would say that they lose this ability right after the point where they start taking too much stress. After that point, they just stay pressurized until the last moments.

Gambling or anything else that involves finances and carries risk isn't for people who can't handle pressure or don't have low self-esteem and self-control, because such people will quickly become stressed out even if they lose a small amount, and that pressure starts building as they keep losing until it reaches a point from where they can't go back or get out.
Mental health is a spectrum, not a binary switch. The path to darkness is frequently slow, with subtle emotional and cognitive changes. Stress is rarely the issue; its how the mind handles it. Consider this tale: Average Jane starts online gambling. Its fun at first, but losses increase her tension. She thinks she can recover, but each loss deepens her financial and emotional hole. Jane's experience shows how gambling's addiction exploits the human inclination to chase losses, creating a destructive cycle.

Relationship with gambling matters. This high-stakes game requires self-control and alertness as safety nets. Lacking these attributes makes people more vulnerable, but dont generalize. Some like gambling without the risks. Balance, knowing limits, and playing with a clear mind are key. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 04:00:23 PM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?
To be honest, the terms and conditions have been an issue for consumers in all fields you can think of. This is also one of the reasons why, at times, when the condition is tight enough and possibly could be bent, the judge always sides with the consumer. This often happens in the US. Come to think of it, most terms and conditions are too cumbersome, and to many people, they need a lawyer to interpret them for them. Stop kidding, this is not because they can't read, but even if they read it over and over again at times, they might not get it. And to make matters worse, companies/casinos do not do the simplified version, at least most of them even though I know a broker that gives the hint on what the terms and conditions are all about.

For these, I am guilty of the question, I do not read terms and conditions, but for obvious reasons, and this is part of the reasons I don't take any bonus from any casinos. I couldn't even waste my time on that as it might take several hours to be able to fully read some terms and conditions, digest and understand. Just to play play game? Despite this though, there are some needed questions that are obvious that I point directly to the support staff of the casino to be sure of their stand about them. They often contain the basics I need to know. With that, I am good to go than wasting my time on too many voluminous terms and conditions.
We've all struggled through legalese created to confuse and trap us. Isnt it annoying everyone? Companies, especially casinos, create these documents like complicated puzzles. Why? Why? Because they can and it helps them, not customers. The meaning of ToS sometimes gets lost in translation from legal language to layman's terms. It's ingenious, keeping users like us in the dark about what we're committing to. A tale for you: After hours of dissecting a casino's ToS, I still didnt comprehend the stakes. It seemed like an attempt to wear me down and make me click "I agree" without really agreeing.

Your questions are directed at support personnel for clarification. Smart move. A system that favors obscurity over transparency makes it a workable workaround. Our critical and resourceful approach to these murky waters requires skepticism and prudence.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 16, 2023, 03:40:17 PM
That's right, there are many other good ways to entertain yourself if you feel sad and feel like you're alone in life. Yes, it hurts to be left behind but it doesn't mean the end of the world for you, you have to get up and move on because there are many other opportunities waiting for you. Don't ruin your life with gambling, there are many other things you can do besides that.
I think loneliness is the reason why people want to gamble, it's too kill our free time. But when you feel sad and feel alone in this life, that means you're not in a good condition, so could do something stupid or may harm yourself. To overcome this, one should try to deal with himself, try to find a good way to fill your energy. For an introvert can try to take me time, while for extrovert can try to meet with other people.
Loneliness is not as bad as you think to the extent of being suicidal, No, at least not in most cases. Those who would think of suicide must have had much more bothering their minds more than mere loneliness, and if anyone is in that category, they should immediately rethink of being alone so that it will not allow depression to make them act irrationally. Back to the context properly, loneliness can cause a whole lot but mostly triggers addiction in people because what they will always think about is what they love doing most. And if gambling is what the person loves to do mostly, that is what it would trigger out. There is no antidote to this unless the person changes the narrative.

