Why does $ETH lead the bull markets?
Probably because $BTC is a bet in the past
$ETH is a bet on the future

Propably beacause you don't know what you are talking about. BTC is 97% above 2017 ATH while ETH is -10% from 2018 ATH.

while $BET although still undervalued is a bet on a self-evolving programmable money growing it's Mcap in leaps and bounds

Low substantive shill and even you did not link us to your shilled coins because there are 3 different projects with BET ticker.

And put 5% in ALT too, like LINK for example...

Link is overhyped defi project. Defi bubble is over and it has a lot of space to drop. Like 90% - 99%. Link for example is just an oracle worth $6.6 bilion . Can you imagine how much data should it process to generate profit that would justify that big MC? Etherum would burn much earlier. I suspect that currently there are not even so many companies interested in this technology, even if the link has achieved a monopoly. I suppose that link is worth like 50-100 mln $ (1% of its MC)
2504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [HIVE] Hive project speculation. x100 possible ? on: January 10, 2021, 04:48:24 PM
Nah. x100 will place Hive in top 10 CMC. Not gonna happened ... well maybe after building 100+ million user base, what will take years if its possible at all.
2505  Economy / Economics / Re: Stinulus go big or go Home on: January 10, 2021, 03:24:16 PM
I dont mind to crush fed money printers to maximum as Long as I get profit and im not in USA

It will affect you no matter if you leave in USA or not. And printers are doing brrrr not only in USA, the european central bank is also lagging behind in loading paper into the printers.
2506  Economy / Economics / Re: Stay in HOLD or switch to DCA on: January 10, 2021, 03:18:35 PM
Did you say it's autorebablanced? Id scrap that tbh as it feels like you could make a loss of everything if only one of those coins keeps dumping hard?

Good point. @OP consider to add some safety parameters into autobalancer.

As we are currently during new bitcoin bubble i would rather suggest going with DCA but more like selling 5% weekly instead of buying (5% of what you have during sell day).
2507  Economy / Economics / Re: This last rally Leg has been also bought by retail? on: January 10, 2021, 01:14:19 PM
Another point that could indicate the purchases of large investors are very low bitcoin transaction fees. New ATH almost every day and fees stays at 5-20 sat/vbyte for next block transfer. If retail small investors would be buying btc now we would see many small transactions and congested network.

Fun fact. In my city there is notorious lack of cash in bitomats. Yesterday one ATM went from full to empty in 2 hours. Looks like retail investors are dumping bitcoin currently not buying.
2508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Silver-backed tokens, anyone? on: January 09, 2021, 03:07:50 PM
Apart from popular gold backed tokens like Paxos Gold  and very limited others I don't think there is any real projects that are actually backed by real gold or silver, it's all a lie, even Paxos Gold don't show us any prove that they are backed by real gold, we are just taking risks

Paxos is here for 2.5 year and have quite established possition. It is also "regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services" and regarding its gold token "A nationally ranking auditor will attest to the matching supply of PAXG tokens and underlying gold every month." It is also redeemable so you can request a delivery of gold bars. It looks to me as the most legit gold token.
2509  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: gdzie rozdają kryptowaluty za darmo? on: January 09, 2021, 02:05:15 PM
Wyglada to dosyc skomplikowanie, czy byłbyś w stanie cos wiecej napisac?

@Tytanowy Janusz sprzedales wszystkie "1INCHe"?

2510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction Fees on: January 09, 2021, 11:03:22 AM
I also don't like the fact to invest in something without real value-> since we agree bitcoin can't become the new global currency.
Or do is still miss something? Bitcoin can only be used as payment and investing purposes right?

What is the real value of gold? All use cases it can be used in, starting from jewellery ending on processors. Right
What is the real value of bitcoin? All use cases it can be used in, starting from easy transfer of value abbroad, storing funds out of centralized organisations ending on headge agains global reset all secured by network secured by amount of energy that could power whole Ireland and more than 300 core developers.
2511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Silver-backed tokens, anyone? on: January 09, 2021, 10:40:45 AM
There are a lot of tokens that claim to be backed by silver but I would not risk a penny witht them. Just to throw some examples here:

CannDollar - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/canndollar/
silvertoken - https://silvertoken.com/why-silvertokens/

But as I said - risk is to big compared to expected profit.
2512  Economy / Economics / Re: The Man Who Called the 2008 Market Bubble Says This One Could Pop in Spring on: January 09, 2021, 10:33:46 AM
With or without covid, a crash would come, the stock market looks like just as much of a bubble as crypto right now. Tesla doubled in a month = Bitcoin doubled in a month. I just read an /r/wallstreetbets thread today, and people were discussing how their normie friends who don't know what a bull market is are making thousands of dollars just by buying popular stocks.

I thin it's unclear how this crash would affect Bitcoin. We have seen Bitcoin and stocks going hand-in-hand in the past for some time, it could happen that stock market panic would touch all other markets, including crypto. And then money printer will go even more brrr to help companies, which would boost Bitcoin. This scenario has already happened with the initial covid market panic.

