Coming into this match the team winning the toss will choose batting.
Australia won the toss and elected to bat as expected. Rishabh Pant is back to drop some catches as a wicket keeper and the surprising change is the inclusion of Washington Sundar and Australia is also having a change as Marcus Harris is replacing the injured Will Pucovski.

The match depends upon how Natarajan, Saini, Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar bowls as they are completely new faces and i am curious how they will perform.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 14, 2021, 11:18:43 PM
I am watching Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy's matches. And after watching the performances of the teams I will start betting here. Today two matches are being held Rajsthan vs Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai vs Kerala. Rajasthan team gave a short target of 149 runs to Madhya Pradesh. But Madhya Pradesh lost 6 wickets for just 63 runs. It looks like Rajasthan will win the match easily.
Usually in the past Kerala was a weak team and this is the first team they defeated Mumbai in a match in the history of domestic cricket and there are pretty easy picks in these tournaments, i am yet to watch the rest of the matches but the picks are pretty easy for some matches.

Some phenomenal batting display by Azhar who is just seeing cricket ball as if its football with 102 not out in just 40 balls with 8 sixes.
First time Azhar is performing like this in the big stage even though i have heard about him and it was the first century scored in T20 from a Kerala player.

Damm! if this was an international tournament and then this would have become a record. I did some search on Google and found that AB De Villiers holds a record of the fastest century which was in just 31 balls against the West Indies in 2015.
In domestic T20 especially in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Rishabh Pant holds the record for scoring the fastest century in 31 balls.
2503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could ether hit 100k? on: January 14, 2021, 10:49:29 PM
Is it possible for ethereum to be worth 11 trillion in the future?
The price of ETH is around $1180 and to become a eleven trillion market you need to attract huge institutional investors investing solely on ETH for the next few years if you want to see those valuation and with a coin with plenty of coins in circulation and more to come it is possible to reach hundred billion in the near future if the price keeps on increasing but to reach a trillion dollar you need to see some crazy rally which is highly unlikely in the next decade  Tongue.
2504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying on: January 14, 2021, 01:16:33 PM
The average person today sees bitcoin as an investment. Are we really turing this Cryptocurrency into a Crypto Asset?!
This is not a new phenomena that started today, once the scaling talks started a few years ago before the last rally people started considering BTCitcoin as an asset rather than a currency. It depends upon the investor what mode you want this to be, you can use this as an asset or you can spend according to your choice.

A way of making more money due to the price speculation. With every new investor believing this, I hate to say this but, Bitcoin is dying. I know that the chances of Bitcoin's price dropping so bad are small. But if it happens, if it ever happens, a lot of people will lose, a lot will pull out, a lot will tag us scam, a lot will (out of anger) say that we are centralized, and a lot would never know or participate in the real use of Bitcoin. We need to figure this out before it becomes too late.
Have you seen the last two rallies and how a correction wiped off billions once the bear market is settled. It is nothing new in the market to get the tag, it is called a Tulip mania multiple times and how many times people would tag the same headline. It is a speculative market and you will see major corrections and it will continue to move forward.

Yes I agree with you and I think this is the sole reason why even the selectors have selected him in the team. Obviously his bowling is considered pretty similar to that of Bumrah but I feel Bumrah's short run up and slinging action was the reason for his success too nevertheless test cricket is not like T20 cricket it always rewards the bowler who is best with his line and length.
The success of Jasprit Bumrah is his line and length and his control and Natarajan showed his control with his line and length in the T20 format and until you give the bowlers a chance to perform in the longer format you never know whether he will be successful. The difference between Test and the rest of the format is the endurance and stamina in the longer format and you need a smart captain to understand the weakness of a bowler and never burn them out.

Not sure about the Indian line up, reports are coming out that Cheteshwar Pujara injured his hand during net session and considering this to be a fast bowling friendly wicket it is going to be a difficult task for India.
2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 13, 2021, 04:04:57 PM
Anyone watching Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy domestic matches, i started watching because Kerala have a very good team with Sanju Samson leading the team and Robin Uthappa opening and Sreesanth making a come back after seven years. Today they are facing Mumbai and they are chasing a target of 197 runs and they had a good start and might even win the match. Watch out the name Mohammed Azharuddeen the Kerala opener who is smashing the Mumbai bowlers and he will be in the next IPL Kiss.

