2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitgert or Shiba on: September 18, 2022, 02:02:24 PM
Both tokens have their own risk to offer. But as we that having a high risk is equal in having high reward and having low risk means low reward. Given that Bitgert still haven't reach the feat of what shibaInu achieve means it's a little bit riskier than Shiba Inu given that it's marketcap is far from shibaInu, the potential of the project haven't showed yet and community is much smaller than ShibaInu. If I will choose between the two, I will personally take the less risky path, ShibaInu community proved themselves about being serious with their meme coin.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Testnet hunters on here? on: September 18, 2022, 01:42:03 PM
I know some people in that is doing testnet hunts last year and even now, I can testify that they earned some reward  from participating in it. I heard it's on arbitrum It's a new airdrop in my own opinion that has some specific requirements to be eligible. I've also tried participating on one testnet  but I failed to get my reward due to being incompetent.
2003  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Crypto's Finest Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS! | VIP 💸🚀🎲🔥 on: September 16, 2022, 09:37:26 PM
I registered on the site and I tried chating the live support up trying to check how active they are since I have been reading comments about the low activeness, but to my surprise, the support responded to me in less than 10 seconds, and this shows that ther e have been some improvement in that direction which is a good thing for a new casino.

I guess you came at the right time, that's why you got a very fast response from the live support.
But can you prove what you have just said with a screenshot like what is done by GamblingBro, so we will be more sure about your claim.
I do not mean to be supporting the feedback by GamblingBro than yours, but it would be much more appreciated if you can show a proof.

I just online now to try there live support. The estimated time of reply is now under 2minutes and the chat response of support is now almost instant to back up @Rilawan feedback for the live support response rate. The improvement is very noticeable because the last time I inquire in live support took them more than 30minutes before an agent answer my question. Good thing that Punt is very serious on taking notes all the feedbacks here to immediately apply in the casino.

You can try it for yourself to test the casino for the improvement.
That's a very good start from this casino. Honestly 2 minutes reply from a support is outstanding for me, knowing that I'm considering a 15 minutes reply a fast reply from a support chat. Improvement for such short time is a good way to improve reputation, also listening to the community suggestions and implementing it is one of the most thing that the community likes.
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 16, 2022, 09:14:42 PM
Let's be honest, money laundering is the best thing that can happen to a casino and there is where most of high rollers comes from. I have seen some rollers in the past that runs some huge scams and then go to the casinos to play with the scammed money and with that justify where they get the money from after hitting some huge wins.

Nowadays most casinos has KYC, but i don't think that is enough to stop the money laundering, what casinos should do is to investigate the source of the deposits to fight against this illegal activity, but that will not happen because is a win-win game from them.

So, what do you say, does crypto casinos really care about money laundering?

I am not sure we can equate money laundering as the same as scammed money. Both are illegal, sure, but that still does not have anything to do with the other. If you get caught with scammed money then obviously that money will be seized. As far as money laundering goes, it might not be allowed to be seized by the casino unless they recieve an order from the police to seize the laundered money, but you will still get into trouble with the law.

I doubt any online or offline gambling casino, whether crypto based or fiat based, cares about enforcing the law. They do it because they have to. Of course they would rather make more profit and not give any of their players up if they had a choice.
Gambling casinos are here for business and profits so that's the only thing they will care the most. If bettors come with huge funds to bet, regardless if it came from money laundering or not, as long as they passed the KYC and yet no alarm from authorities, then it won't be tracked for sure since gambling casinos are mostly concern for their own profits, and having high rollers to play in them will create more chances for them to gain big profits that time.
Of course business is business, Casino want to gain profit from you whether the money is dirty or not. If they are being suspicious of you, They can easily flag the account and ask KYC and as long as their reputation won't be affected they won't care that much.

