Once again, I'm 99% sure that SEC and other agencies do not use gag orders like that. Especially when public funds are involved. If there is a gag order for this kind of thing, the business owner would be able to say that the SEC or whoever was involved, but they would not be able to divulge the details. There would be NO CASE where a gag order would be given and a proprietor of a business would be allowed to accept deposits from the public with no chance of them getting them back, that would make the gov' agency culpable in the crime of thievery that has happened.
You are only looking at 'secret, can't talk about it gag orders' if an intelligence agency is involved or an undercover criminal investigation is going on, and this is not the case. Even if it is criminal investigation, the FBI or whatever would not give a gag order that would not allow the public to not know they were investigating -- the gag order would only prevent any details of coming out.
Regarding moving forward / progress, perhaps instead of a civil lawsuit it would be more efficacious to press criminal charges here. As it stands now Ukyo took roughly 8000 bitcoins from the community, in either deposits that should have been protected or safe, or a loan, that he was defaulted on. The missing money is $5 mill by today's rate. For him to not comment on what happened, for (I even forget how long it has been now -- ) 3, 4 months, is beyond any reasonable consideration that he should be given.

I've complained a few times and each time I get nothing but the standard answer like I posted above, claiming that it's all one big lottery and that it's normal to not find a single block an entire day with 1500THs, so sometimes no payment at all. Doesn't seem like they really care. If they would, they'ld realize that more and more people are going to feel cheated and word is going to get out. Once their reputation is to hell, there's no turning back and people will run. At least they won't cheat that many people out of their coins then.
The part about it beeing a lottery is true but the number of blocks they find a single day should in most cases be pretty close to the expected value witch is about 7.1 blocks per day at 1500 TH so 6-8 blocks per day should happen pretty ofthen for them. Chance of finding 0 block a single day at current network hashrate for them with 1500TH is about 0.000688 = 0,0677% so it should happen about 1 time in 1453 days, if it happens more ofthen than that you correct that is suspicious then and would indicate that something is not right. |

A small status update:... We will also need to destroy our extra shares. The total amount of shares there should be is 283,920, but we will leave ourselves an amount that is convenient for dividends. This will be either 0, which would mean we will bring half of our profit to the site and it would all be shared by public shareholders or we will keep 70,980, in which case we would bring 100% of profit to the site and share it there between us and public shareholders.We will probably go with 0 shares, because there are other expenses that are paid from our profits. If we were to take from the full 100%, these costs would diminish the profits of public shareholders also. We will probably have to contact the site support again, since there seems to be no automated way of destroying shares. We discussed this before opening the IPO and they told it was possible.  I guess you haven't read up on how dividend works on Cryptostocks, your not allowed to pay dividend to shares still held(or bought back) by yourself. What you say either don't make sense in relation to the fact that all users were allowed to withdraw 6.17% of there Weexchange balances, so possibly Ken Slaughter(that we know that SEC have been looking at) and Trade Fortress for example could have withdrawn funds then to.
Ukyo said he allowed the users to withdraw the ~6% because he believed it was the right thing to do. The word " believed" makes it sound like he got into some trouble for dispersing those coins. Just a couple of nit-picking corrections: 1. Ken claimed that he's being investigated by his state, Missouri Securities Division, not the SEC. 2. There is no evidence of this claim being anything more than an excuse to keep his "shareholders" from trading, just Ken's word. Ken Slaughter's "shareholders" have been subsisting on a steady diet of lies. It's unreasonable to assume this claim to be an exception. Ok thought i saw he mentioning SEC somewhere, i must have remembered it wrong then, maby it was someone else, Ukyo? or so that mentioned SEC then in relation to Ken and AMC, but your right unless SEC officially states there investigating Ken or ActM or you work for them you can't know for sure whether it's true or not. |

Where is the report about the remaining funds?
That's a good question, the memo should have been posted 10-16 mars accourding to what Ascension said the 9 mars:
btcQuick is not operating and it has been decided that the company will be dissolved and the remaining funds will be returned to the investors.
We decided that this would be the best option in light of our new merchant account being a complete joke, ACH payments are extremely fraud prone, U.S. regulation ,and our bank account has been put on hold. Due to the Credit card and ACH chargeback windows we will have to wait 6-12 months before we can return the funds back to the investors.
I will issue an official memo in the coming week along with a current assets report/listing.

