2561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: November 06, 2022, 01:16:12 PM
One of the problems of personal trading strategy is that it need to be evaluated constantly to cross check if it is still active for a better analysis.
All of the strategies that you'll try in trading will have to be evaluated by you as you're the one who tests and tries it.

And if it's not showing good results, you just evaluate it that it's not for you and you have to try another strategy that will work perfectly for you.

Just keep on testing strategies that could be the best for you as you trade it personally and work on it as your personal strat to work with.

Yup! it's only you who can say if the strategy that you are using will work or if you need to adjust and change it from time to time.

A lot of patterns you can look upon but it's always depending on how you take your position and how you execute your strategy.

More on self-assessment and how will you keep improving your strategy to a much better and fit with your trading styles.
It's easy to assess ourselves if the strategies we're testing are working for us but if not, it's better to stop it but keep on finding the strategy that will suit your way of trading.

Don't give up if you want to be a profitable trader because not everyone will be someday and it's not that easy. Those who don't give up and find their best strategies to adopt are the ones who are likely to make from it.

2563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 05, 2022, 11:25:53 AM
Online casinos and sports betting platforms are big businesses like we all know, and currently considering the economic situation of things around the world many businesses are affected and have been taking measures to cut costs in terms of reducing staff, taking loans etc to still be able to sustain operations. How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?
They've got for sure a lot of pool for their supporting funds. If there's any problem that has been met regards to their budget, there will be something that they'll pull from their company's huge fund pocket.

As you've said, they are big businesses and they've planned all of it and foreseen some ugly things that may meet their business. And if it does, they're all prepared for it so, there's nothing for them to worry about but, as looking to the entire business and industry of gambling, it's one of the industries that are recovering, especially the physical ones.
2564  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC always Decouple on: November 05, 2022, 09:48:20 AM
my conclusion is BTC decouple most of the equity markets. BTC has own way. So lets trust the timeline
We will see but most likely that it's hard to see that it decouple from the traditional markets. There's always been the attachment of those and bitcoin whenever there's something good or bad that happens.

Just like now S&P 500 is up 1.36% and the same goes for bitcoin that has been up from $20k to $21k so quick.

And you'll see that even we don't like it to be correlated to these markets, we can really see the significance.
2565  Economy / Economics / Re: friend I want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto. to meet their living a on: November 05, 2022, 08:22:53 AM
I have calculated to put bitcoin into an interest account of centralized platforms, the first cons of it is that it's highly risky. Yeah, it's interesting and happy to see that you're gaining profit but at the same time, the risk is there.

It may take time until someone will earn bitcoin a living if he's just starting out. There are many ways of doing it for a living, like those miners and traders.
2566  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: November 04, 2022, 11:23:23 PM
And yeah, many scammers, or frustrated gambling addicts are coming here and accusing various sites in something that hasn't happened, but they are easily spotted by the community.
True!

When someone feels innocent and thought of that he's been refused to get paid by the casino with his assumed "winnings". On the other side, he's just a frustrated gambler that wants to take back his loses.

But eventually, everyone from the community finds out that he's in no position to accused the casino because everything went well and according to the process and the thing is that, he just lost.

If he can show proof that he is clean and he is unjustly accused of cheating then he has a case, there are instances or cases where the accused is innocent its the casino's fault, everything depends on the proof, but if you have a good case it's better that you have it against a casino with a good reputation because they are more than willing to correct their mistakes, gives the money back and even compensate the complainant.
It's in general.

There are gamblers that would play victim and try to discredit the casinos that they're playing with but, the reality is distorted by them and they're making it look how bad they are.

actually it is not frustrations instead that is worth a claim? because when you literally knew that you are fair and legit gambler and being accused  cheating or denied being paid then all we wanted is to sue that site for our money and that is reality of action.
That's for another case that's really happening in the community, I've seen bunch of them posting here and getting the sympathy of the community but then, they're found to be at wrong.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 04, 2022, 10:15:46 PM
About minimum withdrawal, as long as it's not crazy to reach then it's fine. For that, it's a good habit to read the terms about deposit and withdrawal and try to check what are the minimum in order not to be surprised. If not mentioned on terms, contact the support.
Usually for the minimum withdrawal, it's written on the withdrawal slip or page and that's an easy find to do.

