1661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in my opinion don't buy crypto at high prices on: February 16, 2023, 05:42:18 PM
and I have advice for beginners, don't buy crypto at high prices, so buy at low prices. so that we have maximum profit. so when the price is bear we have to use this opportunity so that we can get maximum profit in the future,
so don't panic when the price is high to buy, and don't panic to sell when our coin drops in price.
and have the courage to buy when the price is down.

Just because a coins is low in price doesn't mean it's the perfect opportunity for buying and just because a coin is high in value shoudn't discourage you from purchasing it. What matters most in the industry is the supply of a project (preferably the circulating supply). As you can see with Bitcoin, Bitcoin only has 21 million coins that can ever exist and enter the market so it doesn't matter if it's been priced at $100k or above, it's still cheap as the price is designed to keep on appreciating as the demand increases.

Also buying a coin that is down can be very danger especially when they aren't Bitcoin as there's no guarantee of the coin recovering with the general market which is why people tend to wait for the trend to turn bullish then fomo into the market. Nobody would want to but at the highs, everyone you see will always want to get the coins at their bottoms but with cryptocurency, you can never be too sure which price is the bottom therefore the best advice for investing has always been to dollar cost average instead of investing one time.
1662  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ways To Earn Passive Income In Nigeria With Ethereum, which one have you tried? on: February 16, 2023, 05:23:27 PM
This is an interesting list, Ethereum "Bitcoin's younger brother" is doing well. I could remember sometime ago in Nigeria, when Nigerians earned Ethereum through the Forsage. Note that Forsage was not a Nigerian start-up but na be put body pass. For those who do no know what Forsage is -  it was a fraudulent pyramid scheme launched on a massive scale and aggressively marketed to investors. In our local parlance it is bring 2 persons. Well, I know about 4young Nigerians that earned closed to 10000Eths in total just through this scheme. They cashed out big time. Although not specifically mentioned, multilevel marketing is one way people earn ed passive income in Nigeria some years ago.

Please I am not a fan of ponzi schemes neither do I participate in it.

Ponzi schemes are never an option when it comes to passive income. Irrespective of how lucrative it's for you, do note that you're ripping another man to get that bread whenever you're been paid. Ponzi follow for wetin increase the interest of Nigerians for cryptocurency and that's why many still think cryptocurency entirely na Ponzi and dem dey fear say e go crash like them ponzi schemes dem crash.

Ponzi scheme should never be a part of passive income options and most multilevel marketing businesses aren't truely what they claim to be. We dun run ponzi that year and we understand how the thing be. Infact most Altcoins wey dey market now na Ponzi like project dem be. E get one coin wey be dey top 20 for coin market cap dat year and na Ponzi e been be. The coin name was bitconnect but e dun crash now and na the fate of all Ponzi scheme be dat. If you wan earn, commot ponzi for mind as plenty other legitimately ways dey for the passive income business.
1663  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ways To Earn Passive Income In Nigeria With Ethereum, which one have you tried? on: February 16, 2023, 09:48:06 AM
In di forum and beyond, except bitcoin I have no idea in any oda cryptocurrency. So I even wan 2 learn odas but no platform which I can learn like btt. So I will want Brainboss to conduct training on oda Cryptocurrencies either WhatsApp of telegram. So dose who dey interested go go there dey know more on odas.

You dun ask yourself if me myself I understand the other cryptocurency, I mean them dey in their thousands so it's unreal say person go sabi all but if you ask me I go tell you, focus on accumulating Bitcoin and you no go regret am. Now as you dey accumulate bitcoin just dey put head for the other cryptocurrency and take note of those wey you go look into. You see layer 1's (that's crypto that other crypto depends on their blockchain for operation) like dem Ethereum, BNB etc just dey observe them as those are good project for getting some good profits in bull markets. Also YouTube na your friends to understand the whole market but make sure say person wey you dey listen to dey really wan teach you and not selling some courses or shilling a project to you.