If you know that you are lonely too much and too idle for anything positive in your life, you had better find other hobbies or try to hang out more often, there is no other alternative to that.  This applies to introverts, extroverts, and even ambiverts, they all need to avoid the cause of loneliness especially if the addiction or the thought of it is becoming unbearable or dangerous enough that further affects the mental state of the person. If possible, thinking about other hobbies that are more productive is good and will not add negatively to your life but counter the bad thoughts. By doing this, I know the person can effectively counter the bad effects of loneliness over time.
This case rarely occurs if it is only caused by loneliness which causes them to commit suicide, in my opinion only done if someone experiences depression because they are under mental pressure and have various problems which cause someone to commit stupid actions.
And yes, indeed loneliness can cause someone to become addicted if they have no other hobbies or other activities apart from gambling so their thoughts are only focused on gambling.

Lonely people need friends to make them feel more alive and for an introvert it is difficult to mingle with other people or do other hobbies if inside they cannot do that, while extroverts or ambiverts can do other hobbies or hang out with friends to avoid loneliness.
Introverts prefer to be alone and do their own thing, they don't have the confidence to be able to go out and hang out with their friends, this is what causes them to be lonely and if they get to know gambling then that is what will cause them to fall into gambling and it could become addicted.
People underestimate the significance of human connection, especially introverts who, contrary to common assumption, seek connection but struggle to reach out. Suppose Sam is an introvert. Sam discovers online poker in loneliness. The thrilling, pleasant escape becomes more than a game.

Flip the script. Responsible gambling may be fun. Gambling can be a fun, unique way for introverts to mingle, albeit digitally. Its about strategy, excitement, and chance, not simply money. Poker night becomes a virtual hangout for Sam, forging connections in silence.

But we must be careful. The border between pastime and addiction is thin, especially for lonely people. Responsible gaming and situations where Sam can find balance and connection in the virtual and real world are needed.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: December 16, 2023, 03:23:24 PM
What I think is that in gambling platform both rich and poor people have a chance to win here luck is needed as well as the rich have money. The rich can easily place large bets but the poor cannot succeed in life the poor have to experience the ups and downs. They are afraid to pour more money into the gambling platform. Compared to the rich they are much safer and do not lack money. The rich get a lot of money once they win a bet and understand the betting strategies.

The rich also experience the ups and downs when it comes to gambling. They too do experience defeats and losses on their bets but most times, they wouldn’t be affected by the loss.
They’re rightly concerned about putting money from the meagre amount earned into gambling when they’re more likely to lose that money. Better to utilize it on something better.
The rich don’t have that financial restriction as they’ve got enough money to bet consistently or to stake a bet with high amount periodically.
Not all rich gamblers will have the same opportunities. Many poor gamblers have also become rich through gambling. But rich gamblers have some positive environment in gambling such as a rich gambler has the ability to place high bets but poor gamblers do not have. There are many gamblers who are unable to take proper risk in betting due to lack of money. Even if a rich gambler loses a bet repeatedly, he is able to bet again later on, so his chances of winning are higher. Moreover, a rich gambler can take advantage of the VIP services, but it is relatively difficult for a poor gambler to take advantage of that. Moreover, rich gamblers can learn information and strategy relatively easily, but a poor gambler does not. But since gambling results are unpredictable, anyone can be successful in gambling. However, the advantage is more for rich gamblers.

It's also the case with rich gamblers who put up a high amount of network they tend not to hesitate to gamble even with a higher amount of bets, because they feel they have a lot of spare money that can still be played in gambling and they will not hesitate to gamble with high amounts, because they think the bigger the amount of bets the more exciting the sensation is and the possibility of winning is also easy to get, but all of that is also inseparable from luck.

