2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUENGINE AND THE MODERN SCAM PART 1. on: April 22, 2022, 10:49:10 PM
Oh well, it seems from the beginning that this project has no direction whatsoever and it's not a viable invested.

This may not be the plan after all, but the people behind needed the money and decided to deceived everyone who still hasn't left their project. And they concocted a story that seems to be plausible, nevertheless they are going to be exposed as a bunch of scammers. So this should be a lesson for everyone, specially newbies to really do your own investigation first before putting your hard earn money in crypto. Anyone can do a rug pull here.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 22, 2022, 10:28:27 PM
Haney is more tactical he seldom makes a mistake and a good counter puncher.

This is what Lopez doesn't have. If we still remember how Lopez fought when he lose against Kambasos, he was so aggressive that he forget to pay attention to his defense, the country punches of Kambasos went through although at some point he hurt Kambasos but it wasn't enough to KO him.

Haney by decision is probably the result.
But the thing is, if he just make one single mistake in this fight, an aggressive Kambosos might take advantage of it. An old Linares almost knock out Haney in their fight, it's that Linares is tired late in the round that's why he didn't make a follow-up. So if that is Kambosos, then maybe it will be a knock out win. Yes, he is a technical fighter, no question about it, but Kambosos might counter it with his pure aggressiveness just like in the Lopez fight.

If Kambasos has the power to KO Haney, he can.

Based on his record, he is only a 50% KO puncher, with 10 KO's only from 20 wins, while Haney has a 55.5% KO rate.
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/646781

Kambasos may hurt Haney but could not KO him for sure.
We will have to see, Haney doesn't have a good chin as I have said, and if Kambosos will touch that hard then we can see if Haney can readjust his gameplan or that power of Kambosos is enough to score a knock out victory for him.

But the bookies is leaning towards the defense of Haney and his accurately in counter that could win the fight for him. That's why he is the favorite. But we can't underestimate the champion here who is making his defense in his own soil.
2503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 22, 2022, 10:08:06 PM
Nuggets had a 30-18 run in the third quarter against Warriors and I think it was their last and noble attempt to survive in the series. But the Warriors were just too good. They played in great control in the fourth quarter and sealed the deal. Jordan Poole was the key player in this series, I think. He is playing like a veteran or superstar almost. On the other hand Jokic also played really good and tried everything to avoid defeat but it just wasn't enough. His field goal percentage is 67, which is very very good. I feel like it is a pity that they will probably be eliminated. But game 4 will be Nuggets win in my opinion. They can't advance in playoffs though. Warriors will not let the series out of their hands.

Everyone is talking about their offensive weapon, but least we forgot, they have Draymond Green to contained Jokic all night long. And that one defensive stance he did against Jokic and talking the ball? Damn, mentally it looks like the Nuggets are already out of this series, I'm not going to be surprised that they are going to be swept by the Warriors in the next game. And it's obvious that Jokic can't do it alone.

Yeah, I totally agree with what the others have said, it's sport betting. Your chance to win is higher as compare to roulette or worst slot machine. And specially if you are a avid fan of sport, then obviously you have follow it for a long time that you know certain teams, their strengths and the players themselves. Although I had once been addicted to playing roulette and I have fun and enjoy but lost some huge money on it.
2505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 within a year, crypto firm's CEO predicts! on: April 21, 2022, 11:49:39 PM
How many times we see those prediction fails? Most of those prediction didn't have proper timeline so I guess they are just waiting for it to happen and praise their selves once those price came to reality. So maybe best for you to not mind all of those prediction because some do it for their own benefits they just want to be discussed by majority and this is huge exposure to them if they succeed.
Those predictions are meant to keep hope alive for investors and traders. The market dont just go quiet in the bear market but I expect to see the bottom of the bitcoin market this year if we haven't seen it. 2023 will prepare the ground for bitcoin halving in 2024, If bitcoin does not get lower than the present price it does not look attractive for investor willing to take 20x+ in the next bull
Well at least if you are here for long term, these kind of predictions doesn't matter. I mean it's good to hear someone with a bold prediction of like 6 digits, nevertheless your concern as a long term investor is to accumulate as much as you can and hold. Maybe we can hit that price in the future, but still, you will not just simply dump it just for the profits. You will have to hold and wait for more, until such time that it bitcoin exceeds your expectations.
2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 21, 2022, 11:28:51 PM
..... He got 27 points but 18 of them were thanks to free-throws.
What's wrong with getting points from the free throw line? I thought he earned that opportunity but you're talking as if it's bad for him and the team if he scores there. More points from FT doesn't mean it's a bad game unless he's been flopping a lot like some players used to do.
I think what he meant is that he should be making points not in FT. Durant has 6 TO again, similar to the first game, 1 out of 2 in three's. So for a player with Durant's caliber, again, this could be consider as subpar performance. They also have a good lead, but the Celtics made a huge comeback.