If that the writer is specifically saying about BTC it would have been a different thing join all their target was only centered on ETH there's no much expansion, do we talks about NFTs?
To me is the last thing I could ever do to venture into a merely piece of art works why not I spend all my money buying more bitcoin and hold since is more secure, reliable and even trusted. Btw where do we stake ETH on a Centralized Exchange where there's no assurance of your funds or what. You still remember the slogan here.. Not your key not your coin.

Again as I talk most of this means of earnings in the industry na just rubbish and the safest option in the market na to buy Bitcoin and hold but if you wan engage in the industry you can try some of the other stuffs out with only spare funds. Them no be totally rubbish as people dey talk but understand say you go probably lose your money than to profits. Also since most of this trends dey very new, scammers dey take advantage of am dey defraud people on a steady so it's best to stay away from them.
1664  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Dear Nigerian youths dont let politicians use you as a tool for violence on: February 16, 2023, 09:35:05 AM
The number of jobless youths don reduce because of internet money like tech jobs, programming, sales, forex and crypto trading. The youths now don dey see money, all those 20k way politicians they rub for their face no go fit work again this time.

What are you saying, where we reduced go? You know how many graduates university they vomit on a yearly. What about if you come add polytechnic and other schools that produces graduates. Nothing dun happened when you check the percentage of those having something to do compared with the greater masses. Just because 1/2 person dey chop no mean say e dey reduced anything. Infact if we want talk of wetin dey reduced the crimes wey we dey see for street before like cultism, stealing etc is because boys dun leave local street enta foreign street via yahoo.

Wetin go reduced vote buying this time around or youths engaging in criminal activities for the politicians is enlightenment. The Nigerian youths are getting enlightening on a steady and small small boys dun dey wise up. Hunger still dey the land oh but boys dun understand say a better government is better than getting handouts wey dem dey take from the politicians. Sha na small small, we go get am right one day.

1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 16, 2023, 04:45:28 AM
Never thought that Arsenal's position would be taken over by any team including City, but last night's big game finally really put Arsenal down, even though Arsenal still have 1 game yet to play but it's not easy for them to be able to take over City's position because of their struggle the more severe, the defeat to Everton and also the draw against Brentford was the key to why Arsenal could finally drop to second place. Arteta must be able to make his squad win all the remaining matches if they don't want their chances to shrink.

How can you think that when this same Arsenal team were in a comfortable position last season to finish in the top 4 position to secure them a slot at champions league football while having few outstanding games but they threw that chance away. Arsenal has also lead the table for other seasons and still not lift the trophy. Arsenal doesn't have a squad depth of a team wanting to win the premier league and the players they settle for are Chelsea rejects. Who signs a player like jorginho if he want to attack when all he does is slow down the pace of games.

Arsenal lost today came from one defensive error that lead to that Kevin De Bruyne goal that was a beauty to watch although arsenal were no match for Manchester city from the start of the game. After that Debruyne goal I knew the game was Manchester city's for the taken as the likes of Haaland was yet to score and he does that effortlessly in small games like this. Haaland only ghost against big sides like Manchester united, Chelsea etc.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 04:31:23 AM
Chelsea gets more opportunities than Dortmund. Chelsea also has more ball possession than Dortmund. but Dortmund has 1 goal to make them win.
Chelsea played badly by wasting so many chances. even they are also playing badly in the League. Of course, the club must know how this can continue. even after bringing in several players in the transfer market. they did not put up a better game.

I won't say Chelsea played badly instead they were just unlucky. The first 20muns if the game was just Dortmund putties the Chelsea defense under pressure and they were able to absorb that and gained some mometjobit weren't luck encourage to gat a goal. Félix had his chances to put Chelsea at the lead but couldn't convert the chances on numerous occasions even the best chance were he hit the bar. The first half ended in favor of Chelsea in regards to ball possession and attempts at goals so I won't say the boys played badly.

