Oh please, you're doing yourself no favours at all, especially by acting superior.
1922  Other / Off-topic / Re: The "off topic" thread for Smoothie, Nubbins, Quickseller, & their alts on: February 08, 2015, 04:47:35 PM
This better not turn into a topic spam war guys, if you all want to have your own slap fight over this instead of moving on fine, but I'll be reporting the guys who spam the most if this keeps up, I don't even like doing this but this kind of melodramatic bullshit is getting out of control and people use their petty fights as an excuse to spam shit all over the forum! Oh and if you guys are upset about WoodCollector locking his 'evidence' thread ( which really put you in a bad light there ) just make a topic about him and keep it in there so he can't lock it and make new ones when he feels like fighting again.
1923  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace is being over run by spam offers on: February 08, 2015, 04:40:06 PM
It's called a free market, no one is forcing you to buy this, the mods just stop them from spamming everywhere and that's it, anything more and you're simply trying to dictate what people can and can't sell on a whim.
1924  Other / Meta / Re: Feed the Children Charity Bong Raffle, Poor judgement, User should be Banned on: February 08, 2015, 03:24:18 PM
With the way he's been acting I've been more convinced by the other side, shame really because as others have said it's not the product itself but the way he's trying to represent it to get more money out of people.
1925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HOARD your cypto GOLD! All Hail the Hoarders! on: February 08, 2015, 03:20:51 PM
Long term users like me who want to actually use Bitcoin genuinely don't give a shit about the price, sure it's nice when it rises but in the end it doesn't take away from it's functionality as lots of people like to claim, that's not how a currency operates, as log as it is a decentralised medium of exchange then it will suit me just fine.
1926  Economy / Goods / Re: 1 Cheap jewellery design available! 0.05BTC! on: February 08, 2015, 12:09:07 PM
Small update! I'm still working on stuff and getting projects finished, I done those Teardrop amethysts finally and now I've got a reasonably working computer and the clusterfuck is over with for the most part so I can use it properly for my work, remember guys! Having a spare graphics card even if it's dirt cheap will save you a lot of stress and agony in the long run. I have mainly been working on my income situation now so I can buy more materials and be a bit more independent with my spending, you can expect this year to be pretty interesting in terms of the variety of stuff I'll be bringing a long because right now I've been fairly limited in what I can get my hands on.

I'm actually having a look at how to do a clip necklace/bracelet, even the simple ones are fairly complicated but I thought it would be nice to make something like that regardless where it all clips together rather than relies on jump rings and soldering to stay together, I've also been refusing to post up my artwork because the flatness in my charactes was just so fucking irritating but I've been working through that and will be posting up fresh images which will probably look completely different to the crap I posted awhile ago.

Definitely expect a lot more this year! Especially if I start getting money entirely on my own!  Grin price dumps ftw!

For the record the hooks themselves are pre-made, I took too damn long making these so I just didn't want to spend anymore time working on the hooks after all the work I put into the setting itself which is really the main part of the earrings any other teardrop earrings will have handmade hooks.
1927  Other / Meta / Re: Feed the Children Charity Bong Raffle, Poor judgement, User should be Banned on: February 08, 2015, 12:00:11 PM
holy fuck I haven't seen someone with that many negative ratings since Tradefortress lol
1928  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace is being over run by spam offers on: February 08, 2015, 11:12:11 AM
Usually if they're not against the law and so on it's fine but if they're trying to resort to spamming other people constantly especially through PM you'll probably be able to get them banned.
1929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Record high dump of LTC and BTC at BTC-e on: February 08, 2015, 09:25:42 AM
The main thing is guys don't panic, since there is an economic crash coming most people are going to think these levels were dirt cheap when things decide to fall apart.

when will that be? you think people will want to buy BTC in an economic collapse? why would they? Huh

I genuinely think it will be in the first quarter of this year, the signs are already there, if they somehow keep it going maybe later, but definitely this year, as far buying Bitcoin when they see they prices and how well it's working despite the complete fuck up by the financial sector, in a crisis, do you really think they're going to give a shit? If it holds its value then they'll want it, no matter how much people trash talk now I can guarantee you they'll dump paper money if they're feeling betrayed enough since they've already listened to the lies of central banks once before and that's working out oh so well for them.

It's these things called capital flight and wealth transfer, even if they don't necessarily all buy Bitcoin you can bet some of the smarter ones will want to diversify especially if they're thinking of leaving the country since Bitcoin will be easier to get out of there than gold or silver. When a country is on the verge of economic collapse they get extremely desperate which is why you're seeing all these ridiculous controls and regulations in place not only for Bitcoin but for general trade and taxation, the U.S is showing all the signs as well as the Euro zone.