But the good news is that they are moving on Barclays center next, so they should feel comfortable. I expect Kyrie to make a statement in game 3 and comeback from just a 10 point performance in game 2.
2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 21, 2022, 10:59:39 PM
As others have said, there's no point in airdrop anymore, it has been exposed already and has been taking advantage of.

For those who have been here specially in late 2017, it was very huge and profitable. But just like what crypto market is, it moves very fast, once it has the hype, but it died down.

So it's better to put your effort and time on other things that can make you money in crypto-verse.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 21, 2022, 10:10:35 PM

For the information of those who did not know, Jonas Sultan defeated Casimero on their fight last 2017, this may boost the confidence of the Filipino pug coming into the fight.

That was five years ago and if Sultan wins the title, Casimero can challenge Sultan for a rematch and it will be sweet revenge if it happens the Casimero Sultan fought is very much different now, he has improved a lot but it seems Casimero cannot keep up with the weight anymore and he will haver to prove up, in the first place this would have happened if only Casimero can keep up maintaining the weight, let's see Casimero's plan he will make an announcement on this.
Yeah, it was a different Casimero then, so Sultan should take advantage of this opportunity and maybe thank Casimero later (that is if he won this fight).

And who knows, we doesn't want a Filipino vs Filipino fight, we almost seen one though before, Donaire vs Casimero, until it was called off and then Casimero and Donaire amend. But Casimero vs Sultan can be potentially made in the future. Not sure if this two are close or what, but they used to be on MP so for sure they have crossed paths recently.
2509  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: April 20, 2022, 08:57:23 PM
It's obvious by now, we don't need to wait till countries legalized them. Ever since we reaches all time high in 2017, there are a lot of them who required KYC, exchanges etc because governments are forcing everyone and making it a mandatory. So I guess this is now the basic but necessary part of countries accepting bitcoin. No more anonymity as they are going to give up in exchange of acceptance from countries and legalization.
It is really a good feeling that I am easily doing whatever I want with crypto in my nation. It wasn't really easy to get it going back in the day, it was good but not great so it took me a while to feel this way. Back in the day in my nation we had gray area situation, it wasn't illegal and nobody made it illegal, but nobody made it legal neither so it was always a bit of an issue.

I hoped that it would do better and eventually it did, right now it is fully legal and nobody questions what I do with it, I can basically earn it, spend it, trade it or whatever else. This wasn't something I really expected many years ago, so the fact that it is finally here makes me feel so happy.
Good to hear that mate, at least you country's decision was right in the beginning and didn't put strict restrictions so that you and others can enjoy and benefited from our bitcoin journey.

And as I have said, countries and government might be willing, but there will be trade-offs for sure. KYC and other legally mandated to identify and verify every bitcoin users in every country. And this is due to the global anti-money laundering law (AML).
2510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 20, 2022, 07:53:56 PM
Jimmy Buttler doing everything he can for the Heat but the Hawks are catching fire in the fourth. It's now a single possession ball game and a lot of things could still happen with under 3 minutes remaining. It eould be a shame if the Heat lose this one after a commanding third quarter.