Where the coach got his tactic wrong was him still keeping the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Loftus-Cheek in the game when they had no impact especially in the second half of the game. He should have done the substitution on time so the new guys coming in will have more time to chance the game. Him keeping Mudryk up to the minute he kept him in the game was a poor decision considering the poor game he was having. Didn't he see the impact Mason Mount brought into the game when he was substituted on. I think this round isn't over yet, 1:0 isn't a safe scoreline for Dortmund.
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 16, 2023, 04:20:16 AM
pl club manchester united is reportedly interested in signing english striker Tammy Abraham
after scoring 27 goals in 53 games for as roma last season, the 25-yo has scored just seven times in 29 games this season at italian serie a

I don't think Tammy Abraham is ready to return to the premier league yet and he shouldn't be making the same mistakes he made when he returned from the championship when he wasn't fully developed as a striker under Frank lampard at Chelsea. Tammy Abraham should continue developing under José Mourinho at As Roma, José Mourinho is good with developing African striker (see what he did with Drogba) so Tammy Abraham should continue working under him for now until he has gotten this full potential then he can return and still it shouldn't be Manchester united he should be moving to as that club has one of the most racist fans that hardly gives black players a chances of succeeding.

See them praising Rashford for scoring merely 12 goals in 23 games this season and calling it that he's on the form of his life. They won't do the same if it was Tammy Abraham in that situation. If Tammy Abraham is that desperate to return to the premier league then he should go play for a smaller club that he won't be under much pressure to deliver game in, game out or become a second striker at his former club Chelsea where he'll be loved and given time to ad he's one of us from the academy.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current Topic: African players excellence. on: February 16, 2023, 04:02:52 AM
Now it's safe to say the best footballing nation in Africa is Senegal and it's a well deserved accomplishments. Let see what they'll do in the next AFCON coming up.
It will be difficult for Senegal to win the next AFCON. Personally I feel if Victor Osimhen can remain in form, he can really a big influence to the super eagles. Currently Victor Osimhen is world class and currently on the same level with the likes of Halaand, Rashford and even Mbappe, but I still cannot wrap my head around why the Media isn't selling Victor Osimhen who has scored in almost every game he has played for Napoli and is currently their most valuable player. If his form continues, he can be the differences for the super eagles.
I don’t think the possibility of Senegal winning the next AFCON depends on Victor Osimhen or the performance of the super eagles. I don't even think the Super eagles are in a good position to win the AFCON even now. A lot needs to be done, they need to put in much hard work to achieve this not just the personal brilliance of Victor Osimhen in the next AFCON games.

I have to agree with you on this one, the super eagles are far from been capable of winning the next AFCON. We don't have a team yet and just a striker can't win you tournaments. What happens when the striker gets injuried or when the teams are meant to defend. I believe in defense winning you tournaments more than attackers. One good thing the Super eagles has at the movement is the quality lines of attackers been produced. I think we have about 3-5 very active strikers that are doing it big in their different league at the moment.

While we keep dreaming about winning the next AFCON anyone noticed how good the Nigeria strikers are playing of recent and not just Victor Osimhen. Few days ago, Victor Osimhen broke Cristiano Ronaldo's record for the second most highest jump in Serie A with a height of 258 cm. Fikayo Tomori who's also a Nigerian is the player with the record for the highest height while Victor Osimhen is now the second while Ronaldo holds the third position. Victor Osimhen is just on a quest to conquer all aspects of striking. He has 17 goals on 18 matches this season and he seems not to be slowing down. Other Nigerian strikers are doing good numbers as well.

Ways To Earn Passive Income In Nigeria With Ethereum
Credit: https://businesspost.ng/economy/11-ways-to-make-money-with-ethereum-in-nigeria/amp/

1.      Trading Ethereum:
One of the most straightforward ways to make money with Ethereum is trading. The basic idea is to buy low and sell high. You’ll need to find a reputable crypto exchange that supports Ethereum., and create an account. From there, you can buy Ethereum using Nigerian Naira (NGN) or another cryptocurrency and hold onto it until you think the price will go up. Then, you can sell it for a profit.

