261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Metamask and Bitcoin. on: July 02, 2023, 09:36:01 PM
There is no method to deposit Bitcoin into a Metamask wallet unless you're talking about wBTC, which is a token that is not real Bitcoin, and I will also advise you not to use a Trust wallet as your storage. The most suitable option is to use an Electrum wallet or hardware wallet.
262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Board explanation for newbies on: June 30, 2023, 11:54:07 PM
I noticed most newbies make post in wrong section and of course members always correct them  I  don't know if any post like this have been made before but i want to suggest  that a more established member than I who knows these boards better should please create a thread in the beginner section on what kind of posts should be on each boards to assist these newbies
Thanks
There is already a hint added by the forum moderators to clarify each user's appropriate topic for each board, so I don't see any reason for a member to create a thread outlining to newbies which board section they are supposed to post some certain thread.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 30, 2023, 11:41:54 PM
Any industry that is experiencing growth will inevitably see dramas, and the crypto market is no different. Dramas are created in the crypto market to test the fate of investors and get them out before the halving time. Only strong-minded investors who understand the crypto market drama is only but a while, it will be over and they will make it through.
Those who allowed the crypto drama consume them would eventually blame themselves for allowing the FUD news to manipulate their emotions.
You have a point and I believe that the exact drama created by the US SEC to cause some panic in the market may be just for the BlackRock and the Fidelity investment company to accumulate Bitcoin before they both publicly announce filing for the Bitcoin ETF.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming vs Staking on: June 30, 2023, 11:28:43 PM
Staking is a kid giving birth to by Yield farming. Yield farming, also known as liquidity mining, is a revenue generation approach pioneered by the DeFi project in which users can earn incentives by lending, staking, or supplying liquidity to decentralized protocols or platforms.
Both Yield farming and staking share the same disadvantage from my understanding one of the disadvantages is lock time span, Smart contract vulnerabilities

265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I Recover my loss of crypto on this platform? on: June 30, 2023, 12:11:46 AM
Hay, I am New here and know about Bitcoin for the last few years but I lost many times in crypto trading. So my question is that how to trade Securely and profitably? And what are the rules and regulations for me that must follow this platform recommended some close ones will say you will learn from this platform so much and I hope to recover from the loss and get a lot of benefits and knowledge gain that is why I am very excited to hear.
To put it another way, you need to understand the fundamental price concept of the cryptocurrency market and choose the right product (coin) that you're going to use to trade in order to make a profit or make up for your loss in cryptocurrency trading.
The following step is for you to start small and study risk management.
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: June 29, 2023, 11:41:45 PM
Since strategy are always changing in trading, what is the relevance of experience? Who would you trust the most for trading tips,
An old trader who has had better days and mostly still relevant because they have a strong reputation for the fact that he has been trading for a while, or would you trust a new trader who is hot in the market and fresh with new strategies?
No matter how successful a new cryptocurrency trader was and how well his strategy performed in market analysis, he would still lack some internal information about the currency that only experienced traders would possess. In this case, it is wise to compare both the old and new hot trader strategies before choosing one.
267  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: A Non-Custodial wallet, Atomic Wallet, being compromised on: June 29, 2023, 11:14:19 PM
What is the best choice for me? and Why?

+ Thanks in advance and to anyone who contributed in this thread.
Both Guarda and Exodus Wallet are not open source there's a chance that there are some flaws or back doors in the wallet which is yet to be known since no hack or dev exit scam has happened.
The best choice is for you to get a hardware wallet due to ease of use (however you need to learn how to use it safely in other not to expose your crypto to danger), secure transactions, security, etc.
268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not Another Merit Question. Please Hear Me Out on: June 28, 2023, 11:44:21 PM
In this forum, it is almost considered taboo for newcomers to discuss merits.
It's not considered as taboo and the reason why it is not advisable for newbies to make discussion about merit is because it will be see by merit source as someone who is hungry to merit and the same maybe added to the ignore list of the merit source.
To safe from the trouble it is good for newbie not to discuss about merit.
269  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's really scary about artificial intelligence? on: June 28, 2023, 10:00:49 PM
I believe that the main reason most people fear artificial intelligence is the potential effects and impacts of AI on daily life and society as a whole; in other words, people are fearful of the unknown circumstances that may occur in the future, which practically leads to worry and unease in the majority of positions around the world. However, the solution is to regulate the artificial intelligence space.

