Gox dropping :O
Uh oh.
gox is dead Not sure if generic reply or serious comment I mean we all know gox sucks. But its still fun to watch the market there.

With all the cheeseburgers Karpeles washes down with frappuccinos, my guess is the movement will be huge. At least he will have the print out of tomorrow's announcement available to use for wiping his ass (bc that's all it will be good for).
Am I understanding you correctly? Mr. Karpeles ate the bitcoins?

I scoffed at first, haven't been following gox for a while now, but this really is something I've never seen before.
If anyone can provide another example of this kind of behaviour, for this amount of time, in the life of bitcoin, (since 100 or so, please no examples from those horrible doldrums at +/- $5) I would very much like to see it.
Does the wall just keep getting refilled? it doesn't look that big...
lots of small bids around 261 get refilled constantly

Why u drop so much cashcoin? No bids at all :O

Dang. Thanks for the info I read something about Kimoto Gravity Well and auto-switching pools not picking EAC (and others) will cause their value to drop? Any explanation on this?

I see. Scary depth, no doubt. But following depth has screwed me over at least once before.
*cough* vertcoin
Sadly, Vertcoin was pumped and dumped by a spoiled brat named Wolong and his minions. Same with EAC. So was Doge, but it held up to the pressure. Realllly? Im just disappointed. I bought vertcoin the other day at 37, then it crashed. I sold at 36 earlier today not expecting much more, just checked the charts and it went to 60.. wow! They must have a lot of BTC to pump coins that big.

Is it possible someone is placing 1000s of BTC of bids at and around 261 to prevent a large wall from showing up? [In order to accumulate] Sure!
But, its not an "invisible wall" as people are calling it. Everything is visible.
Im sure with everyone at the tip of their seats waiting for Gox news, this will hurt volume as well. Anyone making a decision now is either clueless, in the know, or ballsy.

Still on 261.
Just the free market at work, nothing to see here, move along now. Or MtGox has a big order before they open withdrawals... The orders are visible and all the market sells match perfectly with them. Get a clue. 261 fell, and there was nothing odd about it.

That large chunk of buy order is nothing but a ruse to help prevent a bottoming out. Every time it's close to buying anything, it moves down 3-5 satoshi.
The fact that Middlecoin mines 80% of EAC and dumps it for btc promptly is rearing it's fugly face. WAAAAY too much supply. This coin feels more and more abandoned with each passing day.
I dont follow. I wasnt watching the charts for the last few hours, but it looks like the walls were real, just by looking at the depth. BTW im buying all the way down, hoping for the best. In at 122, 117, 98, and 92

not sure i get why the market is acting the way it is. it should place walls on the low, waiting for gox to allow withdrawals and catch the coins being arb. instead the walls are moving to the front line b4 the party has even started...
but why!?
cheap gox coin are sure to be liquidated on stamps soon...
Shouldn't be more than 30k coin arb. Not that big of a deal

Withdrawals will be allowed by friday.
People receive BTC's/USD, people see that it's been received, people start buying cheap ass coins, people sell the cheap coins 4 hours later for $695,- on gox.
And we continue our lovely journey of the crypto's.
I think everyone agrees gox will go nuts if withdrawals are confirmed. The question is whether or not that will happen.
|
|
|
Is gox buying all the coins it can at $261.23 with invisible orders?
No wall at that price, but it catches all sells. Are they stacking up coins ready for allowing withdrawals..? Y'all are nuts. People are placing bids 1:1 with market sells, nothing more. No large sells; not breaking they

Guys they have just a really slow typist. I gave em a call and withdrawals are being activated as we sit here.
