2541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I will pay 15$ anyone who can accelerate this BTC transaction. on: March 20, 2019, 08:28:15 PM
*sigh*

With what you are offering you are actually giving money away for something you can do for free. There is a lot of tx accelerators out there and the only thing you need to do is input the raw transaction id of the transaction you wanted to speed up. Here are some of the tx accelerators I know you can use.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/pushtx
https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/pushtx/

How to get the raw transaction detail?
Go to https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/inputyourtxidhere and add "?format=hex" at the end of it.
2542  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitupper Explorer | Block explorer with unique features on: March 20, 2019, 07:14:38 PM

I think you need to update the English version of your website, even though I choose it some parts of your website are still in what I think is your local language. Other than that I can't seem to find the "filter" feature you are talking about I tried to hover my mouse in different areas of the address but I don't see any part responding. My first overall impression is that the website needs a major refinement as it is too simple and some parts are still needed to be change for it to be fully functional.
2543  Economy / Economics / Re: And Now Visa Wants To Enter Crypto on: March 20, 2019, 05:47:05 PM
I doubt Visa will ever launch their cryptocurrency (even if they may plan to create one) in the open market. What I foresee, Visa is probably going to launch a private blockchain and an exclusive cryptocurrency to be used within their network only. Even I don't think Visa customers will be able to use it directly. It will be more of a settlement cryptocurrency which would be used by Visa and participating banks for settling transactions without moving actual money from one account to another.
This would probably be the most likely move done by VISA, they might just mirror what JPMorgan did with their JPM coin and just created a cryptocurrency in their own Blockchain to improve efficiency. "Cryptocurrency" for them would more likely be a in-network transaction that they will see what's coming and going in the system. Just by launching a cryptocurrency would only disrupt their main business and I don't think that banks tied to them would have a positive response on that matter.
2544  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Trust System: broken or not? on: March 20, 2019, 05:19:19 PM
I wouldn't say its broken as we have the Reputation board ( and Scam accusation) to talk about the negative trust that has been given to you. I have been hanging out on those threads for a while now and to tell you the truth a lot of negative trust that has been given wrongly to members has been either removed or changed to neutral. Mostly misunderstandings as well as the problem being fixed is the most common way you get your negative trust be removed in your trust summary.
2545  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Good currency exchange services on: March 20, 2019, 07:29:58 AM
Try lookong for a local crypto exchange that is established legally in your country. Often times they are commected to their own local crypto wallet which I think is a added convenience for its users. The reason for having a local exchange is of course uf something went wrong with their service you could easily ask for legal assisstance against a domestic company, if something happened to your money on a foreign exchange chances are your local authority would be of no help on retrieving your money.
2546  Economy / Economics / Re: And Now Visa Wants To Enter Crypto on: March 20, 2019, 02:21:41 AM
Here's a bit from the job summary and job description for VISA's Technical Product Manager

Job Description

Are you passionate about the intersection of payments and cryptocurrency? Are you deeply familiar with permissionless blockchain technology and have a close network of experts in the fast moving cryptocurrency and fintech ecosystem? Are you excited about the challenge of developing new products for Visa to deliver value to fintechs looking to support cryptocurrencies?

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the product strategy and roadmap for cryptocurrency related opportunities
  • Define product scope and feature prioritization and be flexible to iterate/change per latest developments to meet deadlines
  • Ideate and execute opportunities to build products that leverage Visa’s core competencies
  • Influence and provide market feedback and knowledge sharing to the entire cross-functional team and executive leadership
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of products
  • Keep up with cutting edge technology especially open source projects, and strive to contribute to Visa’s IP portfolio