In contrast to poor gamblers, who gamble carefully because the main goal is to aim for a profitable win, and gamblers like this tend to worry about the money they bet because they are afraid of running out  of money they have, and gamblers like this are more likely to get addicted to gambling. but as you said, gambling results cannot be predicted exactly, so anyone can be lucky in gambling, if they are lucky then they will win.
The mentality of rich and poor gamblers differs intriguingly. High stakes thrill rich gamblers, who indulge in excess money. Their gambling is for fun, not necessity. This mindset hides a basic mistake: associating bigger stakes with greater pleasure. They overlook the addicting nature of chasing bigger wins, a risky path where luck, not skill, determined results.

Poor gamblers gamble out of desperation, not fun. Fear of losing what they have drives their cautious bets. Ironically, fear may increase addiction. They play for survival, not thrills. While preventing irresponsible spending, their cautious approach intensifies their addiction as they chase elusive wins to enhance their finances.

Both perspectives highlight the misperception that gambling may lead to financial success. Luck and chance drive the story, but the house always wins. This tale of huge sums and smart bets is about wrong priorities and odds. The house always wins in gambling, whether rich or poor.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 16, 2023, 03:01:43 PM

Barcelona will let him go if they receive enough money to rebuild their squad with new strikers who are younger than Lewandowski or even can use those money to improve other positions like midfield or defensive positions.
it's very possible, Lewandowski is not cheap for Barcelona. and selling him to bring in new, younger players who suit Xavi's wishes is certainly a very likely option for Barcelona.
There have even been rumors regarding Barcelona wanting to bring in players to strengthen their midfielders. and maybe with Barcelona's current situation, selling Lewandowski to an Arab club at a high price is the best option to get good finances before the transfer market opens.
Im sure that Barcelona would be smart to sell Lewandowski. They need the money, and he's not getting any younger. Teams in the SPL are known for being ready to spend a lot of money, which could help Barcelona. Given Lewandowski's age, the SPL might provide a less stressful setting where he can still do well. In this case, Barcelona would be able to spend money on younger players who play in Xavi's way. Everyone wins. Lewandowski gets to play in a new league before he retires, and Barcelona gets to make their team stronger. Right now, Barcelona needs people who can think strategically like this.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 16, 2023, 02:44:45 PM
Even if Bayern Leverkusen doesn't win the bundesliga this season, I commend their team spirit this season like they've been spectacular since the beginning of the season till now so it's not really easy even for most of the bigger teams to achieve what Leverkusen have achieved despite the fact that they've been playing two competitive leagues which is the Europa league and the German bundesliga so for them to record this long winning streak wasn't really easy for any club so they deserve some respect.

I won't say that about a team that have put so much energy to get the business done and later lose the title? No is not really good for them. Leverkusen are still going to make Bayern Munich sweat to get that title this season and if that's not done then all these struggling have been a waste of time and I would like them (Bayern Leverkusen) to get one more shot at the current champions talking about Bayern Munich, even if is a draw, it would be a positive result and I believe the other teams would be easy for them to get the title. I would the title to change hands for ones and I'm beginning to believe Bayern Leverkusen more then Dortmund.

Well, let's wait for the results of the match between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich in this weekend match because ya, Bayer Leverkusen will play against Eintracht Frankfurt . Yes, we know that Eintracht Frankfurt managed to beat Bayern Munich with a big score of 5-1 last week so ya, whether Eintracht Frankfurt can also surprise Bayer Leverkusen or not . Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will also play against Stuttgart and ya, last week Stuttgart also managed to provide tough resistance to Bayer Leverkusen which required the match to end in a 1-1 draw.

So yes, I sure this match will be very interesting, because at least it will probably be a worthy comparison for their results later in this match . But ya, for some reason I still really believe that Bayer Leverkusen still has a chance to win this match because ya, about the trend of Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart at this moment,I think Stuttgart is still better. If that really happens, then maybe Bayern Munich will not get maximum results and if that happens, then Bayer Leverkusen will walk away from Bayern Munich.

