1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) goes up, Bitcoin stays flat or even lose value on: September 29, 2022, 02:55:04 PM
...Just look it this way, this is the first time that the SEC will lost a case against crypto projects, so this will set a precedence, "A Ripple effect" across. SEC can't file any more cases against projects and says that they are security or any projects for that matter.
You're starting to celebrate Ripple victory over the SEC too soon. Until we see the decision of the federal court in this case, we cannot claim that Ripple has won over the SEC, because we may see a completely unpredictable decision. But in any case, this decision will be used as a precedent in the future.
There is a curtain in front of the eyes of a person who is a fan of a token or a coin. XRP fans are too much involved with the coin and this blocks them from seeing the risks, well there are risks with almost every coin, except maybe bitcoin.

However, XRP has some legal ones, not just risk of what they would do but literally what SEC would do to them, which is something that is not up to XRP to decide, and that means we could see it crash without doing anything, and that's a risk that people should realize. In these cases, I always assume that the risk doesn't worth it, and if you invest into something else it would be a lot easier solution.
We can't blame them since they are a hardcore fan of XRP. Maybe they earned a significant amount of profit from shilling XRP that's why they are still doing it today. Risk is there but I think XRP fans are hoping to make there supported coin rise it's price by having their support. One thing is for sure, XRP community is strong and never fazed even with the issues it faced before.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: September 28, 2022, 05:07:09 PM
when one coin has a very drastic drop I find it difficult to pump to its initial value before the dump.
my advice when you get a profit it's better you just sell it and switch to another coin, because with the current condition LUNAc will not go up again from the current price
If you luckily gained some profit on a falling coin I agree that not going back or buying back again would be a good move knowing that having a significant drop on it's value is connected on the project fundamentals like what happened to LUNAC. It's never a good move to catch a falling knives just to risk yourself for some profits. Terra is facing a heavy problems right now and it would be better to just invest on other coins to lessen the potential risk on losing. We all know where Terra is headed today, It would be a common sense.
1963  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt Casino - New & Improved 🎰 1000+ Games, 6 BTC Welcome Bonus 🔥🃏⚽️ on: September 28, 2022, 02:17:13 PM
Welcome to the forum for bringing a new casino here.

You'll need to purchase a account copper member in order to post images that will look more appealing than text.

The name of the casino is almost the same as another casino, namely Punt.com but in terms of the interface it is also different, maybe a coincidence. lol

I want to ask after reading the FAQ at this casino, so every withdrawal will require KYC, and the withdrawal limit of $2,500 per day and $7,500 per week also requires 7 working days, so what is the minimum withdrawal, is it at least under $100 not required KYC ?

Are there rules for withdrawing funds?
Yes, but nothing too serious. The maximum withdrawal per day is currently $2,500 and $7,500 per week. Your withdrawal will be paid out within 7 business days of the withdrawal request. Also, make sure you have wagered funds before requesting a withdrawal, as this is in line with anti-money laundering policies.

You will need to provide a photo I.D. and proof of residence when requesting your cashout, so make sure you have these on hand to speed up the process.

They have created a new ANN Thread, They have an existing ANN thread but it seems they encountered some problems and issues on their first ANN thread like then decided to create a new account and new thread. It seems that they have revamped their casino and edited the TOS especially on the KYC part since most post on their old thread mentioned KYC is a bit confusing. I think they should just edit their old thread about their new update.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: September 28, 2022, 01:34:14 PM
For newbies is a copied whitepaper still a red flag for projects? I heard they don't matter much anymore because big projects do the same thing too, if two projects have the same goals or utility one can copy the other, change some few words here and there?

What advice can you give me based on this? Is it right to say, yo any project that has a whitepaper that looks like another project is a scam or  bad for investment.
Idea is normally copied even outside crypto though having a copied whitepaper is a red flag for most of us knowing that the team don't put much effort in producing their plan and thinking about their utility. Most copied projects are just the improvement of the original one but they hardly beat the other one because of the way of the implementation and the way that the original team build their project. Original project ideas won't go down easily compared to those who are just copy cats.
1965  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 28, 2022, 12:55:04 PM
If someone bet high amount (20k)+ on this casino and win  like 2-5x time more his money.

would the casiino pay him or find excuse not to pay and ban his account?

