Is there any coin out there that is easily mined solo? What sort of hardware requirements should you have in order to actually be able to mine solo successfully.
there are a bunch of new coin that you can solo mine but they have no volume or exchange, they are zillioncoin, intensecoin, and virta unique coin |

Coins a joke to mine, half a day for 2 coins with 4 x 1060's. Would take a lifetime to get a MN. Post your address if you want my 2 coins not worth sh*t to me....

don't hold your breath too much with some math you can see that this will not be very profitable, the reward is too low, and the diff is too high, and ivnestors don't like to ivnest in a coin that need to have initially a very high value, so if this don't start from 100k satoshi is a shit profit |

Since the source code of Geth is public domain, what about doing a version of ETH without the bloody miners.
If ETH want to become a maintream currency, why keeping mining? Mining is meant to mimic the GOLD currency, having miners and limited supply.
But if you want to do something that compete with the USD you need to mine on demand, like the banks are doing. When a node is necessary, you create it, then the supply always matches the demand, transactions can be done instantly without waiting a block, without paying expensive gas. That would work as a replacement currency for every day use.
And also why everyone need to download full node? Wallets should only download the latests transactions (1 week for example). Then people who want to contribute to the currency could host part of the full node (nobody could host all, to avoid what is happening with BTC and BCC). Gas would be used to reward these stockages wallet that would be like the pillars of the currency and they would make money by storing part of the complete transaction, without being about to store more than 10%.
What do you think about these idea?
i don't like pos coins, because they don't offer solution for investors, i mena investors will only buy early because of the pos reward, granted that the pos of eth will work like a standard pois and not like decred, you have that after the initial euphoria the investors will not buy anymore and begin to dump, pos coin never go anywhere, some of them are just surrounded by luck and rise for no reason lol |

there are tool that let you create any altcoin, with easy just with few click, there was also a website in the past called coingeneration or something, or maybe learn some c++ and do a copy paste of github from bitcoin source code

there is no need to help anyone it's very simple, just download both core wallet, and sync the blockchain, when you finished with this transfer your bitcoin to another wallet you ahve previously created, and import the privatekey with the right command to the other bitcoin cash core client, you have now your bitcoin cash 1:1

Hello everyone, I feel very late to the party with BTC. I have know of it for a couple of years but ignored it. Now I'm super sold and ready to buy my first coin. $4k is huge but not impossible for me. At what price do you feel its too late to own 1 full BTC for the average person? I'm not interested in owning micro or milli coins. How much time do we have left until its becomes proper main strain? Can someone tell me where we are on this chart please?  you can buy less bitcoin, so your question look a bit silly lol, but if you mean only to buy a whole bitcoin and not fraction i guess that already now average joe have an hard time entering this market |

Everything works okay for me. Right now:  Yesterday there were some delays on the network, but I continued to mine, and as far as I can see all the shares accepted have been paid out to me (todays payouts increased 2x-3x compared to yesterday). So, everything works and every share is being paid. Make no panik! :-) i keep getting connection failed, no matter how many times i try this pool isn't working for me, never mind i see he changed the port this is why it wasn't working |

So from what I understand, the fork from Spreadcoin still hasn't happened? So if we buy Spreadcoin from Bittrex, we may need to send it to a wallet or we may be able to keep it on Bittrex and we will receive 1:1 Helium coin?

Yes, you are right..... In order to get HLM after the snapshot, you will need to buy SPR on Bittrex and hold it during the snapshot. There is no ICO, everyone who has SPR during the snapshot is eligible for equal amount of HLM. You will end up with SPR and HLM, it is not really a swap... when the snapshot is supposed to take place? they said 1 September because they pushed it back from 1 august is syill this the new date? |

It has been said already but the staking rewards are great. I really think 1000-2000 sats for this coin will be cheap. $2,5 mil marketcap? Could be $30 mil easy  yeah right the good value for this one for me is 10k satoshi at least, no less than this, but it could also be way higher like 30k satoshi, if they add masternodes to keep the pos going after the hard cap |

well profitability is made by miner, in the sense that if they can't get enough money for their activity it's not profitable, instead real value made by investors, which invest and create demand for the coins, investors are fooled by their own speculation lol