What a turn out last week but that's not going to show any sign of Bayern Leverkusen losing or playing poorly against the side that won the Champions Bayern Munich, although it was a shocking game seeing the might Bayern Munich losing not 1nil or 2-1 but 5-1, something we know Bayern for doing to other teams and last week they get to have a taste of it too.
But I'm certain that Bayern Leverkusen will not take any chances or even underrate their opponent (Frankfurt), they'll be very careful but getting that 3 point is a must. If they (Bayern Leverkusen) play against Frankfurt I believe they're going to make the pitch uncomfortable for the visitors.
If you think back to the surprise in the Bundesliga last week, its clear that Bayern Munich's loss woke everyone up very quickly. Anything can happen in football. But this is their chance to really shine for Bayern Leverkusen. Their progress has been steady, but they need to seize every chance to stay ahead. Though they did draw not long ago, they have been more steady than Bayern this Bundesliga season.

I think Leverkusen will play with a sense of intensity in their next game against Frankfurt. They know that if Bayern wins their game in hand, they could cut their lead to just one point with one mistake. Its not just about winning; we want to make a point. Leverkusen needs to play their best so they dont make the same mistake Bayern did. Every point is important in this close race.

Since he is 31 years old, I think he can perform at a high level for 3 more years. Casemiro is a player whose style I like and he is one of the few players in the Manchester United squad who does his job well. He has a structure that gathers the midfield. The Saudis spend incredible amounts of money to recruit famous players, but if you ask whether Manchester United will sell him, I think not. Casemiro will be an important dynamo as we go through the recovery process.
Casemiro with his current level of play and fitness is indeed plausible that he is able to continue his contribution at a high level for three more years. He is certainly the most important player for Manchester United, even though we dont see his best performance like he used to perform at Madrid, his impact to the team is so significant. His ability to gather and control the midfield not only showcases his individual skills but also show his importance in the overall team dynamics.

Manchester United being reluctance to sell Casemiro is reasonable with the sentiment that players of his caliber. He is invaluable asset who consistently delivers and fulfills his role effectively. Manchester United as a club, especially during a recovery or rebuilding phase, would likely prioritize retaining such key players who provide stability and leadership. His experience, work ethic, and on-field contributions can serve as a stabilizing force during transitional phases.

We can't be sure about his fitness yet but I can say Casemiro is still at a level in which he can play for more years in top-level teams like Manchester United without problems, however, I think Manchester United should keep Casemiro but even if they don't want to have this palyer any more I think Casemiro can choose to stay in another team in the Euroa which there are obviously many offers for this palyer.
But moving to the Saudi countries is just too soon for a player like Casemiro who can play at this level for his team.

I totally concur with your assessment of Casemiro's skills. In my opinion, he still has a lot to give at the top level, especially at Manchester United. He's clearly been United's biggest loss in the middle of the field, both in terms of defense and helping their front line. He is really missing from the team.

The player's future is uncertain, and moving to the Saudi league now seems like a waste for someone of his skill. He's only 31 years old, so he's still in his prime, and he could seriously help any top European team. These rumors about PSG's desire make sense; they're always looking for top players. He should definitely stay in Europe, where he can continue to compete for big titles, because this is a turning point in his career.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 16, 2023, 02:00:31 PM
Liverpool has won the UEFA European League and the last time was in 2001. This shows that they have a good history with the UEFA European League. But even so, they have to be ready and focused because the teams from the Champions League are certainly strong teams that should not be underestimated. So far I see AC Milan as the most likely to beat Liverpool. But we also see that other teams are also quite strong, such as Leverkusen, West Ham or Brighton.
How does it feel to sits down without any any vision of keep trying everything. I'm yet to see any improving case were Liverpool will stood so low to losing average clubs despite them not been in the League. Jurgen Klopp will mapping solid chances of winning. I think Jurgen Klopp have to be careful against these clubs coming to Europa league from UEFA Champions League football. But on a second thought, Liverpool is elite club and they don't have fears playing tougher clubs this season. Rather we have good winnings that will shocked everything within an estimated time.
I expect Liverpool to do well. Teams dropping from the Champions League to the Europa League are strong, but Liverpool has a deep squad. While their Europa League loss was disappointing, Klopp's focus on the Premier League, especially against Man United, explains it. Liverpool's Premier League leadership shows their strength and competitiveness. Along with Leverkusen, they're Europa League favorites. Liverpool's roster depth and Klopp's plan make them hard to beat. Im confident Liverpool will perform well in the Europa League's last 16 alongside UCL opponents.

