1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 10, 2023, 11:49:45 AM
By January; i expect real madrid to buy and for a quality striker on short term basis and also confirm Mbappe too. Girona faces Barcelona tomorrow; a win for Girona means 2 point lead at the top of the league, if Barcelona wins; then they are back in the title runs.

Whats your predicition?

If they manage to sign Mbappe or another good striker then I'm quite happy. At the moment they are in trouble and bad at striker. Joselu didn't become a good solution, he wasted a lot of opportunities. If Madrid are able to sign Haaland or Mbaape it could be incredible. But until now there is no news of offers for other players. It even seems that they have made a final submission proposal for Mbaape but there has been no official news.
Yes, strikers are their current needs, because the players they currently have are in fact unable to cover their needs in that position. A striker who can not only score goals but can provide space for other players or in other words who can create space.
If Mbappe joins the squad, of course this is good news, because he can be the answer to all Real Madrid's current needs. But apart from Mbappe, they should also target other players, because if they fail to bring Mbappe, they still have other players they can recruit.
Yes, its very clear that Real Madrid needs a dynamic scorer. There's been a clear break in their attack since Benzema left. Really, a team as good as Real Madrid shouldnt depend on Jude Bellingham, an attacking midfielder, to score goals. There is no doubt that getting Mbappe would change everything for them. Hes a force on the field and can make space and chances for others like no one else. Its smart for Real to have a back-up plan, though. It's not smart to put all your hopes on one star player like Mbappe in football because its hard to predict. Their next move should be to look for other possible players who can fill that spot and give them options up front. Being ready for anything is all about keeping your choices open.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: December 10, 2023, 11:29:41 AM

However, they must be able to stop gambling for a moment to reduce their tension because after gambling for a while, let alone winning, they will tend to continue gambling. They won't remember to stop gambling first because they still want to chase winnings. They will not always be able to win and because their greed becomes bigger than before, they continue to gamble.

This is what the public already knows, so they don't want people around them to have to experience problems like that. They know that this will only cause more problems because such a person will not be able to provide for his family and will only think about gambling. So it is better for people just to refuse gambling rather than seeing people who have problems because they gamble excessively.

For people who are addicted to gambling, they will not be able to stop themselves from gambling, especially if they win, it is very likely that they will continue gambling until they feel tired and realize that their money is gone, because they find it difficult to control themselves when they are in the casino, of course There is always temptation and most people are easily tempted by this temptation because they are greedy and only chase a win that they are not certain to get back, as you said above.

It is true, basically people already know and are aware of the risks of gambling, but most of them are blind to how much money they can win so they rely on gambling as a way to make money. Not stopping gambling, but limiting yourself in gambling activities. If we are able to limit and regulate when and how much to bet, I think people will not experience big problems in gambling.

It is none other than because they have their own mindset and beliefs in themselves, big wins at the beginning of the engagement are usually the main factor why they can have such mindsets and beliefs, they assume that gambling is really a real place to earn, even though it is nothing more than their hallucinations that come out of too high expectations, and also on the other hand some self-control will be useless because their awareness is much lower than the mindset and false beliefs that are in their minds, this is more on lust that is difficult to negotiate.

Not only blind, but there are also some factors that encourage people to remain enthusiastic in pursuing winnings from gambling and one of the more likely in my opinion from the factor of insufficient circumstances such as in terms of economic weakness in their lives, so when they see an opportunity to get money from gambling then they will assume that this is a solution to improve their financial situation, without them knowing that the opposite is happening. Expectations have defeated the facts of reality, they always think "it looks like in the next session I will win", but it never happens and instead the number of losses increases over time, I think it is also difficult to apply some restrictions if the mindset is not correct.
Actually, the illusion of power is an issue when you're gambling. Our cognitive errors make us easily fooled. Here's an example of the gambler's fallacy: thinking that a win is "due" after a string of losses. Patterns dont work in gambling because its so random, but the mind continues to believe them. That feeling of hope and panic is common when money problems make it hard to make decisions. That feeling of "This time I'll win" is just a dream.