Bogdanovic is the game changer here.

....

Game's over. Huge response from Butler aftet their lead was cut down to only three.

Yeah, it was Butler in the last 3-4 minutes of the game, 40+ points in game 2, that's huge. Too much experience I would say, Butler and the rest of the Heat knows how to protect that lead and then their defense against Trae Young in that crucial minutes. Bogdanovic though continue to score in the 1:30 mark but it was too late already. And then the Heat putting the ball to their best FT shooter to seal the win for them.
I honestly didn't like how he ended up with 45 points while the rest are under 20 points. It doesn't look good for the team's overall performance but a win is still a win. I've seen them do better as a team and I expect a more balanced scoring and more ball movement from them in game 3.

That's how it goes some games.  Feed the hot hand.  Butler scored 7 in a row when they were only up 3 to stretch the game to 10.  Dude is playing out of his mind right now, Jimmy doesn't get the credibility he deserves.
Well he has done this in the past, they even reach the finals against the Lakers in the bubble so they are more capable of winning games when Butler is doing the offensive damage. And we all know that this kind of players brings out the best of themselves in the playoffs so we might see other franchise players scoring 40 or more point to secure a win in any series. Jimmy is one of the most under rated superstar we have right now. Not flashy but very effective.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 20, 2022, 07:20:13 PM

On the other side, I cannot blame Canelo for avoiding GGG that time as it could stain his record. I mean he cannot afford to lose again from that defeat he suffered from Mayweather, he's building his career to have some legacy in the industry which he did and now that he's already at the peak of his prime, he can now destroy whoever he wanted to fight even if it's GGG.

This one is true I mean we can't really tell the exact reason why Canelo is avoiding to have a trilogy against GGG but he already prove his skills, strength and power against GGG by winning for two times. Though, there are some speculations that Canelo's victory during their fight have some sort of questionable but then I think Canelo now is more focus and looking forward to face new fighters and opponents. Though, I wouldn't disagree that Canelo vs. GGG trilogy will be a good fight to watch for if happen again.

No Mate, Canelo only wins once. The first one is a draw. That's the very reason why from the longest time GGG wanted to have a rematch
but Canelo avoiding that one, thought there's a smoke surrounding the boxing community about the possibilities of having a trilogy, for now it would be the fight against Bivol to watch out before we will deal for that trilogy against GGG.

All GGG fans are still waiting for Canelo to accept the fight before the man will completely hang his gloves.

We don't know yet if there's some inside negotiation that already happening between the camps, but it's good if they will push this one.
Canelo's camp already confirmed the trilogy, so there could be negotiations already even prior to making it public.

Yeah, it was a draw, but there are fans seeing it as a GGG win in the first fight. And then Canelo slightly edging GGG in the second. But still the fight is very close that we need to see a 3rd fight and finally Canelo is willing because of the money and revenues and then become the greatest of this generation.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 20, 2022, 06:53:43 PM
Jonas Sultan vs Paul Butler will be the fight we will see on April 22nd.

It will be an interim WBO Bantamweight Title. When we say "interim" it means a temporary championship. Maybe upgraded to the WBO Bantamweight Championship if Casimero will be stripped from his title.
Still second good option though, Jonas Sultan is also a good replacement fighter, another Filipino that has power in both hands maybe not as popular as Casimero, but he can get the same results, win the fight and go home with the belt.

And maybe we will see a Casimero vs Sultan fight next if Jonas will win? this could be for the regular belt or super champion as we already know that organizations now has a lot of this kind of champion belts.
2513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ( NBA ) Nets vs Celtics Game 2 - let's discuss on: April 20, 2022, 06:30:40 PM
This thread is for the specific game only, let's discuss this particular game and let's see what you have in mind.

I am leaning on the Nets to cover the spread, my pick is Nets +3.5.

Last game result, Celtics won by 1 point only, so Nets should not be dominated here IMO.
I'm also leaning towards the Nets +3.5 or even a ML which is more juicier.