Keep in mind that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile, and prices can change quickly. It’s important to understand market trends and do your research before making any trades. Consider using stop-loss orders to minimise your risk and protect your investment.

To get the most out of your investment, you must sell your Ethereum on the best crypto trading platform, Breet app. Breet is an OTC crypto trading app in Nigeria where you can convert Ethereum to Naira and withdraw your funds directly to your Naira bank account within seconds for no extra charge. Get started by downloading Breet today, and enjoy a seamless trading experience.

2.      Staking Ethereum:
Staking is another way to make money with Ethereum, and it’s a lot less risky than trading. Staking means holding onto your Ethereum and helping to secure the network by participating in consensus. In return, you’ll earn rewards in the form of new Ethereum. The more Ethereum you stake, the more you’ll earn.

To start staking, you’ll need a minimum amount of Ethereum in a wallet that supports staking. You can choose a staking provider or use a decentralised platform like Rocket Pool or Stakefish. Staking is an excellent option if you’re looking for long-term investment and passive income.

3. Participating in decentralised Finance (DeFi):
Decentralised finance, or DeFi, is a growing sector of the Ethereum ecosystem that allows you to earn interest and yield on your Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. DeFi protocols like Aave, Compound and Yearn Finance allow you to deposit your Ethereum and earn interest, similar to a savings account. You can also earn yield by providing liquidity to DeFi exchanges, such as Uniswap or Balancer.

DeFi is a high-risk, high-reward opportunity, so it’s essential to do your research and understand the risks involved. Make sure to only invest what you can afford to lose and consider using stop-loss orders to protect your investment.

4.      Crypto Lending:
Crypto lending is another way to earn passive income with Ethereum. You can lend your Ethereum to borrowers and earn interest on your loan. This can be a great option if you have a large amount of Ethereum that you don’t need to sell right away.

Several platforms offer crypto lending services, such as Nexo, BlockFi, and Celsius. Keep in mind that crypto lending is a relatively new and untested market, so it’s essential to do your research and understand the risks involved.

5.      Mining Ethereum:
Mining is the process of creating new Ethereum by solving complex mathematical problems. The more computing power you have, the more Ethereum you can mine. You’ll need to set up a mining rig, which can be an expensive investment, but the rewards can be substantial.

Keep in mind that mining is a highly competitive field, and the cost of electricity and hardware can be significant. You’ll need to do a cost-benefit analysis to determine if mining is a good investment for you.

6.      Participating in Ethereum-based prediction markets:
Ethereum-based prediction markets, such as Augur and Gnosis, allow you to bet on the outcome of events and earn rewards based on your accuracy. You can participate in prediction markets by creating a market, placing bets, and earning rewards based on the outcome. This is a great option if you have knowledge or expertise in a particular field or market.

7.      Creating NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens):
NFTs are unique digital assets that can be bought, sold, and traded on the Ethereum blockchain. If you’re an artist, musician or have another creative talent, you can monetise your work by creating NFTs. You can sell your NFTs on platforms like OpenSea, Rarible, or SuperRare.

8.      Earning passive income through yield farming:
Yield farming is a process of earning passive income by depositing Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies in liquidity pools and earning rewards for providing liquidity to decentralised exchanges. This is a high-risk, high-reward opportunity for those familiar with the DeFi space. Several yield farming platforms, such as Binance Smart Chain, allow you to earn rewards for providing liquidity.

9.      Investing in Ethereum-based startups:
Another way to make money with Ethereum is by investing in Ethereum-based startups. This can be a high-risk, high-reward opportunity, as startup investments are generally considered speculative. However, if you do your research and invest in a promising startup, you could see significant returns on your investment.