The challenging thing for Inzaghi in this season is about their player Cuadrado.
Inter Milan will need to hire a right-back during the winter because their player Cuadrado is injured and he needs to have surgery soon which means he won't be able to play for a long time and this can be challenging for Inter Milan and their coach Inzaghi to find a replacement for Cuadrado.
Cuadrado joined Inter Milan for from from Juventus and now Inter Milan should spend money to hire another right back for the rest of this season.

Sometimes I worry about Inter Milan without Cuadrado. Darmian is a decent backup, but Cuadrado elevates the attack and defense. His visibility may be underestimated, especially in key games. I dont think they'll win against Lazio without Cuadrado. His injury may affect their league performance more than we believe. However, Napoli appears to be doing better. They're more likely to win next time. This makes Inter Milan's performance even more crucial. Juventus' tie demonstrates how tough the league is this season. Inter must improve, and backups wont do it.

Quote from: Balmain
We can say that Tottenham has achieved great stability after the troubles they experienced in the interim. They maintain their place in the top five. If they continue with such a good game plan, they can step into the top four and stay there. Many players in the team are in very good form and doing good work. Kulusevski was the best player in the Nottingham Forest match, that magnificent goal he scored was very good, he faced the goalkeeper and finished very confidently. The absence of Maddison and Richarlison affected the team greatly. If these problems did not exist, we would have seen Totthenem much higher, and as I said, they still have opportunities.

Congratulations to Tottenham Hotspur for the favour they got from Nottingham forest home, despite the red card one of the Tottenham Hotspur player got they still maintain the match till the end to defeated Nottingham forest 0-2 for the favour of Tottenham Hotspur. It was a surprised to some people that Nottingham forest strikers didn't scored a single goal through out the match despite there was many opportunities for them to score goals but they missed used the opportunity that made them to lose their three points from the match. If Tottenham Hotspur will be able to win their next match, then we will know that they have come back to their excellent performance they started from the beginning of the competition before their players started experienced injuries that brought their points down.
Tottenham performed brilliantly in the game, which saw them secure a win with Forest. Currently, fifth in the Premier League points table, Tottenham has the potential to overtake Manchester City if they can succeed in their next matches. Also, Forest didn't attack that well which is why Forest couldn't equalize the match, however Tottenham are a strong team, and they attacked well which led to victory. Forest had many chances to score going into the 70th minute when a Tottenham player received a red card, but they still couldn't score. With ten men on the field, Tottenham played brilliantly against Forest and eventually secured their place in the points table with a win.
Honestly, Im quite pleased with how Tottenham played against Forest. They're a serious threat in the Premier League; they're currently in fifth place and are aiming to take over Manchester City's spot. Even though they were missing a player, they didnt just hold on; they won. Although Forest had some good moments, Tottenham's defense was just too strong, especially Romero and Udogie. This toughness could help them get ahead of Man City. Though, lets not get too excited. Man City is a tough opponent. Similar tough situations have happened to them before, and they always come out on top. Im cheering for Tottenham and also watching Man City play Crystal Palace. The competition for first place will be very close!

I don't know what happened in the first half because I didn't watch the match, but it looks like Monaco will have a very difficult time beating Lyon in this match because defense is Lyon's main focus so as not to lose ridiculously. The two teams played out a draw in the first half, neither scored a goal although Monaco performed well with several chances.