For some casinos, in terms of deposit, they're offering an instant confirmation or zero confirmation and your deposit can be used already on them to gamble as soon as it's reflecting on their network's address.

But it can't be implemented by most since there's a drawback there and it could lose them funds.
2568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: November 04, 2022, 09:15:32 PM
The foundation that bitcoin have has been set very well and that's why it's the most preferred choice. It's top in the market and was the first born crypto in the market. Forget about those failed crypto tests before it and let's just say it's the first one.

While the best thing about it is being volatile and having a limited supply, that what makes me hold it for a long time. The halving is also one of the greatest factors and features of it that makes the price appreciate every cycle.
2569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management: How to set a Stop Loss on: November 04, 2022, 11:55:17 AM
Not only spot traders but also the margin traders. I've seen a few of them in a certain trading group that they've forgotten to do it and then they're liquidated.

With just simple mistake of forgetting of setting an SL, their funds have been burned and liquidated.

All of those experiences are burying to each other and that's making them learn that setting it is important.
Unfortunately margin and future traders are taking a huge risk if they don't use a stop loss. Normally in a spot trading you could lose maybe 10-20% in a day at max when you do not look, there are situations where it's going to be more but it's rare, which means that we are not going to see it go down that much.

But with a futures or margin trade, you could lose 100% if you are not careful and there are plenty of people who are not careful at all. That is why it's quite important to use stop loss when you have a chance to lose all of your investment in a single minute if you are not careful. I personally only trade in spot, but still use stop loss carefully if I ever need it.
The scary part of that is that they will really lose everything if they've missed to stop loss. That will be a hard lesson for them that they'll learn eventually when they've forgotten that.

I've seen not just one, not just two but many of the margin traders to have forgotten to set it and they've lost everything.

We don't know what's with their agreement but I think that T1 will take the advantage of having him on their organization. And it's likely that they'll offer him everything they can just to retain him.

If Topson wants to play in the EU then T1 can just migrate there and be based there whoever is going to be added to the team.

Most teams want him because he's still one of the best mid players and having that individual skill makes him unique and desirable for most of them.
There's no problem on topson on why T1 didnt able to make it through the internationals, it is really just the other members of the team which do really lacks out on playing their roles efficiently.
I wont be surprised if T1 will really be doing or offering the best that they could on holding topson or retaining him on the team.
Kuku had already been looking for another team which does simply means that there are potential team mates that could be patch up and hope it would be
a good offlaner + having a good coach which would really be potentially make T1 team more even better.
The chemistry is what I think that they lack of. They've just been within a few weeks before the TI qualifiers and that's why it didn't clicked. Unlike with their past team as the old roster of OG, they've been together for quite a while and that's why they still click.

Just as the EU great coaches and players are talking about SEA, they've said that what SEA is lacking is a good captain.

Well, the shuffle starts, beastcoast and Thunder Awaken has already switched some players.
2572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: November 03, 2022, 01:07:32 PM
Next halving is in 2024, not 2022.

But thinking of $1M is unreal if we're on the current days. $1M is possible but we don't know how long it shall take since the market has been growing and more adoption is occurring.

Well, it could be quicker than expected just like the last bull run that no one has ever thought it will be huge and would surpass a past ATH.
Its totally unreal or people should rather be expecting on something which is on realistic side at least.Im not saying that Bitcoin doesnt have the potential but it would be rather on sticking on numbers

which turns out to be that near on the current ATH which $100k would be something realistic and talking on maximum of 200k but its true that no one really knows on when it would gonna happen

because on that value which does indicate that we do really need that adoption on higher scale or something that correlates with recognition which is something that cant happen
on a short period of time.
Sky is the limit but it will require a lot of years until we see that ceiling. But for now, I agree that we should be realistic with the numbers and $100k is realistic and many thought that last bull run may reach it.

$200k is going to be the speculated peak if ever we see bitcoin hits $100k.

