2561  Economy / Speculation / Re: [poll] how much do you want for all your coins? on: September 16, 2013, 02:58:50 PM
I don't understand the  question. I'll take as much as  someone will give me. How much btc I have is irrelevant
2562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 16, 2013, 02:16:50 AM
Gox approaching 5,000 24hr volume. lulz, btc = dead.

its weird.. just about a month ago 25k was the normal "low"

30k being the average daily volume

What? 30k was NOT the average. that was a high, usually once a week IF THAT.

50k daily was normal pre-April crash. In the weeks leading up to the crash we had over 100k daily. Peaked over 550k.

NO ONE IS INTERESTED AT THESE PRICES (but the bots).

Was it really? I could have sworn every time I checked volume it was like 30k.

2564  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are repeating 2012, not 2011 on: September 15, 2013, 11:34:06 PM
It looks like we aren't repeating either one.

Looks like you're speaking too soon.

Why would we see a repeat of one of 2 options? Its highly unlikely for this to be like either of the past two "major price events"

If it is, interesting.

But to say that "Hey it looks kinda like XXXX, therefore we should see this.." is stupid as hell. All market action looks like something in the past until a point.
2565  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do YOU value Bitcoins worth? on: September 15, 2013, 11:28:30 PM
when selling: gox   Grin

This hahahaha
2566  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: September 15, 2013, 11:27:32 PM
Quote

Kind of unsmart if they want to show the world that they are number 1.

I love the fact that they are banning bots.. bots kill the trading.

Doubt it.
2567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 15, 2013, 05:15:43 AM
bitcoinwisdom also shows $135.
http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mtgox/btcusd
Is that $117 from August?

Nope, i actually wasted 10 min of my  life editing those in paint  LOL
2568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 15, 2013, 04:58:21 AM
my bitcoinity is showing 135ish on gox, and seems up-to-date.

They're wrong

I take no responsibility on those who trade on my alternate api feed. It's been wrong before. Standard is lagging by about 3 hours.

I hope you guys know I was just making fake charts like everyone else?
2569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 15, 2013, 04:18:33 AM
WOW!!!

Without chartbuddy, I'll have to sub.

NOTE: Most sites have crashed by now and are far behind, this is last accurate image of status!

lies!

I lie? No, if I'm wrong, the chart lied. Not me.

Am I the only one waiting to see a buy show up? All it takes is a 700 buy for $140; 1200 for $142, and then the downtrend would take a slap in the face.

The sells are small but cumulatively are probably around 4k. Only reason its going down so cleanly is because few bids are popping up. Why? I think the whales have convinced the market that it cant go back down, and anyone who sells now is going to get burnt.

The lack of ask depth says yes to that... so why arent fishies holding it up?
2570  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Posting in comments on Internet to boost Bitcoin awareness and raise price? on: September 15, 2013, 03:57:14 AM
I recommend you hold off until I buy. I'll let you know when this happens.

If you do this before I buy, bad things will happen!

Wink Good one.
2575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 14, 2013, 07:54:02 PM
I noticed bitcoinity added localbitcoins and the volatility is insane if true.  Shocked
How can one buy on Gox and sell on localbitcoins? If it were simple, there shouldn't be such a crazy volatility.
I mean, it looks like profits from arbitrages could reach 30%!  Shocked

24hr:
high: 192.18      low: 108.66

6month:
high: 396.40      low: 46.35
^^^ OUCH!
2576  Economy / Speculation / Re: My TA: new bottom! we are getting stronger on: September 14, 2013, 07:16:20 PM
Nice analysis, makes perfect sense
Thank you!

And just for the record: we will have a double-top next week because the rebound, but don't be scare! Smiley

Interesting. There was [almost] a double top, too

But, you coulda gotten lucky Smiley

--So, where now? Maybe this time I take your advice [I'd have a lot more money if I listened to what you wrote; I remember reading this and thinking, "This guy better be full of shit"
2577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 14, 2013, 06:56:32 PM
Does trading.i286 and clarkmoody work for anyone here? They load for me and depth updates, but no live trades show up. Bitcoinity/bitcoinwisdom work fine

been having this problem for about a week now

Hm, its new for me. However, what the heck is localbitcoins and why do they have so much depth and volatility? lol.

--Damn, quite a lot of selling on bitstamp. Looks like they reacted to the slow drop on Gox and now its the other way around.

Last time stamp was the leader of the drop. Repeat?

2579  Economy / Speculation / Re: [poll] The 140 wall on: September 14, 2013, 02:00:04 PM
No, AFAIK it was slowly eaten.

PS. I'm not sure what happened during the night. This morning the wall was about 700 BTC and then was eaten.

Looking at the numbers on Bitcoinwisdom, it looks like it was mostly pulled overnight

12h bitcoinity chart makes it pretty clear it was eaten. When I went to bed  there was 800 left. Small sells and the 500 volume spike followed by dropping thru 140 -> sell
2580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 14, 2013, 01:56:19 PM