Consider this issue: Can we really manage chance? Actually, we can choose how to respond. Establishing boundaries, understanding odds, and knowing when to stop gambling are all parts of healthy gambling. Achieving this balance means combining pleasure with awareness. Being able to control our actions and hopes is more difficult than just winning at gambling.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I learned something new from Bitcoin today on: December 10, 2023, 11:05:45 AM
Patience is needed everywhere, either in gambling, real-life business, or crypto. You can't exclude patience anywhere. However, I don't support gambling; it's highly risky for anyone. Crypto trading is the best for those of us who are well familiar with Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if gambling is good or bad, but a major percentage of people have been losing to gambling. In trading, there is a good chance to make money if you can learn. Though any investment in crypto is risky too, you aren't going to lose everything. Like the Bitcoin price drop, you will still hold whatever you have. A value drop doesn't mean you lost your holding. The value would recover anytime for Bitcoin. So I would advise learning more about trading instead of focusing on gambling.
I totally agree with you, patience is the most important thing that people should hesitate to include either in businesses, gambling or even in crypto-currencies. If someone doesn't have patience in their life, that means the person will lose enough on anything that includes money making. Although gambling is not a good thing people should be addicted to, there are other people who have the chances of luck at gambling as it is said that gambling is for fun. If a gambler gambles for fun every day, that person will end up being an addicted gambler and, at that period, the gambler will no longer play gambling for fun but sees gambling as a side hustle.

Bitcoin trading is just another form of gambling, but people who are addicted to Bitcoin trading will not agree to it. The same way people lose from gambling, that's the same way people also lose from Bitcoin trading, but if anyone has enough patience, that person can invest in Bitcoin for a long period and make his profits.
Whether one is trading Bitcoin or gambling, patience is a necessary virtue in finance.  Although its interesting, comparing Bitcoin trading to gambling isn't totally realistic. Why? Because unlike gambling, which is entirely dependent on chance, Bitcoin is rooted in market dynamics despite its volatility. Still, you make a valid point: addiction to either can result in financial devastation.

The key is this: knowledge is just as important as patience. Trading Bitcoins requires knowledge of market movements and associated dangers. Waiting is not enough; making wise decisions is also important. Indeed, chance plays a part, but doesnt that apply to the majority of life's endeavors? What is the main distinction? Unlike gambling, where the only thing that matters is the roll of the dice, Bitcoin allows us to use analysis and strategy. Therefore, lets not mistake investing with thrill-seeking. In Bitcoin trading, the winning trinity is patience, expertise, and strategy.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no reward on: December 10, 2023, 10:39:41 AM
Although it's common knowledge that "no risk, no reward," doesn't it also mean that "great risk, great responsibility"? Knowing what you're getting into when investing in Bitcoin is just as important as having the guts to take losses. The world of cryptocurrency is a volatility where things can change drastically very quickly. Why does this matter? thus your financial security is in jeopardy. Yes, it's important to read and learn about Bitcoin, but it goes beyond the specifics. It's critical to comprehend the workings of the market, the forces at play in the global economy that affect cryptocurrency prices, and - above all - your personal risk tolerance. Saying, "It's always about risk," touches on a basic reality, but keep in mind that it's also about making well-informed decisions.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin feels like a Western-type Democracy... on: December 10, 2023, 10:17:48 AM
Yes, Bitcoin and democracy both live on freedom and little or no censorship, but lets not make things too easy. The large number of "monkey jpegs," which is a clever code word for small trades, is a problem, but it can be solved. Thats the same as saying democracy fails because of a few bad decisions about policy.

Bitcoin's resilience is its core strength. Even though network overflow or BlackRock-style plots are possible, the fact that it is decentralized makes it hard to manipulate. Its not perfect, no; its a work in progress. As for the $1000 transaction fee scenario, its speculative, but it underscores the importance of solutions like Lightning Network, despite its flaws.

