rapid loss of depth on both the bid and ask side from the bitstamp orderbook in the past hour.... what's going on traders finally moving orders that had been parked since the beginning of the painfully low volatility? I don't see any meaningful changes regarding the order book walls. I see 6,000 bitcoins on each side of the order book (at least for the next $60 in each direction)..... pretty much unchanged from previous order book wall amounts courtesy of bitcoinity Sorry but hes right, the order book is looking terrible. Bid depth was 9.2k to 600 and ask 7.7k to 700 -- <4 days ago Now: Bid depth only 4.6k, 50% reduction, and ask depth to 9.6k.

lmao another scamcoin.
ALL THESE CITY/COUNTRY COINS ARE EFFECTIVELY SCAMS. QUIT BUYING THEM.

Its dead. Realize you bought a coin named after... a terrible, plagiarized game.. What..? Where.. where does a successful crypto currency come out of Flappy Bird? - Offers something new? - No
- Is funny? - No
- Is it.. pumpable? - no
- Ok, so it must have a catchy name, like Mooncoin, or Galaxycoin??? - No
This, and AuroraCoin are two coins I have no sympathy for bagholders.
|
|
|
And what are you doing to support it?
Absolutely nothing. I'm just here to giggle and eat popcorn. Dumped my AUR at the first pump, made off with a decent chunk of profit. And I'm not dumped and keep my coins for long-term outlook. How are you going to feel if tomorrow will cost 1aur = 0.9btc? 1.8btc? 3.6btc? Through panic or other circumstances Lmfao, you are totally delusional. Aur will never ever ever ever, - there isnt even a 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance.. of it going above 1BTC [WHILE retaining any actual value, if BTC -> 0, then sure, shitAuroracoin might go to 1BTC.] Its on a path to 1000 Satoshi.

any news that caused this small dip?
That Gox death is playing out as expected. Down to double digits, it is!
|
|

Wow, this volume..
Im no TA guy but it looks like it wants to shoot down.
As always, hope I'm wrong.

Lets assume 90% of the yes voters already own BTC.
And 20% of maybe -> yes.
Now 0.7%
I believe that much more.

And now you see the proper distribution of IQ levels in humanity.
And you simultaneously see why your whole Bitcoin is going to be worth a sh*t ton of money in 10 years.
This is only good news. Because as the 95% sheeples talk trash and cower in fear, those with IQ's over 100 actually did a lil reading and are watching the paradigm change take hold all over the world.
By the time the 95% sheeples realize what its worth, it will be way too late for them to make any money on it, and you'll be buying yachts.
-B-
This isn't how IQ scores work. A population with 95% of people under 100 is impossible, because 100 is defined as the average of a population. It will always be 50:50. Well, no, not quite. It could be 99:1 under 100. Or it could be 0.01:99.99 and still average 100.

Despite the [small] dumps in the last hour, bid depth still getting better. Before, ask was 7.6k to 700 and bid 8k to 600 now, ask is 7.7k to 700 and bid 9.2k to 600
|
|
|
WTF guys, a legit 2k wall appeared at $630 and no one comments?
This is the first time in a long while (relatively) that $600 had more bid support than there was resistance to $700.
|
|

And.... it's gone. Probably was just a bug. There was an unconfirmed 10 billion bitcoin transaction. Sadly I didn't take pic, I will search if someone did.
I dont remember you being a troll so I believe you, but c'mon! Everyone knows to screencap crazy shit nowadays

Odd as it is, altcoins seem to work in a hyper-reactive cycle with bitcoin.
By that I mean, if bitcoin goes up, the rate of altcoin/BTC also increases, on average. ....
On average, that only started in Dec (not before) and continued into Jan, but lately has changed and alt's are in a "horrible" slide. Ah, I see. Thats about as long as I've been paying any attention to them. Gotta wonder what the people behind these swings are thinking.

Odd as it is, altcoins seem to work in a hyper-reactive cycle with bitcoin.
By that I mean, if bitcoin goes up, the rate of altcoin/BTC also increases, on average.
As we have seen from the crash earlier this year, many altcoins have lost values near 90%, and just about all at least 50%. This is no coincidence. When Mr. Whale bought it up to $700? A lot of alts also went up.
So, say someone owned 1000 CrapCoin, at .01BTC ea.
Bitcoin drops 30%. They are now 30% less wealthy. But, CrapCoin will drop to maybe 0.003BTC ea... so, now they are 80% less wealthy.
I really dont understand why though. It seems like its suicide to work in such a fashion.

climb aboard, bears. now or never.
Only if we see another pattern of gradually moving walls. This could be an isolated incident.
|
|
|
Wall guy is back! $5000 it is!
lmao xD I dont think its the same guy tho, the rally to $700 seemed to have a pattern. This wall doesnt fit it. Unless they just found a couple hundred thousand dollars lying around and wanted to throw that change into BTC.

I have made a semi accurate prediction, bow down thee
Nope, never happened. Sorry

Good luck! I, like a lot of others, would definitely see a good chunk of it now. At least half.. just to reduce the risk. But, if you value the potential returns that much, then again - I wish you luck.
