261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FAILCoin | UPCOMING RELAUNCH | FAIL HOLDERS - PLEASE FOLLOW THE THREAD! on: June 06, 2017, 12:18:37 PM
I have the full bootstrap of FAILCOIN block. Send me PM if you are interested. Small offer in FAILCOIN or other cryptocurrency required...

That's a good way to "help" and "protect" your investment. Asking for "offers" about something you can provide without a drop of sweat.

I'm having conversations with Adam and chrysophylax as we speak. Isaac send me some new logo samples and I think we have already chosen the new FAILCommunity logo.

Stay FAILed,
Spartak

Addnode please. Or even better a bootstrap. I have 6 connections and it sync so slow. I use the lastest wallet by the way.

Yeah, that's a big issue and unfortunately you have to be patient. But hey... you have about ~2 months time to sync. Smiley

ico? ...

and pos only? ...

hmmm ... when was this decided mate? ... i had no idea about any of this ...

#crysx

Sorry mate, forgot to notify you, but this was because I'm not using Skype so often and I forgot. Smiley The original idea is for PoS only. About the ICO and such. - nothing of this is certain, but will contact you later as I'm just coming back from yet another night shift.

Cheers,
Spartak

264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FAILCommunity's FAILCoin | UNITY IS POWER | WE WANT YOUR OPINION on: June 05, 2017, 03:05:05 PM
Hello,

We have decided to relaunch FAIL and make yet another swap. Why?

1. There are still some big issues with our code and it will take more time to fix them.
2. A lot of coins were lost (I'd say over 6 Million, which is like 27% of the current supply) and our supply (currently ~22.64 Million) is not real. We want us to have a clear picture on this.

All team members will be notified right after I make this post and will ask them to make researches on which code base we should use. We will then announce our decision before mid June. FAIL will have a short mining phase and will then turn into Full PoS.

Now the real bad parts (I can't believe I'm saying this)....

I've been always against ICOs, crowdsales or whatever, but it appears that we are going to need one. Some part of the premined coins (meant to reimburse people who own FAIL) will be released for ICO,
which must be considered as a donation. Meaning we won't make any promises and people who decide (if there are any) to join should consider their investment as a donation. Price should be somewhere in the 50-300 satoshi range, or just enough for us to raise some 5-10 BTC. If I had these money - I'll pay for everything by myself, but I don't. And I don't want to ask for bitcoins from any of the team members. They all work for a % of the coin and this will remain as long we are a team! These BTC will be used to pay for exchanges and services, but not for promotions or anything of the kind. Our goal as a FAILCommunity is to have our own digital currency and all future partners must agree to accept FAILCoin as a payment. That is why every team member is paid in FAIL. Because we want to work for the success of our currency and the price of 1 FAIL to us is ... 1 FAIL, not 1, 100 or 1M satoshi.

We will relaunch FAIL even If we don't raise enough BTC (some calculations should be first made). We can then discuss if we are going to return these money to the investors, or they will decide to hold their FAIL coins and wait for our progress. Unsold coins won't be burned - they will be held in cold storage and will be used for our future partners. We don't care if these coins will be held outside our team (i.e. some escrow). This will be discussed too.

The whole team will be announced before the relaunch, so "investors" (current holders, miners, people who decide to "invest" their BTC) will have clear idea who is behind FAILCommunity and FAILCoin.

Keep in mind that this post is just a heads up on what's coming and much more details will be revealed.

We are waiting for your suggestions (which coin to fork, how should we do this (handling ICO, premine etc...)).

It's time for FAIL to FAIL!

Cheers,
Spartak

There is nothing to like here anymore.
All of this is a joke.
The people are losers and the "coins" are pathetic.
There is nothing left to be a part of.