And CBDCs backed by Bitcoin? Interesting, but lets face it: CBDCs are the exact opposite of what Bitcoin stands for: they are not controlled by a central authority. They're, frankly, trash. Bitcoin is the best at what it does because it is on the way to becoming the best answer.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Qatar's sovereign wealth fund eyes $500B bitcoin investment on: December 10, 2023, 09:53:40 AM
Qatar's SWF investing in Bitcoin? Interesting. This investment paradigm shift raises important questions. Start with Bitcoin volatility. Yes, huge profits are possible, but so are severe downturns. Can QSWF handle this rollercoaster? Their huge investment raises a issue: will it stabilize Bitcoin's value or worsen market fluctuations?

The trend of institutional investors eyeing digital assets indicates a wider acceptance of cryptocurrencies. Acceptance comes with unknowns. How will regulators react? How will this affect traditional finance? We celebrate the potential of digital assets becoming popular, but we also face promise and uncertainty.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and patience on: December 10, 2023, 09:37:09 AM
In the world of Bitcoin, patience and a well-researched strategy are key.
It's important to manage risks wisely and maintain emotional discipline, especially in response to global events impacting market dynamics. There isn't a one size fits all solution on to how to go about it,
Patience is the key to success. It is not only an eternal message but it is applicable everywhere in our life. Patience should be the only key when investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is an investment where greed or impatience will surely lead to big losses instead of profits. Investing in Bitcoins should never be done without research and investing should not be done with impatience. I advise an investor to exercise patience and then invest.
Bitcoin investing requires patience. We see over and again how market panic drives impulsive actions that end badly. Bitcoin's volatility makes patience a survival strategy. What does "patience" mean here? Its informed waiting, not just waiting. This requires constant learning, market awareness, and acceptance of cryptocurrency's unpredictability. Isnt it interesting that experienced investors teach patience? Their success stories are marked by measured, well-researched judgments over time. When we say "patience", we mean a holistic approach to Bitcoin investment that values knowledge, understands dangers, and opposes rapid gratification. Isnt that smarter for digital finance?
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: December 09, 2023, 04:54:18 PM
casino was not created to make you rich overnight. But if you insist in playing more, you might end up emptying your account just to try recovering from the loss, and this greed is one of the major problem most gamblers have.
that's what gambling management made, to reduce risk and manage you mentally to play more and more over time. Let's just think the gambling as a game that will make you happy, don't burdening your life to increase your wealth from gambling, because it seems mission impossible especially if the player is still newly registered and directing it from referral. I think it's a global problem, and comprehensive if a new person in the gambling world just thinks of multiplying his capital in 1 night.

They will make you win at the first time and I think that's what makes it more inviting. Just recently, I won like 10x of my capital even though I am betting just small amounts. I was also shocked at how it happened because I was expecting to lose all the time. But, when you keep on betting, gambling sites will definitely take it back without us realizing it because our aim is to just get our money back.
-cut-
I've considered this too, as sometimes i feel like winning from the start, but i think this is just confirmation bias, as this theory breaks down to the fact, it would be easy confirm just by making enough statistics about it, and all you would need would be a control group and a spread sheed.

And if this would be true, why wouldn't people just start with playing 100x bets of what they are used to and make a bank and move on to another casino? Because there are enough casinos out there to make you rich even if you only make gains at the start.

And if we we suspect that it wouldn't work because it works only small bets, we have to remember that small is relative amount, that 100x of our small bet is a small bet for a whale and mechanisms should work for them too, otherwise they won't make sense. Casinos want to collect wealthy people to gamble, so that would be their target group if they wanted to use this tactic, giving wins at the start to small people would not worth it. Given that casinos are constantly audited and if they got caught, there would be some serious consequences.

Its true that confirmation bias makes us see patterns when none exist. We say, "Hey, Im winning; this must be the system working for me!" Actually, its random chance in expensive clothes.