10. Earning Ethereum through content creation:
If you have a talent for writing, video production, or other forms of content creation, you can earn Ethereum by creating and sharing your content on various platforms. Some platforms allow you to earn rewards in the form of cryptocurrency for creating and sharing valuable content with the community.

11. Earning Ethereum through affiliate marketing:
Finally, you can earn Ethereum through affiliate marketing. This involves promoting products or services and earning commissions for every sale made through your unique affiliate link. Several Ethereum-based affiliate marketing platforms, such as Refersion, allow you to earn Ethereum for your marketing efforts.

Conclusion
In conclusion, there are plenty of ways to make cash with Ethereum in Nigeria. Whether you’re into trading, staking, DeFi, or something else entirely, there’s a way for you to get in on the action. The key is to do your research and understand the risks involved with any investment. But with the right mindset and effort, you can make the most of your Ethereum investment and grow your wealth over time. So, get out there and start exploring the opportunities!

I used to think i was the only who think havertz should be dropped just has he did with mount, havertz is not a natural no.9 and so when you have a natural 9 you shouldn’t use havertz as a 9, you can only use him when there is no 9 available. Havertz will never give the kind of a 9 run and vibes he always just stands and walks like he own chelsea. Fofana gave us a very impressive performance when he came on against fulham and you still leave that kind of a player on the bench? No potter is not the man he doesn’t even have a playing style and he is not demanding, with the kind of players chelsea has he should be winning team like west ham 3 or 4 goals ahead.

Havertz is still benefiting from his champions league goal that he scored two seasons ago to win Chelsea the game against Manchester city to give us that trophy, without that goal I doubt he would had still been playing for Chelsea by this time. You can see his counterpart Timo Werner that I even prefer to him has been sold while he's still here enjoying playing time that he didn't earn. As for Mount and Gallagher, I love the fact that they were benched and now they'll up their game when next they're giving the chance to start. If they don't work on themselves then they should get ready to start looking for a new club in the summer.

We have Kovačić and Loftus-Cheek that can replace them effortlessly while Enzo Fernandez been the power house to replace Kante. Loftus-Cheek really surprised me as I never thought he could play as he did but still he needs to work on his timing and learn to release the ball on time. He cost us a goal in the first few minutes of the first half and that would has given us more tempo while killing the spirit of the West Ham players to win us that game.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 14, 2023, 07:07:58 AM
Moreover, Chelsea only won 2 wins and for Dortmund they won 7 wins, with a result like this it is certain that they will experience failure in the UCL. Chelsea's first leg match must fly to Signal Iduna Park which is Dortmund's home ground. I think this season will be a very difficult season for Graham Potter and all of his players.

How far did Dortmund go last season in the Champions League or the last two, Chelsea were among the teams that played the quarter finals which they defeated the current champions Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu so what's Dortmund home stadium that they can't go and shut all the fans up. I doubt if a team like Dortmund will kick Chelsea out of the tournament irrespective of how poor the squad had been playing lately. Don't act like Chelsea doesn't have the squad to destroy any team they met on their good days. It takes Chelsea to have just one good day to humiliate the Dortmund players.

I'm not disrespecting the Dortmund squad and how good they have been this season but come on, which league are they playing in, can it be compared to the premier league were the teams at the bottom of the league will disgrace the table toppers. Dortmund can only gain a draw form Chelsea visit and then they come to our home they get sent home. I know it's unlikely for Chelsea to win the tournament but it would be disgraceful if we get sent home in the round of 16 by mere Dortmund. There are teams that'll defeat us and we won't be mad but Dortmund isn't one of if them.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 14, 2023, 02:21:36 AM
The fact that they spent 500+ million pounds on transfer and still saying that they are lacking a position is beyond funny to me. If you gave me 500 million pounds today, and gave me a team with zero players in it, I would have built you a team that had at least as much points as Chelsea, who knows maybe even better.

