2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to convert altcoins into bitcoin and withdraw? on: June 13, 2021, 11:55:28 PM
It's possible if it has a BTC pair but beware of the fees as you said. I didn't have tried coinbase earn program but check if there are other fees aside from the buy and sell spread of each pair. If the cost of converting is acceptable, Go try it but if it isn't I think it's better to accumulate more before converting. I also suggest converting it to a stable coin rather than BTC if you don't want the volatility to hit you since you are going to withdraw your altcoins.
2562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: June 13, 2021, 10:59:24 PM
I think the price of ethereum is still too expensive to buy, I prefer to wait for the price of ethereum to fall a little deeper and be able to buy as much as I want, currently the gas transaction fee is still very cheap so I better use it to do erc20 altcoin transactions between place of exchange so that it can make a lot of profit from price differences at the place of exchange.
If you saw Ethereum's price last year, You will consider it too expensive because of the rally it makes during the bull run. Ethereum price growth this bull run is so big that we don't have any assurance that ETH will return to your target buying price this year.

Do you mean arbitrage trading? Where you will take advantage of the price difference on different exchanges?
2563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: June 13, 2021, 04:43:16 PM

Addictions are scary, it always resulting in something regretful except for the other habits which are helpful like reading books and others. many people fell into this kind of problem where they always waste what consider to others as a huge opportunity. if people know the value of everything they know how to spend it well. whether it is their wealth, time, and health. But there's always be another chance to let go of those kinds of addictions if one has no one to talk to, they can consult someone who knows their current situations.

Thats why we need to determine what we do and spend our money with, some think their too rich or too lucky enough that they will not regret playing gambling. At the end of the day we are the one who makes decisions and being addicted is not a reason . We are the one who should move and decide on what are we going to do. The accessibility of gambling now doesnt mean that we need to put all our money in it.
We should be responsible for everything we do with our lives. Our money isn't infinite, Even millionaires got addicted to gambling and lose big chunks of their money, and after losing they will just only figure out that they need to stop or slow down from playing gambling. I believe that every mistake we did is the result of our bad decisions and being addicted to gambling is our decision. Being caught on gambling addiction doesn't mean we can't change, We make or do small steps to slow down our addiction till we get rid of it. Consulting someone and limiting ourselves is one of the best things you can do if you are a gambling addict.

Napansin ko lang is dati pa mahigpit ang BPI for crypto transaction and it is the same with BDO. Nagka issue na din ako sa BDO in terms of crypto transaction, Sinabi ko na galing sa crypto yung pera sa bank ko and sobrang hassle nun para sakin kaya finorce close ko ang BDO account ko para mailabas yung pera. I think meron same issue sakin before pero BPI yung bank nun. Ngayon lang talaga dineclare ng BPI na di na sila mag aaccept ng crypto transactions and I expect na susunod na ang other banks at BDO ang most expected ko dito.

Unionbank lang talaga ang pinaka crypto-friendly na bank na alam ko dito sa bansa natin and I'm glad that I switched to them.
2565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too blind to see on: June 13, 2021, 03:29:16 PM
You are wrong, I don't think we are in bearish market. This is only correction. We will see soon bullish market again. There is still no any indicator which day now bearish market has started. So you shouldn't say that market is bearish.
The speculation you see is depending on the way you see the market. Even the most followed people have their different say about the market, Some say it's going to be bearish and some tell it's just a correction and their speculations have some basis which is their found patterns, Historical data, and other needed data to back their speculation. I myself is really confused about where will the market will land. The only thing we can do today is to earn and earn more profit to get ready for what the market awaits us.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: June 12, 2021, 11:35:51 PM
With all of the hype surrounding "De-Fi" and NFTs, it looks like old coins like Peercoin, Primecoin, and Quark have been left in the dust. This is sad, considering that the aforementioned coins have a proven track record of stability and reliability. New coins are usually less secure than old ones. Despite the low interest/demand for old coins, they're still actively traded on the market.