If casinos were rigging games to hook new players with early victories, wouldnt savvy gamblers take advantage? They jumped from casino to casino, getting rich. But they dont because: The house always win

Remember the large fish, the "whales". If true, this strategy would work for them, right? These high rollers dont get red carpet treatment at casinos. They follow the same uncertain laws as everyone else. Thus, while initial wins are appealing, they're more wishful thinking than reality.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 09, 2023, 04:35:17 PM
No but I doubt that they have PSG or Nice on their minds when they have a stable rank in the middle of the table. I believe that they focus from game to game and then see what is possible for them when the end of the season is approaching. They will most likely not make any rushed predictions or contemplate season goals and communicate them when they know that it is not realistic as of now to reach out for one of the biggest goals. But if they want to make it into the qualification for some European competition, I think that they have all chances to do that. Nice could have a weak time and some other teams as well and then they need to be ready.
Every clubs tends to becomes ready to face their challenges this season. The European competition are for serious clubs that have the potentials to win matches without having to fight to win a spot. Seasons goals of these clubs have grown to become one of the ultimate targets, winning it without stressing out their plans or tactics. Paris Saint-Germain dominates the league table and they have a threat, a club that's ready to levelled points with them, Nice have become a close contender for the the Ligue One title this season.

No, I would bet a house on Nice having no chance against PSG over the course of 38 matches. Nice was efficient when it comes to results, but that is not sustainable when you score only one goal on average per game. It is all nice when it is enough to win most of the games in the early season, but for how long will it work that an average of one goal brings you the number of wins and draws, the number of total points to beat PSG after 38 games and win the title? Wink

Nice can definitely have no chance against a team like PSG to win the French League, however currently PSG and Nice are racing closely for the title and Nice is the only competitor they can have because currently Nicve has 29 points and PSG has 33 points which means they are not close enough to make troubles for PSG and in the other hand PSG with Enrique is getting in the good form. But still, there is the chance for the French League to change everything and PSG faces some problems to lose their current condition.

I am not against any scenario where we can see one team from Ligue 1 compete with PSG when there are like 6-7 games left of the season, but how likely is it really. It usually won't happen and if it does, it means that PSG must have failed so hard that the whole league wasn't fun at all. Either PSG is as good as they can and they win the league easily and make some trouble in the Champions League as well, or everything sucks. It's two bad options.
In a one-horse race at the end, their dominance might make the league look uneventful. Not much suspense in a movie with a known finale. Their Champions League performance contrasts intriguingly. PSG usually dominates Ligue 1 but struggles in Europe.

PSG's weaknesses grow in the Champions League, where competition and stakes are stronger. Despite having Messi and Neymar, they havent broken the code. Would it be team strength or something more intangible like experience or team dynamics? Success in Ligue 1 doesnt guarantee European glory, maybe for a variety of reasons. Fans and observers continue to puzzle over PSG's league performance.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 09, 2023, 04:19:38 PM
Al Tai 1 vs 2 Al Hilal

Al Hilal's winning trend continues after winning 1-2 over Al Tai and has 10 points from Al Nassr who still have a game in the next few hours against Al Riyadh. Large difference in points makes the Saudi Pro League competition less interesting behind Al Nassr can't stopping the winning trend from Al Hilal and success lead top standings with 10 points left. Has opportunity for Al Nassr winning on next match but keep 7 points left between first and second place not really excited with Saudi Pro League tittle race for this season.
Al Ahli and Al Ittihad seems out from domestic league tittle race after their points remaining more than 14 points from Al Ahli, have many matches left and if can't stopping the winning trend from Al Ahli will make them easily for winning domestic league tittle before playing until 34 domestic league matches.
Al Hilal leads the SPL. Their excellent record continued with a close win over Al Tai. Following a stalemate with Damac, they've maintained tactical and technical supremacy. The lack of top-level competition disappoints me. Al Nassr's recent landslide win shows their strength, but Al Hilal's comfortable lead makes the title contest predictable. Concerns surround Al Ahli, Al Ittihad, and Al Shabab. Their distance from the top teams is growing, making the league less exciting. This season should be more exciting, but Al Hilal and Al Nassr are leading. Other clubs must improve to make competition more exciting and unpredictable.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: December 09, 2023, 04:03:51 PM

Still that self-control manage to dominate and addiction still avoidable if you will not exceed from your set target, even you are aware that losing is a common outcome with that kind of limitation and not trying to add more money in you bankroll will help. It's not easy as there are many factors that can drive you to keep playing and chances of being excited and wanting more can lead you to add money when things did not go according to how you expect.

