1721  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-28] techcrunch: Why Greece Should Not Switch To Bitcoin on: February 28, 2015, 07:32:07 PM
That's the most dumb analogy I've ever heard and an even more stupid explanation of why Bitcoin is a bad idea, people really still have no fucking clue about how it works and refuse to learn about it.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone informations about opinion-manipulation campaigns against bitcoin? on: February 28, 2015, 05:53:44 PM
You don't even need to look very far, here on Bitcoin talk it's always the same pattern of posting, something negative is posted it's all "Hahahah, Bitcoin is going to die, it's a failure, it's going to go back to $10" and then when Bitcoin goes up "This can't go on, it's a ponzi scheme, it's a scam, it was made by the CIA to control other people" and when I say the same patterns, I mean the exact same posting.

I think most of those people are just sad trolls with nothing better to do, though I wouldn't be surprised if there was some paid trolls or people just trying to spread fud to manipulate the price though I don't think they're very effective but maybe they think they are. I just ignore them either way.

Yeah, I don't bother responding to them either, but I find the timing of their posts and account creation interesting, the writing styles are very similar too and they all use the same talking points.
1723  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think is your afterlife? on: February 28, 2015, 05:52:46 PM
Where's the "We don't know" option? Anything people claim to know about the afterlife is pure speculation.
1724  Other / Off-topic / Re: What colour is this dress? on: February 28, 2015, 04:18:20 PM
In case you couldn't tell guys, the reason it looks 'black and blue' is because of the lighting, the photo was clearly just randomly snapped and ended up looking like that, I can get the same affects just messing around with lighting on my Jewellery and stuff.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone informations about opinion-manipulation campaigns against bitcoin? on: February 28, 2015, 03:14:11 PM
Absolutely, I have actually noticed an easily identifiable pattern on Bitcoin articles for you guys to take a look at if you can be bothered, there are often brand new accounts being made whenever something is posted and these people find articles within hours or them being posted compared to the rest of us. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Bitcoin fanboi or anything and I'm aware there are people like Warren Buffet and Paul Krugman trying to attack us but it seems there's a definite effort to try and make the critics of Bitcoin a bigger movement than it actually is.

It's a bit like how you see a person complaining about harassment then when you actually look at it more carefully it's really just about four or five people at most trying to spam in an effort to mask how many of them there really are.

I'd be interested in seeing if any security experts would like to poke around with this because if they all came from similar I.P addresses that would be very interesting to know, normally I wouldn't bother trying because everyone has a right to their opinion but this seems like a more concentrated attack to harass people away from Bitcoin related discussions.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kim Dotcom : " Let's give Bitcoin a boost " on: February 28, 2015, 03:07:44 PM
Kim DotCom is a disgusting bloated fat pig.  He peddles in illegal stolen wares.  He profits from the illicit use of other people's creations.  Most around here don't like copyright, but it remains legitimate law.  Nerds love 'free' movies, but it is killing the people who produce movies just like the music industry.

Oh noes, another short-sighted brainwashed prick.

Shitty movies are killing the movie industry, not filesharing, it's something that the entertainment business doesn't like to admit so they find a scapegoat.
1727  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Student Banned from Areas of Campus for Resembling Classmate’s Rapist on: February 28, 2015, 02:15:30 PM
Tough luck for the guy.
I hope it is temporary.
Once she recovers from her trauma, I hope he is allowed to move around the campus freely.

This isn't anything to do with trauma, this is bullshit, I'm having a hard time believing this is actually real but then again I've gotten used to this kind of thing, if she even gets traumatised by a likeness of the rapist then she clearly still needs professional help.

I like how the author is a woman though and even she can't seem to believe what's happened lol.
1728  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-27] WSJ: J.P. Morgan Goes Hunting for Disruptors and Bitcoin Experts on: February 28, 2015, 01:03:30 PM
Old fashioned doublespeak.  They don't want bitcoiners.  They've done some keyword analysis to see that the word bitcoin and the word banking show up together often lately but bitcoin gets a higher response rate.  Therefore they must somehow include the word bitcoin in the job description.  https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=doublespeak

That certainly seems more likely.
1729  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you personally make a girl love you? on: February 27, 2015, 11:35:53 PM
I'm not trolling, she is married, she asked me for help, and I'm an altruist so I accepted until she needed, what's wrong with that?

Wow, you're pretty arrogant aren't you? Mind you that's what people like you who pull this kind of shit on people who are in relationships are like anyway.
1730  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't lose your head! Full-body transplants will be possible within two years on: February 27, 2015, 10:41:52 PM
Ugh, it's not like I don't know about the black market organs, but that's the thing, if it goes past organs then we're going to see people getting their body parts randomly hacked off for transplanations, as Ramsay just wrote, that's the kind of thing I'm thinking about too.

Good morning, sir! Sewing back cut-off body parts is common now. Not from the original body as well. I remember a German farmer who had lost his both arms got "new" ones a few years ago. It was in the news.

*head desks* Sad
1731  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you personally make a girl love you? on: February 27, 2015, 10:39:32 PM
Yeah yeah, you screwed her when she was already in a relationship and you know it.
I just wanted to relieve her wild side since in her relationship didn't had what she wanted. I didn't forced her to do anything. I swear.

Hoping you were trolling me all this time.
1732  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-27] WSJ: J.P. Morgan Goes Hunting for Disruptors and Bitcoin Experts on: February 27, 2015, 10:36:45 PM
If they paid me in Bitcoin I might do it, that being said, they would certainly not like what I'd have to say and would fire me within 10 minutes of hiring me despite their claims of wanting somebody critical of financial institutions.
1733  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-27] WSJ: J.P. Morgan Goes Hunting for Disruptors and Bitcoin Experts on: February 27, 2015, 10:29:42 PM
The problem is the very people they're searching for don't want the banking sector to exist! LOL! Cheesy
1734  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you personally make a girl love you? on: February 27, 2015, 10:26:44 PM

1735  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Congress threatens Washington DC over pot law on: February 27, 2015, 10:18:38 PM
I know Americans always like to pin everything down to race but speaking as somebody who comes from the UK, no one views the public with more contempt and arrogance than political leaders.

I'm in the exact position as you, I'm working on my photographs as well, there are all sorts of tricks you have to learn to make them really perfect, do you have a lightbox set up yet? That's one of the thing you need, you get some white cardboard or something, tape them to gether and then shine some white light from a desk lamp onto them, the card prevents shadows casting and making your photographs look all grey.
1738  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't lose your head! Full-body transplants will be possible within two years on: February 27, 2015, 09:43:28 PM
I can't see it ever being feasible, let alone in two years. That's the type of time frame you slap on your proclamation so the press covers it.

Even if it is possible, it would be like Necromancy except without the magic, utterly fucked up medical science piecing peoples' body parts together onto one person for the sake of lengthening their lifespan and you also have the issue of the black market and what criminals would do with that kind of technology.

I don't think that kind of technology in particular should exist in the first place.

What about transplantation of hearts, kidneys, livers, etc? Do we not have the black market for organ transplantation right now?

Besides that, the real necromancy is bringing dead people back to life. Should we ban resuscitators?

I knew people would bring that up Tongue yeah but they aren't from living unwilling victims are they? Which is where my worry comes from,  besides, we have embryo's etc. for growing that shit now without killing off a healthy human being that's already fully grown.

threatening the mayor and her staff with fines and jail time.

LOL! Seriously? These assholes should be thrown into jail for making threats like that, that's blatant extortion, just once I'd like to see these guys told to fuck off.