It all depends upon the nature and credibility of the site. If the site is credible, has a good reputation and history, and your claim is genuine & doesn't contain any fraud or cheating, they would pay you your winning amount and cannot refuse the payout against the same. Also, if you have any bad experiences of this nature, you can post them in the relevant section.
Well credibility is one of the most thing that a casino is taking care, Refusing to pay a legitimate win would result a very negative impact to them.  OP is pertaining to duelbits and I think duelbits has some reputation that they are taking care, Though there's a high chance that they will ask for KYC if the gambler withdraws the maximum account that is allowable.
1966  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: September 27, 2022, 03:31:13 PM
Wala akong bitcoin pero satoshi lang ang meron ako feel ko nga is isa din sa mga regrets ko is yung masyado kong pinag bebenta lahat ng binili kong murang bitcoin at iba pang coin kasi nga solid naging pump nito last ATH nya tsaka di din naman natin masasabi pwedeng mangyari sa market eh kaya risk taking nalang din ang pwede mangyari dito, pero ngayong upcoming bull run for sure marami sa atin ang mag grab ng chance at opportunity na makakuha ng good profit this halving.
Well almost all of us is ganto nangyari ehhh. Dami satin ang ginamit ang BTC or ibang assets nila as their daily expenses in life, Sure ako na maraming kagaya natin na nag reregret not keeping their BTC in their own wallet. Dami ko din natutunan about market cycle and regrets about sa mga mali kong ginawa dahil sa pag benta ko ng BTC ehh. Surely next bull market alam na natin ang gagawin especially ngayon na medyo down ang market, We still have chance to accumulate pa naman. Lesson learned lang talaga para satin yung wrong moves natin.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 26, 2022, 03:31:59 PM
I believe everybody has their worst day in gambling especially if you started gambling early maybe in your teenage age. My worst day was when I used my school fees to gamble because I thought I will make more money to take care of some of my needs in school. At the beginning I was making profit for 2hrs,I was carried away with the anxiety of winning but later the game turned round and I was losing and losing,I didn't quit hoping I will recover my lost. Before I knew it I was left with 10% of the money I started with, I couldn't just quit the game then because I still feel I will start winning again but luck failed me and I got drained of all I have on me.

Two weeks later it was announced in school that we only had one more week left for closure of school fees payment, I tried borrowing, seek for help everywhere but nobody could help me with the money.  This was how I couldn't pay my fee for that semester and went home with carry overs after the end of the semester as I was not allowed to write some exams.

How about you do you had a worst day on gambling  that you will never forget ?Did it affect an aspect of your life and how ?

Your worst day start from the moment you start spending your money playing gambling with your tuition fee. You should atleast saved up the 10% of thge money you started with and risk it on another day given that you are under pressure recovering the funds you lost from your gambling session. Bad days on gambling is inevitable but we can counter it by managing the risk. Risking your tuition fee is an immediate lose in my opinion. No one would let you borrow money knowing that you lost your money on gambling, Trust me no one will risk their money for someone who tends to roll their money on a casino.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: September 26, 2022, 02:12:14 PM
Jake Paul can fight and I think Jake Paul is picking an opponents that has a relevant history on being a champion or has a great title. We all know that Anderson Silva had a terrible leg injury that made his long winning streak over, I think his leg injury affected his whole MMA career given that he experience multiple losses after he lost his winning streak. This affects his agility in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, Anderson Silva is a great boxer and he has experience to it. I think he still has the fire to beat Jake Paul on a boxing ring, So my bet is on Anderson Silva if ever this exhibition match happened.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why have so many platforms delisted Polygon tokens? on: September 26, 2022, 12:00:57 AM
Just like others, I haven't found any article and stories about the delisting of polygon tokens on an exchange, Even small exchanges will make a news about it given that they can take a chance in making themselves on headline for a while but no one have did it. I think OP might have seen a maintenance or the exchange is fixing some problems regaeding polygon just like what binance is doing when there's a certain problem or a very very heavy traffic just like what they did on LUNA.
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: September 25, 2022, 11:16:43 PM
I'm not expecting too much in the merge, people know what might happen and everyone seems to expect that prices will soar up. I have some ethereum right now but I honestly don't expect too much in the merge to affect the ETH price immediatly, Just like bitcoin halving, the effect might come sooner or later. I'm also holding my ETH for the future, selling at low price will be an immediate loss.
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Good Crypto Exchanges With Cheap Listing Fees on: September 25, 2022, 03:30:38 PM
Hello I am looking for a reputable crypto exchange with good 24 hr. volume/trading and a fairly reasonably priced or free listing. If you have any with some of their listing prices or fees please list them here below. Thanks again.
Decentralized exchange should be your first option given that you are aiming for cheap or free listing. Centralized exchanges especially those who are reputable or on top of the list are charging a high pitch price. Commonly, Small or starting projects are first getting listed on decentralized exchange knowing that they don't have much capital to invest into listing. Also, It's not worth on putting your token on a low tier centralized exchange given that people or traders are avoiding that because of the small reputation they have.
1972  Economy / Gambling / Re: I play on dueblits on strip club and win on: September 25, 2022, 02:42:55 PM
It's been a long time since I've seen post like this  Grin I can't believe that OP provides proofs about his experiences that night. I guess I won't get envy of you. Though I can't see myself being on a the same situation playing gambling while waiting for something to happen, I personally think it's distracting given that you're on a strip club where distractions are everywhere.