But if you have such limit and you are good at managing that self-control, you are really helping yourself to avoid that big danger behind this activity..

The self-control was the important one to prevent from the loss in the gambling. After the big win in the gambling, the gambler will do the gambling for the longer period without any limitation. They will do tje gambling with the energy get from the big win in the gambling.Every win in the gambling will give the positive opinion about the gambling to the gambler. So whenever the gambler get money from the other sources, he will ready to use for the gambling site.If the gambler placed big money all the time in the gambling site, this help the gambler to get settle in their life using the gambling site.
This is very common and yet we need to avoid making that kind of mistake, as it is easy to think of the money we have won as free money that we can use to gamble even more or to raise the size of our bets, however if you really think about it this is not the case, as it is likely that amount of money does not really cover all the losses you have endured on your time as a gambler, so being irresponsible with that money is simply a bad idea as this could lead you to become irresponsible with the rest of your money as well.

Yeah, most of the time, those gamblers who think that the money that they have won serves as your free money to continue betting. If you have that mentality, things might go wrong, as instead of making money fail, it can turn to losing more when you fail to save your earnings too, as most of those people who continue to play, they're going to lose it back and worse, they will add more money and, with emotion upon they will continue failing and continue to frustrate themselves and keep bringing more to the house.
We typically consider victories "free money". Its not free. At most, it refunds past losses. Remember that gambling is a cycle of wins and losses. Considering winnings free cash? A slippery slope. It distorts our value perception. Now we're wagering more, risking our earnings and possibly our cash. Mindset issues arise from this habit. We must be responsible with all our resources, not just the winnings. The key? Self-control and awareness. We must break the cycle, think large, and control our urges. Thats the true game - not at the tables.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: December 09, 2023, 03:46:28 PM
I’m a new member here, and I want to gamble on online casinos. I found some good trusted casinos. And I want to begin with a game with a low budget. First, I need your suggestions about the best games, slots. Live casino for a beginner.
Do you think Me starting gambling would effect me in my real life or make me addicted to gambling. What’s you suggestion and advices.

I wonder why do you consider to start gambling? Do you expect to win big or become a pro in poker for example and make it your side hustle?

Of course you can get addicted. Unless you only gamble occasionally and don't have big expectations. For example, I'm only gambling for fun, I have no goals associated with gambling and I mostly do sports betting.
There is the case of just wanting to have fun with it. But these days if we really want to say the truth, the reason why most person go into gambling is because they actually want to rustle up some few bucks which at the long run of everything can be a negative taught that will work against you.

I think most of the gambling just for fun is nothing more than a statement for a defense for the gamblers themselves, they say that because they don't want people to know about their true intentions, and what makes more sense is like you said the real fact is that most people come to seek some benefits through winning that they think they can get easily.

That's nothing more than just their excuse, and if you want to know about what exactly the purpose of their arrival at gambling is, you can see from the negative or positive impact they experience, if they always lose even with large amounts then from that I think we can already conclude that their real intention is to find victory, because obviously in gambling the more often you gamble, the more often you will also lose, because gambling is not a place to earn but nothing more than a place of entertainment to fill your spare time.
Your concerns regarding gambling's "just for fun" excuse are genuine. Remember that some bet for fun, some for more. Remember that gambling's attraction is usually its profit potential, not its danger. Such thoughts are risky when it promotes "easy wins", overshadowing frequent losses. Deception that traps many.

