b) A functional anonymity solution with secret, yet apparently amazing, new privacy features coming in RC4. Guys, let's face it, nobody is likely to outwit the NSA/FBI when it comes to anonymous solutions. Barring some outrageous development, government organizations with many billions in funding will likely still be able to connect the dots. The point isn't to hide transactions from the government per se, it's to obfuscate them well enough so that other people can't see your "checkbook."
That's a moot point. Information is big money. Government is corrupt as hell, and the NSA/FBI is accused of selling information to the highest bidder anyway. So, a half-assed anonymity will not help anyone. We need anonymity that - should NSA try to connect the dots - they can only crack by taking very exhaustive and very time and money consuming measures. That's good anonymity, to make it very hard to even the guy who has billions of funding.... so that it eats away his funding very fast, if he tries to crack your code or scan your network. Make it as hard as possible.

I could be wrong, but I doubt that Satoshi is completely done with Bitcoin.
Yes, of all the things I want to see happening in the remaining decades of my life, seeing the real life satoshi coming back is one of those things. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

So the Ghash thing did not happen ? last month there was a 12hr window where they had 51% of the mining power .. or am I mistaken ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) The way I understand it, is , if GHash tried to do something fishy, as a counteraction the bitcoin code could have been updated so that their FALSE blockchain would have been rejected by everybody. I don't understand the details though. Good thing is that many miners started to leave ghash.io and join smaller pools, so all this never became necessary.

He talks about the 51% dilemma for bitcoin...
Andreas Antonopoulos has very well explained in this 3 minute video why a 51% attack is not really a problem anymore with bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWTQgmCuiCwIt's a problem with small altcoins, but not with bitcoin anymore.

That green screen kept waving in the background LMAO. Horrible setup.
My camera does that too sometimes... it's something in the digital steadyshot algorithm that does that with the background... lol, and you think it's the green screen waving, and everything is a conspiracy, hm?... ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Sorry, but I don't think so.

In other news, Max Keiser is interviewed by Luke Rudkowski from WeAreChange... Max talks about altcoins to diversify your crypto portfolio, mentions DarkCoin too... http://youtu.be/lFI4QGlW22Q?t=58s

“Wide diversification is only required when investors do not understand what they are doing.” Warren Buffett
After the last 3 days, you still believe in this quote? My other positions have gone up and will allow me to buy cheaper DRK. +1. These days I am reminded how important it is to be invested in other coins too. If I was into DRK only, it would feel like a 50% loss since the ATH... but because of all the other coins it merely creates a 10% "dent" in my portfolio, but not more. Hooray for diversification. Fuck warren buffett, hasn't he made most of his fortune by lobbying government officials who then created favourable legislation for his businesses? And people follow advice from such a statist?

you are comparing apples with oranges. ltc - scrypt. if there were no asics, one 280x does 700 khs on scrypt doge - same same as above drk - x11. one 280x does 4.2 Mhs
so how many gpus mine drk and home many mine ltc (lets asume no asics)
But you are right that drk surpased ltc in just couple of months.
no fud, I am drk miner myself.
Litecoin and Doge are Scrypt, Darkcoin is X11. You can't compare hash rate like that. Different mining algorithms will result in different hash rate on a same hardware.
Ofcourse you are both right. My brain was temporarily dislodged. ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif)

Let's compare it to others:
Litecoin: 402 GH/s
Dogecoin: 67 GH/s
so Darkcoin comes right after Litecoin.... not bad for such a new coin.
Wow, if those numbers are correct, and there are ASICs for scrypt now, it makes Darkcoin's numbers pretty damn amazing! Don't take my word for it. Go to http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrencyand sort by Network Hashrate.

TO EVERYONE WHO ARE CONCERNED WITH THE PRICE AND THE FUTURE of DarkCoin You should first look at this DarkCoin Network speed: 156.23 GH/s you can make your own decisions based on that..
Let's compare it to others: Litecoin: 402 GH/s Dogecoin: 67 GH/s so Darkcoin comes right after Litecoin.... not bad for such a new coin.

Going "all in" is foolish and greedy.
No, it means you know what you're doing and don't fuck around... That's the thing: You can never know all parameters and variables of the equation. You don't go all in because of the unknown factor, or else you are just gambling, not investing. bewbs
Hey, we need more scantily clad (if they must be clad) buff/skinny brunettes with giant bewbs... did you see today's girl, the one on page 2116? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I don't like skinny with giant bewbs, it makes no sense... not natural. For 0.3 DRK I can't create more than 1 girl a day... sorry... but I'll try... also: it makes fun anyway... no greed. I can't believe I'm actually sticking DRK in a man's garter...
Are you kidding me, that would be my dreamjob if it payed for my rent. (it doesn't) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Expect a reeeeeaally thick girl tomorrow. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Shitcoins never kick ass, they just get pumped... Fundamentals kick ass. Scamwaves are just surges in stupid...
Call it what you want I am not going 100% in on DRK, I am still holding over 1300 DRK. Fundametals doesn't mean shit nowadays, tell that to the Silver stackers ( I'm one of them ). Fundamentals are only one part of the equation. The other is what timeframe you expect it to play out. Things like Silver/Gold take decades to play out. (I am a stacker too) ... so you can't say that "fundamentals don't mean shit" just because you expected a good ROI within a short time. Cryptos too will (much like BTC) take more than just a few months to make the big moves. so... Patience is key.I agree with you though: Going "all in" is foolish and greedy.
