...
edit: we would all love it if we could make enough from BURST to make it our full time jobs, but the fact is, that's a ways off if ever. So until then, we can only promise we will do what we can when we can. We have very active devs, and many of them. daWallet just made a windows wallet that everyone was bitching about for a long time, but for some reason no one praised him or even donated anything to him...

I am going to start a donation to him right now with 100k. daWallet, please post an address I can give some BURST to you for your hard work, hopefully others will follow suit.

...

Next Windows Wallet update will be out soon. Some bugfixes, more functions and new design.
In the end of the road I see dynamic plotting and mining free space for everyone.  Send me Feedback! BURST-YZJ6-LYBY-WAC6-BQYGC

sent my 100k donation, I will post the tx when it gets a confirmation. I hope others will follow my lead here. Thanks!

The thing is, the team gets tired of constantly fighting the trolls who are pretending like they're out for the betterment of the coin. Such as Elmit.

If we could stop troll wrangling and actually focus on what needs to be done, a lot more would happen.

I myself, pretty much took a break because I just didn't feel like dealing with the constant nonsense anymore.

But, that being said, we haven't gone anywhere, dev is fully active, and things are going to keep on keeping on as they should.

Also, one more thing people should remember, this isn't our full time job, not even close. BURST isn't making any of us any money, so the amount of time we have to focus on it, is a direct correlation to that. We have done a TON, for FREE, and even GIVEN money to help the project. So, if anyone else would like to help, instead of just telling the world what should be different, we ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE!

People, how many times are we going to let the trolls derail us here? How many times? This is the best alt coin there is, the team is still alive and active, maybe not as active as everyone would like, but we're active. We have many great devs, and an amazing coin.

Just stop with the slanderous shit, and start making the world know about our amazing coin. Yes?

I just pulled the trigger and converted to this 350 Mh/beast!

I have some qasic left, they do pay normaly now

wait, what???

If you do the conversion, the Asics you have left start paying out??

Hm, i think yes. There is no Fee to pay and i have qASICs 650 left.

I can think of no other use of my qASICs other than they start paying normally again, canīt convert them to anything.

Hmm, very interesting indeed... if that's the case I may go for it just to get some sort of payout coming in...

New Beneficial Service Now Live For Sponsor Packages on the VIRAL Network.

I am pleased to announce that a very important service/feature is now LIVE and available to any sponsors who purchase a promotional package with the VIRAL NETWORK.

The new service that will be included is called "VIRAL GOOGLE BOOST"...
I was wondering when SEO would be brought in. In fact, I was thinking of buying a 4 BTC package (the one with links) to see what kind of an SEO boost the package would give....

With the package you are interested in, you would hit 2 birds with one stone. Now that Google is using Twitter status updates in their search results, you not only get backlink popularity from all the link backs and mentions, you now also get the Google Boost which is my own powerful spin on an SEO pump.  Don't be shy to hit me up if you want get some hot promo on the go or send an email to sales@getviralcoin.com

Adam G.

Pretty sweet bro, definitely.

It's enough to replace Burst_Wallet.exe. If you're using it the first time you can drop your old Blockchain into the "burst_db" folder.

Gonna give this a shot now, Good work bro.

dev still around ? Smiley

Yes, the dev posted less than 2 weeks ago, and he is still active in the core slack, I saw him online yesterday. He's a busy guy, just let him work. That's the best for all of us.

I have many ideas I have posed to the team now, that should be approved and decided upon within days, then you will see some posts I will be making.

My main goal is go get more work done, more activity, more recognition, more development, more people working for us.

Is that a hard goal to attain? Maybe.

Is it a goal we shy away from? Absolutely not!

Go BURST!

OP can you update the main post, with additional information what happened?
Has everything ended or solved.

What exactly are you referring to? As far as I know, there was never any issue with the software or BURST in general...
I thinks he want to ask the state of these"
Technological RoadMap
Basic pool support (done)
Improved pool support (done)
Advanced transactions(escrow, subscription, reserve funds then transfer not yet known portion later)(some done)
Automated transactions (turing complete smart contracts) (done)
BurstId authentication system
Allow linking BurstId to burst account for transfers with spending limits.
DHT for off-chain services
Off-chain encrypted messaging and voip between burstid accounts
File storage (disclaimer: still figuring out a good way to do this. this will take a while.)

seems dev didn't update the states of these action for at least more than 4 month. so whether dev still working on these function is a problem

dev posted a lil while back (I'll have to look) about what he is currently working on, I believe he said security measures, that he believed were long overdue.

And one more thing about the stolen money. Can someone present some figures? How big was the transfer? I'm pretty sure the community can help you out, if not that guy sitting on mmmaybe's funds.