I'm just thinking what might happen if the gambler use dirty money, withdraw it given that the gambler passed KYC and having no standing warrant at that current time. and the casino let the gambler withdraw. Will there be a chance that the casino be caught red handed by the authorities even the gambler withdraw his funds 2 months after?
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to LUNC after its founder is arrested?! on: September 16, 2022, 08:18:58 PM
Hello,

I read today's news that South Korea has arrested the founder of Terra Do Kwon and five other people because the founder of Terra Luna is facing allegations of violating the country's capital markets law
I hope that the Luna Classic coin will not be affected by this news of the arrest, it is sad to be surprised by this news after the Luna Classic coin witnessed great heights and delighted the crypto community Sad

What do you guys think?
What is the fate of the Luna Classic coin after the arrest of Do Kwon? Will after this bad news investors will continue to HODL the LUNC coin?

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/south-korea-issues-arrest-warrant-for-terra-founder-do-kwon
It could possible be a dead project with no developer or a successor will inherit the failing project. If Do Kwon is arrested, I'm sure Luna Classic value will be affected especially that Terra community is very uncertain right now. I don't expect much from that failing project, People are just taking advantage right now at Terra but I don't see people who will b e attached to it's main project idea after the it failed it's project fundamental.
2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: September 16, 2022, 07:34:10 PM
if you have a high rank here do a bounty better they pay a fixed price or a lot of tokens if you follow the signature campaign. while the airdrop is also not bad, unfortunately none of them can really be guaranteed success in the future or just disappear. we have to accept the risk.
The one problem here is more and more bounty campaigns are not including signature campaign as part of their promotions. It's also pretty rare to see a bounty campaign paying on a fixed dollar value reward in their signature campaign. Bounty campaign is more efficient on social media campaign I guess? or is it the bounty manager choice not to include it?
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which token should I use for my investment ? on: September 16, 2022, 07:07:28 PM
The question about the best token investment was made a few months ago, and today almost all altcoins are permanently falling over and over again. Only a rare few have managed to rise in this bear market. This once again confirms the theory that investing in altcoins is a big risk and actually a casino.
In my eyes, I haven't see any coin whose prices have risen in this bearish market . I agree with that the new altcoins is very risky for investment in this current situation except the top pairs like - BNB , Etherium, Lite coin , Solana . I don't think here any risk for the long-term investment . But it would be best to buy Bitcoin whether it is for long term investment or short term investment.
Most coins are expected to have a lower value from their all time high value this bear market, Even bitcoin have fallen tough it's not permanent. Remember that we have a market cycle and those who have low fundamental projects are the one who will keep depreciating it's value. Top coins such as BNB, Ethereum, Solana has a great fundamentals and community to support it's coins value that why it's not falling too much compared to other coins. Every coin in this market has risk even on long term, and we just need to balance the risk by picking a good coin, fully understand how it works and trust their team so we can choose what type of risk are we facing.
2008  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bear Market thread on: September 16, 2022, 05:07:25 PM
Palagay ko baka konti na lang din ang epekto ng merging ng Ethereum sa market dahil nga nasa bearish sentiments parin tayo.

Medyo di nga nag-build up ng hype.

Hindi dapat talaga ginagamit pang invest ang funds na allocated for emergency funds, saving and other types. Personal rule ko is spare funds or investing funds lang yung mapupunta sa investment. If you have emergency funds, Wag na wag mo galawin yan unless na emergency talaga. Anticipated din natin na yung bull market is mangyayari pa few years from now, So long term investment yung mangyayari. About ETH, I think na in few months pa mag tatake effect yung merge and dun natin mararamdaman yung price bump given na nag bago sila ng mechanism.