Losses or gains in gambling indicate intentions. Continuous losses? It may show a relentless pursuit of victory that often fails. Its not just about results. The reasoning behind this behavior is crucial. Understanding gambling psychology and viewing it as entertainment rather than a source of income is the main challenge. There, we balance work and play.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 09, 2023, 03:29:13 PM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling.
Of course there is always a behavioral effects at everyone gamblers if it is not proven in a displacement then it is one of the facial expressions.
There is always joy in the heart that sometimes not easy enough to hold within and must just have to express it out even til across your endings as long you still holdings your winning. There is said to be tendencies of cheerful giveaway out of excessive excitement but sometimes it depends how much won at when considering if there had been previous lost or not.
But If it was a lost, then everyone becomes a bridge to your progress and then, there is really no called of tolerating and joking around because you are feeling depressed and losts in your gambling. You just have to get pissed on everyone who fails to understand your state of being and wouldn't care if anyone knows about your emotions.
However, there is always that transagression of anger at when lost and that sharing of excitements at when won.
Dependently on the gamblers ability to control its emotions.
We often forget the delicate line between excitement and sadness when we play gambling. Winning makes us happy; its natural. Gamblers often lash out in frustration when losses pile up. Isnt it ironic how rapidly gambling feelings change? You can be on top of the world and in despair in an instant.

This emotional rollercoaster emphasizes gambling self-control. Not how much you win or lose, but how you handle it. Responsible gambling is a mindset, not a buzzword. Gambling is amusement, not life. The ultimate win in gambling is staying calm and not letting wins or losses affect you. How you play your cards is just as important as the cards you're dealt.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are slots hard to understand on purpose? on: December 09, 2023, 03:11:40 PM
This is crucial to gambling, especially slots. Slots can be trickier than dice. It may be intentional. Slots may intentionally have unclear odds and misleading phrases like RTP and volatility. A lack of clarity might make it hard for players to make judgments, resulting to additional expenditure. It may help casinos but presents ethical concerns.

Ask yourself: Shouldnt all casino games be transparent? After all, players ought to know what they're getting into. Understanding slots can be difficult, but it may also encourage gambling. Adding confusion to a simple game is a real deal. The players must stay informed and the casinos must promote transparency.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: December 09, 2023, 02:51:57 PM
It is quite possible that among all of us there are those who are excellent at mental arithmetic, and there are many films about this, where people with such abilities are well prepared and go to win at the casino. Sometimes they even form groups to make it easier to earn money this way.
But we should not exclude the fact that the casino security service employs people with an excellent analytical mind. And their main duty is to ban players who can make losses for the casino with their minds.
Movies are fictional, and most of the things shown in them are imaginative thinking and creation and not what can happen in the real world. However, I do agree that there can be some games in gambling where a sharp-minded person might have an advantage over someone normal, but that doesn't mean that a person who has a lot of mathematical skills will be able to make calculations and beat the house every single time, that's at least not possible in an online gambling platform because of the results being cryptographically and randomly generated using seeds and RNGs.

So, I don't believe that a person can win a lot of money in gambling if they are good at mathematics or calculations or just have sharp and good memories, gambling, especially gambling games, is based on luck and one can only be successful in them if they are extremely lucky.
I agree that movies often misrepresent gambling. Its a myth that smart people and mathematicians can beat online gambling systems. Why? Because internet platforms use RNGs, results are cryptographically random and unreliable. An fascinating idea: what about gambling's human element?

Skill and memory may not ensure victory against the house, but they can help you decide when to bet or fold. Gambling is mostly luck-based, though. Isnt it a problem to focus on competence in a chance-ruled domain? While skill is important, luck and randomness rule gambling. We must remember this to avoid the illusion of control.

Newcastle's loss may seem like a mistake, but the overall picture matters. Football losers can't just blame bad luck. Everton showed their potential against Newcastle in the second half. Newcastle's defense was sloppy, right? Everton won due of a series of blunders. Their defense must improve to stay in first position in the league. Newcastle is a terrific team, but their inconsistency annoys me. Seventh, but their game needs more stability. Tottenham, who started well, is next. Not good for them either. Newcastle is great, but Tottenham may win this game. Newcastle must improve, but we'll see

Newcastle's game was too comfortable in controlling the ball and attacking. there were gaps in their defense and some mistakes because they panicked. 3 goals against Newcastle are payment for inconsistency and lack of discipline.
Newcastle are a strong team, they held PSG to a draw and also beat United. Eddi Howe is a smart coach. but this time they were beaten by Everton.
Newcastle didnt play well against Everton. Recently, they've demonstrated strength by drawing PSG, which is impressive. However, their defense was rattled against Everton, and those holes cost them. Three goals conceded are a brutal reminder that this level requires consistency.

