That's actually one epic debate, but unfortunately I've gotten tired of arguing with creationists who don't listen to logic lately.

Isn't your topic title actually contradicting you when you've already switched your position your first post about whether you'll debate anything and everything? You either have total free speech or not at all you can't pick and choose what is acceptable to talk about otherwise it isn't free speech.
Yeah. I contradicted myself. Nah, I didn't. *facepalm*

I'm not arguing with the definition and I've been the only one that's replied so far LOL what I question is why is it somehow more excusable if some twat who's overly temperamental and can't control himself can get an easier sentence than somebody who planned it.
I get that we're all human and make mistakes, but there's a question of where you draw the line and I think somebody who thinks they can fly into a rage and just randomly strangle someone to death because they had a bad day and get away with it is that for me.

If you don't have any self-control when you're drunk, you shouldn't be drinking to begin with, most people know how much they can take and whether or not they cope well with being drunk and frankly someone in the army should know better.

The interesting thing is they used these same tactics with Iraq to convince us all and of course they're not going to release any actual evidence to the public to give themselves credibility. I'm not convinced that it's actually North Korea but a group who could have easily tricked the amateurs tracking them.
The U.S. authorities claim North Korea is behind it. They are not "amateurs". No, they might not be amateurs, but they're certainly an interested party. As Lethn pointed out, that wouldn't be the first time a similar tactic was used. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/americas/2014/12/obama-vows-response-n-korea-cyber-attack-20141219192115876573.html - "US president says Washington "will respond proportionally" to cyber attack the FBI says was masterminded by Pyongyang" Holy shit! I was just thinking of Iraq and the nuclear weapons where they tried to all scare us into going to war! I didn't think that there was an actual mirror example! lmao!

Soon the great btc tulip mania is over Bitcoin going under 100$ and never going back up where it was Leaving believers to believe, traders, investors and corporations moving on but what if it goes up again? THEN IT'S A BUBBLE AGAIN AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!! TULIP MANIA OLOLOLOLOLOLOL! FAKE! NOT A REAL CURRENCY! But seriously, then the whole analogy is a load of shit isn't it? And obviously something people pull out of their arses.

It's a question of whether they actually drop the embargo's or not, I'm all for it personally as sanctions don't do a damn thing other than give the citizens on the receiving end a legitimate reason to hate the rest of the outside world.
Like with most of these things, it seems to me that the majority of world politics and wars today are committed by madmen and psychopaths who insist on dragging us all down with them.

My baby pull the plug while I am trying to restore my window to earlier version. Well, window fail completely after that and I have to re-install the whole window. I have bitcoin wallet inside and.....
Only one thing left to do. Sell the baby. No thanks, I still love my baby Pfft that's nothing, at least you didn't fry your computer parts, then again a family member of mine did that with a plug and it ended up melting the motherboard somehow, so you were pretty lucky there you could even keep windows running.

Take one or two of them to an assay office and post the results up, people will be much more likely to believe you, especially if you let them buy with an escrow. I think I should also point out to people that raw gold ore will obviously have other metals or bits of rock mixed into it and won't be as pure as fine gold bars you can buy from dealers which have been properly refined.

One of the problems I see with bitcoin for every day use is that you have to have the funds always available to pay for things. Unlike a credit card where you have the convenience of a credit limit potentially much higher than what you would be comfortable carrying with you. So, credit cards offer purchasing power without the risks associated with actually holding the same amount of cash. Stop right there, the whole point of Bitcoin is that the total currency supply can't be changed and that you can't spend money you don't have and people using credit cards etc. as if they had more money they actually had is the whole reason we have ended up in this financial mess in the first place. There is absolutely no point in doing this to Bitcoin, the reason you can spend 'more' on a credit card is because you don't actually own the money you're spending and companies are counting on you getting yourself into debt. Why for instance do you think there are those horrible overdraft fees in banks? I love the fact that when I enter in an amount that's higher than what I have in my wallet there's a little message that comes up preventing me from doing so which just proves to me how badly the banks want to get me into debt and scam me. While I do agree we need to make Bitcoin easier to use and more accessible, I don't agree with the idea of making it 'convenient' in the way you seem to have put it. Credit and debt is exceptionally dangerous in the wrong hands and Bitcoin has a lot of built in measures that I've seen to prevent stupid people from using it in the ways we're used to. I'm not going to lie down and let another generation corrupt the next generations future with debt yet again, having a finite supply is not a problem, it's a security measure for the entire network to prevent fraudulent spending.

Well often the markets die down at christmas because almost everyone is away from their computers, I wouldn't really run around in a panic until after the first quarter of next year and yes, I'm being that specific.

Cowards, the lot of them, North Korea just won this battle, for all the trash talking the American congress does on camera they certainly can't back it up when facing a country that has an actual standing army.

Yeah because Wikipedia is a good source for anything. EDIT: I think this is very propable, there is obviously other life out in the wast wast universe - on or more civilazations have propably evolved millions of year ahead of us being able to plant a seed. It's a nice theory. I prefer it to 'because god made us' theory

There has not been an audit on the world gold / silver reserves for a very very long time. I think i would prefer to keep something that is a bit more transparent and not controlled by a very few people in the world. Though it is great to see more places accepting Bitcoins With gold and silver there is absolutely nothing stopping you from testing it, you could even take it to a local assay office, or if you're paranoid like I am, do it yourself using nitric acid, copper and water, I think that mixture only works for silver though and you need to make sure you wear a mask of some kind so you don't breath in any fumes from the nitric acid. Plenty of ways to test gold and silver so the metal itself is really transparent ( not literally of course ) it's just organisations like the central banks that aren't.

Still pretty funny though and interesting, it would explain a lot, I think an asteroid crashing us into this planet is a more likely scenario though.
Yeah...I wouldn't count on that. Humans do not in any way fit nicely into the current evolutionary model. Unless we find other sentient life, I think the evolutionary model, while pretty accurate for are planet is incomplete, simply because we know fuck all about the universe and what's actually out there.