The second half had started, so I thought I had a little time to watch it before moving on to the Nottingham vs Tottenham match again. Monaco can most likely win at home, but if Lyon can defend well then a 0-0 finish is also possible.

I also didn't watch the match but when I've enough time, I'll ensure to play out good time to watch the highlights. We should never underestimate average clubs in Ligue One and tonight is one of the improving game for Lyon. They're holding down one of the top clubs in France and this might just be a winning match for the club sitting bottom of the league. AS Monaco having draw points with Olympique Lyonnias in the 68th minutes of the match. I don't understand what's going on because I see no solid reason why Monaco can withstand the high pressure.

I think the unbelievable is actually happening now because if the goal of Jefferson Ruan Jeffinho helps Lyon to seal this victory from away against an informed AS Monaco then we shouldn't underestimate any average team not just in Ligue1 but in all the league. I think this result tonight will encourage and motivate Lyon to perform better because it's going to serve as a moral booster for the team since the win is coming from away and a win against a top club this season is a good achievement foe them i hope they get this victory since it's going to see them having hope of getting out of the relegation zone, let's wait till the final results so we can celebrate the Lyon team 😂.

I can't understand what changes in Lyon to make this team stay motivated for the game they have in the French league but so far and in the last two games we saw from Lyon, they won one important match against Monaco while Monaco is in a good situation and everyone could easily predict to see Lyon using the game against Monaco, and they won another match against, Toulouse.
Now Lyon is in a better situation and they are in the 16 places of the table with 13 points, Lyon is trying to get themselves out of the danger zone.
Lyon's remarkable performance surprises me as much as you do. Its amazing how they've won, especially against Monaco, who've played well this season. Monaco's home advantage and Lyon's inconsistency raised my suspicions. But, winning in the last minutes? Quite something. It shows perseverance and possibly new motivation. I think these victory could encourage Lyon. Its admirable that they're steadily escaping danger. Victories enhance morale as well as points. I wonder whether they can keep their momentum and surprise us.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 16, 2023, 12:47:46 PM
Sometimes there is a club in a league that is usually at the bottom of the standings every season, but in certain seasons as time goes by they suddenly reach a winning trend and they always get it in every game, and it is difficult to stop their enthusiasm. Even last week they managed to beat Barcelona, this was because of their enthusiasm so they consistently won. then the feeling of optimism about becoming champions can be closer to reality, a big dream that a small club has always dreamed of, being able to become league champions, beating the big clubs who have always been favorites to become champions. Girona this season can be said to have that spirit.

In this case, will Girona follow in the footsteps of Leicester who became EPL champions in 2016? Can Girona become a strong challenger to clubs like Barca, Madrid and ATM in the following seasons to become league champions? Or will you just be lucky for one season and become a mediocre and bottom club in the following seasons? We will see later
no one is yet sure whether Girona will be like Leicester City or even better than it.  Because the most important thing right now is that Girona can still show their best performance, even though they can't win a trophy this  season it won't be too disappointing because what I see from Girona is that they are focused in the process.  Girona track record without targeting a trophy this season alone has shown significant improvement.  Ahead of the first La Liga season they  finished in 10th position in the standings meaning that since Girona returned to La Liga they have  prepared very carefully. It's no longer about luck or mediocre clubs.  Like it or not this seems to carry a threat that Madrid and  Barcelona are not aware of. One more thing to watch out  for is that Girona could get big investment to welcome the next transfer window.
Girona has impressed me this season. Its rare for newly promoted clubs to display such planning and strategy. Tenth position is impressive and shows they're a squad to watch. I like that they're about developing a strong foundation, not just winning medals. Their strategy is simple and consistent.

