Alright guys, as I mentioned, I am in the process of helping a developer friend of mine here at work, as I work for a software developer, make a GUI that will help the noobs to download, plot, and mine. With this, I am hoping to get a bounty going so that my friend (who currently doesn't have any BURST) can get some pay for his hard work. Can we get together a bounty amount? I for one will start it off with a 10k donation. I don't know if there was ever a bounty for this already, but if so, can we just start adding to it?? Thanks!
Please list how much you are willing to contribute to the bounty, he is hoping to have this finished within a couple days, and the bounty would be a nice gesture to show that we care when people help out the coin and community as a whole!
Also, like I mentioned, we believe this will be Windows and 64bit only to start, it may then evolve from there, but it will be that for the beginning.

Hi. I write about pool http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io/ admin wrote that repaired payments. I think he is steal our money. User with account BURST-Y3LJ-428E-SZG5-HN5W3 now attached to this pool. He found 2 blocks: 7929,7947. But pool not write about it. Now balance of the pool- is 30'452 Bursts. If admin not paid 20000 bursts for miners, i I won't begin to come more I highly doubt that dcct would steal anything from anyone. Maybe PM him and ask if there is an issue. +1 Thats not my pool. I just wrote the C miner / merge tool. oh, who is it that wrote the block explorer, oh wait... It's URAY! |

I have even bigger dreams my son. I have my developer friend here at work with me ( I work for a software developer) who is going to design a GUI for the plotter and the miner! So we are talking about this right now. I will keep everyone updated!'

That's fantastic , and when the work will be finished? 1 week or more ? Honestly, I think it will be done very shortly. I am in the middle of explaining how it all works to him so that he can do it. Like I said, I will make sure to keep everyone updated! |

so I'm attemptin to run my plot generator over the network. im getting this error saying it cant find main class poc miner? is this a permission issue or something to do with java?  that means you need the pocminer file from the solo download. |

Downloaded like 3 versions of clients edited tons of files as ppls reccomend in their tutorials and im still getting error messages from client and dont even have generated any file in Plot folder because I just have no idea how to generate any of that files. Wasted 20 hours and im still at start im so disappointed its not working for me.

Hi everyone, After many hours of setup I finally made it. I have a 1Tb generation in progress and 3x100Gb already finished. I would like to test the V2 pool but I haven't any BURST for now. Could someone send me 1 BURST to test it please ? Here is my address : BURST-YA29-QCEW-QXC3-BKXDL. Regarding the plot generation, I found an OpenCL implementation of Shabal ( https://github.com/aznboy84/X15GPU/blob/master/kernel/shabal.cl) that could be used to make a GPU version of the generator. Once I have switched over to the v2 pool with my solo plots, what if I decide that I want to go back to solo? It doesn't seem like I will be able to due to the password error...

To go back solo, you have to spend 1 BURST to set your payout back to your own account instead of the pool's account. Go to http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html and at the bottom, put in your password and YOUR burst address. After a few confirms it that error will go away and you will be rewarded for blocks you find. amazing!!! Thank you so much for the response! |

I am getting password doesn't match recipient errors when trying to run one vm on the pool and the other solo...
apparently you can either do one or the other? So If I wanted to pool AND solo, I would have to move my solo to separate wallet, right?
dang.
You obviously can't mine at the pool and solo with the same plots at the same time.. You should be able to solo mine OR pool mine with the same plots unless you created them specifically for pool v1. Yea, I'm trying to use separate machine with separate plots to mine solo. Apparently you can't. |