I'm wondering whenever it's worth buying and holding old coins for the long term. Primecoin is one of its kind with a PoW algorithm that contributes towards the discovery of prime numbers. It's a pity other crypto projects haven't copied its model. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I think the worth of it buying is depending on your own research and perspective. If you believe that much to the said coin despite not shinning up on the bull run. As long as it is not an abandoned project, There's still a chance that it is worth holding. There are so many sleeping gems in the market and just waiting for further developments, Everything will depend on what you can see on the project and how's the team doing on it.
2567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: June 10, 2021, 09:09:36 PM
All we keep hearing about is a guy who invested 100$ in meme coin and go home with 100,000$ but no one is talking about those guys who invested 10,000$ in meme coins and go home with zero $ , the truth is many losses more money than those who win investing in meme coin, it's like buying your fantasies when you know that your chances are very slim, meme coins are shitcoins but many don't want to accept just because someone make 100,000$ off the shitcoin haha
Ofcourse,  Big gains get big hype. People just want positivity and like avoiding the real truth of investing in shitcoins. The hard truth is there are more people losing trading/investing on shitcoin than gaining on it. 100x is very eye-catching so articles and story publishers are taking advantage of it to gain more traffic on their own. Meme coin has its own risk and comparing it to good altcoins, The risk of it is very high that you can get bankrupt in less than a day. Investing in it is just gambling in my opinion, a High-risk high reward.

Settings > Preferences > Dapp Browser

Safe ba taga yang Yandex? Hindi naman kaya ma-compomised wallet natin dyan?

Siya nga pala, hindi pa ba working yung breeding feature?
I think if myself don't know If I will trust yandex browser in terms of security ehh. Yandex browser ang gainagamit ng mga mobile players eh na kadalasan ko nakikita sa telegram channel and sa facebook group and pansin ko lang yun din nirerecommend nila gamitin kesa sa Dapp browser ng trust wallet.

If may PC ka I highly recommend using metamask nalang, mas madali and mas stable kasi yung gameplay if compared sa mobile.

You can also join Defi pet official telegram para mas madali ka ma update sa mga news and new releases ng game.

Which of such channels / groups would you recommend?

There is one that I follow look at this Twitter https://twitter.com/whale_alert

If you follow those channels and telegram groups they are not 100% accurate sometimes they use social media for spreading FUDs.

And for aggregators, you can check the list below.

You can find more tools from the link below to get the data that you need.

I've been following whale_alert for months now and I'm happy how easily I see whale movements. It's free and It's on Twitter which is the most social media that I am using today. Just follow the real one because there are fakes/impersonators of whale alert over Twitter and they are taking advantage of it by giving fake information to give FOMO or FUD to others.
2570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: June 10, 2021, 06:58:29 PM
Hello, I'm new here and I wanted to ask something I've been confused about for a few days.

I recently got into an altcoin (called startup boost token) and the devs are doxxed and presale LP locked, they claim to have live use case and all.

I want to know how I can determine / what kind of questions I should be asking to know if its a real 100x token? Any advice?

The first piece of advice is if you don't know and understand a project well enough then don't invest it. And most of the time scam project appears in the market when the market is trending for a certain project. As an example when meme coin hype occurred then we saw many similar projects like Shiba Inu and most of them are copies of Shiba Inu. Those are mostly scam projects.
Scammers tend to take advantage of every opportunity in the market that they know people will invest in. This happened in the past with the ICO trend and the recent Defi trend. There are many projects today especially on Defi that is a Degen project which is very prone to having investors being RUG. There are also projects that are impersonating or copying other projects. Just beware and do research about the altcoins you are planning to invest in.
2571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is Easy dont be afraid just on: June 10, 2021, 05:57:34 PM
The same odds to lose are 50:50 to Win.
You lose Only if You buy When price is Up Green*
Or You Panic selling*
If its correction just buy more.
Just make sure You have always other 50% cash to buy the dips*

Only thing You have to be afraid...  IS BLACK SWAN*

NOTHING ELSE REALLY!
Corrections are for buying not selling.