I've considered their method. Trippier's blunders were critical, but who doesnt make mistakes? The real issue may be complacency or pressure. They must improve before a tough match against Tottenham. Tottenham needs points and will fight for victory. Eddie Howe's team will have to work hard to recover.

After pressuring and dominating the second half, Getafe was able to score against Valencia in 4 minutes to the end of the match. It was a fantastic victory for them as they performed well in the presence of their fans at home.
Getafe has returned to their winning ways as they won by 1-0 against Valencia. The win has pushed them through the 8th position of the LaLiga table with 22 points. Congrats to them
I love Getafe. The victory and how they won in the last minutes create excitement. Consider how Getafe dominated the second half, their performance was excellent. They demonstrate resilience and commitment, which are vital in football. Seeing them rise to 8th in LaLiga is exciting for fans.

José Bordalás Jiménez, their coach, deserves credit. He's leading the team, as shown by their performance against Valencia. They were lucky with Borja Mayoral's late goal, but they worked hard to keep the game close before that. I think they'll move up the standings if they sustain this momentum.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 02:04:59 PM
Every gamblers knows their limit and I don't want to call a number for anyone, the thing is many gamblers don't listen to the responsibility of becoming a gambler, they are too focused on how much they can win from a game with a certain amount, that's why they feel very bad when they lose money.

Been a responsible gambler is not about how many times you can win some money, its about continues gambling that have no negative impact on your life, business and your daily activities, and the only way to make this be this way is by avoiding using gambling as your main focus in life, engage in gambling if you have money to lose.

Gambling is a game where you decide on what a possible outcome might be, it's like trying to predict the future which makes you not in control of anything, so there for you need to risk only what you can afford to lose.
Many gamblers know their boundaries, but do they? Gambling is about the illusion of control, not merely boundaries. Gamblers hope to control and outwit the game. Is this a misconception?

If gambling is about anticipating the future, arent we all merely playing chance in life? Gambling, unlike life, is a choice to play probabilities. Your emphasis on responsible gambling is vital. How many gamblers can separate emotion from money?

Your emphasis on gambling without harming one's life is utopian. Really, how feasible is this? Gambling is addictive by nature. Its about being responsible and recognizing the difference between a harmless hobby and a trap. Are we all capable?

It has been a really comfortable run for Leverkusen in the group stage. Because I think they had the easiest group among the biggest title contenders. They destroyed every single one of their opponents in the group and guaranteed qualifying for next stage as leader. They won't need to play an extra stage as well which is a good advantage.

Because we never know what would happen if they had a draw against a team coming down from the Champions League. But looking at the possible teams to come from there I don't see any team that can beat Leverkusen out of the Europa League.  Smiley
I support Leverkusen. They've dominated their group, and not just because they have it easy. Though their group wasnt the toughest, they performed well. In five matches, they've scored 14 goals and conceded two, a remarkable performance! This demonstrates their strategy and execution strength this season.

Their success goes beyond group stage ease. Its about their Bundesliga form too. The pressure of leading the league and Europe is difficult, but they're doing it with unusual flair. Im excited to see their Round of 16 performance. If they maintain this momentum, they're favorites for the Europa League and could redefine European football domination this season.
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 09, 2023, 01:27:49 PM
Even investing $100 monthly in Bitcoin is respectable, especially as a student. Investing is more important than how much you invest. You're ahead of many by starting early! Larger buyers may have more disposable income, but that doesnt devalue your efforts. Thanks to compound interest, long-term investment can rise significantly.

Yet investing isnt simply about catching bull markets or avoiding missing out. Long-term strategy and market dynamics matter. Bitcoin is valued due to its restricted supply, and historical tendencies imply growth post-halving. So $100 may seem modest, but persistent investment matters. You're sowing financial security. And that is  the goal.
