To be fair, Gox has seen 15k volume over the course of a minute in the past.
1762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Official End of Mt Gox thread on: February 25, 2014, 07:26:43 AM
Gox is dead! WOOHOO! This is the last Goxxing ever!

yay ... no more of that fat fuck bring crypto down !!

Please, wait until the funeral is over. People are still mourning over the loss of our beloved.
1763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2014, 07:17:08 AM

True.
Bitcoin is obsolete.
Just sell all and move to quark.

Bitcoin is worth approx 100-150$ measures on growth of # of transactions (adoption).
It will go much lower. Sell now and double or even tripple your coins.

I love quark, because whenever someone mentions it in a positive way, I know they are lying(trolling) and their opinions are not worth considering.

BTW Mtgox website is down, nothing loads... only a blank page...

Yep been down for three hours or so now

I just dumped mtgox's site an hour ago and 95% of it has been removed.

The Gox homepage/login has been missing for nearly four hours now....check back in the thread if you don't believe me </shrug>

I had the public mtgox site indexed and checked daily. support.mtgox.com is really the only thing left
no thats gone too

Oh shit Tongue

Someone found this gem earlier, still works: https://www.mtgox.com/img/bitcoin-foundation-gold-member.png
1766  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Destroy Mt.Gox Cosnpiracy on: February 25, 2014, 06:58:12 AM
There is obviously a conspiracy to destroy the reputation of Mt. Gox and make everyone think they are going bust.
So far I have seen not a single shred of evidence to prove that they are insolvent. Only thousands of dumb ass troll posts and ridiculously fake documents like this new child-like nonsense being bandied around right now:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/209050732/MtGox-Situation-Crisis-Strategy-Draft

Sorry but the chances of that being real are like 1 in a million. It is ludicrous and just goes to show that there really is a conspiracy or at least a whole bunch of people that hate Gox for whatever reason and they want everyone else to too.

I post some useful info saying that Gox are testing out their new Withdrawal Queue - as they promised on the 17th Feb and I am instantly told to 'fuck off' by some well meaning Gox-hater. Interesting.

So here it goes... get ready to hear the trolls call me names and repeat repeat repeat.... that Gox is dead. With no evidence at all - other than Mark is incompetent. Incompetent does not mean insolvent.

I am still waiting for the proof - show us some proof trolls - that Gox is insolvent or just SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY!!!!

Ok. So I bet you 0.01BTC this document is real - and I expect you to give me this 1million times 0.01BTC payment if I am right.

HI,

Do you accept GoxBTC?

Thank you.
1767  Economy / Speculation / Re: people hold on to your coins on: February 25, 2014, 06:57:16 AM
Ya, keep telling yourself that all the way down. Do everyone a favor, hold.

If you've held this long, it would be silly to sell now. You've had $1000, $900, $800, $700, $600, $500 to sell.

Bitcoin isn't finished. Gox the cancer is being removed as we speak. I'm fairly certain we will see an exchange rate higher than $420 during the rest of 2014.

Thats my psychology. The only way I'll become a HODLER is if I end up way down. Then I refuse to accept losses.

Risk/rewards gets worse and worse as the price drops Smiley Why sell now?

You dont say.....  Roll Eyes

dude, he just woke up

And? It takes all of 10 seconds to skim a few titles in the speculation section.

And if he just woke up, is he dumb enough to think hes actually the first person to notice Gox is down? And that the panic on bitstamp is just a coincidence? No, hes not.

So its annoying that people post that crap. Think.

why is your butt hurting, I don't visit the junk threads on the speculation forum, this and Risto threads are the only threads I visit on this sub-forum since few months, and this is by clicking "show new replies to your posts".....

even if I am an ignorant asshole, isn't wise to help me out ? or you forgot that you were once a noob and we given you guidance by writing wikis and helping unswerving the dumb questions...

I dont mind answering questions when they arent because someone is so ridiculously lazy they cant even google search before asking a forum what happened.

I dont usually put people on ignore but when I do it I make sure they deserve to be ignored

Dont cry now honey buns, learn how to internet rather than get butthurt.

Large buying activity on stamp in 200-400 blocks. Walls getting demolished. Looks like bottom.

402 wall failed(fell), buy overshoots to $430, another 402 wall is put up.

HAHA, that guy fucked himself out of a lot of fiat.
1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt.Gox currently testing Withdrawal Queue on: February 25, 2014, 06:36:11 AM
That's some wishful thinking you've got  Wink

No it's not actually. When you attempt to do a withdrawal a message comes up that says "Withdrawal Queue not currently accepting withdrawals" or something like that. A few days it didn't do that.
That is new.

...fucking liar, its always said that.

A few days ago I tried to do a Bitcoin withdrawal and the buttons and box were not available and there was a pink box message at the top.
Now you can try to do it and it gives a message about a withdrawal queue.

You can call me as many names as you want!!! It's true. I have no agenda to lie to anyone.

Screencaps of that have been being posted for DAYS.
1776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2014, 06:32:24 AM
believe it or not, there is more volume going on a huobi than bitstamp...

Thats normal. China volume is always fake.

Ive still yet to find this IRC.

freenode #mtgox

Thanks, I tried that.. but no one talked for hours and I couldnt post... ? It still showed people joining and leaving.. tons of people in it too.

You can take it with all the grains in the silo, but the following was bellowed recently in IRC:

*> SarahCoinBit: kapuutt: There is no solvency

archminer: SarahCoinBit: what is your information source? Did Mark tell you there was no insolvency?

SarahCoinBit: Algernon; Wilbur; Charlotte

ade72: SarahCoinBit: Are you able to give Mark feed from us? Or is there no feed for him because he is not interested in getting fatter?

SarahCoinBit: ade72: Mark is always interested in getting fed

adam3us: couple of questions: did mtgox lose any client bitcoins during the period when they were affected by the malleability related issue?

SarahCoinBit: adam3us: I can't answer that sorry, I can say your coins (maybe not your specific coins) are safe

ade72: SarahCoinBit: Why can you say our coins are safe. Source?

SarahCoinBit: ade72: I work for Mt.Gox*

*As a stable hand.

Ive still yet to find this IRC.

The forum is behaving like the polar opposite of the days leading up to the Nov/Dec peak.

I don't know if that means anything or if some TA schedule has to play out or what...

The lines on my chart say DOWN DOWN DOWN!!!

1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mainstream media is gonna kill Bitcoin next 24 hrs on: February 25, 2014, 06:00:07 AM
What's so funny about that?

Its just very poor wording.

1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Copy of the alleged MTGox Crisis draft strategy on: February 25, 2014, 05:58:17 AM
Very disturbing document, freaky as fuck. Be careful before reading if u cant stomach this

I was suppose to stomach it? Hell, I jacked off all over it. Now, somebody push my face into it and make me swallow.

BTW, I've been holding back something on BitcoinBuilder, something of which is important, and I'm not a very happy camper about it. Not happy at all.

What in the fuck is wrong with you? LOL

Also,.. leave everyone hanging on that second part. Totally helps.