Not losers - failers. But you're wrong, because there is something left to be a part of. FAIL coin is here for over 3 years now and will be here as long digital currencies exist. Smiley

spartak_t> hey, I love IRC  Smiley I go back in there every now and then. I spent huge amount of time on freenode

Yeah, they were great days... we had meetings and everything. Smiley

I Was close to be IRCop too on webnet, what a funny days.. add aop/sop nickname #channel lol

Being a LocalOp was pretty much nothing, but I was master in the bots of the country's channel #Bulgaria and owner in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas channels (i.e. the channels of our biggest cities). Like I said... good old days. Smiley
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with you people?! on: June 04, 2017, 07:41:48 PM
Yeah, I was even IRC Operator in the Bulgarian network (UniBG), which I think was 2nd or 3rd largest in the world back then. Smiley

I'm not sure if you ever wondered about Ethereum's scalability issues and the number of hard forks we will have in future? I've seen how many prominent coders said that they don't completely understand Ethereum and what comes for us, the "ordinary" people? Myself am an IT, but I know shit about coding (except that I wrote few scripts for IRC bots 15+ years ago, but that's long forgotten as it is not my thing). Betting on something, which you don't completely understand is stupid, because question here is not what the tech can achieve, but how. Most of you does not know the answer of this question. Most of you are currently paying billions of $ for something, which is based mostly on promises. Fancy roadmaps and plans, but what if they fail, because simply the tech would not allow them to grow as expected/promised? I'll mention BAT again. If you ask me - this is a multibillion opportunity and I won't be surprised if it reaches $20-$30-$100, but that's not the question here. Imagine the negative impact...

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with you people?! on: June 03, 2017, 06:46:19 PM
I think you're missing my point here. There's nothing wrong to make profits if you have ideas and realized them, or just by supporting some project, in which you believe in. All I want to say is that what happens now is not normal. Back in 2014 we've seen crazy profits on several coins, but now they are like 10s (if not 100s). If you think that doubling your money in a day is normal, then you are nothing but a greedy speculators who doesn't care about digital currencies at all. Back in the days we've seen people who were saying: "I'm glad that I bought "put_your_name_here_coin", now we're seeing people saying: "DigiByte/SIA/NEM made me a godzillionaire!", "I have 50,000 BTC, tell me where to invest?" etc... All are bragging that they made money. Less and less people are actually talking about the given currency or even cares where it will go afterwards.

Guys,

Withdraw your coins from POSWallet.com, because they will delist ARCO in a few days.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Hacked Again? on: June 02, 2017, 05:30:32 PM
Someone technologically illiterate working at that exchange fucked up  and it's somehow platform's problem. You guys are really smart. With that mentality you'll go nowhere but remain poor.

LM_fucking_AO. Behold! That's the typical thinking of an ETH shill - making millions or even billions of $ is a way to prove something is better than others. People like Grigori Perelman (not that he knows who he is) are dumbass motherfuckers, because he's not rich and he lives with his mother, instead of buying 1000 ETH back in 2014 and be a millionaire. I really feel sorry for you, because one can tell you are a lonely soul and a "keyboard warrior". I had enough with you... poor guy.

273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with you people?! on: June 02, 2017, 12:06:11 PM
It's not real until you sell it and withdraw into fiat. I've withdrawn $250,000 so far in my crypto adventures and still have $200,000 worth of cryptos.

That's true. Back in the days I was mining 130-150 Million TIPS with just 6 GPU's. That's like $3k worth of coins a day. Then in May 2014 I bought 7 x 60MH A2's ASICs for 48k euro and was mining $800 - $1300 (depends on prices) worth of coins a day. I've had 18k LTC, 3 Billion TIPS, 3 - 3.2 Million EMC2, 130k VIA, 340k VTR and 200K NOTE to name a few - all of them sold back in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Sold 200k BLK, which I bought for 1.5 BTC about a week before the huge pump and missed like $120k in potential profit. Smiley I'm not exactly like Laszlo and his pizzas, but still... Smiley Now I have a few favorites, but future will tell...
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with you people?! on: June 02, 2017, 11:24:15 AM

Not that I have tried getting in on any of these 20-minute ICOs, but, at this point, it's also important to start looking who is behind the projects.  The days where one would just look to see if the people behind a project are established in Cryptoland are over.  We got folks that could easily get a gazillion bucks going the traditional route that are intentionally giving the finger to the status quo.  Sure, us peasants can't get in easily and distribution sucks, but funding goals are achieved (which will make the tech a reality) and, hopefully, better our lives.