270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your first purchase in btc: the craziest, the most moving, the most expensive on: June 28, 2023, 09:23:35 PM
My first purchase in Bitcoin was when I wanted to make payment for a service online and the person was overseas and the only way to make fast and heap payment is through Bitcoin. I bought Bitcoin through a P2P form of trading.
I think having one of the whole 21 million Bitcoin is currently my dream now.

272  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will bitcoin influence the next U.S election? on: June 26, 2023, 09:16:05 PM
It is hard to tell if Bitcoin will influence the next U.S election but it is sure that Bitcoin has a lot of users and holders in the US since I believe this is the reason why one of the US Presidential candidates used the idea of a creation framework that will support Bitcoin as one of his campaign strategies because Bitcoin is the only currency that bonds people together without any limit or race difference all over the world

Don't mind those candidate playing seek and hide under the impression that they support bitcoin adoption and want to use that as a campaign strategy to get more followers, bitcoin has gone beyond politics because it is sustainable enough for it to maintain not dependent of any political influence, they are rather using the avenue to make a promotional efforts for themselves more more opportunities through using this strategy.
They are actually leveraging Bitcoin support as a promotional effort for themselves since they know that the cryptocurrency's passion for Bitcoin cannot be broken and the community is always ready to support every enthusiast, which is why they chose to employ the Bitcoin method.
Meanwhile, only a fool will believe their assertion that cryptocurrency is here to stay without the help of any government.
273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber? on: June 26, 2023, 08:52:17 PM
First no matter how helpful the advice and knowledge given to you by a Youtuber or a cryptocurrency trading expert. You still have to do your own research because most of these influencers are paid for every advertisement they do and some of their websites they recommend paid for their service.
Having said that, wellbull.com is truly the official website and the webulltradingbot.com website is a phishing website
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 26, 2023, 05:09:28 PM
~snipped~
Little bit of luck helps a lot, it's not even for gambling only. Sometimes when you do everything in your daily life even on your job, you need little bit of luck so at least you can do your stuff better. You can't search for luck or anything, it just happens in your life(that's why there is a term of unlucky), it's not on-topic but you got what I mean.

Trading requires more of knowledge and analyzing instead of relying on luck but still sometimes there will be one day you will lose and the other day you will not. It's pretty normal in trading and I'll take that as a experience.
Yes, luck is needed in almost all the area of human life or activity but we shouldn't forget that luck doesn't just come in and always come in after man have applied his own knowledge. Therefore, knowledge is what is needed first either in trading, gambling, or other business niches after the knowledge and some hard work then luck comes in.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: June 26, 2023, 04:44:33 PM
The economy is not going to crash into a recession
It is hard to tell if the economy won't crash into recession but I know the political leader will always go for something that will be in their favor.

That there will be an actual soft landing
That depends on the government starting from now, especially toward cryptocurrency which is something they ought to tax and get more revenue from it but they choose to be against it.

That the Russia - Ukraine war will not escalate into a European war
This depends on the political leader who is playing the game of making fortunes from war. I learn that they are making a profit out of this war.

That Gensler CAN'T truly ban crypto
Yes, Gensler won't ban cryptocurrency and I believe he was fully aware of the potential of crypto before he applied for Binance Advisor years ago.

nstitutional investors will come back and take Bitcoin to six digits
We may see more institutional investors but some institutional investors never leave.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t buy Bitcoin when FUD is over on: June 25, 2023, 11:24:20 PM
Buy every now and then and stop wasting time on finding the perfect timing. The perfect timing is always. You’re still part of the first of those brave enough to encourage themselves and invest in BTC. You’ll always be a step ahead of the rest who’re still deciding whether it’s worth it or not.