1931  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Texas School Says 9-Year-Old's 'Magic Powers' Are a Terrorist Threat on: February 08, 2015, 09:15:49 AM
governments and religious organisations want obedience, never free thought, can't have the masses aware of how much they're being screwed now can they? Cheesy
1932  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pope Francis: parents can smack their children for bad behaviour on: February 08, 2015, 12:22:59 AM
You know, now that I think about it more... maybe the church should change their stance about behavior that has proven to be abusive and repeatedly leads to bad futures.  There are just too many examples of abused children that end up being murderers or abusive in other ways.

They haven't changed their stance on homosexuality for centuries despite it being blatantly obvious they're full of shit and where gay marriage has been introduced the sky hasn't fallen and people haven't turned to beastiality, hell even with taxes they act they have the same attitude, Finland is as far as I'm aware one of the only countries out there that taxes religious organisations and again, nothing disastrous has happened and the world hasn't fallen to pieces, in fact, people seem pretty happy over there.

Also, when are stupid people going to understand that I'm against all forms of physically unprovoked violence? Self-defence is one thing but you have to be a serious asshole to think it's 'okay' to go punching an asshole just because he said some mean things about your mother, granted, it's not like I wouldn't feel anything from it, I'm human too but it's a total joke when I hear people lecturing others about freedom of speech etc. and then suddenly changing their minds and deciding it's okay to get violent over a simple comment.
1933  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitStamp - Bank Blocks USD Deposits on: February 07, 2015, 10:30:52 PM
This is an attack, I doubt this is Bitstamps fault but a shoddy attempt by the banking system to shut their operations down, I hope they get through it okay.

1935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pope Francis: parents can smack their children for bad behaviour on: February 07, 2015, 08:45:24 PM
Plenty of people who claim to be spanked and are fine prove themselves to act like total douchebags so as far as I'm concerned the experiment has failed, as usual with most things bad, people are just in denial.
1936  Economy / Economics / Re: Video: Another economic crash is coming. How did this happen? on: February 07, 2015, 07:06:53 PM
A crash is probably imminent I just hope it doesnt turn out to be too major... I feel the system needs a massive overhaul but I do not think pushing and hoping for a collapse is a great way for it to happen.

We're all in Bitcoin, do you really think that a lot of us here give a shit what happens to a financial system that has royally screwed us and indebted generations for almost a century now? If people want to stay with such a system to the end then that's their choice.

But many people still do not understand the system they are a part of and the problems associated with it. I feel a dramatic overhaul is needed but do you want that to go hand in hand with the suffering of millions or do you think we should atleast try to find another way?

I'd love for it to happen but some people are stubborn, they won't move because they can't be bothered learning it and they'll only learn about it if they find something goes disastrously wrong with the current system.
1937  Other / Off-topic / Re: Missing: Phinnaeus Gage on: February 07, 2015, 07:00:16 PM
He got banned but yes that's his new account that Badbear posted up.

He is not banned, he used his account as collateral for something else. I believe the user holding the account was actually arrested recently.

Oh right! My bad, I thought he got banned at some point.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook and other big retailers can now take Bitcoin effortlessly. on: February 07, 2015, 06:15:31 PM
Holy cow, Bitpay is really pushing forward, I hope other competitors do the same though Bitcoin needs to spread even further, when I can pay steam directly for games and buy Jewellery supplies with Bitcoin I'll feel like we're getting somewhere.

1940  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccines vs Bitcoin on: February 07, 2015, 06:06:37 PM
Don't get me wrong, as an Anarchist the thought has definitely crossed my mind that the government could be responsible for putting extra hidden things in the vaccinations without our knowledge and we all know how zombie apocolypses usually get started ( The government working on some biological weapon or highly illegal you know the usual stuff Tongue ) but I guess it all goes down to how much you trust the doctors you see. Problem is that Doctors are generally pretty nice people that don't necessarily give a shit about working for the government etc. and just want to help people so it could be either put in their without their knowledge and so on, just so many factors.

I'll tell you one thing that definitely fucking concerns me is the mental health industry and their casual use of 'psychiatric' ( I use the term loosely there ) drugs but that's been heavily scrutinised and we just need to take the same approach with vaccinations, no bullshit hysteria, no "zomg dem guvernment spies put weird stuff in arr vaccinations!" just smuggle a fucking syringe full out to an independent clinic and have it properly tested, that's how you do this sort of thing properly.

It reminds me of Niel De'grasse Tyson and what he said about aliens, all this stuff is so easy to fake but if you can get the real physical thing then bring it over to a lab and let them take a look at it, exact same situation here, I'm not saying that it couldn't be, I'm just not convinced, I can tell you however that flu vaccinations for cats seem to be a load of shit, they may not necesarily harm them but they don't seem to do anything either, that's probably why they try to sell them.
