1641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Lose Everything Youve Gained in One day, or One Trade on: October 26, 2023, 10:20:40 PM
What a mistake your friend did.

He shouldn't do leverage when he's not going to monitor it. That is why when I'm always doing stuff and not leaving my trades, I keep track on it wherever I go.

And putting all of your networth on a single trade is a crazy thing. I'd always do the trades that it's not going to cost me that much so I am safe.

While the entire networth of me is on a safe place where I wouldn't touch it for so long.
1642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much could you earn in a day ? on: October 26, 2023, 01:53:43 PM
I'm glad that you're thinking of 1% for short trades because that's really possible. Unlike the others that are asking unlikely percentage because of their greediness, it's just impossible for a short period of time.

Even if that's only 1%, the road for you to get on that point will still be rough. That's the life of a trader that every win you make is not easy but it's all worth it.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 26, 2023, 12:55:07 PM
By not gambling at all, this is the only way to protect your privacy in gambling
I agree.

By the time that you step on into a casino, you're gonna expose your data on them and you have no choice but to be obliged on obeying them.

Even if there's a casino that tells you that you are 100% KYC safe and they'll never ask you that in the future, still don't be confident.

On the case of getting that money, I can do a lot of things with that. So be it, privacy matters or not, you'll gonna get KYCed so you have got no option though.
There is a limited privacy when we use a casino to bet but it might get worse when we start submitting our information on casinos for KYC without checking the casino if they can be trusted or not. Those that knows how to bet on non KYC casinos are more safe than people on a non KYC casinos where they would drop their information and they don't know how the team intend to do with their information. We can only gamble on a KYC casino if we know the team are highly trusted with good and high review although that is not a guarantee that we need to submit our information on a casino.
There are casinos that are also known for asking KYC but as long as you're allowed to gamble on their platform without having the need to KYC, it's because that you're not yet triggering them.

I agree also that if you're okay with KYC, make sure that you're submitting it to the casino that you trust.

Because not all of them are trustworthy especially if it's about not just the money or crypto we deposit but also with our information and IDs that we send to them.
1644  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favourite free steam games. on: October 26, 2023, 11:36:14 AM
Dota 2.

CS:GO turned into CS2 but I haven't played the recent version yet because I'm doing a lot of things.

Try to go into the adult games, I've enjoyed one game there but I've forgotten the name but I have finished that game for a week IIRC, it was a fun game and free.

Yugi-oh.

I can't remember all of those free games that I've got on my library honestly.

And if you want more free games, go to another game provider like Steam and that's Epicgames. Every 2 weeks IIRC, they're giving away games consistently.

That's where I got my GTA V for free and many zombie games like Dying Light, Tomb Raider and many good quality games.
1645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 26, 2023, 10:45:37 AM
Just thinking about turning gambling into a full time job is a bit risky.
Those that have taken it as a full time job understands the risk that it bears.

It is in the mind that we have allowed our thoughts to be controlled by wrong views and beliefs. We have immediately put our mind in jeopardy because it is not realistic.
Honestly, it is realistic when someone makes gambling a career and becomes successful on it but the chances for it to happen for an individual is pretty low.

Those that have made a good run on it and still are on it, they see that it's possible for them to make that happen but they need to realize that it's not going to last long.
1646  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession? How to face It? on: October 26, 2023, 09:36:57 AM
It is happening in every country but for a very few, they're able to slow it down but they can't escape inflation.
(...)

Actually, most of the countries (at least the Western ones) have been able to reduce the rate of inflation with increased interest rates. The problem is that increasing interest rates have a negative effect on the economy and can lead to many undesirable things like e.g high unemployment. So if not done carefully, it's just like replacing one problem with another.
That's why, in the past, we'd often see that recessions actually came in pair with deflation.
Every possible solution that a country will do, there's always an opposite reaction. It may not be entirely to the economy but to the people. So whatever a government does to slow down or contain the inflation, they'll still have hard time in removing it all along but reducing it is like the goal of most of them.