Better how? Making money out of thin air is creating inflation. How's that better? In the past few years I was trying to avoid everything, which I don't believe in (like all these ICOs) and missed millions of $, but lately I started trading again and made my 3-month salary in like 10 days (few hours in trading combined). I'm happy with what I have, but I'm also pretty scared and it's like I started to hate digital currencies, because now they look much more different...

EDIT: And I started not to care about what will happen in future. This is wrong... very wrong...
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's wrong with you people?! on: June 02, 2017, 10:44:03 AM
The latest craziness is called BAT, which raised some USD $36 Million in 20 seconds. And now a day or two later comes with a USD $170 Million market cap + huge premine. People work for 20 years to buy a house (and this applies for a tiny % of the world's population, because for example, in my country (Bulgaria), a person with average salary will need to work at least 17 years and saves 50% of it to buy an apartment). Now every second 15-year old nerd who invested his lunch money in Ethereum (or NEM, or whatever...) some 2-3 years ago is now a f*cking godzillionaire and he can buy entire town. Not long ago I said we are in a bubble, but I was wrong. This is a f*cking disaster! Can you imagine the levels of inflation, which digital currencies can create? The great depression, Zimbabwe's inflation and housing bubble combined will look like a jokes. Maybe this was the idea behind Bitcoin. About 45 years ago Nixon ended convertibility of US $ to gold and it appears that after several years banks will "back" their fiat money with... Ripple or BallsCoin.

But hey, making money is a good thing, right? Enjoy the ride!

That troll predicted the DAO failure + scams worth millions of $.

That troll is just a troll with a bad haircut. He didn't predict anything. He was contemplating at doomsday scenarios for years and for everything ethereum did. It just happened that one of the hundreds of things built on top of ethereum to be poorly coded. It's like betting on all the possible outcomes.

There you go - I fixed my haircut because of you. Now you can start talking about my big nose, you lonely, dumbass ETH shill. Smiley

That troll predicted the DAO failure + scams worth millions of $. Brendan Eich is a giant in the IT world - no question about it, but I also have my fair share. And what's more important - I always stand behind my words and I have my ID posted here since 2014. All you do is to anonymously cheerleading ETH and nothing more. I already made you a proposal. Come over here and call me Dollface. Will buy you several beers (despite the fact I'm poorer than you, since you are sucking on ETH for quite some time) and will break your neck in 5 milliseconds. As simple as that.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Hacked Again? on: June 01, 2017, 10:40:52 PM
That's why Bitcoin core developers are against BTC hard fork. Because it's unexplored ground and nobody can tell what may happen. But don't waste your time with mining1 and his alt account Minecache (i.e. Mindlesscache) - he will cheerlead ETH, no matter what.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Hacked Again? on: June 01, 2017, 07:33:13 PM
If they find another major bug in Ethereum, then the DAO failure will be like to compare bullet with Tsar bomba. Bitcoin will lose probably 300% of its value... not to mention altcoins and all these project based on Ethereum.

Hello Dollface. Please tell us, which major bug that threatened the ecosystem was ever found ? DDos attacks were just few misspriced codes which were trivial to fix. DAO was just poorly coded. Blaming the platform is like blaming the internet for the viruses you get from p0rn sites.

Why don't you come over here and tell me Dollface in front of me? You probably got rich with your ETH baby and can afford buying a plane ticket to the Czech Republic (as I'm here right now)? And, btw, I'm downloading my porn from safe places and it's virus-free.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Hacked Again? on: June 01, 2017, 07:19:03 PM
No, I meant 300. As far as I remember when DAO failure happened market cap of digital currencies was like $11-$12 Billion and it dropped with probably $3-$4 Billion in the following week. Bitcoin lost about $100 of its value (which was major impact, giving the price back then). Now things can be much more worse...

Lose 300 percent? That would place bitcoin in negative territory. -$4370 at current price.

$2367 : 3 = $789.

Oh you mean it will drop 66.67 percent.

Oh, ok... I meant price will be 1/3rd from this one. Smiley
