I would love to see our old boys start the game first by seeing Thomas Tuchel use this players in the defense line Ben Chilwell, James , Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva then later the new players can come in as substitute. Remember this is our first season's game and all we need to see in today's match is winning in order to be in the same ground with the top teams , Therefore I really don't want to see Tuchel start doing experiment today with this our very first game, so let him first of all start with the players he knows their strength and performance very well and get us win in this game to give players confidence and fan hope for the season.
Experiment? No buddy, Cucurella was Brighton best player last season after just one season in the team and Koulibaly isn't an experiment they're top players and aren't just some average players been over hyped by media. Your formation is a four man defense and we play our worst football when playing that formation. Beside did you watch Chilwell in the preseason games. Did you know Chilwell had the worst injury in his career that took him out for the reminder of last season after just playing few games. With Koulibaly, Silva and Azpilicueta, Thomas Tuchel will be playing the most experience defense in the league. There's a reason behind buying Koulibaly, he was bought to strengthen the defense so it'll be foolish of Thomas to bench him when we don't have any better option. |

On the other hand, when face Udinese, a three-defence formation looked more efficient when Tuchel combine Koulibaly, Silva and Azpilicueta in the Chelsea defence. I'll be looking forward to how Thomas Tuchel will put his defense against Everton.
Chelsea defender is more concentrated and play better when in a three man defence then the four man defense and I think Thomas Tuchel should have realized that by now. He has to play Koulibaly, Silva and Azpilicueta in the defense with James and Cucurella in the wingback. I understand that some Chelsea fans would want Chilwell to start but he isn't fit for a game like this. The season is just starting and Everton has always been a tough opponent for us so we don't have to leave any loophole. Probably Chilwell can come in, in the second half when we have the game sealed already. A debut for sterling and Cucurella would strengthen the team and we can easily get three points from this game and prepare for the next while we try to get a striker before the window ends. |

So if u never hear, for the past 4-5 weeks PH dey on fire oh massive arrest of young guys between 16 to 30 yrs dey ongoing and no how you go tell me say all of them dey guilty, personally self I fit count how many nights I dun sleep for my house since July. No be say I dey guilty but if them get information come your house see you and you be young guy with expensive lifestyle na money matta before you come out even though you no dey guilty and I dey avoid careless expenses this days. I understand say na Intel dem dey carry move and we know how this business be, e require you to spend enough time for house as na your hustle be this and people wey no understand go think say you dey press since you no dey comot house go work and you dey very alright I come be young guy too (double wahala) 😂😂😂

Who is your Best Premier league player of all time, also who will be included in your top 3 spots? Lets have some fun discussion, the premier league officially is back as the first match of the 2022/2023 season will be played today. In celebration of this return, can we have some construction discussion on who were your best African players to have played in the premier league and just to make it easier you could also give us your top 3 pick as for some individual chosing just one will be very difficult. I'll go first, Didier Drogba for me is the greatest African player that even play in the premier league. It doesn't matter if all his records get broken but he still remains my best African player in the EPL. I grew up watching him play and he also played for my child hood club Chelsea. Drogba scored 157 goals in 341 match but it wasn't all about his goals, he's involvement at key point when Chelsea needed him the most is what make me put him above others. My top 3 are 1: Didier Drogba 2: Yaya Toure & 3: Mohamed Salah. What's yours?

Given the performances of all the last years by Liverpool and Manchester City, I simply don't see any other team in the position to win the title. Even Chelsea has trouble to keep up their level of play over a whole season. 93 and 92 points, respectively, are just too much even for Chelsea.
The only reason it was difficult for Chelsea was because we didn't have backups for our wingbacks which we relay on for our creativity. We lost Chilwell and James to injuries at the same period yet we still end up third now imagine what would had happened if we had this guys fit throughout the season. If you watch us play without them then you would had understand how vital they were to us. This season we have James fit and now have backup for Chilwell who hasn't recovered fully. For Manchester City and Liverpool, don't forget the fact they have lost some key players and it won't be that easy for the new guys to fill their shoes. The title is for Chelsea this season or neither Manchester City or Liverpool wins it. Other teams has gotten reinforcement and can go head to head with the top two clubs. Chelsea for a fact is going to be very impressive this season with the defense sorted out and more signings coming through the window. |

Chilwell is clearly worried about Cucurella because his position as a main player will be threatened, but who will fill the first squad is up to Tuchel as their coach.
Chilwell isn't worried, infact he's happy knowing he'll be given more time to relax and recover properly. Chilwell was looking very rusty in the preseason games as it was showing that he hasn't recovered fully. Cucurella can play as a LB and LWB meaning both him and Chilwell can play together so there shouldn't be a competition there. Thomas Tuchel is very happy with the signing of cucurella as he will fit his formation properly and better than the Alonso flop. Although the premier league starts today but the transfer market doesn't end until September meaning Chelsea still has time to sign a striker which is the only sector we don't have someone to relay on yet. Rumors has it that Aubameyang could be on his way to the bridge and it seems Thomas Tuchel welcomes the idea to reunit with his former striker. Hopefully we can get him to sign the papers to come become a blue. |

I think this season in the premier League will be filled with lot of goals, because of the quality strikers that have joined,am talking about Darwin Nunes and Eirling Haaland, let's also mention Gabriel Jesus because now he has gone to arsenal he will be starting every game and he has creative players there, there is also Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane and Son let's not forget Christiano Ronaldo because he scored 18 goals last season in a season Manchester United underperformed, so my question is who do we think we win the golden boot. I will go for Harry Kane my opinion though.
Harry Kane can't win when Mo Salah has been handled a new contract and man would want to prove that he deserves to earn that much he's been payed at Liverpool. Lets not forget, Liverpool broke their wages structure to make Salah happy and when salah is happy, he score goals. The new guys also will want to prove a point as they try to score goals to justify their move to the new club so the Liverpool striker and Manchester striker shoudn't be underestimated. I understand that a new season at a new club is always difficult to adjust but both clubs has great goal scoring chance creators as such the strikers will be in good position to score goals. Gabriel Jesus can't do it alone at Arsenal, he'll be overused at such can't keep up with the other players that'll have assistances from their squad depth. Players I think will be in the running for the awards of top scorer in the premier league are Haaland of Manchester city, Mo Salah of Liverpool and if Ronaldo is happy at Manchester united then he'll get a shot at it too. |

After the Rivers United players won the league I was so surprised to see the news of what the governor of the state gave to them without the media exposing the amount that was given to the entire team by the head sponsors Eunisel Limited.
Don't be surprised, who do you think owns the media house or are big Vc"s that are investing in this media houses. It's still the government as such they're obligated to report stories that make them look good. A good gesture by a private company won't be televised as that coming from a government official, don't forget we're closed to the election period so any publicity they can get now is highly capitalized on. Also I don't think the sponsorship gifts was as big or would be as big as that coming from the government. This government officials know how to throw money at this players to make themselves look good. Also the gifts by the government was personal gifts as such the players will receive it but that of sponsorship would be general. |