EDIT:
Kerala just need 46 runs in 56 balls and Mohammed Azharuddeen scored a century in 37 balls.
2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 12, 2021, 11:43:22 PM
There is a huge lot of fans who want to see Natrajan personally i am not a big fan of him in test format. I think he is more of a short format bowler because his quality is variation. Test cricket is better for bowlers having consistency in their bowling. But let's see if he can perform. With Sharadul and Ashwin team looks pretty good. But I am surely missing the A-team players: no Virat, no Bumrah, no Jadeja, No Vihari, No Umesh, No Shami.
If you remember Jasprit Bumrah had the same tag, it took a while and some injuries in the squad for him to get a chance in the team and everyone was critical that Jasprit Bumrah would fail in the Test format as he is just a short format bowler and now everyone is praising as he is the best bowler in the world across all formats. What i like about Natarajan is his control over his line and length and that is more than enough to be successful in any format.

Mayank is also injured during net session.. they are waiting for his scan. Indian squad turning into meme now.
Not sure what is going on, Ashwin is injured, literally everyone in the team has some sort of injury Cheesy.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 11, 2021, 06:34:02 AM
10 overs remaining in the day and hopefully India could draw the match from this situation. Hanuma Vihari is playing a long innings to save the match and the commentators are telling that he is also injured not sure about that, if he is also injured what will be the team composition in the next match. Ravichandran Ashwin is playing his part and now Paine dropped a catch and India needs some luck as well to survive these last few overs.

The funny aspect is that Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari are communicating in Tamil and the Aussie players are trying their best to irritate them as well and a word battle is also going on in this match  Cheesy.
2509  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump bans Alipay and seven other Chinese apps on: January 10, 2021, 09:13:48 PM
Not certain how long these bans will remain in effect. Biden could overturn these executive orders the second he assumes office?
Perhaps this could influence china into taking a less harsh stance on crypto exchanges and mining in the country. If Trump bans all of china's fiat apps then bitcoin and crypto would be the only things they had left?
India already banned over 50 Chinese application in the past few months and it was expected other countries to follow suit because the reason they said about the ban is security reasons. To be frank taking strict action on cryptocurrency exchanges will not help anyone as the business is run by their citizen which will help in providing more jobs and the crypto space has nothing to do with any specific country.

2510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Confession: After 5 years of hodling, I finally sold on: January 10, 2021, 08:17:38 PM
Anyway, good job sir, keep on hodling. I sold all my unnecessary shitcoins to get more bitcoin 2 years ago. Smiley
That means did you sell your alts at a loss, i am yet to convert some of the alt coins i am holding as i am looking for the perfect market to drop everything and i am not sure whether this is the right moment to hold everything in BTCitcoin, i might hold in my local currency valuation in the exchange till the next correction and will enter once again till the bull cycle starts again.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 10, 2021, 07:37:38 PM
Two of the most experienced batsmen are at the crease now (Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane) and if one of them gets out early, then it will be easy for the Australians to wrap up the Indian innings. And also, on the paper India is only down by two wickets. But actually they are down by three, as Ravindra Jadeja has dislocated his left thumb and may not be able to bat. Rishabh Pant also looks doubtful, due to elbow injury.
It is a tough task even for Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane to bat the entire day and India does not have the middle order strength to bat the entire day if there is a fall of wicket and Ravindra Jadeja will not come out to bat and Rishabh Pant injured his elbow and he did not field the entire day and even if he comes out to bat it will not make much of a difference as the Australian fast bowlers will pepper with short balls knowing he is injured.
2512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor goes nuts: he predicts a $15 million Bitcoin price. on: January 10, 2021, 04:44:31 PM
This is full wishful thinking on his side. A quick Google search shows that his company, Microstrategy, owns 70,470 bitcoins. If you multiply this by 15 million, you get the value of 1 trillion dollars. So this is precisely the value that would make his bitcoins worth 1 trillion, which he then proceeds to rationalize (i.e. try to find a rational explanation to come to that).
This is exactly the reason for these speculation, you will find many investors having their predictions with insane amounts and those are nothing but wishful thinking and throwing out a value so that other investors will start investing even if the price crosses a certain valuation thinking that the market goes higher and these big investors will book their profit when the market shows any signs of weakness while the small investors who dreams about further rally gets stuck.
2513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How the Alt season will pan out on: January 10, 2021, 02:05:58 PM
Yes, almost everyone expects a new Altcoin season to happen in the near future, but so far it hasn't happened yet, especially if it could trigger a new breakthrough in crypto, of course it will be very interesting to wait for.
Just take a look at the entire market and tell whether the market is rallying, the entire alts are rallying and most of the coins rallied around 30% to 60% in the last one month alone and i would consider that as an alt coin season because some of the coins have risen well above my expectation especially BCH and BSV and XRP is still rallying even with the lawsuit.

Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne should bat for a long time and with the slippery hands of the Indian fielders it is possible that they will get a good lead and put India to bat and with Jadeja injured they will have one bowler short in the match and Pant is not the wicket keeper and it is doubtful whether he will come out to bat, so it looks like Australia just needs to pick 8 wickets to win the Test.
Marnus Labuschagne was dropped by Hanuma Vihari in the second ball of the day and they will take advantage of these missed chances and convert to big innings, India needs to improve the catching as they are missing many catches every match and they need to change the fielding coach as you cannot win matches dropping these catches. Pant might come out to bat but not sure about Jadeja as he injured his thumb and he is out of the series.
2515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Accumalation of USDT before USDT bull run on: January 09, 2021, 07:27:17 PM
Now its great time to accumulate USDT before usdt bull run its been predicted. 5$ per usdt in 2-4 years time...
Also its good hedge against inflation
Hope you are aware of the controversies before considering to invest in them for the long term. It has a market capital of around $24 billion and just recently minted 400 million USDT and i wont be surprised if SEC swings into action and shut the Tether market altogether. So think twice before making any hasty decisions and do not be surprised if you see the demise of the coin in the next 2 to 4 years  Tongue.
2516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 09, 2021, 06:03:22 PM
Haha don't know what's happening here.

---
We might see 1 more debutant in Brisbane, may be Thakur or Natarajan. Every one will get a chance in this series... Sabko mauka milega Grin Grin
I had a feeling about more injuries and now Pant and Jadeja is injured. It is good for the team that Pant is injured as he will single handedly drop multiple crucial catches and it is better he sits out  Cheesy but the loss of Jadeja will hurt the team and now all the players are used in the series and India cannot send anymore replacement because of the quarantine situation and this is by far the most players injured during a series as far as i remember.
2517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be too happy on: January 09, 2021, 02:20:08 PM
Do not be too happy that big and giant companies are entering the field…
Because they set the price up and down whenever they want…
The smart plot is always investing when the price is on a correction phase and if you are looking for profit then you really do not care about who is investing to pump the price and institutional investment is nothing new, they will always find good investment opportunities and invest heavily and that is their modus operandi and we knew that the price would rally after halving and if you invested well before that you could reap the profit which is not possible in any other financial market.
2518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 08, 2021, 11:27:02 PM
The Australian middle has let the team down once again. I can't remember that last time Australia had such a poor middle order performance in a test series as they have always had a good strong middle order so I think there needs to be changes.
When was the last time Australia was struggling to find the perfect openers, just when Hayden and Langer retired, they never had a long pair along with Warner and when the big names like Michael Clarke and Michael Hussey retired they were not able to find a suitable replacement in the middle order and every series they are experimenting with new players and they are still searching for those talents.

In last year we have no some good number of matches due to Covid-19 but good thing still many players done good job for their countries and Hafeez was leading runs scorer in this format and KLRahul from India was second https://www.mykhel.com/cricket/most-runs-in-t20-2020-rs66/
Babar Azam is the highest run scorer in T20 in 2020, he did not play much T20 International matches but he is leading the pack from the rest of the players by a long margin. If you are taking T20 Internationals then Mohammad Hafeez and KL Rahul are the top run scorers.

Here is the list.
https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/batting/most_runs_career.html?class=6;id=2020;type=year

PSL doesn't have the same level of competition, compared to the leagues such as IPL and BBL. But still, Babar did well during PSL 2020. In my opinion, he deserved a slot on the XI from the ICC. The only reason I can find is that Babar made his T20I/Test debut by the end of 2016. So he has only three playing years in the decade. That may be the main reason why ICC ignored him for the XI.
Babar Azam averaged 55.20 in T20 Internationals in 8 matches in 2020 and he is the leading run scorer in all of T20 played in 2020 and i am not sure why he was ignored from the ICC playing XI.
2520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 08, 2021, 06:34:24 PM
It is extremely a good performance (btc trending at $24345, as at the time of writing this post ) no doubts for the first crypto, and it amazed me that BTC keep creating new cryptocurrecy records in December 2020, a proof that more institutional investors has fully reorganized the bitcoins/altcoins technology/development.
I had to refresh my page multiple times to see whether you said about a valuation of $24345 as i am having a few drinks as the market moved away from those valuation a few days back and now the price of BTCitcoin is around $40,110  Cheesy. I would say that institutional investors have identified the cryptocurrency market as an opportunity to make quick profit and hence they are investing billions and you need to understand that once they start booking the profit the price would dump like we have never seen before.