Madrid and Barcelona should watch Girona, though. Although they may not challenge for the crown this season, their steady rise and possible investment suggest they're in it for the long haul. This slow but consistent progress is how underdogs often turn the tables in coming seasons. If Madrid and Barcelona dont take Girona seriously, they could be in trouble.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 16, 2023, 12:30:27 PM

The following is the income of each team in the 23/24 Champions League group stage and as can be seen, Real Madrid and Manchester City dominate the income figures. The two championship candidate teams received 42 million euros for successfully advancing to the round of 16 with 6 complete wins. On the other hand, Barcelona also received enough fresh funds of 32 million euros which they will definitely use to spend on players in January.

But not only Barcelona but other teams also seem to be doing the same thing and it depends on the management to arrange it. Apart from that, teams that do not qualify will still receive an injection of funds, even though the amount is not that large. That's why the Champions League is always a target for big teams in Europe to compete every season because the income from the group stages alone is quite tempting.
Its easy to see how this difference in money in the Champions League negatively impacts smaller teams. For example, Sevilla is having a hard time with money and is missing out on important money that would have come from improving. This situation makes the growing gap between the rich clubs and the rest stand out. Businesses like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and others dont just depend on the Champions League to make money; they have other ways to make money too. Financially, they're in a class by themselves. Unfortunately, this is the truth for smaller clubs that count on these kinds of profits a lot. These differences could keep growing, which would make it harder for clubs with less money to compete at the same level, in my view.
1576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Relationship between charts and follow up 📊 on: December 16, 2023, 12:10:35 PM
Charts power our crypto trading techniques, but they're just the start. We must realize that charts arent independent. They reflect investor opinions, decisions, and worldwide events. Our success depends on evaluating these charts carefully and acting quickly.

Bitcoin, for instance. Information on investor mood, regulation, and technology is incorporated into its price chart. We see supply, demand, fear, and greed in Bitcoin's chart, not just lines and patterns. We follow up? Being proactive and anticipating how fresh news will affect these patterns is key. Like detectives, we use chart and world clues to plan our next action. The combination of chart analysis and aggressive follow-up offers us an edge in this volatile crypto market.
1577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's role in financial development on: December 16, 2023, 11:52:48 AM
Our family consists of me and one sister. My father had to take a lot of debt to go abroad. For which we are burdened with debt. Now I work along with my studies to run the family. I want to save money and invest in Bitcoin in the future even though I have worked hard because of the idea about Bitcoin. So that I can benefit from here, so that I can help my family financially and put a smile on my parents' faces. Sadly, we don't even have a house of our own at present.

Go and get a job buddy, Bitcoin isn't a poverty elimination program and the idea of investing in Bitcoin stopping poverty has to end. Poverty is a mentality, you can get all the money in the world and you'll still go bankrupt and broke in few days, years times or even month depending on the amount of money you had. What you need first is to get a good paying job and if your sister is eligible to work she can get hers too. When you have steady income a lot of things become easier to do. You can invest in Bitcoin better as you can DCA whenever you receive your salary.

Bitcoin has made investing very accessible but this has its pros and cons so you should be extremely cautious of the decisions you take so you don't end up regretting them. Learn a skills and use that skills to get paid in Bitcoin is another way you can accumulate Bitcoin if you don't want to be buying manually after receiving payment for a service your offer or from your job. Don't depend only on the profits you can get from Bitcoin because tp receive high profits you need to allow your investments to mature for sometimes which is what you won't have available when depending totally on the profits you get from investing in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin doesnt solve poverty, and prosperity isnt just money. Mindset and strategy matter. A job provides a foundation. Your sister, you, and everyone should aim for that. Yet dismissing Bitcoin's potential seems too cautious. Dick, my friend, gets a good job. The savvy guy invests part of his paycheck in Bitcoin. He's not reckless; he's diversifying with Bitcoin. As his investments mature, so does his financial confidence.