I think with Visa's Job description and responsibility it just confirms us that there is some kind of crypto product coming from their company. And I think them being a popular card company will receive a lot of backlash by having another kind of payment system not related to their main business, well it will still depend on what kind of crypto product they will release. If it does not affect with their main business and it supports it then I think their users would love the addition.
2547  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-19] Crypto Exchange Bithumb to Reduce Staff By Up to 50% on: March 19, 2019, 06:56:37 PM
With the long and extended bear market we have companies within the crypto industry have no choice but to cut their expenses and one of the quickest ways to do it is reducing the number of their staff. This is an inevitable thing to happen for such employees as they all know that companies depends on how strong the market is when it comes to earning their income. I'm just surprised that it took Bithumb this long to do such action when a lot of their competitors in the industry have begun doing it since the early of 2018, it looks like to me that they have tried to wait for the bull market which didn't came at the right time for them to hold any further.
2548  Economy / Reputation / Re: Transactions from gambling websites, lets talk about it. on: March 19, 2019, 05:57:05 PM
Ty for sharing the spreadsheet, I can already see some patterns on registration I will check accounts ASAP, also I'm reading transaction now to find more possible linked accounts.

Yes, I know everyone can insert fake data on the spreadsheet but don't worry I will double check if they are fake.
At this point there is no way of catching them not until they posted the same wallet address from one of the accounts or if they have used the same social media account like what you have caught earlier in your thread. If wallet transactions cannot be enough to tag them this is the only thing I see how other DT members will agree to you.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 19, 2019, 04:18:58 PM
Chelsea should sign a new coach. Its clear this is not working right now and they need fresh start next season. They have some good players and good abilites to play better.

Well...  That's not a problem with Abramovich.  I mean he's one of those club owners who embraced the idea of changing the manager whenever he isn't happy with the outcome.  It's why we have such a a crappy football culture (in that aspect) today.  And it made the players whiny.  Lol.
They still have the Euopean League to salvage and even thiugh it's not as big as the Champion's League tropy it is still an award that their fans would appreciate. Like what tokeweed has said it won't be a problem for the owner to have a new manager managing the team as Chelseas still has the money to do so. But one of the factor that can change Abramovich's mind is if they win the European League, maybe it would be enough for him to test Sarri out for at least another season.
2550  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc's possible next moves on: March 19, 2019, 06:52:42 AM
The possibility that we will visit the 3600$ level is ahigh one especially when BTC is considered to be moving fast right now compared to what we have seen in the past months. But I don't think we need to go above 4,600$ to retest the 3,600$ level remember that the last time we broke support is when we failed to go back up around 4,200$ which I think is the biggest obstacle we have to face right now. In my opinionhaving a drop at 4,200$ is way better compared to having it around 4,600$ as it will just be a short one.
2551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Binance crash/freeze regularly for anyone else? on: March 18, 2019, 07:59:09 PM
Is there a possibility that your internet connection or computer is the one giving you problems with? Aren't you experiencing it on other websites or programs with in your computer? Also check if your browser is the problem here, you should try running it on other browsers to confirm what I am saying. Problems like this one are due to connection issues which is common for people running with an outdated pc which has slow internet connection.
2552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of bitcoin with respect to Blockchain on: March 18, 2019, 06:52:14 PM
The way I see it is it depends on where you are looking at. If you are looking at big businesses such as financial companies then you would obviously notice that they are more involved in blockchain rather than cryptocurrencies. But if you look at the cryptocurrency community you will see the exact opposite. The thing is in terms of usability both have more purpose to their users and I don't see one of them being more popular than the other as both of them are still considered young and both of them still has to receive proper footing in our world to develop.
2553  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: About most likely an scam BTC mining on: March 18, 2019, 06:02:44 PM
I guessed that this already answers OP's problem in a bad way. I have tried searching all the keywords just to find their website and it doesn't even show up even in the 2nd page of the results, what I did found is a scam adviser review saying that this website is unsafe to invest in which I think is true based on their website just being a registered domain with namecheap. This cloud mining sites will always attract you with their rates and that is the problem as none of their business is real. Not until you see that they do have a mining equipment as well as an actual office address and working contact number you cannot trust them with your money.
2554  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My idea for a bitcoin job forum on: March 18, 2019, 05:24:32 PM
~snip~