After speaking to someone in the know but who wouldn't divulge much, I am now convinced that Ukyo is being investigated along with others by the U.S. SEC and was forced to withhold people's funds and not talk about it until the investigation is complete. I further speculate that it is the same investigation into Satoshi Dice that is coming to light.
P.s. If you don't fully understand english and can't see the words "I am now convinced" and "further speculate", don't reply saying "this is bullshit" and look like a moron. I never said it is true, I am only sharing my current belief.
Some of what you say is resonable but not all, surely AMC & ken slaughter was beeing looked at by the SEC and it seems likely that SEC looked at BTC-TC and Bitfunder to. But if what you said where the case, then why would Bitfunder be that different from how BTC-TC worked when they winded it down ? I could possibly see that what you say would be the case in a few specific cases for some of the issuers of stocks like for Activeminer/Ken Slaghters or TradeFortresses account/holdings/funds on Bitfunder/Weexchange that there funds would be frozen during a possible investigation, but for 99% of the normal users/investors on Bitfunder/Weexchange there would be no reason whatsoever to lock there funds up for this amount of time as there shouldn't be any problem for them to clear practically all users within a week or two. What you say either don't make sense in relation to the fact that all users were allowed to withdraw 6.17% of there Weexchange balances, so possibly Ken Slaughter(that we know that SEC have been looking at) and Trade Fortress for example could have withdrawn funds then to. |

Any signs from Ukyo or was he able to escape and hide somewhere?
Are there any lawsuits planned right now? I would start suing from Germany, but I think it's more effective if some US-based victim would start a lawsuit. I am certain we could collect some coins for legal fees. Anyone (preferably reputable) willing to lead/start a lawsuit?
Ukyo was last active on the forum March 15, 2014 so he's still around even if he dont post in the open. Maby people can join in on a joint venture if there isen't starting to come some meaningfull information soon, i think it's extremely bad handling of things from Ukyo and Graet sofar, that people for this long hasen't got more information on whats going on, especially for those that has 100 000's USD worth of BTC ivested in the Ukyo/Graet/Weexchange matter. |

So ... how do I get a small balance out of weexchange in the "stuck" state ? Any advice please?
The stuck part you don't get out at the moment, you will possibly get that when more funds get avaliable for ukyo in the future to pay ukyo loan shareholders and weexchange balanceholders, it's the avaliable part you can withdraw, but like burnside said check the posts ukyo made on the subject back in decemmber on the subject and then read on in the thread(s).. It seems like it sometimes can take up to 7 days before kumala reads or responds on pm's or emails if that is the case still i don't know but if you sent those 7 emails in a short period of time mabe he haven'r got to them yet but have a look at CS's help page https://cryptostocks.com/welcome/help and make sure you diden't miss anything important like the email thing CryptoREI mentioned. |

So ... since with Weex, it was an exchange where the $ balance in the exchange can never get less than the balance of $ in every account ... who stole the $ out of Weex?
You see, if someone puts $ into Weex, and then buys BTC, those $ (less a fee) go to the other person.
Thus it's not possible for the balance of $ in the exchange to get below the account $ balance of all accounts ... unless someone was stealing the $ ...
So ... anyone got more bullshit to spread about Weex and their scam associates Neo & Bee?
Ukyo hasen't exactly been detailed about what actually has happened, if funds got stolen or if he did use some of other peoples funds to invest in something that diden't work out as planned or if something other strange is preventing him from accessing the funds at the moment. But if somehow funds actually got stolen from weexchange/bitfunder it would most likely have been on the BTC side and not on the USD/fiat side then i think. |

Why the .2% fee surcharge on trading shares?
Keep ignoring the laws of economics on capital velocity and liquidity and shareholders will continue to ignore your IPO.
The use of fee sursharge on listings on cryptostocks have become way to common now for no good reason, it's use increased back in jan or maby slightly before that when cryptostocks started to get flooded with more scams that probably thought it would give them more incomes to use that extra fee, when it in reallity would scare off more people from buying a share than the tiny extra income would bring them. I guess some real companys sadly has looked at what the scams hade done and copyed that, possibly as a way to cancel out cryptostocks fee they pay(0,15% +1 btc) but in reallity i think they loose on having that in place as any locking in effect will limit/reduce the capital that flows into there share as people will prefer to invest in listings without extra fees added on top of cryptostocks fees. |