But as of now, we're not yet there and will have to be more patient because this bear market might take a year and a half more.
2573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management: How to set a Stop Loss on: November 03, 2022, 10:19:19 AM
spot traders sometimes forget the cut loss function. I sometimes only trade regular spots without using a cut loss target. it is risky to lose more if the market situation goes against our predictions. I've experienced it myself.
so for those who still remember the use of cut loss, I think you will be fine with your trades. even though we lose, we can plan according to our ability to be able to lose.

Topson wants to go back to the strongest region now, EU. And he's on the hot eyes of most teams that want to take him and if he's got a contract with T1, those teams have to buy it out.

I do not think Topson have a contract with T1. I think he is just interim / replacement. I think it is either SEA or Europe for Topson if he is going to pick another team. Sea because his wife is from SEA and he is from Europe. Lots of team would still want topson in their roster after his performance in LCQ. He is still in top form.
We don't know what's with their agreement but I think that T1 will take the advantage of having him on their organization. And it's likely that they'll offer him everything they can just to retain him.

2575  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 02, 2022, 10:26:40 PM
4. Don't waste money on useless things
When you've got the money and it's like an infinite supply of money on your possession. It's like that you can do everything that you can and you want to buy almost everything that you want.

Someone who can't control himself with that possession is bound to be poor again if he's from zero to hero and then don't know how to manage his money or didn't seek help from financial experts on how to handle his money properly.
2576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: November 02, 2022, 07:57:25 PM
I agree! Expecting a $1 Million per bitcoin is not likely and too unrealistic for the next bitcoin halving somewhere in 2022, remember that we haven't crossed the $100k mark yet as the last ATH was listed for $69k last November 2021 and the market declined weeks after the ATH. Let's expect a much realistic price so that we won't get disappointed because there are other factors to consider before we set some prices, we may see as twice as much from the last ATH for the next halving, no more than $180k.
Next halving is in 2024, not 2022.

But thinking of $1M is unreal if we're on the current days. $1M is possible but we don't know how long it shall take since the market has been growing and more adoption is occurring.

2577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stupid or Not on: November 02, 2022, 06:56:10 PM
If he knows what he's doing, that's just something that you shouldn't thought of being stupid. There are some ways that we think is better to do for our security.

If that's how he thinks then probably he's doing it for his own security. Well, he's doing it monthly and there's nothing wrong with that as he can just simply dump the last wallet that he used after going with another one. The fees of transfer ain't that lot too.
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question concerning Crypto.com and CRO on: November 01, 2022, 11:46:44 AM
Is it possible to trust any project running on such blockchain project?
Yes.

It's your choice if you'll trust them. Just like people trusting centralized projects like BNB, XRP and other sort of centralized projects.

For someone who doesn't like centralised projects do you think I should stay away from anything running on CRO?
If you don't like centralized projects then just keep yourself away so that you don't associate with them. But if you see some opportunities that you can do some trades on it and make money as you dump it, you have the choice to make and you've got free will.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 01, 2022, 08:56:14 AM
Well Matumbaman already won an aegis and it is a really big deal with and of course after he quit with the Team Liquid he choose to gain more experience into other teams and find out into team secret and back to team liquid because he wants to try again with other team members, and being secured with the top three already gain profit to him,
He's said that it's a win-win situation since coming from the LCQ up to the 3rd place of TI11, that's certainly a big achievement already for him playing his last competitive Dota 2 game.

but not too much in this Ti11 because the price pool is so low unlike the previous Ti events
It's okay, because the last year's TI was a combination of 2 TIs, the 2020 and 2021.

Kuku and Whitemon is open for the new teams of course Topson and Ana wont let go by the T1 and preparing for the another dota tournament.
Topson wants to go back to the strongest region now, EU. And he's on the hot eyes of most teams that want to take him and if he's got a contract with T1, those teams have to buy it out.
2580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is losing bitcoin in account have a significant impact to the bitcoin economy? on: November 01, 2022, 07:41:46 AM
If someone lose their bitcoins (whether it is small or big amount), does it have a significant impact to the bitcoin economy?
Yes, definitely.

They're like actual burned bitcoins that has retained value on their own that will never be recovered. And that's the reason why those people telling bitcoin will go to zero don't understand the value of those lost bitcoins forever.

And this is why many are betting on bitcoin's future, being limited in supply and those lost bitcoins forever adds more value to its limited supply.