Dick's tale is real and achievable for many. Bitcoin isnt everything, but it helps develop wealth. Balance is key: good work, skill growth, and smart investment, including Bitcoin. That modern, holistic financial security strategy recognizes Bitcoin's value in today's economy.
1578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no reward on: December 16, 2023, 11:00:43 AM
Personal finance, like life, requires balancing risk and persistence. Your mindset reflects this equilibrium. Bitcoin changed our understanding of digital currency. Bitcoin has skyrocketed in value for those who invested despite the hazards. It proves your point: successful investments yield greater money. Make a comparison. Imagine Bitcoin in its early days: dangerous, unproven, and promising. They're your ventures. Risking may result in losses, but quitting? That insures failure. Continuous effort and learning from setbacks can yield amazing results, as Bitcoin demonstrated. Your theory, "More money equals more money," applies to Bitcoin. The key is strategic investing and sticking with it through the ups and downs. Bitcoin investors take risks and aim on long-term rewards, like you. This mindset guarantees success. Like Bitcoin, persevere and your efforts may pay off.
1579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 15, 2023, 05:29:10 PM
Don't be deceived, not every gamblers who actually claims that they won really won.
Some falsefully speculates that they won just because they want to pave an ease to those who has been advising them to quit or limits gambling simply because the gambler has been unlucky to win instead he keep betting over and over without a good bankroll management in their gambling carriers.
They basically do this because they feels disturbed and inconveniences of the people's opinions and advices towards the gamblers unprofitable gambling experiences
To respond to your observation, it is imperative to express disapproval for the misleading character of certain gambling stories. First of all, gambling's coping method of denial and falsification is frequently a result of its psychology. Gamblers who are caught in a losing streak could point to wins to support their ongoing participation. It's not only about tricking other people; its also about tricking oneself.

Think about the pressure from society. In the society we live in, people value success highly and dislike failure. This social perception encourages gamblers to fabricate stories about their achievements. It serves as a barrier against criticism, uninvited counsel, and other people's worries.

Dont forget about the enjoyable part. Essentially, gambling is a form of amusement. What pulls them in is the excitement, the rush of a possible victory. Therefore, a victory story (no matter how fictitious) brings back that feeling of joy even in the face of gloomy reality. It serves as a reminder of their initial motivation for gambling: enjoyment and the rush of the unknown
1580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season on: December 15, 2023, 05:09:07 PM
Are you spending more or less on casinos this holiday season?

Why add more? this is the only time of the year that you have additional funds why not enjoy playing more time with more funds if you get lucky you're holiday season will be merrier and prosperous.

Why spend less? This is the time of the year that there's a lot of spending and you have to buy a lot of gifts for your loved ones so I don't want to spend more on gambling I don't want to face this holiday losing money.
December or the end of the year as you might want to call it is just like any other month of the year for me when it comes to gambling, so I see no reason why I would treat my gambling differently. Good, the feelings of this time are very good and unique, is it for the weather or for the joy. But if one is not prudent this season, he could find himself in financial trouble. All I do differently this month is to share gifts, money and others to those in need and among friends and family, and I believe that is the major thing that makes this kind of time of the season to be more interesting, not my gambling lifestyle. On deeper thought, I urge people to be careful this season, and it is partly what we are talking about regarding emotions and the right budget in gambling. We should not let anything move us to alter the budget for any reason, we always have to be true to what we have planned to do, except if the person has planned to play more bets this time even before now, which might amount to more losses mostly under the influence because emotion is getting involved and alcohol and other might increase this season too.

But for the spirit itself this season, let's use it at best. To whom more is given this season, more is expected, which is why I urge people to extend love as far as possible. For me, gambling has always been secondary to me.
Nice take on December gambling, but reality check needed. Its a joyful season, but its also full with temptations - more parties, alcohol, and emotional decisions. You keep to your gambling patterns, but who is immune to the season's allure? We must walk carefully here. Gambling should continue to be enjoyable. But mixing holiday cheer with betting can get confusing. Riding a roller coaster is fun, but one wrong turn might ruin the Christmas budget! Keep gambling enjoyable this December. Follow the plan, play wisely, and remember that the thrill is in the game, not the bet.