It's a very crucial thing to be done by most of them and I agree to you, they need to do it carefully.

overall whatever investment there is so long its return rate more than the inflation incurred, its fine, but with bitcoin, we get additional benefit of growing our capital into another level.
I would say that, cryptocurrencies so far is best investment for fighting against inflation, even some random alts could gain 30% increase within short amount of time.
but requires adequate skill and sufficient knowledge to do the investment.
from my observation, not everyone cut it to become investor in cryptocurrency, even more so those that don't really have the patience, therefore its best to test the water first.
seeing if its truly effective way fighting inflation.
Yeah, it shouldn't just be an investment that will gain them profits but they need to consider that it should be way above the inflation rate.

Your money is still not going to be valuable if it's on an investment and the increase is way below the inflation rate.
1647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2023, 11:36:23 PM
I see posts on social medias about what people will choose and the choices are blue and red pill and the choices are about a $10M or going back in time 10 years ago and fix your mistakes. Those that dont know about bitcoin will definitely choose the $10M.

But my first thought is always going back in time and buying a lot of Bitcoins and it is easy.

Why I am telling this? It is because we always have that thought on the success people didnt go through tough times. But reality speaking, they have made tough choices as well in  the past and just chose to buy bitcoin and success on it is possible.

1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just like visiting a cinema on: October 25, 2023, 10:20:10 PM
If you want your life to goes on with ease, learn to be a fun gambler and not too dependent on gambling, this is what gets people f**ked, the reality of gambling is you win when it's not even expected, be a responsible gambler.
Regardless of how many times you tell that to the other gamblers, you can't stop them from doing their activities as if they're too dependent on it. You may apply that to yourself that you're gambling for fun and have tons of discussions that people should only gamble for fun.

But we're both agreeing about that being a responsible gambler is a must. It's because there are gamblers that bet with assurance that they'll win even if it is not their money.

Going to that point, it is not really a good thing to see such strategies done by someone. So if you think that you're good paying like a cinema with those losses that will make you feel good, do it.
1649  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you play while listening music? on: October 25, 2023, 09:25:30 PM
Sometimes I find it distracting when there's music whenever I play or I gamble.

I just feel it unnecessary or there is a need for me to do such when I'm doing something. Even the most calm music when I am irritated, I feel distracted.

But there are times that I am okay with any calming music and I find it soothing. That depends on the mood that I have.

This is one of the reasons why wasabi wallet is not a good recommendation anymore for privacy and other loopholes found with using this wallet
I don't think that there's connection about the loophole and privacy matters of Wasabi to his friend's negligence of keeping the passphrase and forgetting about it.
I tend to agree, that it's not about the Wasabi wallet, it's his friend who didn't back up very well the password.
Though I'm not using this wallet it's a rare case I hear that this wallet scamming its users, the reputation of this wallet still good than the web wallets out there.
We learn the lessons here about wasabi, any wallet and why it is very important for us to back up the wallets that we create and we download.

When a newbie is too excited about the funds that they're about to receive. They ignore the important things that they need to remember like backing up the wallet or the keys or even remembering the passwords.

Anyway, the good consolation here is that it's not that much to understand the lesson from this incident.

@everyone I gave her $10 for her lost funds and told her to forget about it, maybe in the future it can be brute force if Bitcoin is worth $1 million  Cheesy this is a lesson learned for her and for us to be aware of that even if you read all the other wallet's setup instructions or documentation it takes 5 to minutes at the most to read the instructions if you're using a new wallet, many of us are accustomed to just kept the passphrase.
That's so kind of you, remind her that she should always keep a back up of a wallet that she uses and also the actual password that she might make.
1653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has Bitcoin skyrocketed recently? on: October 24, 2023, 08:35:37 PM
hence, DTCC removed Blackrock from the list. But still, the chart is pretty strong. I hope ETF approval is near and will be approved. So if it creates a big FOMO, then likely we will see another bull run.
I agree, despie that DTCC removed the ticker already, the reaction of the market is incomparable when they've shown the ticker.

It's still strong and likely to go back to $34k any moment now. It had made a big FOMO and it will be larger when we see the approved Bitcoin ETF application.

BlackRock is such a big company that many do trusts and based their decision so, that's to be expected that will play a part in the next bull run.

You should care less of what people may think or say about you. That way, you wouldn’t be bothered or feel annoyed by harsh words or criticisms. People would always have something bad about you to say so why would you let their words affect you?
That's true, whatever you do either good or bad, gambling or not, there's always the people that keeps an eye on you if they feel that you're better than them.

Ignore them and don't think that you need to extract your energy to anything they say. They just want your attention and avoid spending and wasting time on them.