Bitcoin doubled, tesla doubled ... but no one said anything about Venezuela stock market (IBVC) XD

From 2600 to 1 905 696 in 2 years (+73 000%). How that happened? Hyperinflation. I think that Jeremy Grantham is right and we will see massive dump (like 50%) but than we will see even stronger bounce and venezuela style pump, short rect (while Fiats will go to 0)
2513  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My gift to anyone that has no money but is smart and wants a lot of free crypto on: January 09, 2021, 09:58:14 AM
Its much harder now thanks to exchanges like 1inch or paraswap that aggregates multiple swaps and pass your transaction through the one with the best price - what aumotically balances prices on exchanges - eliminates arbitrage opportunities.
2514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction Fees on: January 09, 2021, 09:42:48 AM
Since i don't own bitcoins anymore, i was wondering if this is still the case?
And if this is still the case, why do we all believe in this expensive currency?

Its still the case in term of 20$ transfer that you would like to do. But bitcoin as "new global currency that will replace fiats" was a 2017 bubble paradigm - and it failed from too high fees - as you mentioned. We have another one created for this bubble - its hedging against global crisis (hyperinflation of dolar, euro - global reset). And now biggest investment funds (like Fidelity) is suggesting to put at least 5% of your well balanced portfolio into bitcoin.

2515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: January 09, 2021, 07:36:37 AM
Damn ... i think that we are at a level of bubble that price chart is no longer a correct chart to look at:

Thil bull run looks so extreme. Its first time in my life to surf on such a wave. I don't think that any TA will work here. Pure emotional trading with lambo in front of investors eyes. Thats what drive price now.
I think its time to switch charts to google trends Smiley

And wait for new ATH there.

2516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coolest active vanity address contest. Winner gets .00055btc/ 20usd on: January 08, 2021, 10:07:01 AM
OP said the payment would be to that address, so you can introduce other people's addresses if you find them cool and want THEM to win.

although the bigger issue here is that "coolest" is subjective so basically it is OP's opinion to choose one and pay it the reward.

Oh ... you are right.

Hall of fame for rare address:

Topic in which LoyceV and DarkStar_ are creating vanity addresses for free. If anyone wants to find cool address or have an idea for one.

2517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The viability of Trading Bots. on: January 08, 2021, 09:51:02 AM
You make sense, but even doing the 1-month switch won't really prove anything, with manual trading there will be days when I don't trade or signals that I don't catch, so eventually I will miss many trades,

If you apply same strategy for manual and bot trading the only variable (advantages of algo trading) is:

1- your presence on market
2- your successiveness in sticking to the strategy
3- reaction time

So if you ment to compare bot vs human performance than its good to include p1 factor too (missed trades by not being active 24/7)

and so if those were supposed to be winning trades then my manual results will be bad, if they were more of losing trades then my manual trading results would be better because a losing trade missed is a winning one.

They could be loosing one too.

I didn't know that your bot is going with such long trades. Algo trading show true potential during scalping/MM - basically short term trading. F.e. my trading bot is MM on 7 trading pairs on small exchange, scanning order books each few sec, placing orders all day, filling 200+ trades daily for last 6 months. There is no way for me to be as fast with decisions, as fast with creating orders 24/7. Human would catch like 5% of this trades and
die of boredom after a week. Here true power of algo trading shows up. During trades that takes months bot is not that useful and its hard to evaluate its performance especially during bull run that we have now. You will need months if not years to draw valuable conclusions.
2518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the Bittrex Privacy Coin Delisting Means? on: January 07, 2021, 03:16:17 PM
Will this affect the prices of these coins? How will it affect them long-term? Hopefully other exchanges don't do the same thing.

In 10+ years all privacy coins will be excluded from mainsteream trading, drop 90% in value and be used mostly on darknet.

Thankfully there are DEX's. Dex's will allow people to freely transact, exchange without the interference of politics

All these will just push more and more people to DEXs and make DEXs a much better place to trade since you don't have to KYC and wait for 2 weeks to set up an account.

DEX wont help. You will be able to swap monero for btc there but this will be trackable transaction and blocked by CEX when you will want to use your btc there or trade to fiat. Most likely we will have 2 btc price that day. clean BTC price and dirty BTC price.
2519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coolest active vanity address contest. Winner gets .00055btc/ 20usd on: January 07, 2021, 02:55:37 PM
Guys this is giveaway for 20$ for cool vanity address... not proposition of a risky deal. What you have to lose? If you are already using cool vanity address post it here and maybe you will win. In the worst case scenario OP will leave without picking winner. I don't think that escrow for 20$ is something necessary in here. Its made for fun - at least that's how i see it.
2520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont you think Bittrex ship is sinking???? BTC price is lowest ???? on: January 07, 2021, 02:46:30 PM
That's Bitfinex....but you are right. I just checked and it's $100-$200 behind which can be attributed to the number of traders there [volume].

You are right... well ... my brain is now focussed on reading candles not letters Smiley

Yeah man, that’s really happening and I smell it too quickly, it just doesn’t feel all okey, they’re hiding something from us, although we have no prove or anything, I think the exchange are run by a bunch of monkeys that steal money just like Mt. Gox, but but this is one of the reputable exchange we can’t raise any doubt earlier, I think they’re totally down to the hill.

Bittrex is registrated exchange focused on filling all regulations. This force them to thing that scare potential customers away (like KYC to just open account). Thats why volume there is going down but ... its way far from Mt. Gox case.