I can help a bit on that. Most of that is publicly available on the blockchain, but not the entire story. These were the donation addys

http://burstcoin.eu/address/3705386393180364352 roughly 1.6 mil BURST
https://blockchain.info/en/address/17SrpSXT6Zv1DvtyoSaSM1mzGhCMX7szRg roughly .3 BTC

Of the grand total seen there mmmaybe himself donated roughly 800k BURST and .1 BTC
He did however receive BTC donations to other addys he owned. The amounts themselves are less important than the timing.
We effectively lost mmmaybe and the funds just at the time of the ACCT, and we needed at least 500$ to pull the PR off in a good way. I was not around to help much and we did not manage to coordinate with Qora or CIYAM as well as we should have.

I can say that not all is lost and BURST is not circling the drain, I will continue to help wherever I can. At the moment I am working on several promotional activities, but cannot say when or whether they will bear the fruit we all desire.

Long story short, soldier on and try to help. Let us leave all this petty squabbling behind Smiley

Thanks! The thief apparently donated haft of the community capital, but that doesn't matter. Can someone set up a CF for 1.6 mil and a donation address for BTC?

500 dollars for a single press release...? Google, 5 seconds: You can get them for 50 bucks. There is even an offer of unlimited PRs during a whole year for $299 from PRBuzz. Seems like Bit-x uses them. Personally I would have contacted http://bitcoinprbuzz.com .

But to do that something have to be written...  Wink

We actually did use PRBuzz, one community member who chose to remain anonymous paid for the first distribution through their wire. It was pricier then but mmmaybe did get in contact with them afterwards. 500$ was a roundabouts figure mmmaybe and I came up to if we were to use several promotion channels.

You are absolutely correct as to the writing part. We could start by redoing and republishing ACCT Smiley in absence of other developments.

Max you and I should get together and do some beautiful PR writeups, make a new PR template, with pretty logos and make 5-10 PR docs for all the great things BURST can do, suggestions on programs you could make from BURST tech might be another thing to do. You and I are the writers of the group, what do you think?

No matter what they're going to attack me. It is what it is, I'm done replying to them. They're below me.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: July 02, 2015, 05:29:02 PM
I don't think anyone was more disappointed than the CIYAM Developers when we completed ACCT and then saw it get *zero media coverage*.

We had never expected profits but just wanted to see our tech "work" across two blockchains to help create "a truly decentralised exchange" mechanism and had hoped that at least the achievement would have been "picked up" by the media (as it was a "world's first").

Hopefully the Burst community can "re-group" and move forward (rather than attacking each other over the past). The CIYAM Developers have not "abandoned" this project despite our own disappointments - so please focus on the next steps rather than on who is to blame about the failure of the last ones.

(and yes - "don't trade with me as apparently I am a scammer")

We were all disappointed by this, but at the time it happened there was hardly any coordination in the team, and a lot going on as far as theft and nonsense. It didn't get NEAR the coverage it should have.

We had been saving to get a paid PR campaign going, but that money was stolen.

Thank you for your continued hard work for FREE, and I know you're no scammer. We will do our best from this point on to promote things in the manner they should be.

Every coin has their random issues, and BURST isn't immune to that. I do believe we'll get through this and things will get better soon.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: July 02, 2015, 04:44:36 PM
What's exactly the PR team ? The dev team ? Or something else ?

We're just a group of dedicated BURST supporters that work closely with the dev team. We do our best to make the coin visible by different news teams and PR people. We contact possible financiers and VCs, and we've contacted hard disk manufacturers as well.

Currently I'm focusing my time on learning to code, so that I can release tools for the BURST community as well.

We've all kinda been taking a beating lately with all the nonsense going on, so a lot of us are taking breaks from being as active in PR related tasks as we were before.

Not to mention, the little money we DID get donated to help, was STOLEN.

Not many members in the community are inclined to help with anything, except seemingly insane ones.

It's all just difficult to deal with after a while.

Sucks when we have great tech, great coin that didn't use IPO, and we're now wishing we did because no one is willing to help or invest to support the coin. When scam coins and BS coins do IPO, pump and dump, and leave on to the next coin, and screw people over.

We're here with a truly amazing 2.0 project that for some reason the community just wants to sit back and hold, and hope for miracles.

I will be first to say, without help from the community, and everyone doing whatever they can to help, no matter how small, this project will take MUCH longer to become as successful as we want it to.

When all you see is drama in the thread started by someone who used to be a trusted member of the team, it's disheartening.

I for one, am getting tired of it, I can't imagine what a newbie would think.

The last pages of the thread are a bit confusing, but now I better understand. If you need help maybe I can help you.