Timing the market is useless - you’ll get a few decent timings but if you screw up once, you’re gonna be pulled back from the progress you made. Why do this when you can just relax and invest at random times of the week?
Timing the market is not useless since the cryptocurrency is always volatile in nature and there will always be a moment of bearish where the market will dump in price. That's the reason why the OP advises not to buy when the FUD is over because the best time to make an investment in cryptocurrency is when there's blood in the market. But if you're referring to new investors buying now is a good time for them.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: June 25, 2023, 10:54:51 PM
Disappointed more time when i see a meme coin because really high risk for invest. Lot of biggest investors now avoid meme coin so there are no chance for hype tracker.
How can you be sure that a lot of the biggest investors now avoid meme coins when people like Justin Sun make a public announcement some weeks ago about his plan to join the meme coin trading scheme?
You may not know that meme coin is one of the biggest cryptocurrency investor's weapons for making quick profits from naive cryptocurrency investors.
Don't get me wrong. I am never a meme coin investor and never old one before.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: June 25, 2023, 10:29:04 PM

Money is a very powerful tool that can be used to answered all things on earth. Without money there are a lot of good  things in life you can't have access to,  and without money the world doesn't recognize your person that's why every individual person on earth strives so hard to have it. Without money you can not have good health care, good housing condition, better education, almost every good things of life is connected to money that without you can't have it or be it and that's why it looks like money now rules the world.
I personally prefer to call Money does not rule the world. but I prefer to call money as something that is considered the most important and most wanted and needed in the world today. Everyone needs money to buy the things they need. and all work hard to earn money to use as a means by which to buy the things one wants. But yeah, you are free to think of money as anything.
Well I like to think money is actually every thing since  they have simply implemented that  thought in the system of world today, as every one clearly knows without money its basically hard to live your life as money is the core source for us to feed, to house our self and to attain all the basic necessity of life.
You have a point. I believe the reason money is ruling the world is because of its significant role in growing the economy, making people have a luxurious life since it has the innovative capacity to make people achieve financial success and this literally motivates people into working to achieve their great needs.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is Bitcoin to the youth? on: June 24, 2023, 10:01:53 PM
Many youths, really don't understand how the Bitcoin system works due to lack of information or non willingness to understand. Most of them, see Bitcoin as a get rich quick program and when ever they hear someone who is a holder of Bitcoin, all that comes to their mind is that he is a millionaire. This is not so true
An experience from yesterday, when I was discussing with a co worker and when I told him I was into Bitcoin trading his reply was so straight forward that I was putting up a lie. And if I really was into Bitcoin, I wouldn't be not be working. His own idea about Bitcoin is actually wrong. Having Bitcoin doesn't actually mean that you shouldn't go to work it can act as a secondary source of income for you.

So what I'm trying to say is that most youths needs to learn more about the digital currency, BITCOIN and understand fully, what it is.
Bitcoin offers many benefits for young people who are looking for digital payment options and investment opportunities and is not a get rich program.

I think that individuals who don't understand the value of bitcoin do not know how successful it is and how many individuals accept bitcoin throughout the globe due to its success rate.

Other individuals who think that bitcoin is a mechanism to get rich quick actually saw the money of bitcoin holders but they did not see the patience of successful individuals so I think that one will only understand if they physically become a part of it.
It is not necessary that by investment in Bitcoin you have to leave your job but you can continue your job by placing bitcoin as a side job.
Not knowing how successful Bitcoin is is not the reason why some individuals doesn't value Bitcoin and from my own impression, it's the fear of it going to zero with the inclusion of its volatility in nature that is the most reason why some individuals don't invest in Bitcoin. If the Bitcoin ETF is accepted that will change.
Bitcoin is useful for both the youth and adult who value their financial freedom and opportunity.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 24, 2023, 09:35:15 PM
People buy lotteries because they are cheap, so they buy in large quantities. And even though their chances of winning are close to zero, they still think that one day, they will hit the jackpot prize.
I think most lottery game player sees it as a mean of making a daily contribution to their luxury dream life and they choose to buy in large quantities to increase their chance of winning the game.

That's what makes people addicted to buying a lottery to collect hundreds of tickets and hope one or more can win the prize. Sometimes people borrow money to buy lottery tickets because they are tempted to win a prize. They forget that the lottery game is based on luck and that only people with a high level of luck can get the jackpot. For them, the lottery is a gambling game that can be a way to get a lot of money.
The people who are addicted to the lottery are almost those that are greedy for winning but if they can control their buzz it is still a normal thing to collect hundreds of tickets.