~~

Mukang nakakaakit talaga yung reward for this season and possible makapasok ka sa top as long as you are willing to invest for the runes and charms. Panigurado, baka yng 1437 is magtop ulit kase marame na syang pera panginvest sa mga runes. Well, kung ganito na talaga ang labanan i think more gamers will be attracted here and panigurado marami ang magbabalik because of this. If you are still ok to risk some money with axie, siguro worth it ulit itry ito. Pagaralan ko nga itong origin why I still have time, baka kayanin ang mga runes and sabe ng friend ko, sa market place den pwede ka kumita ng malaki.
Ang skill sa pag lalaro ay syempre included padin. Remember before na kahit yung meta axies is natatalo padin at karamihan sa mga meta axies before is wala sa leaderboards. I think there's a possibility padin makapasok sa leaderboards as long as magaling ka mag laro. Though if competitive ka like gusto mo yung top 10, Need talaga ng runes and charms kasi sobrang steep ng competition dun. Same brother di na din ako updated masyado sa origin and even yung marketplace is iba na itchura compared before.
2010  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: September 15, 2022, 08:47:54 PM
For some of the reasons that you stated 348Judah, it would be unjust for El Salvador to reverse it' having already had implemented their bitcoin as legal tender law.  It would not be impossible, but it would likely create injustices to rescind such legal tender law before at least giving it a chance to succeed.
El Salvador has remained consistent with its decision on Bitcoin as legal tender even though the IMF has urged to overturn the legislation, but the first year after Bitcoin legal tender is still drawing criticism for Bukele for the impact of Bitcoin price on bear markets, many news sources have downplayed its decision but when the next bullish phase then they will regret that their country still "ban cryptocurrencies". El Salvador is very lucky to have cryptocurrency because Bitcoin is higher than any other currency, when it reaches its bullish phase they will applaud Bukele's decision
Surprisingly they are really indeed having that solid decision in terms of bitcoin accumulation despite on whatever market condition that we are facing on.They dont really mind if its dumping or bears
as long they could accumulate as much as they could. Its not really that something bad on which the President is doing but he should really mind the situation of its citizens whether these decisions
were feasible and something that could really give out positive impact in overall.
I guess Bukele is looking forward in the future where there could be a chance that bitcoin will overturn their current struggles right now. The lower bitcoin go is the heavier their country will suffer, His country man are currently suffering from what Bukele introduced to them but his name could easily be flipped when we enter the bull market and bitcoin rise. Bukele just did a gamble with his country and we might know what might happen to them in the future.
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 15, 2022, 08:17:00 PM
The most Awaited event finally Happened and world no 2 coin Ethereum now became Proof of stake. It was risk for Ethereum to down more than 20% because of huge sell in proof of work but everything is fine now and Ethereum price not dumped much. Now next step for Vitalik to do some big for fee because transaction fee is same like before. Transaction speed is now ok but fee is biggest issue for Ethereum for some years

I don't see a massive selling happening right now but I think miner GPU's will be over flowing in the market in the next few weeks once miners realize that mining is not much profitable. Don't get me wrong, There are still minable tokens but those aren't profitable as much as ETH so maybe other miners are trying to keep their GPU for as long as they can. Though I've seen used mining GPU selling in the market right now at a low cost and I think it can go lower once miners released their GPU's.
2012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They have the team and good idea but they choose the wrong name on: September 15, 2022, 07:44:40 PM
This is a very common maneuver which is done by some malicious developers to try to create some sort of connection between a project that is popular and their own, and unfortunately this is something that happens to a lot of projects, this happened to bitcoin and I remember there was even a coin which had bitcoin in its name and yet it ran above the ethereum network, so whenever you see that the developers of a project take a decision like that you must stay away from that project.
And in the end, they all just fail. And all projects carrying the name Doge will never win the trust of the investors, they will probably just be ignored. But I'm sure that the developers and the team are already aware of the situation, however, they never take action and still keep that name. Well, maybe they really don't have the intention to make this project succeed but probably to scam us.
Not really a wise choice of the name but unfortunately, they use to have this and that is what they've got - full of criticism.
It is obvious that by choosing that kind of name they never had any intention of achieving long term success, and this is what many newbies simply do not understand no matter how many times we try to tell them the truth, however there is also a sector of people that do not really care about this either because they are not thinking about investing those coins for the long term and instead they are just interested in speculating with them, and for them as long as they get profits they could care less about anything else.
You have a point, There are a motive that they don't intend to last long. Creating a own brand is one of the biggest dreams of a CEO and collaborating with the projects with hype is justifiable but straight up copying the name and offering the Co-founder of the branding they are copying is just crazy. Those sector you are pertaining is I think the degens, Those who are diving up on a project that has a high risk of being a scam as long as there are profits.
2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to choose an online casino? on: September 15, 2022, 03:10:17 PM
I've been playing online casino slot machines for a while now, and I'm looking for advice on which ones are the best. I like to play the ones with lots of different payouts and bonuses, but sometimes the games take a long time to load. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Basically a casino that offers the type of game your are playing (slots) and the reputation that the casino has. There are many reputable casino that still doing promotions  but not as lucrative as new casino. Though most casino has slots nowadays and I think those games can be load on a short amount of time. Stake is one of my bet if I will choose a casino that involve slots.