We are always open to help from community members. Feel free to post your ideas and we can go over them. If you are talking about something you consider to be more related to me, please bring it to a PM, anything related to BURST please mention it openly here for discussion, to move the thread back to where it should be. thank you!

the last pages of the thread are throwing me off from mining.
I was very excited about POC, but wtf is this shit with PR and devs?

It is true bullshit.

So Bull and shit, i'm gonna make it easy for everyone and just leave. Bye burst

Dude, don't let this nonsense make you disappear, there will always be people trying to slander the ones on top, the ones doing the good work. Just don't let it get to you, tell the truth as you always do, and people will see what is real and what isn't.

You're by far one of the most honest and hardworking people I have ever had the fortune to work with. I would be very upset if you were to leave.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: July 02, 2015, 02:57:44 PM

I could easily refute all of this with emails that had been sent to me offering donations, without any prompting from me. This guy is clearly all the same person with  shill accounts and I'm frankly not into the games/bullshit.

mmmaybe came at me with this offer before I knew anything of anything.

honestly I didn't even bother to read the rest of this post, because it is clearly bullshit.

however, I guess if people would like, I can post screenshots of the emails that were sent to me to put this to rest once and for all, but clearly that won't make a difference, if people are out for drama and nonsense, they're going to get it no matter what... SO... all I can really say is... uh...no.

This is all complete nonsense that I can easily prove false, but is this what we want to turn this thread into? no.

This thread is about BURST, not about some psycho's idea of a fun time.

another however, if you, Karl/mmmaybe/thomas/TheBurstTruth/etc etc... would like to make another thread and actually accuse me of something that I've done wrong, go for it, and in that thread I will post proof pics of the opposite of literally everything you said (that I actually read...)

The thing is... I'm not here to play games with sociopaths. I'm here to make a company, and better the coin I like.

Keep this nonsense out of the BURST thread, make another thread, come here, post a link to it, and I will gladly make you look even more stupid. okay?

How about you calm down a bit? You are easily the man most associated with Burst, and I don't think your posts benefits the coin in any way right now. Ok...?

How about someone slander you completely falsely, and you sit there and take it? Cool?

I do so much to make sure my reputation is solid, when psychopaths with multiple personalities come along and decide they want to try to tarnish that, I'm going to speak the truth.

I am not anything but calm, so please, don't tell me what to do. Thanks.

Who is irontiga? We don't know! As all people in the forum are here with a nick, with no reference to real life.
IronTiga picks the cherry for himself, convinced me to give him assets to slam it.
I made a mistake in my calculation and HE KNOWS that! but he would not think about to return the overpaid dividends. I paid it from my own pocket, it was also my mistake! However, it shows the real character of a person.
All he "helped" me was with wrong instructions and a not working asset dividend script.
To make a website isn't a miracle anymore. I don't think crowtec is his boss. I guess more, that crowtec is (or will be) another victim.

Haha, let's not go here, everyone knows the truth on this one....

I am anon, although i think that crowetic could find my identity if he wanted. Haha, it's crow who's protecting my identity!!!

Not my boss, we're in this together.

I suggested you sell some cheap, u sold some at a fair price, which i bought, and then u dumped on my really low buy order, you're an idiot for doing that.

Ask bobfett, my dividend script works fine, you're just an idiot and can't use it.

P.S. I'll stay out of the mmmaybe debate, although, as haitch said, regardless of the truth, he owes us the PR money which he STOLE.

Exactly, we KNOW you! Crowtec is the next victim, not your boss. We cannot even see the identity of crowtec's SSL certificate! Possible made by you anyway!!!

I told you, that I CALCULATE the price and not guess them. I cannot understand your meaning. The original price was 100,000 and you bought some cheap and put a buy order of 18,000, knowing that this is an impossible price. That was just done to make my asset look like cheap. So I give you the word back: i***t

I told you many times that the script as you gave me did NOT work, can not work and will not work. That's all I tell you. You miss-lead many people with your "smart" advices. You better make some web pages, where you are better serving the world.
Bobafett is well advised to check this script though.

Why not return the known calculation error where I transferred to you twice the asset dividends? I CALL THAT STEALING. You, headach and crowtec are a perfect team.

Then there's this guy... Elmit, I'm sorry we wouldn't let you join us, but we don't like old fat guys who steal from people they are supposed to be giving services to. Maybe you should think about that before you try to join an upstanding team.

Give me a break @ ssl cert. If you had a brain it really wouldn't be too hard to find out it's registered to me and my business address. Also, dude, I'm about the easiest person in the world to figure out who I am. A simple google search goes a long way.

If I were trying to do anything underhanded, would I make myself the easiest person on the internet to find? Doubtful. Get real man, do we REALLY have to get into this again with eachother, or can you just finally drop it?