Only way to lose money is BLACK SWAN ON THE MARKETS*
Black SWAN comes When MARKETS gets hot so make sure to Come out of the game if You made Good profit.
Anything else is not even problem.
I hope it easily works like this. If your ideology of trading is just easy as this, why would Technical Analysis, Historical Data, News, and other tools be used by those experienced traders? I'm not saying it wouldn't work but the risk you are putting in each of your trades is so high, You are just doing a blind trade with this.

If you do a strategy like this most of the time you are just playing gambling with your money, It would be better to play real gambling than doing this.
2572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoins was lost permanently? on: June 10, 2021, 04:42:08 PM
This will be hard to determine since untouched bitcoin from many years doesn't mean it is lost. Even the near-accurate estimates of permanently lost bitcoin are hard to determine because not everyone is publicly declaring that they have lost a private key that could result in being permanently lost.
2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still on NFT's? on: June 10, 2021, 03:48:44 PM
Binance has teased first information about its NFT market: http://featured.market/. IMO, CZ and Bianace will trigger the hype on NFT. Not sure if it can last long and achieve as much as DeFi trend but at least it will complete Binance Smart Chain ecosystem. Other platform like Polygon, Solana, Fantom...will definitely grow their owns NFT markets. This will somehow make the market noisier than now.
binance always doesn't want to be left behind with the impending momentum in the market. binance knows what the future holds for NFT. and we also know how nowadays there are more and more new NFT projects on the market as you mentioned.
NFT is not ending, it is currently starting the beginning of their momentum.
Yes, Binance surely doesn't want to miss the trend of NFT. It is pretty expected that Binance will make its own marketplace, It would be wonderful if all of the networks will be accepted on Binance NFT marketplace. NFT's is still on the trend, New NFT's are being launched every day and some projects are using Non-fungible tokens to their projects. NFT gaming is still blooming and I can see it is not the end yet.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 09, 2021, 11:34:50 PM
Anyway, we are gamblers, so it should not affect us, by the way the fee for bitcoin transaction now is very cheap.

Yes, the transaction is very cheap now, it's good to gamble with bitcoin.

the lowest fee I've seen this year so far.

source : https://mempool.space/

We should gamble more now, bitcoin price is not pumping so that's another win if it will recover.

Which leads me to think that we should not ever bet with Ethereum Wink I hope that the transaction fees keep low, it was a big problem in the old times before the lighting network was fully active and it made bitcoin as difficult to trade as ethereum tokens are today if not more. I guess this is a bit by design, so that large amounts are favoured on the bitcoin network while other chains get the low volume exchanges. Anyway, good new for fair betting and bitcoin based games... the best-

That would not take long, the price will eventually back up and the fees as well. If we want to see that fee again, it should be okay for us also for bitcoin to go down and people will not hype it to see a bull run. As the market is slowly recovering, we are also now seeing an increase in fee, but the fee is still below $1 which is good.
Fees under 1$ won't hurt you so much if you will put it on a casino, You can regain it easily. What you will care about is the withdrawal fee that the casino set. It is sometimes fixed and it is much expensive than the actual fee on mempool. After months of overpriced fees, We are back again on cheap fees. I can quit now on using TRX for my casino transactions and go back into BTC.
2575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: June 09, 2021, 10:41:29 PM
First, I like to ask, what do you think is the purpose of Meme coins? Is it useful now and in the future?

If the answer is yes, then probably you have to study the comparison of the new and the old, but it doesn't matter a lot since it always depends on how people embrace it. Since the market is still manipulated, it's hard to know which is more successful, just like DOGE, we think it will go stagnant but once man shill for DOGE, then everyone goes crazy, that's insane.
I don't know why do people want to risk their funds into some kind of shitcoins like all the other meme coins around here. It's just crazy that when DOGE value rise, People are creating, finding, and investing in this kind of coin where the risk is just too high. It would be better if they will settle on fundamentally strong tokens out there that can rise up in value over time.