Hello guy´s

Sometimes I trigger a KYC for a player who I suspect of running a alternative account. Simple as that.
A simple answer for a simple question. Let's hope that this answers the future question about blackjack.fun flagging accounts for KYC. Having a required KYC on your account simply means you are doing something wrong and needs a validation by doing KYC. There are many of us who haven't get flagged once for KYC so if you get flagged it be suspicious on things you are doing.
2015  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: September 14, 2022, 08:13:12 PM
Got my withdrawal. To summarize, I like Betnomi casino, but until someone from the management gives me a guarantee that the payments will be made no longer than 24 hours, I will not make deposits.
You can try to contact them in their support and ask if they can guarantee the payment will not last longer than 24 hours. Honestly, 24 hours withdrawal is for me a very long time. I've played and withdraw on betnomi multiple time but It didn't came to the point that my withdrawal last for 24 hours and even on other casinos. Maybe they are trying to verify you because you got a more than a week delay on your withdrawal before. Maybe for now they won't last as long as 24 hours for you because they already verified you before.
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling let down by crypto Play to Earn gaming sector ? on: September 14, 2022, 07:37:53 PM
With DeFi projects struggling to regain trust since LUNA's collapse, and the current bear market I think this was the perfect time for the play to earn gaming sector to explode, or at least to gain traction in the way Axie Infinity did in early 2021. Sadly just there aren't any exciting offerings right now that I can see... Illuvium and Star Atlas, two of the first "AAA" games in the space are still in development, and may be for another year or so. I heard Marvel was getting into the space with their own breed of games soon, but so far ... nothing, same goes for "Swords of Blood", another AAA game that is still in development.
I mean, it looks like 2024 will be a great year for crypto play to earn games when these games get released, but what do we have now, 2022 ?  DeFi Kingdoms ? TownStar ? My Neighbour Alice ? Gods Unchained ? Yes we have those ( unless I'm mistaken ) and they kinddaaa look interesting but to be honest they can't possibly compete for users with the mainstream games currently out there, which will cost you money and won't earn you a penny. Let's face it, some of us older gamers here don't have many spare hours a day , maybe one hour, and if that hour will earn me $20 and looks kind of lame or childish, I rather spend that hour playing something that looks amazing or intricate or fun , even if it costs me money. So it's a long shot for Gaming studios like Gala Games or Vulcan Forged to try to lure new gamers into the space in 2022 -2023 with the current lineup of childish and lame games we have.
Bad Tokenomy is one of the reason why those games failed aside from being low tier graphic games. As we know, There are so so many low quality games that have been introduced to the market and most of them are brought by hype. Those games surely did acquired amazing marketcap but it didn't last long because of their unsustainable token model. Most of the people who entered to those games are just aiming for the profits and not because of the game. There are so many boring games that have acquired the spotlight like MyDefiPets, CryptoBlades and other that flop. I don't include axie infinity because I think they are successful in the market despite of the hate and the token value they have right now, They are still doing progress and it is the important thing to have in this early gameFi stage.

2017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 14, 2022, 06:34:24 PM
Today there is shocking news about the founder of Terra Luna, that the South Korean court has issued an arrest warrant for Do Kwon as the founder of Terra which resulted in the price dropping to below 1 cent, this will really affect the price in the market and is unlikely to be a recovery if there is news that this bad.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/09/14/s-korean-court-issues-arrest-warrant-against-terra-co-founder-do-kwon-report/