Yeah the OP did not think this through....  Sad
The problem here is he created something new to offer without even thinking about the Pros and Cons on having a service section only forum website. Even the first sentence of the OP says a lot about his attempted project. He plans to run the forum on a free hosting service with a free domain which we all know lacks the reliability to a forum site running smoothly.
2555  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-16]Europe Starts War Against Illegal Activities Using Crypto on: March 17, 2019, 06:31:50 PM
Article is very misleading. This news is really more about AML procedures that will be done in Europe for now on and since only 4% are coming from cryptocurrencies it only means that 96% of money laundering are coming from other methods which I think they would be focusing into. So there would really be no war against crypto that will happen as 4% out of the whole 100 is really a small number to pay attention too. These news websites are really hungry for views they are so desperate for it they create clickbait titles just to boost their viewers.
2556  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My idea for a bitcoin job forum on: March 17, 2019, 05:44:46 PM
Freelance website that will look like a forum? No I don't think that it will work, for one users can also spam and discredit your work just cause of competition, unlike freelance websites where you can only be reviewed by the ones you work for or work with this won't work as literally anybody can post in your thread. Another main point is there is no proper way to be viewed what people are offering for in a forum style website all are in lines of threads which users needs to scroll down just to find the right one, the other thing is bumping it will really mess up a lot a people who bumps a lot will be always on top.
2557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Update Google Chrome now! on: March 17, 2019, 02:01:59 PM
Sucks for people running with an outdated OS, tried updating now my old Windows Vista laptop and it showed a version way below 72.xx, after I successfully installed the new Chrome update it didn't changed the version of my Chrome browser. It seems like I'll be uninstalling my chrome browser from my laptop by now, but before that I'll try to reinstall it to see if anything change from that kind of install. This is also a heads up for people with old Windows laptop Chrome has been notifying me that they will stop supporting Windows XP and Vista soon.
2558  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: March 17, 2019, 12:35:38 PM
When it comes to cryptocurrency news the news will be good or not depending on who you are asking. In this case we are seeing an opinion from a guy coming from a auditing firm which we all know that these individuals have nothing good to say from the industry. They are just here not accepting that there is a new market knocking them up and messing there business. Their opinion is something they know will come out in the news just to mess us up which ideally is working as most of the hodlers here don't have the guts enough to believe in there own investments.
2559  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bustabit should take action against CrashDoge, CrashingBitcoin, CrashingCrypto on: March 17, 2019, 10:49:57 AM
CrashDoge has indeed purchased a license for bustabit's v1 software, which is why they are listed at https://www.bustabit.com/license.txt. Since StackGambler's accusation looks credible I have added a link to his thread in that file until the situation is resolved. However, the licensing agreement does not allow me to revoke software licenses bustabit has sold.

The following sites have purchased a non-distributable copy of the previous
version of bustabit's source code, exempting them from the requirements of the

* crashbch.com, crashdoge.com, crasheth.com, crashingbitcoin.com, crashingcrypto.com, crashltc.com, crashnano.com (credible scam accusation: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5118237.0)
I think when they refer to as "license" they are referring to the license of the script they have bought to bustadice and they aren't exactly referring to be licensed under Bustabit. To keep it simple is the License page of Bustabit is only showing the list of people who have bought their scrip from them and they aren't exactly running under their name.
2560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 16, 2019, 09:55:26 AM
Now I believe a team doesnt really need star. Again, Denver is proving it. Jokic was not really their star from that statt but due to good coaching all of them is known now.
A strong team which did not even made the playoffs last year is not at the second spot in the West.
Will be watching all these players now.
You don't even need a star player to win games all you need is team work and all players doing their part to contribute. But its a different thing when it comes to playoffs especially in the championship a team's success to win the trophy depends on how hungry their players are and nothing is more hungrier and motivated then a star player wanting to be his name on top of the hall of fame, that's why a lot of teams showing good teamwork isn't sufficient enough for them to defeat this kinds of teams that has all stars.
