how much longer for the IPO?
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: April 13, 2015, 07:07:17 AM
jeez....too much negativity... I want to see these FUDster/critics make their own coins from scratch...

you don't like this coin? dump it and move on...leave the Devs alone

this is a long term HODL....u watch...

bye for now...

well said, it's times like these that a person gets to choose how they want to live. Do you leave school early, get the first job you can, then party your paycheck away every week until your 30, or do you knuckle down and lean useful skills while you're young, recognising that most of the time success comes through hard work exerted over a longer time period. If you want to party go to your favorite exchange, sort by volume, then start trading. Don't concern yourself with the merits of the coins you trade, just pick the ones with the highest volumes and trade. You might make some dough. If you're thinking 2-5 years from now, then follow coins like NEM, buy as much as you can afford, then hodl. The choice is that simple.

264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PRO | The Start of a new altcoin era | Exchange with futures coming! on: April 13, 2015, 06:54:57 AM
Meh, I was going to mine this.

just wait a day or so ... might still be something here, but looks uncertain right now. big dump and dev identity 'issues'
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viorcoin | Voice & Video Call | ViorNumber | Cheap International Calls on: April 13, 2015, 06:32:44 AM
I will just bump my post, as we are still waiting for the Dev to say something.

Dev, can you get us an update (just the statement) on where we are with VIOR?
April 15 is just one week from here and I would like to know, whether you leave or not? Whether there is a merger or not?
As for now there is a big misinformation and that is definitely not helping to build the trust for your project.
Many possible users already got tired of that terrible PR handling.

PS. Bitcoin carpenter, please do not respond instead of Dev. I do believe that writing one or two sentences is not such a big effort, isn't it?

Any news dev?, still things uncertain

I spoke with a very successful programmer and business man who I've known for over 15 years and once he finishes his current projects he's willing to take on the development of Vior if the original Dev can't continue. Like most of us, I refuse to stand idly by as this brilliant project comes to a complete halt. Please let me know if you'd like to pass off the project or to team up with this outstanding developer whom I have discussed this matter with. Cheers!  Cheesy

Very nice work!! I agree it would be utter madness not to try and get this idea up and running. Potential is so huge, and anyone can see that, just need to have the will to keep pushing things along.

good luck!!
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EventToken [EVENT] Whitepaper | Patent Pending |MANDATORY WALLET UPGRADE!!! on: April 07, 2015, 06:08:21 AM
Quick update:

We have a new block explorer up for EventToken, this change has also been reflected in the OP

http://event.bloxchain.com/

In time we will enhance the explorer, for now it was urgent to get one up in order to prevent Bittrex from de-listing EventToken.

Good work! Are you planning to work on the original plan as far as using the 'event' token at real world events, or are you just concentrating on getting the chain healthy? Was the patent real?
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NAS :: Descendant of NXT 100% PoS|More Exchanges|WinNAS is ready! on: March 30, 2015, 10:25:05 AM
The old dev disappeared long ago and he is reading nothing here.
I have an idea, what if PM everybody in this thread and tell that NAS is reviving?

good idea
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: March 28, 2015, 07:48:10 AM
I thought I read that you simply do another sale at a later time but they are not destroyed? Did you change that?

I Read it again.. oddly I don't remember the part of them being destroyed I read that another future sale would take place until they are all sold or something like that... hmm

sidhujag is right. I remember the same thing. This is a very important issue ... and they changed this   - silently  - and must have edited their former response to dzarmush in the thread

I guess the initial sales are bad and they feel the market pressure.

I just edited it, yes, in anticipation of an announcement we'll make about this shortly. I also messaged everyone who asked in the thread privately.
Sorry about the confusion - we'll make it official soon.

what about people who bought already under the previous rule? changing IPO rules mid stream ... dangerous
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NAS :: Descendant of NXT 100% PoS|More Exchanges|WinNAS is ready! on: March 26, 2015, 05:10:41 AM
So where is this headed ... can NAS be taken seriously without a dev? Good job in getting the chain back up and running!

FonzieCoin
10K Coin
TwisterCoin
GlobalCoin
PayCon
Tecoin

No need to save the people who buy/mine these shitcoins. The deserve to loose their money

Don't be a dick GTO911. Not everyone interested in crypto currencies has loads of IT & internet experience, nor do they deserve to get hacked just because they choose to experiment with the latest new coin on the first page of the announcement forum when they first start trying to figure out what's going on. Everyone has to start somewhere, and crypto needs lots of happy enthusiasts, not nasty knee-jerk comments parroted from all the other dicks peddling hate on this forum.

Your attitude towards other crypto users is pathetic
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Pokereum] - An Ethereum-Telehash based provably fair decentralized Poker on: March 19, 2015, 12:32:35 AM
Very nice interview with Ola & Patrick from Pokereum on "P2P Connects Us" (from the 'Letstalkbitcoin' stable of podcasts).

Interview starts approx 15.10

https://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/p2p-connects-us-episode-fourteen-pokereum

Very exciting to hear that Pokereum poker play will be open to a number of alt coins via a plugin system. Online Poker is obviously a killer app to attract more people into crypto currency use.

Great work guys!!
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viorcoin | Voice & Video Call | ViorNumber | Cheap International Calls on: March 15, 2015, 03:37:11 AM
yeah. dev's skills are good compared to other noob devs. continue to develop this coin and for sure this coin will go up.

this coin is so good that im still hesitant to sell my coins even at this time.

+1
The big alt coin shake out is getting rid of the crap coins, please keep working on Vior, it's one of the few bright spots left. Don't get distracted by negative pricks. There are people following this coin with good ideas who can help you with marketing and communication etc, the stuff that might be your weak points.

Reach out to those offering help
Think of the BIG picture value proposition for Vior
Keep working on the dev side

If you follow that outline, in 6 months Vior could let you retire.

Qora dev *might* be multiple people. Hope whoever logged in is ready for dev work, could be the dev guy is still MIA. Time will tell, but definitely a good sign.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Cypherfunks[FUNK]: a coin for a global band! Talking v2. Join! 80+ songs on: March 01, 2015, 03:35:02 AM
When lanch coin,Can not change it,Such as scrypt ,Total coin,Block time,Pow is important, necessary .No mining ,Will no follow and no  new investors come in, Coin almost mined 50% now,Price will rise in the future, If change to V2,I think more holders will sell out  and do not follow it agai[Suspicious link removed]ice low,No enough user,No enough users,No other reason,Same problem for other coins,Change to V2 ,No useful for the coin.

I understand that can happen, which is why if we change, we'll need full community support.

Happy birthday guys! (Where's the party emoticons on here?)

I'm so happy this coin/music project is still chugging along!! One of my favourite coins, has good goals & some 'soul'!

Keep the FUNK alive Simon et al!!!

Happy Bithday FUNK

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way of initial coin distribution on: February 23, 2015, 05:39:22 AM
100% IPO, all funds raised go to charities. IPO method is fair, no sockpuppets, and does something good. Could even be an educational non-profit that focused on crypto currencies.

edit: my preference for charity would be ones focused on alleviating extreme hunger
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POSPOOL][SMB] - StakeMyBit - First automated POS Pool - no miners needed! on: February 14, 2015, 06:19:34 AM
Is it possible to deposit coins by importing private keys? I have a few wallets from coins but would prefer not to have to bother resyncing so I can send coins to StakeMyBit.

I agree, importing private keys would be a great idea.

So no more replies from gmaxwell? Were his claims credible?

HuhHuh