It's been said a lot before it's been really tough about this Terra Luna recovery they have become a bad shitcoin but somehow the community still I believe in this token.
I expect some law suits and arrest warrant from Do Kwon and other Terra project heads. They have the hottest issue within crypto community now and the eyes of people are on them, I'm sure that there are people who really want Do Kwon to go in jail that's why they are finding any thing that can be used against Do Kwon and the team. I also don't understand why community still believe in this token and still supporting it, Maybe the profit they can potentially get from it I guess?
2018  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Crypto's Finest Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS! | VIP 💸🚀🎲🔥 on: September 14, 2022, 06:07:04 PM
I think it's pretty early to tell. There's a chance that it is a payed influencer since he has the most videos on punt instagram account but who knows. I've seen good winnings and highlights on their instagram account and I think they are trying to get some traction thru it. This casino is somehow new but let's hope they are planning to be one of the biggest since those who aim high stays the longest.
I think that what we should expect this gambling to do is to make a genuine way for that people will you like to bet with them instead of emphasizing on Instagram and the telegram issues and secondly the thing that understand that to make a platform of gambling to the biggest among all is sincerity and also not to delay for payment especially deposit and withdrawal, very simple and understanding
As long as they don't have any issues with their gamblers about problem and they don't do what gamblers hate, I'm sure they will strive. Doing Instagram post is normal given that they are promoting their casino and doing marketing. Social media now is the biggest outlet for marketing and I'm not shocked if they are doing it on Instagram. I think they are on the early path of becoming a great casino and it's too early to tell what can be their outcome. As I said, It's only a chance that they are paying that influencer. If it's paid so be it, It's their marketing strategy as long as they can get a result from their marketing strategy and good for business they won't care. As long as we gamblers don't have any problem with them, They will be fine.
2019  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🪄 arcanebet.com 🪄 Your new favourite Crypto Casino 🎲 on: September 14, 2022, 05:31:17 PM
On a completely different note, are you (reader), willing to perform KYC when being offered an appealing bonus? For example, a deposit bonus with fair rollover/wager terms. One of the main reasons attractive deposit bonuses are not common in the crypto space is that they are highly abusable when no KYC is required. It would be great to hear your opinions.

This is a great question. It's easy to see why you ask it, of course... As far as the research I have done, the majority of players in the crypto space is concerned, KYC is either extremely unpopular or dead on arrival. KYC procedures can help prevent abuse, but they are no silver bullet. However, legal compliance has its requirements as well.

With that said, money talks, after all; so if people see that something is valuable and desirable, they could be willing to go through KYC (if it's easy and not intrusive) for the chance at a reward. I don't think many of the players will see it as a downside.

Yes, I'm willing to pass identity verification (KYC) if I'm offered an appealing bonus with fair rollover/wager requirements.

KYC is needed by the casino for them not to be abused but at the same time, There are gamblers who are not willing to do a KYC. This is why there are some casinos are offering bonuses or doing promotion on gamblers who are willing to abide KYC.

Though, I think leaving an option for gamblers who don't want to do KYC is for me a good thing. There are many gamblers who don't want to do a KYC and many casinos now are requiring their players to do KYC, This could potentially increase their player traffic.

NO KYC = NO BONUS, KYC =  BONUS. Gamblers need some options.
2020  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 13, 2022, 10:08:28 PM
Think that someday you won a big amount of money and you thought that you're lucky and this amount will change your fortune and all of sudden, the site asks to verify your phone number or documents, and you're left with nothing as you provided the wrong details.  If you want to fortify your money, then you may take chances, but I will not recommend using a fake identity where you are putting your real money.
I can't understand why so many users are still discussing this subject. Roobet made passing level-1 KYC mandatory long time ago. By submitting fake information, the user is not only risking to lose his coins but he is literally cheating (there is no other word to describe it). Of course, there is no way to prevent people from doing it but they need to assume the consequences when they get caught, and they will.
If you don't want to verify your identity then look for a casino which do not require it.
For the sign up and other promotion I guess? This has been happening for a long time, Cheaters and abusers are doing this to earn that bonus that the casino is offering. I think Mandatory level 1 KYC is one of Roobet counter measure so that if cheaters and abusers are caught, Roobet can verify them.

I guess those abusers can't be stopped by the alluring promotions of Roobet. I think it's not worth the risk of abusing the casino over few dollars.