Meme coins are just for memes and should not be considered a good investment.
2576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To diversify or not to diversify... on: June 09, 2021, 10:09:45 PM
If you are satisfied with your current bitcoin holding, Diversifying it doesn't guarantee you getting less risk since bitcoin pulls the majority of major altcoins in the market when bitcoin has big movements. But if bitcoin pumps, You would most likely get much more profit on altcoin than bitcoin. If your planning to go long-term, I would suggest just stack up BTC as much as you can and extend your bitcoin holding goals. If you're up for a high-risk high reward, after finishing your goal you can buy some major altcoin to hold.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is playing on Pnxbet.com right now? on: June 09, 2021, 09:20:13 PM
Looks like you've been caught in a bad gambling site.

You should first check the site that is branded bet-bet-bet, whether it has anything to do with 1xbet.

The victim is certain if we are not careful in making deposits on gambling sites that we just know.

Here's another piece of evidence about PNXBET.COM, hopefully it's a warning to gambling addicts.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2593437

Topic: PNXBET.COM - Live Casino, Sportsbook, Slots [BTC/ETH/LTC/BCH]
Damn, I didn't even think that pnxbet has a standing scam accusation. It's a really well-promoted betting site in my country. For as long as I can remember I have seen some YouTubers promote this casino same as 1xbit marketing.

I have been invited many times to this betting site but I didn't budge to join because I have many betting sites that I am using for some years now. Actually, I have some friends betting on this site but I don't know if they know about these accusations. I will inform them as soon as I meet them.

If you haven't watched the Play 2 earn documentary, you should!

It shows how Axie Infinity is changing the scene on the Philippines and bringing a possibility for many people to have an income despite of the pandemic.

really interesting!

20 minutes duration on youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo-BrASMHU4

This is surprisingly an honest documentary on the Axie Infinity scene in the Philippines, Axie Infinity is really hot in our country. It is because of the opportunity to earn some money and the economic state of our country. Many lives were changed and some of them rely on playing axie infinity in terms of earning money from it to survive their daily life in this country.

It is just unfortunate for me to not notice this project before.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which BSC project is best for 2021? on: June 09, 2021, 07:48:32 PM
Pancakeswap would be an easy pick for me. It is one of the best DEX on BSC today and in my opinion, I also think that Pancakeswap gave a space of growth for BSC itself. Pancakeswap got the best shine when the Defi scene begins and until now thousand of users are still using it because of its other functions such as farming. I didn't make a large profit on CAKE itself but I heavily used their platform to gain some profit. Their farming
2580  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 09, 2021, 07:20:08 PM
Its always nice to play in casinos offering free satoshi to use for playing especially if you just want to try their games before making a deposit.
Im a regular player in freebitcoin and its nice to have this faucets wherein you can claim every hour with lottery tickets and reward points.
But dont also forget to read the rules because certainly it has a wagering requirement before we were able to withdraw. Anyway these lists are really great especially for newbies who are looking for casinos with faucets, its helpful.
I hate to see wager requirements being put in place for those claiming small amount of satoshis every hour. But there are abusers as well so I am not going to blame freebitcoin for the restrictions.

Earlier when I used to play I remember almost every other site had a faucet on offer like PD, Bitsler and almost every casino. I don't know which ones offer faucet now but I was wondering if bitsler coins also qualify for the list? I get some 15k BTSLR coins every ten minutes and there's a contest always going on so technically it's money you just need to have the highest balance among top 25. It's quite complicated and I don't think it qualifies for the list but when I saw JCC tokens, I thought it is worth asking Smiley

A great list and guide for the newbies so great work, Pmalek!
There are many casinos back in the day that is being abused by people and casino learned from it by putting minimum withdrawals that is basically hard to get when you only rely on their faucet. There are many casinos that removed their faucets and I don't know if it is because they are done marketing it or they are being abused. Bustabit is one of my favorite gambling sites and they are offering the best faucet but unfortunately, they are abused and forced to shut it down. I'm so glad that It is very possible to earn from faucets before.