Congrats on winning and the fun you have on that night!
1973  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 24, 2022, 07:20:32 PM
I've seen some KYC issues around here, I advise OP to remove the NO KYC on the title because it might lead into confusion knowing that you are asking KYC for suspicious account just like any other casinos. NO KYC is a strong word now and putting it on a title could make a ANN thread attractive though it can make a misunderstanding just like what happened here. I promise you that it can lead in a big issue in the future given that you have a no verification(no kyc) on your website but required KYC on suspicious account on TOS.

Aside from KYC I like how your casino focus on e-sports game. With most common and famous game out there where competitiveness is focused. I'm sure there will be improvement on the website soon. Welcome to the forum!
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good news or a bad news on: September 24, 2022, 06:41:31 PM
It can be a goods news or bad news to you depending on your current situation, There might be a small price drop but I believe it can be sustained knowing that USDT is a largely traded pair. If they got audited and they are proven to be giving false declaration, The situation will be changed.

There are a lot of rumors and accusations on tether before that the coins they are minting are not backed 1:1 and I believed that there are some who stopped using tether because of that issues. It's a serious issue that can make USDT depegged.

1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: September 24, 2022, 08:06:39 AM
Anyone here played games like FGO, Epic Seven, or Summoners War before? Do you consider it to be some kind of gambling addiction if a player whales or spend tons of money in the game just to get a certain item?

For those who don't know, a gacha game is a genre of video game where players pull, spin, or roll using an in-game currency to receive a random item. That item can be something that could make their characters stronger or sometimes it's just some limited skin which has no effect other than to make their characters look cooler.
I'm a gamer and I like playing different game genre including gatcha games. Currently I'm playing Ni No Kuni, A crypto gatcha MMORPG game that has been on the market recently. I really enjoy pulls but I haven't tried doing a massive pulls where whales are spending so much money on it to get their desired items. Gatcha game concepts are in here long time ago and it is still thriving till now because of the excitement on every gatcha pulls we are doing.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go home with a profit and come back to end up losing a lot. on: September 24, 2022, 07:41:38 AM
A friend of mine works in a casino (land-based) and he told me yesterday that there was a client who with a stroke of luck won a good amount, about $8k. He exchanged the chips for cash and went home. After about half an hour, my friend sees him walk back in the door and went on a gambling binge all the night, only to end up losing his winnings and more.

At the end of the session he signed the self-exclusion.

If it weren't for the fact that this person is going through a drama, the story would make you want to laugh.

Has this ever happened to you or do you know of cases like this?
Pretty good example of gamblers who can't satisfy themselves and also being attacked by their own greed. We can't deny that there are many gamblers on a real casino who overspend their time playing and ended losing it all. We know that the more we spend our time on a casino is the more chance that casino will make money from us. I've experienced the same thing when I was still a gambling addict before and honestly it's hard to resist the urge to overspend my time and keep playing again knowing that the luck is on my side. Having a good gambler mindset or putting your own up could reduce the chance of this happening.

I agree with this, Di natin maitangi na mas convenient gamitin ang gcash both business owners and customers. For sure maraming merchants dun na widely accepted ang Gcash and mas prefer ito gamitin. One way na naiisip ko para malabanan ito ng mayt gusto gawing Crypto-Island ang boracay ay ang pag offer ng promos using crypto payment. First time ko marinig yung Pouch wallet and I think very bold and aggressive move yung ginagawa nila ngayon sa boracay. I think effective naman given na nakilala natin yung Pouch wallet and may mga articles na din about their plan na gawing Crypto-island ang boracay.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 23, 2022, 05:24:57 PM
I believe you will get asked to provide KYC because China is very strict country and want to control anything, they even ban Bitcoin due to decentralized nature and can't be controlled. I wouldn't use any technology about chinese version of metaverse because I don't think it's has a difference with virtual reality (VR). Also not sure if they will create and launch their own metaverse since there's a lot discussion until now but there's no realization.
I think KYC is possible given that Casino's have their license and needs to abide the rules they are bonded, These applies on China casino as well. There will be differences but we can't tell yet if AR metaverse can compete with VR metaverse. I think they do have plans on being one of first who will make a metaverse and it is known that Chinese apps today can level other International apps today like US made apps.
1980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 23, 2022, 04:45:08 PM
With the experienced I gained for the years I've been into cryptospace, I guess I'm mentally prepared on what might happen in bitcoin in the future. I've been into different scenarios which I made a mistake that leads into selling bitcoins at a loss price. Experiencing too many mistake and too many bitcoin breakdowns leads me into my current state right now. I'm confident on buying Bitcoin and keeping them for a long time.

This is a good thread for newbies who are seeking advice in their crypto journey, But always remember not spend money that you can't afford to lose. I've been there, trust me it's a bad experience.