I also find it a bit funny that you think you’re more likely to lose when more people know that you gamble. Perhaps you take gambling advice from just about anyone including people with zero knowledge you and end up losing out.
Haha, first time to hear this I guess but there's no association to our luck whether people knows that we're gamblers or not.
1655  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession? How to face It? on: October 24, 2023, 06:24:09 PM
It cannot be denied that inflation is something that worries everyone, especially if you are a businessman because the continuous increase in prices of goods due to inflation means that many people's finances cannot be controlled, thus having an impact on future financial balance. And this can happen in every country.
It is happening in every country but for a very few, they're able to slow it down but they can't escape inflation.

I also agree that one way to deal with inflation that will always be recommended is investing in bitcoin. Because, investing in bitcoin will help protect your finances from the impact of inflation. Apart from not being wasteful and having to look for additional work, you also have to avoid debt. Moreover, if you use debt only to fulfill your lifestyle and are consumerist in nature, it is actually less useful.
Investing overall is a good way to fight inflation. And investing in Bitcoin is just one of the best choice as there have been a lot of choices that everyone can make if ever you're fortunate to have money to invest.

It's a hedge against inflation and others need to know that too.

Call her with the things that she loves the most. If she's into food and sweets then call her Cupcake, HoneyPie, Sweetie. They may not sound unique but you'll be overflown by ants because of your sweetness to her.  Tongue

Anyway, check this list out.

1657  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Government job or private job? on: October 24, 2023, 10:46:49 AM
I would prefer a private job if any one will offer me. Because with my skills I can get a handsome salary and with this salary I can start my little business which can be long lasting too and with skills I can grow my business too. And when I will stand my own business so this can feed my coming generations too if they will continue that business like I was doing.
In the government, there's the general schedule or salary grade for each position and that's not that much to think of but you get the stable job.

If you've got a good salary and you're already part of the government, the good shifting this time in the work labor market is you can work as an independent contractor or a freelancer.

Many does this and it depends on the skill you have and you're right that you can make more money from it.
1658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: October 24, 2023, 09:40:38 AM
Honestly every gambler loses control of money, but don't lose control so much, try to connect yourself.
A gambler will realize this when he's got nothing left anymore. You tell them that they shouldn't lose their control and sanity but you'll see that they won't hear you when they're at the peak of their feelings and activity.

Whether you want them to tell to recover only emotionally and not with the losses, if that's their major income and salary comes from gambling. You can't stop them because they'll have troubles in their daily living.

With that, they have to recover and won't mind what people say to them about control and failures because they only have the same mindsets and that's to win and take back money.

I fully agree with you, a gambler that is in the middle of a serious gambling session is not going to take advice and immediately react to it. Especially for someone who has gambled for many years it’s going to be hard to change your habits and listen to others. I have been in such situations myself and it's really hard to accept any outside opinions as I was so euphoric in the situations. It's hard to argue rational after the gambling evening, because everything feels so different when in the casino and enjoying the rush and excitement of the games and the atmosphere. During a losing session it would make a lot of sense to just take a break and step away from the games. Better to keep the rest of our money and try again the next day. And this was for me not even taking gambling that seriously, now imagine someone that looks at gambling as his job requires to make a profit to pay his bills. This would be too much pressure for me and I don’t think that many people can sustain such a high energy lifestyle for long. So, not only profitability for a full-time gambler is important, also how healthy his lifestyle is and if he can maintain it for a longer period of time.
That's based on experience and we all knew about that. There's no other better approach when we're losing but to stop and go away from any gambling.

We will only realize the hardest part when we can't pick anything anymore on our balances and that's the sign that tells us to stop and go away from that moment or else you'll have to suffer more consequences if you don't take a rest.
1659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Urgent Help] Please legit check the platform Idexop.vip on: October 24, 2023, 08:01:40 AM
Now, I want to cash out some profits but the customer service won’t let me do it.

They asked me to deposit money (20% of my profit gain) in to the platform (they said this is for taxes on my capital gain), so that I could cash out my current assets in the platform.
Reading this, this is all I need to know.

That's a scam.

The exchange is unknown and made you look like you've won your trades and got you in profit. Now, that's the typical scam that happens, they will ask you to deposit first before they promise you to allow the withdrawal.

Just accept it that there's no real money that you've made on that platform and they're trying to scam you.