We're in a search of a goal keeper doesn't mean we're urgently in need of one. Don't forget we have about three goal keepers already. Mendy our previous number one has been injuried for quite sometime now and the talks on the renewal of his contract isn't progressing on a positive note which means he's likely to depart in the summer so we're now in search of a replacement for him so we don't fall into the same situation of panic buying like we did in January which clubs take advantage of and increase the value of their players knowing we're desperate and will pay the fee.

Chelsea is undergoing a rebuild with a new owner that wants his own players and not those inherited from the previous owners. Chelsea is a big club in Europe and known to be big spenders so you don't expect them to get their players cheap. The 500+ millions we spent got us about 8+ players and not all are available for the season so when you look at it we didn't over spend. The quality of players that were bought are brilliant so it isn't a wasted investments. We just need a quality coach to get this boys playing well again, Graham Potter isn't giving the vibe the squad needs.

First this champions League Round 16, it won't be an easy one for any team Chelsea Vs Dotmund, Dotmund will progress at the expense of Chelsea based on current form,

Chelsea hasn't been winning games but they haven't been playing badly of recent so don't expect Chelsea to be the underdogs against Dortmund. When we talk about the champions league experience, Chelsea has more than Dortmund so they should be having the upper hand. Also looking at the individual teams, Chelsea has a superior team and form what I see form their recent games, they have finding some chemistry between them and them knowing that the game against Dortmund is a very important games, I think they'll turn up more.

Chelsea last game in the premier league which they played against West Ham, saw Chelsea score 3 goals within 16 minutes of play but two was ruled out for offside. Chelsea now has an attacking force that is capable of scoring goals so that should be able to upset Dortmund plans of progressing to the next stage of the competition.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 11:46:57 PM
After watching Chelsea's last few matches, I think they are quite weak on the counterattack. If the opponent attacks, Chelsea cannot counterattack quickly. And so even if the opponent is not strong, we don't get a better performance than Chelsea. The Chelsea boss should change his match tactics. And Chelsea management should prepare decent funds. They need to strengthen their squad if they want to do well next season. Unless the squad is strong, we will see erratic performances from the Chelsea team next season.

I think Chelsea is too big for Graham Potter to managed, he isn't a big club manager. I was of the opinion of we giving him time but from what I have seen since we had the reinforcement we had in the January transfer window, I think Graham Potter is clueless and just playing with the club. He isn't ready to make decisions that can win games, we aren't a mid table team that should settled for draws, we're bigger than that and the worst is when we're losing or drawing, it seems Graham Potter is okay with such results and that's not the mentally of a manager that should be managing a top club like Chelsea.

I still don't understand why Kai Havertz is still been used as our striker when we have players like Fofana and Aubameyang in the squad. His team selection are always off except for the game against West Ham that he put in a strong attack but still we had Havertz in the team that has little or no contribution to the game. Hopefully he learnt from the mistake he made of playing cucullera when we had Ben chilwel fit. He killed that game by not passing to Mudryk.

But we'll see if Ronaldo will also do the same against Al-Taawoun.
But it's not wrong for those who criticize Ronaldo, because Al-Nassr has provided enough facilities for Ronaldo, and Ronaldo certainly needs to make a big contribution to Al-Nassr. At least it can bring Al-Nassr to win the Pro League.

It doesn't matter if Ronaldo does the same against Al- Taawoun or not, that doesn't take away the fact of Ronaldo's greatness. Already Al Nassr has a very good record against Al- Taawoun as they have defeated them more than they have lost in their last 5 games so I don't see a reason why Al Nassr won't win that game. The Ronaldo impact has put Al Nassr at the top of the table already and it's going to end that way as Ronaldo will be helping Al Nassr get their very first league title in a long time.

Criticism aren't new to Ronaldo as they're things he is used to and that's what made him this popular. What will surprise me is if Ronaldo was somehow abel to end the season with 20+ goals. I would had said 10 but he already has closed to that number already and I believe he's about to pick up goal scoring form.