Current odds +3.5 = 1.94, and then ML = 2.34

The Nets still has Durant and Irving, two of the best offensive weapons we currently have. But in order to win, both of them should play above par. Maybe they should at least score 30 point or more or have someone to help them. And they can stay with the Celtics and fight it out in the last minute of the game, they have a good chance to win Game 2 as I have said, they have the two clutch player.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delisting of tokens will take place again on: April 19, 2022, 05:22:14 PM
Be prepared.

This is a warning to all of you running after meme coins, even if they get listed on top exchanges it doesn't mean they will survive for long, or have you forgotten that many projects got delisted from exchanges after the ICO craze of 2017? The same thing will happen once a tough bear market starts, so many meme coins won't be able to cope with the situation and many exchanges will be forced to delist the tokens.
Of course, for those who have been in this market already, we all know that delisting is real even for the developers. But there are criteria being set by an exchange, so if the projects didn't follow those rule then definitely they will be delisted as fast as they have been listed. So the rule is that if you are heavily on meme coins then it's better to get profits and reinvest your revenue to solid projects that will last even in this bear market.
2515  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: April 19, 2022, 03:50:29 PM
We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

Of course this is a good thing when many countries legalize bitcoin, of course when countries legalize bitcoin then rules will be made, and I think this is not a problem, even though it is regulated but I believe it will never reduce the decentralized function of bitcoin and of course a good prospect to keep the price .

when all countries in the world legalize bitcoin, then bitcoin decentralization function will be reduced, i believe countries will require bitcoin wallets to require their customers to KYC and pay taxes, exchanges will all be required to require their customers to KYC , banks are monitoring every transaction made to buy bitcoin or altcoins, the world of legalization will take its toll, but on the bright side it will be easier to catch scammers when people report
2516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ronin hack blamed to North Korean hackers by American government on: April 19, 2022, 05:31:41 AM
We can only based on speculations as North Korean hackers have been blamed for most of the crypto's hack in the last 5 years or so. But we definitely don't have valid proof except coming from the US itself.

Definitely the North Koreans are not going to admit it as well. And even their secretive Lazarus group has been in the headlines even before crypto boom in 2017 if I'm not mistaken.

Nevertheless, we should take everything with a grain of salt.
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 19, 2022, 04:48:13 AM
Another blow out victory by the Warriors over the Nuggets, 3 shooting guard? No problem for the Warriors as Steve Kerr uses this for a brief moment but it was enough for them to make a comeback and win big again. The spread was covered by the team today, so for sure a lot of us has won our bets today.
2518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 19, 2022, 03:45:07 AM
@TravelMug. There will presently be more of a chance on a trilogy after GGG's performance vs. Murata. The excitement is only beginning, I reckon.

In any case, @bisdak @Boafeng and other real boxing fans in this thread, if someone asked you if Bivol is Canelo's hardest challenge after his fight vs. GGG, would your answer be a yes or a no?
We will have to see it first though, but if we are going to based it on paper, yeah, it sure like it. Bivol is young, undefeated and one of the champion in this division. He has the power and has been knocking out his opponents in the lightweight. Although this will not be the first time that Canelo is going up in weight, Bivol might be a serious challenge for him style wise. But we will see everything once they go in the ring.

Was actually a pretty good game yesterday for my Chicago Bulls. I was actually pretty surprised to see them leading at any point in the game let alone so late in the contest. But the simple matter of the fact is that they don’t have a mega-star and without one they just don’t have a chance.
They have DeRozan and Lavine, I think they can be consider as a mega star in their own right. DeRozan was even in the discussion for an MVP early in the season. Unfortunately, the Bulls suffered a lot of games as the regular season ends.

In other news ..What a game between the Nets and the Celtics! This should be one hell of a series.
Yep, this could go down in a 7 game series. KD and Kyrie Irving will not go down without a fight. Durant has a sub par performance in game 1, horrendous shooting night for him. But we all know that superstars will continue to shoot no matter what the numbers is against them until they found their shooting form.
